Abstract

ABSTRACT Extracurricular activities are a form of support for character building, skills, and the development of students' potential, interests, and talents. To be able to achieve these goals, learning management needs to be carried out to ensure that learning activities can run systematically and achieve learning objectives. So this study aims to describe the learning management process of yoga in extracurricular activities of Hindu students at SMPN 1 Mataram. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection in this study was carried out through participant observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data sorting, data presentation, and conclusion making. The results of this study indicate that yoga learning management in extracurricular activities of Hindu students at SMPN 1 Mataram is carried out through four main stages, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Each stage has different interrelationships and aspects. However, some of the obstacles faced are lack of knowledge regarding the importance of yoga, limited facilities, physical obstacles, time constraints, and unfavorable weather. Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa yang unik dimana pada masa ini seorang individu mengalami perubahan baik perubahan fisik, psikis, maupun psikososial. Pada masa remaja seorang individu akan mengalami perkembangan mental juga fisik, perubahan sikap juga tingkah laku juga perubahan status dimana mereka sudah meninggalkan status anak-anak tetapi belum sah menerima status dewasa. Masa remaja disebut juga sebagai masa kritis dimana seorang individu ingin mengenal kehidupan juga dirinya lebih mendalam, yang dalam prosesnya tidak luput dari pengaruh negatif juga permasalahan yang sering terjadi dan mengakibatkan adanya gangguan pada kesehatan mentalnya. Pendidikan dan agama disebut sebagai faktor yang berpotensi sebagai penyebab juga pencegah terjadinya permasalahan kesehatan mental. Adapun tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan pendidikan agama Hindu dalam menjaga kesehatan mental remaja. Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Hindu Religious Education and Character, specifically the Tri Guna material, through the application of Digital Mind Mapping in class XII Semester I of SMA Negeri 6 Palangka Raya for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis & McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results show that the application of Digital Mind Mapping significantly improves student learning outcomes. The average score increased from 63.30 in the pre-cycle to 75.00 in the first cycle, and then further increased to 81.7 in the second cycle, with final mastery reaching 100%. Additionally, student activity in learning also increased, especially in discussions, problem-solving, and creativity in organizing concepts using Digital Mind Mapping. Digital Mind Mapping is proven to be an effective learning strategy for enhancing student understanding. Therefore, this method is recommended as an innovation in teaching Hindu Religious Education and Character

Abstract

Various marital problems will arise without thorough preparation. Preparation is not only related to material aspects such as the ability to meet family finances. Other preparations must also be made for the psychological aspect. Like every prospective householder, they are taught from a young age that the married life they will live in the future is full of challenges. Providing this understanding must also be done with great care to prevent individuals from being afraid of marriage. In Hinduism, marriage is a sacred obligation. Because the goal is to give birth to children with noble character. The struggle of householders to overcome various kinds of marital challenges is a noble act. Unfortunately, many prospective married people neglect to live up to the noble principles of marriage. Most people get married only because of physical love. That kind of love is not eternal. There are many cases of householders who consider their partners to be a burden after marriage. The most dominant cause is unpreparedness to solve problems that arise in marriage. When a householder loses love for his partner, household morality also collapses. The wider impact is that children raised in households with minimal immorality tend to imitate the behavior of their parents. Geguritan Salampah Laku displays the challenges of domestic life experienced directly by the author. Nevertheless, mature education means that the author is not easily provoked by emotions. The author patiently tries to improve this condition because he realizes that the goal of marriage is harmony. The moral teachings of householding in Geguritan Salampah Laku are seen in the tenacity to fight for one's household, the ability to control regrets, the ability to work together, physical and spiritual management, and the transmission of the benefits of learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach that is both manifest and latent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu bagi siswa kelas 1 di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja, meliputi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa karena kurangnya inovasi dalam strategi pengajaran, yang mengakibatkan siswa pasif kurang termotivasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimental. Sampel dipilih secara acak dari 21 kelas sebelas, dengan kelas XI TSM 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI TSM 1 sebagai kelas kontrol, masing-masing terdiri dari 24 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi (untuk aspek afektif dan psikomotorik), dokumentasi, serta pretest dan posttest (untuk aspek kognitif), yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan tingkat kesulitan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model CTL efektif. meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran secara komprehensif. Uji t Sampel Independen menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Kelas eksperimental menunjukkan peningkatan tidak hanya pada aspek kognitif tetapi juga pada sikap (afektif) dan keterampilan (psikomotorik) melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran kontekstual. Abstract

