Abstract

Primary school Islamic education institutions that organize teaching and learning activities must be involved in developing human resources and improving quality in Indonesia. To achieve this goal, primary school Islamic education institutions must be managed optimally. This research is a library study (library search) which requires researchers to be able to understand the subject matter under study, especially references to various relevant empirical phenomena. The result of this research is the implementation of the management of Islamic educational institutions by applying the functions of Islamic education administration (planning, organizing, directing, and supervising) comprehensively and consistently by internalizing the values of religious moderation as a smart and advanced education seeking strategy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the urgency of problem-solving training for students in SMP N 10 Tanjung Balai School by using group counseling services. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 12 students, the homeroom teacher, and also the guidance counselor. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, which requires deep thinking insight. After reducing the data, the data is presented and then the researcher draws conclusions. The data validity test technique in this research uses triangulation by asking the same questions to different sources. In general, problem-solving training for students in school is very important because everyone faces problems frequently. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that problem-solving training is very important and has a positive impact on students. Therefore, the researcher wants to conduct research with the title “The urgency of problem-solving training for students in SMP N 10 Tanjung Balai school by using group counseling services”.

Abstract

Online learning system requires parents, especially mothers, to work hard to accompany and teach their children to learn at home. The changes in learning activity have generated ways, understandings, and feelings of mothers as parents in directing and teaching their children through online learning systems during the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, this study aims to determine mothers' understanding in dealing with online learning, what methods they apply to direct and teach their children in online learning and find out how they feel about managing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the study show that in terms of understanding, most mothers have no difficulties in adjusting to the technology since the media used in online learning is digital media in general; the feeling of mothers in dealing with online learning is extraordinary in terms of adapting to the system and encouraging children's enthusiasm; and the way mothers direct and teach their children by applying a variety of strategies from adopting offline concept to creating a comfortable learning environment for their children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the weak interest in learning children in religious education. In fact, in almost all places, many TPAs no longer organize teaching and learning activities because there are no teachers, so learning management in TPA based on Islamic education is very much needed. This study aims to interpret the management of Islamic education learning in TPA activities at the Nurul Iman Pakem Mosque. This research is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques used are observation methods, documentation methods, and interview methods. The data analysis technique used is Miles, Huberman, and Saldana with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that learning management in TPA activities at the Nurul Iman Mosque has been going well and its implementation is in accordance with Islamic education. By taking steps according to the principles of management implementation, namely planning, organizing schedules, implementing Islamic education-based learning, as well as monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the views of Ulama Padang Lawas Utara regarding the culture of slaughtering animals during misfortunes in the context of Maqoshid Syariah. The research method used is an empirical legal research method with an empirical doctrinal legal approach, through field research. The research respondents consisted of village heads, religious leaders, and community leaders in North Padang Lawas who had an understanding of this issue, as well as the people who practiced this culture. Data collection techniques include interviews and document studies (literature). Data analysis was carried out qualitatively, with the results arranged in the form of sentences arranged systematically. The results of the study show that the views of Ulama Padang Lawas Utara towards the culture of slaughtering animals in times of misfortune state that this tradition is carried out without burdening the grieving family. Costs for animal slaughter are usually collected through the Help-Help Union (STM) and the cooking process is carried out in a collaborative way. In this context, the tradition of slaughtering buffalo is permissible in accordance with the motto "worship side by side", which illustrates the harmonization between traditional traditions and religious teachings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of BK (Guidance and Counseling) teachers in guiding twelfth-grade students to pursue higher education through placement and allocation of services at MAN Sibolga. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques, consisting of three students from three different classes. Data collection was conducted through interviews. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings are as follows: 1) The role of BK teachers in guiding twelfth-grade students to pursue higher education through placement and allocation services at MAN Sibolga is carried out effectively, and some students have started to make decisions about their post-high school education, 2) BK teachers play a role in assisting students by providing input on higher education options after high school, and 3) by implementing placement and allocation services to guide students in pursuing higher education, students are expected to be able to choose their own further education based on their own preferences, rather than feeling forced or following their peers.

Abstract

Through this research, it is possible to explore and analyze ICT managerial in SMA PGII 2 Bandung City, including policy, availability, utilization and development of ICT in the educational process. It is hoped that the excavation results and descriptions will provide benefits, both theoretically and practically. Theoretically the results of this study can become the basis for developing scientific insights related to ICT management in Islamic educational institutions; allows it to be used as one of the conceptual operationalization guidelines; theoretical study material to find patterns of sustainable ICT development. Practical Benefits, findings and studies can make a positive contribution to efforts to improve the quality of ICT management at SMA PGII 2 Bandung City which are still in need of improvement; can also be used as material for consideration in making institutional ICT development and utilization policies; It is hoped that it can also be a reference for other Islamic educational institutions that have similarities or the same Islamic vision and mission in the implementation of ICT management.

Abstract

One of the most important decision-making processes of a person is choosing a career. What happens in his life will be influenced by the choices he will make. Because it is one of the decision-making processes that individuals go through after going through how many stages of development in their lives. Career selection is also an aspect of a person's personality or social life that cannot be avoided. Certain career choices are very important and tailoring a person's career reflects their personality. Research on descriptive qualitative is this type of research. Using interviews on final year students. Being the source of data for this study regarding the difficulties of final year students choosing careers based on the findings of interview analysis and final year student researchers facing difficulties in choosing their career path. So that students in the final year cannot choose a career path, what will be done to find out the problems faced and to design solutions. In reducing the problems that occur, namely career guidance planning in increasing the exploration of final students.

Abstract

The purpose of the research that the author did was to find out and explore the efforts of MGMP to improve the quality and quality of Islamic Religious Education Learning. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the type of field research. Methods of collecting data were observation, open interviews and study documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of the study found facts that efforts MGMP to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education Learning at SMP-IT Ibadurrahman were carried out by increasing teacher professionalism, improving classroom management and management, and utilizing the habituation programmed in schools. These three efforts are integrated in intracurricular activities, extracurricular activities and habituation activities and school culture. The supporting factors in this case are the existence of evaluation evaluations in one week, the existence of various extra activities and habituation, the existence of cognate lessons that support PAI learning, adequate facilities and support from school stakeholders and foundations. The inhibiting factors of these activities include the ability of teachers to understand and apply approaches, strategies, models and learning methods, teachers tend to do conventional learning with lectures, focusing on cognitive abilities alone.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of group counseling in addressing the culture shock experienced by migrant students at UIN Sumatra Utara. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews and observations of migrant students participating in group counseling sessions. The research findings indicate that the implementation of group counseling is effective in assisting migrant students in dealing with culture shock. Through group counseling sessions, migrant students can express their problems and discomfort arising from cultural differences. Discussions and interactions with fellow migrant students and group counseling facilitators provide emotional support, understanding, and self-adjustment strategies. The application of group counseling also helps migrant students gain new insights about themselves, and the new culture, and strengthen their social skills. In this process, group support and togetherness in addressing culture shock became important factors in the success of migrant students' adjustment.
