Abstract

The objective of research and development is to develop a model for crawl swimming for beginners. Additionally, extensive data on the following topics are gathered through research and development: the creation and application of beginner Basic models, in addition to assessing the child's efficiency, attractiveness, and effectiveness. This technique was created through innovative work (R and D) led by Borg and nerve. The research and development subjects are 88 elementary school students. The stages of research and development are as follows: The questionnaire and a crawl swimming test, both instruments used in research and development, are used to collect data rates from primary school-aged children: 1) specifications for the analysis; 2) evaluation by experts (the initial product evaluation); 3) restricted to a small group (testing); and the primary test, which is the fourth one. Determine the crawl level of primary school-aged children prior to administering treatments in the form of models developed to crawl swimming, as well as the crawl level of elementary school-age children following treatment or treatments that crawl swimming model to development, in order to determine the model's effectiveness. After receiving specific treatment in the form of crawl swimming models, primary school students achieved a crawl swimming proficiency of 1387, while those who took the initial tests achieved a crawl swimming proficiency of 901. As a result, crawl swimming is a good way for elementary school students to improve their crawl swimming abilities. The outcomes of the development can be used to draw the following conclusions: 1) Grade young models can be created and used in real-world training to further develop skills. 2) Information about the primary young models that have been created demonstrated their viability and improvement results creep swimming for beginners.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve basic forehand drive technique skills. The research method used is sports action research method. The research procedures used are planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects of this study were 31 semester 5 physical education students at PGRI Palembang University. This study applies the resulting method, namely in the form of variations with shadow exercises, the basic technical skills of forehand drive strokes in the game of tennis are increased. The results of the achievement score reached 82.65% where the result is the average score of students where students are the subjects of this study.In a good position, the shadow movement determines how a player anticipates the direction of a fast punch from the opponent, the shadow movement also looks at the opponent's direction so that the forehand returns according to the opponent's difficult places.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning contained in the Menca' Sangge movement and to find out the implications of Menca' Sangge in instilling Bugis character in society. This research was carried out empirically with the method used is an ethnographic method using a qualitative approach. The results of this study show the meaning contained in each movement of Menca' Sangge, namely the meaning implied in the movement of the stance, punch and parry. The implications of Menca' Sangge in instilling Bugis character in society are the contents of a sense of solidarity and kinship which are included in the teachings of Menca Sangge martial arts.

Abstract

Some problem in this research possession of the ball always fails when receiving service from the opposing team, due to a lack of eye-foot coordination, which should be controlled but the ball is not aimed. In addition, the maximum smash power has not yet been reached. This research aims to investigate whether there is a contribution between leg muscle strength and flexibility on smashing skills. This type of research uses correlational. The sampling technique was targeted sampling, which was 10 people from the exciting sepak takraw club. The instruments used in this research were vertical jumping, sitting and reaching, and smashing skills. Based on data analysis and discussion of the calculation results, it is obtained that the multiple correlation coefficient (R-test) is obtained by R-count = 0,962, while Rtable is obtained at 0.789, so Rcount > Rtable, which means that there is a concurrent relationship. Thus, it can be concluded that the strength and flexibility of the leg muscles together contributed significantly to the takraw smashing skills at Rangsang Kepulauan Meranti club.