The story of Sabha Parwa was made in the form of a scientific literary work by I Gusti Made Widia, packaged with 17 subtitles of the story. Sabha Parwa is the second parwa of the Mahabharata story which in its story is related to the teachings of moral education values. The conflict of the story of sabha parwa tells the story of gambling or dice games and the harassment of women that occurred in the Kingdom of Hastinapur. This research aims to answer the following problems: (1) The structure of the Sabha Parwa story by I Gusti Made Widia; (2) The values of moral education in the story of Sabha Parwa and (3) The meaning contained in the story of Sabha Parwa by I Gusti Made Widia. The theories used are Literary Structural Theory, Value Theory and Semiotic Theory. The approach used in this study is the qualitative method of literature. Research results (1) The structure of the Sabha Parwa story from intrinsic elements, themes of struggle and moral conflict, there are 19 Sabha Parwa story characters, the setting of the main place of the kingdoms of Indraprasta and Hastinapura, the time setting is related to the time of the event, the setting of the atmosphere reflects the aspect of the atmosphere that occurred, the point of view using the first and third person and the storyline is advanced and there is also a flashback plot. The Extrinsic Element has moral, religious, and social educational value. (2) The values of moral education in the story of Sabha Parwa are; Religious, Respect, Sacrifice, Hard Work, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Dignity, and The Enemy Within. (3) There are two meanings of the Sabha Parwa story, namely denotative and connotative meanings. Of the 76 data, 41 data showed denotative meaning and 35 connotative meaning

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek fundamental dalam pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar yang berada pada tahap awal perkembangan moral dan sosial. Dalam konteks pendidikan Hindu, ajaran Catur Paramita yang mencakup nilai-nilai Maitri (cinta kasih), Karuna (kasih sayang), Mudita (apresiasi atas kebahagiaan orang lain), dan Upeksa (sikap netral dan adil) menawarkan ajaran etika Hindu yang relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pendidikan karakter. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi implementasi nilai-nilai Catur Paramita dalam proses pembelajaran, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap etika dan moral siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan penting sebagai teladan dan fasilitator dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur tersebut melalui pembelajaran di kelas, budaya sekolah, dan kegiatan berbasis karakter. Implementasi strategi ini tidak hanya menghasilkan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap nilai-nilai etika, tetapi juga mendorong perubahan perilaku sosial yang positif, seperti sikap empatik, toleran, jujur, dan bertanggungjawab. Evaluasi terhadap dampak penerapan nilai-nilai Catur Paramita menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi yang konsisten mampu memperkuat kesadaran moral siswa secara berkelanjutan. Meski terdapat tantangan dalam hal keterbatasan waktu dan dukungan lintas lingkungan, kolaborasi antara sekolah, guru, dan orang tua dinilai krusial dalam membentuk ekosistem pendidikan karakter yang efektif. Dengan demikian, pendidikan karakter berbasis Catur Paramita layak dijadikan sebagai model strategis dalam membangun moralitas generasi muda yang beretika dan berkepribadian luhur..

Abstract

The degradation of ethics and politeness among elementary school students has become increasingly concerning, particularly due to uncontrolled use of social media. This study aims to formulate strategies for internalizing Hindu ethical values to foster politeness in students in the digital era. The research employed a literature review method with an integrative analysis approach, linking Hindu ethical teachings to character education. The findings reveal that the values of Dharma, Ahimsa, Satya, and Tri Kaya Parisudha are highly relevant in guiding students to interact ethically and responsibly in digital environments. Successful implementation requires active involvement from teachers as moral role models and from families in supervising and limiting access to social media. Schools can leverage technology as an ethical education tool through clear regulations, preventing students from accessing inappropriate content and enabling them to maintain politeness in communication. Synergy between schools and families is essential to ensure the successful cultivation of student ethics in the digital age.

Abstract

The global ecological crisis threatens the sustainability of life and demands a fundamental transformation in education. This study explores how Hindu ecotheological values can be integrated into digital learning to foster authentic and sustainable ecological awareness. The discontinuity between contemplative spiritual dimensions and concrete ethical practices in digital learning presents a major challenge for contemporary technocratic educational paradigms. Employing a qualitative, concept-based approach with reflective hermeneutics, this research analyzes the esoteric dimensions of Hindu ecotheology through fundamental concepts such as Tat Tvam Asi, Rta, Dharma, and Tri Hita Karana, as well as its exoteric dimensions through ritual practices and environmental ethics. The study integrates Habermas’s lifeworld-system dialectic and Tillich’s symbolic theology as critical analytical frameworks. The proposed conceptual model, Hindu Digital Ecopedagogy, integrates three main components: spiritual ecology, digital pedagogy, and ecological consciousness, using a spiral approach that connects esoteric spiritual experiences with exoteric ecological actions. The research contributes by developing an integrative framework that overcomes the dichotomy between the sacred and secular, and between contemplation and action, in digital learning for sustainability.

Abstract

Non-formal pasraman institutions in West Nusa Tenggara likewise reflect efforts to optimize their contribution to improving student competencies by strengthening the actualization of multiple meanings principles in their learning processes. This study aims to analyze more deeply the application of multiple meanings principles in pasraman education using participant and non-participant observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation studies. The findings show that learning programs such as upakara training, Balinese dance, dharmagita, Balinese script, and yoga emphasize the cultivation of local wisdom, the empowerment of individual potential, character and personality formation, and the development of life skills. Pasraman functions not only as a place to learn religious teachings but also as a space for character building and self-development rooted in Hindu values and local wisdom. Education in pasraman offers holistic learning that integrates intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, and cultural dimensions.
