This study aims to determine the implementation of metacognition-based learning strategies in improving the understanding of Pancasila values material in Class VI MIN 1 Majene students. This study uses a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research to explore the implementation of metacognition-based learning strategies in improving students' understanding of Pancasila values at MIN 1 Majene, West Sulawesi. Primary data were collected through learning observations, interviews with Pancasila teachers and students, and tests or questionnaires to assess students' comprehension before and after the strategy's implementation. Secondary data included documents such as Lesson Plans (RPP), curriculum, and records of school activities. The research subjects were class VI students and their Pancasila teachers. Instruments included comprehension tests, self-reflection questionnaires, observation sheets, and semi-structured interview guidelines to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. The study followed steps including preliminary observations, the design and pilot of a metacognition-based learning model, and data collection through various instruments. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics for quantitative data and thematic analysis for qualitative data, with triangulation employed to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results of this study show that the implementation of metacognition-based learning strategies has proven to be effective in improving students' understanding of Pancasila material in class VI students. Before the implementation of the strategy, most students had a low understanding, but after its implementation, there was a significant increase in the average score of students, which was in the high category. The results of the t-test showed a very significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores, proving that this strategy not only improves comprehension but also has a deeper impact on the learning process, especially for materials that require in-depth conceptual understanding.

This study examines the factors behind the low performance of madrasahs in West Sulawesi based on IASP 2020, analyzing root causes and assessing the impact of school management and teacher quality on educational outcomes. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study integrates quantitative and qualitative analyses. The quantitative phase examines secondary data from the National Accreditation Board, focusing on school leadership, teacher quality, teaching effectiveness, and student achievement. Correlation and regression analyses are employed to determine significant influences on madrasa performance. In the qualitative phase, 18 low-performing madrasahs are selected for focus group discussions (FGDs) and semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, students, and education experts. Thematic analysis identifies recurring patterns, with findings triangulated against quantitative data for reliability and validity. The population in this study consists of 62 madrasahs targeted for accreditation in West Sulawesi in 2023. A sample of 36 madrasahs accredited with a C rating was then selected. The results highlight that school management and teacher quality are critical but often constrained by inadequate planning, inefficient resource allocation, and limited professional development. Additionally, learning processes and student quality mediate accreditation outcomes. The study underscores the necessity of comprehensive management reforms and targeted teacher training programs to enhance madrasa performance. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders, offering evidence-based strategies to improve Islamic education quality in West Sulawesi.

-This research aims to describe Asbāb al-Nuzūl and its relevance to Islamic education. This research is qualitative with a type of literature review. As a literature research, research data is in the form of cutting-edge journal research articles related to Asbāb al-Nuzūl and Islamic education. The data source is obtained from Sinta-accredited e-journals and reputable e-journals. The data collection technique uses documentation. The data analysis uses content analysis. The results of the study mention three main points between Asbāb al-Nuzūl and Islamic education, namely, the relevance of Asbāb al-Nuzūl, the reading of progressive verses for Islamic education based on Asbāb al-Nuzūl, and the pedagogical solution of the Qur'an for contemporary Islamic education. Understanding Asbāb al-Nuzūl and studying progressive verses is an important part of relevant and contextual Islamic education. From there, one can explore the pedagogical principles of the Qur'an that not only convey knowledge, but also shape character and social awareness. The solution offered by the Qur'an is very appropriate to improve contemporary Islamic education so that it remains grounded in divine values as well as adaptive to the challenges of the times.

Parental acceptance of children with special needs is a crucial component in the success of inclusive early childhood education. This study aims to explore the factors influencing the acceptance process using Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving three mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) enrolled in an inclusive playgroup at Nurul Jannah, Bandung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using inductive thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke's procedures. The findings reveal that family pressure, marital conflict, and emotional fatigue hinder the acceptance process. In contrast, strong support from the nuclear family fosters faster acceptance and proactive involvement in therapy and education. Interactions within the family microsystem appear to be the most influential factor in shaping parental responses. These results suggest that parental acceptance is not merely a personal matter but a product of complex social dynamics within ecological systems. Therefore, intervention strategies must be systemic, involving both family and broader social environments. The study recommends future research to examine the roles of mesosystem and macrosystem actors, and to apply longitudinal approaches to observe changes in parental acceptance over time.