Abstract

This study aims to make the male cricket players of Pandeglang Regency better understand about batting skills so that in the real championship players are even better at doing batting techniques in the game of cricket. This research was conducted in Banten. Data collection was carried out at NETS or the training ground located at the South Tangerang Puspitek, on 14, 16, 19, and 21 July 2022.This research method is descriptive with survey technique. The population in this study were all male cricket players who will compete at the VI 2022 Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) in Banten. The sample is the men's cricket team of Pandeglang Regency which will compete at the VI 2022 Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) in Banten. Based on the problems raised and supported by theoretical descriptions and frameworks of thinking and then analyzing the data, the results of the study can be concluded that the overall results of batting skills show 69% success and 31% failure.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that when doing futsal and football extracurricular activities, students experienced fatigue quickly for each team that competed and did not know the differences in the physical performance of futsal and football extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Toboali. This study aimed to determine the differences in the physical performance of futsal and football extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Toboali. This study used a quantitative method with a comparative type. The subjects in this study were all futsal and football extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 1 Toboali, totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using tests, including endurance, strength, speed, flexibility, balance, agility, and coordination. The data analysis technique used were the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the paired samples T-test. Based on the results of statistical tests using the paired samples T-test (related T-test) between the physical performance data of football and futsal extracurricular students, the results obtained were the t-count value of 2.232. While with a significant level of 0.05, the t-table value was 1.771. It turned out that the value of the t-count was more significant than the value of the t-table (2.232 > 1.771). It showed that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it could be concluded that there is a significant difference in the physical performance of futsal and football extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Toboali.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Mental Athletes of PORPROV (one of the prestigiouns sporting event in East Java) VII East Java Petanque Sumenep Seen from the Perspective of Imagery and Self Talk. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, subject in the research is athlete of Sumenep petanque sport who participated in the PORPROV championship in 2022 as many as 9 athletes, the instruments used were observation and questionnaires. The results of the study were obtained using an image questionnaire and self talk to determine the mentality of Sumenep's petanque athletes at the PORPROV event. The value from the perspective of imgeri, the mental imagery of PORPROV petanque Sumenep athletes is categorized as moderate with a percentage of 67%. Meanwhile, from the perspective of self talk, PORPROV petanque Sumenep athletes in the use of self talk or talking to themselves are categorized as high with a percentage of 45%. The conclusion is to use imagery and self talk for Sumenep petanque athletes who take part in the PORPROV athlete championship in 2022 can help athletes overcome poor mentality so that they can overcome fear and be able to complete the match optimally.

Abstract

Physical education is one of the subjects in schools, including junior high schools. Learning to swim is not easy, as is the case with class VII students at SMPN 1 Cikajang. Where they still have many difficulties in learning to swim, especially in breaststroke swimming. One of the learning methods that can be used in this case is the Direct Instruction Method (Direct Instruction/DI) with the Media Video approach. This study aims to determine the effect of increasing learning outcomes in breaststroke swimming material in class VII A students of SMPN 1 Cikajang. The direct learning model assisted by video media is very good for improving learning outcomes in breaststroke swimming for class VII A students of SMPN 1 Cikajang. From the results of the analysis obtained a significant increase from cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. The results of learning to swim breaststroke in cycle I in the Good category was 7.40%, the number of students who completed was 15 students. In cycle II there was an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes in the Good category of 33.3%, while 23 students who completed. In cycle III, there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the good category of 48.1%, while 24 out of 27 students completed.

Abstract

The development of the physical education education and learning process for students of SDN V 147 Kapasan Surabaya, in carrying out the frog jump the educator or teacher teaches class II students to try in turns, so that the practical activities carried out are less efficient. The formulation of the problem in this research will define or give a describe how to improve a locomotor lower movement education model through the frog jumping game approach. The purpose of this research is to create educational procedures or sports learning models through playing fun frog jumping. The subject of this research was the teacher working with elementary school students at SDN V 147 Kapasan Surabaya as many as 28 students, of which there were 15 boys and 15 girls. The results of observations and diagnoses, learning methods show that learning basic locomotor movements, especially jumping movements, is still very monotonous and ineffective. In order for students to have good locomotor basic movement skills, fun learning methods are given in the form of games and are effective so that students are able to move optimally and reach a fitness level

Abstract

A clean and healthy lifestyle is a health behavior that is carried out out of a person's concern for himself, family members, and other people in the surrounding environment. The application of a healthy lifestyle is not only washing hands with soap but also disposing of garbage in its place in the community environment. The aim is to find out whether students carry out clean and healthy living behaviors as the formation of their disciplinary character. This research method uses a type of classroom action research. The results obtained in implementing a healthy lifestyle through physical education can improve the character of discipline in MAS Khulafaur Rasyidin students, namely there is an increase in student discipline, namely in the implementation of the pre-cycle there are 23.3% of students experiencing good discipline while in cycle I there is a value of 50% increase the results obtained amounted to 26.7% of students who experienced changes when implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle. In addition, it was continued with cycle II with a fairly high value of 93.33% with an increase of 43.33%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of a healthy lifestyle in physical education learning shows an increase in the discipline of Khulafaur Rasyidin MA students. This increase can be seen from an increase in student participation which includes student activity, student discipline, and student interest in adopting healthy living habits.
