Abstract

The relationship between biblical courtship and spiritual entities is multifaceted and interconnected. In Christian courtship, this means being mindful of the other person's needs and desires and working together to build a relationship that is centered on mutual respect and support. The focus of this paper is to analyze Philippians 2:3-4 and examine the relationship between biblical courtship and spiritual entities. This research uses a descriptive method. Data collection in this research as primary data uses document analysis and also supported by secondary data from previous research. Data analysis process is through classifications, interpretation, compare the data, and analyze the context and meaning. The result found exegesis of Philippians 2:3-4 provides valuable guidance for Christian courtship by embracing humility, selflessness and spiritual practices to cultivate the qualities necessary for a healthy and loving relationship with another person. Biblical courtship would prioritize empathy, compassion, communication, practicing forgiveness, seeking to understand and meet the needs of one's partner. Spiritual entities provide guidance and tools for individuals to cultivate a deeper relationship with God and their partners by cultivating a deep and abiding relationship with God and prioritizing spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible study and worship. By incorporating these practices and principles into courtship, couples can build a strong foundation for a lifelong, Christ-centered relationship. In conclusion, biblical courtship should be grounded in a biblical worldview with individuals seeking to align their values and priorities with those of Christ.

Abstract

The society's beliefs in Java regarding traditions related to Islamic education values can be diverse and complex due to Java's rich cultural and historical background with various beliefs. Therefore, it is important to note that each group or community in Java may have different perspectives on traditions and Islamic educational values. This research aims to analyze the history, process, and Islamic educational values found in the Becekan Rajab tradition in Javanese society. The research uses a qualitative method with field research. The results of the study show that the Becekan tradition historically originated from the instinct of an ancestor named Mbah Pucet, the first Village Head of Kaliwungukidul Ngombol Purworejo, around 1930. This tradition is part of the village's traditional ritual or village cleansing, which is held every 27th of Rajab. The series of the Becekan tradition ceremony begins with cleaning the graves, slaughtering a goat at the gravesite, reciting Yasin Tahlil, and holding religious lectures. Islamic educational values present in the Becekan tradition include values of faith, ethics, appreciation for knowledge, humanity, balance, and compassion for all (rahmatan lil’alamin). This research can help Javanese communities understand the Becekan tradition more deeply, including its history, implementation process, and the values it contains. It can broaden people's awareness of local traditions and strengthen their cultural identity.

Abstract

The use of lecture methods and learning media that are not yet effective has an impact on learning objectives that have not been achieved optimally. This research aims to develop the video media for learning cultural diversity in the surrounding environment based on the local wisdom of the Ngerebong tradition for grade IV elementary schools. This type of research is a development using the ADDIE model. The data collection method uses ordinary multiple choice objective tests as well as questionnaires and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistics. The results of the research are the design of learning video media with the results of design assessments from design experts with a percentage of 90.90% who are in Very Good qualifications. The quality of the learning videos shows that the results of the lesson content expert test were 100%, the instructional design expert test was 90.62%, the learning media expert test was 91.66%, the individual trial was 93.33% and the small group trial was 92%. 77%. The effectiveness of learning videos based on the results of the t-test obtained a tcount of -28.33. Then the tcount price is compared with the ttable price with db 29. The ttable price for db 29 with a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) is 1.699. This means that the tcount is greater than the ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning video media based on the local wisdom of the ngerebong tradition is effectively used in cultural diversity material in the environment surrounding the content of Pancasila education in grade IV elementary schools.

Abstract

The decline in tolerance and difficulty in accepting cultures outside one's own are problems that must be addressed immediately. Apart from that, the results of observations show that there are no supporting books that specifically discuss character values with the dimension of global diversity. This research aims to describe the design, analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of picture story book media based on the Ngelawang barong tradition. This development research uses the ADDIE model. Data collection methods use questionnaires and non-test methods in the form of assessment rubrics. The subjects of this research were 25 students. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive techniques and inferential statistics. The percentage results obtained were 80% from design experts, 96% from material content experts, 97% from instructional design and learning media experts, 96.3% from individual tests, and 96.4% from small group tests. The results of the effectiveness test using the dependent t-test technique obtained a tcount result of 24.149, while ttable was 1.71. This shows that the tcount is greater than the ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of picture story book media based on the Ngelawang barong tradition can increase student enthusiasm and increase the character value of global diversity dimensions so that the learning process can run more optimally.

Abstract

This article is based on research aimed at understanding the perceptions of the millennial generation as first-time voters in the 2024 Indonesian General Election, while also exploring their concerns regarding participation in this democratic event. The study seeks to analyze high school students' perceptions of multiculturalism and identity politics through their roles as novice voters in the 2024 election. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 100 high school students through surveys (questionnaires) and interviews, then classified and interpreted to gain insights into their perceptions of the role of first-time voters in the electoral process. The study reveals three key findings: perceptions of multiculturalism, perceptions of identity politics, and perceptions of agency-structure roles. The article concludes that first-time voters from the high school student demographic view youth political participation in Indonesia as a critical issue that warrants significant attention from the government. Strengthening their capacity as first-time voters ahead of the 2024 election is essential, particularly through enhancing their knowledge of democratic rights as citizens and introducing them to prospective leaders at both executive and legislative levels. This capacity-building effort is expected to foster a healthy political education environment that supports the sustainability of democracy and tolerance in Indonesia. Moreover, the study highlights the need to address the intensity and infiltration of identity politics narratives through social media, which have the potential to create social polarization, especially among Indonesia's younger generation.