This study examines the Jamasan Kendeng ritual in Central Java as a unique model of organic religious moderation emerging from local wisdom and environmental praxis. This research is qualitative with a type of ethnography. The research data is in the form of the Jamasan Kendeng ritual carried out by the community in the Kendeng Mountains. Data collection techniques were done through in-depth observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses with interactive model; 1) data reduction based on three theoretical frameworks (religious moderation – environmental conservation – cultural transmission); 2) a 3-dimensional integrative matrix (religious values – ecology – generation); verification with thematic and narrative analysis to construct meaning across generations. The research reveals how this ritual syncretizes Islamic values with indigenous Javanese traditions to foster interfaith tolerance (evidenced by 7.3% non-Muslim participation) and ecological conservation, demonstrated by a 46.7% increase in water discharge and successful resistance against extractive industries. While facing a crisis in traditional leadership succession, the ritual demonstrates remarkable adaptability through youth-driven digital hybridization, including e-sesaji (digital offerings) and environmental apps, with 86% of young respondents supporting its conservation ethos while reinterpreting its sacred meanings. The study concludes that Jamasan Kendeng embodies "ecological religious moderation", a grounded framework where moderation evolves from community-based environmental struggles rather than top-down doctrinal approaches, offering valuable insights for sustainable development and religious harmony in the Global South.

This study aims to identify the influence of character education on student learning achievement in the context of the 5.0 era. The type of research used is quantitative research. This method was chosen because it is appropriate for testing the relationship and influence between the variables that have been formulated, namely character education and student learning achievement. The research design used is explanatory research. The focus of this study is on three dimensions of character: discipline, self-confidence, and independence. The research subjects consisted of 80 grade XII science students at Mahanaim Middle School in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The selection of subjects was carried out purposively, considering that the class had received systematic character education intervention through learning tools used at the school. Data collection was carried out through two techniques, namely questionnaires and documentation. The measurement scale used was a four-point Likert scale, with alternative answers ranging from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (4), as stated by Riduwan (2004). In addition, documentation was used to obtain quantitative data on student learning achievement, which was taken from the Final Semester Examination (UAS) scores. The results of the study indicate a significant influence, both simultaneously and partially, of discipline, self-confidence, and independence on student achievement. These findings underscore the importance of character education as a primary foundation for improving the quality of learning and student competitiveness in the 5.0 era, where intellectual intelligence needs to be supported by emotional intelligence and strong character. Therefore, schools and educators are expected to continue strengthening the integration of character education into the learning process as a key strategy in producing a superior and globally competitive generation.

This study examines the discourse of contemporary Islamic education in facing the challenges of the dichotomy of science, the Islamization movement, and the paradigm of scientific integration. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach with the library research method, data was obtained from secondary sources such as books, journal articles, and other relevant documents. The research location is conceptual, based on the study of the scientific literature. The data collection technique is carried out through documentation, then analyzed with content analysis techniques to identify the main themes and build a conceptual construction. The results of the study show that the dichotomy between religious science and general science is a historical problem that has caused dualism in the Islamic education system. The Islamization movement emerged as a reaction to secularism, but faced challenges in its application. As a more applicable response, the integration paradigm has begun to be applied in a number of Islamic universities in Indonesia, such as UIN and IAIN, in the form of an integrated curriculum and institutional restructuring. Although promising, the implementation of science integration faces obstacles such as academic resistance, lack of integrative training, and a scientific culture that has not yet been supportive. This study concludes that contemporary Islamic education needs to be integrative, transformative, and adaptive to the times. Systemic and sustained efforts are needed to strengthen the paradigm of integration in all aspects of Islamic education.

This study aims to describe the application of digitally differentiated Arabic language learning for students with special needs in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School at SDIT Darul Falah Sukoreo Ponorogo. It is case study research involving seven students with special needs at SDIT Darul Falah. The data collection technique uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The study results showed that Arabic at SDIT Darul Falah Sukorejo Ponorogo is a lesson within the framework of an informal curriculum that must be taught to regular students and students with special needs. Second, the Arabic learning methodology for students with special needs focuses on the self-esteem approach, which aims to increase student confidence, which can affect Arabic's motivation and learning outcomes. Third, Digital Differentiated Arabic Language Learning for students with special needs uses more digital media such as audio-visual media, animated graphics, and educational and social media; this effort is carried out on the principle of second language learning (B2), which must involve the needs of students, especially students with special needs. Digitally differentiated Arabic learning has shown its effectiveness in improving the quality of learning. This digital media can help students with special needs to understand and interact with Arabic more easily. Teachers at SDIT must be trained to use the self-esteem approach and digital technology to learn Arabic. This is so teachers can effectively teach students with special needs.
