Abstract

This research tries to examine the implementation of religious moderation values in PAI learning at Madrasahs and Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) as an answer to problems related to the many statements that our educational institutions are currently exposed to radicalism and intolerance. By using qualitative methods and library research techniques this study concludes that the implementation of religious moderation values in PAI learning in Madrasahs and Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) can be pursued in 3 (three) strategies as follows: 1) inserting (insert) moderation content in each relevant material, 2) optimizing learning approaches, and 3) organizing certain programs, education, training and debriefing with a special theme on religious moderation.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the psychological development of Muslim youth and how it may contribute to the development of their religious maturity. A qualitative inquity, the study reviews relevant books and journal articles on psychological development and religious maturity. Data were then analyzed by ideas of leading Muslim scholars. Findings suggest that the psychological development of Muslim youth determine their religious maturity. As part of their development, youth experience different stages of psychological development including identity search as well trial and error in search of their identity. These phases lead to different stages of religious maturity among young people such as total belief in something, belief with awareness, belief with doubt, disbelief at all. This maturity is influenced by such development factors as personality, psychological condition, family and institutional environment, and social condition. Due to good psychological development, most Muslim youth experience good religious maturity as they become moderate followers of Islam. The study also suggests some recommendations how to provide Muslim youth with proper psychological development so that they become religious and moderate followers of Islam.

Abstract

The habit of writing and reading in Indonesian society is still very low or not fully developed. In the interest of realizing a generation who likes to read, surely what must be grown first is the interest in reading in each individual. This problem encourages teachers to be able to provide optimal stimulus in fostering interest in reading in student from an early age while still prioritizing child-centered learning. This research implemented a jigsaw cooperative learning model. The research design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes two research cycles. The results second cycle show that 87% of student managed to reach the good category. Research using the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model on student's reading interest showed a significant increase. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model can increase student's reading interest.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to reveal the potential and development efforts at Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School Bandung. The method used in writing this scientific work is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results found show that the Daarut Tauhiid Islamic Boarding School is a pesantren that has potential and development efforts that are in line with its vision, mission, goals and programs. From a historical point of view, pesantren are not only synonymous with Islamic meaning, but also contain the meaning of Indonesian authenticity. In the process, pesantren functions as: Center for Islamic studies; da'wah development center; Center for religious and moral services; and the Center for the Development of Islamic Solidarity and Brotherhood Total Quality Management (TQM) implemented by Islamic boarding schools is a step forward in achieving the quality of Islamic boarding school education in accordance with customer satisfaction which ultimately boils down to the suitability between Islamic boarding school output and the times.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of permissive parenting and Islamic understanding on the morals of Madrasah Aliyah students at the Darul Qur'an Islamic boarding school in the Medan Tembung sub-district. This study used a quantitative technique with a phenomenological approach. Observation, questionnaires/surveys, and documentation are used in data collection techniques. Analysis requirements testing, multiple linear test analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t), and simultaneous hypothesis testing are some of the data analysis approaches employed (f). The findings of this study demonstrated that permissive parenting (X1) had a substantial influence on student morality (Y) at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Qur'an Medan Tembung District, as evidenced by a value of 0.023 <0.05 and a t count of -1.990 > t table 1.988 so that it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of permissive parenting (X1) on student morals (Y). There is a significant influence between Islamic religious understanding (X2) and student morals (Y) Madrasah Aliyah Darul Qur'an, Medan Tembung District, as evidenced by a value of 0.025 > 0.05 and a t count value of 2.911 > 1.988 it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of Islamic religious understanding (X2) on student morals (Y). Permissive parenting (X1) and comprehension of Islam (X2) have a substantial effect on student morals (Y) in Madrasah Aliyah Darul Qur'an Medan Tembung District. Based on the output value, it is known that the coefficient of 0.191 is equal to 19.10 R Square of 0.036, this implies that the influence of the permissive parenting variable (X1) and understanding of Islam (X2) simultaneously on variable Y is 36%, the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

AbstractExcellent schools with the best quality cannot be separated from tight competition and school managerial abilities so that they come out as champions with the branding of their favorite schools. Branding strategy plays an important role in filling formal education towards globalization as is done by SMP Pasundan 1 and 2, Bandung City. This private school, provides future-oriented educational options that integrate the advantages of Sundanese culture, religion, and academic and non-academic achievements. This study explores how the implementation of planning, public relations strategy, and school branding by the two schools. This study analyzes the public relations managerial strategy in building an image through the concept of school branding with a descriptive qualitative approach, data obtained by interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study revealed, the implementation of a public relations managerial strategy was carried out by school leaders, and school resources were able to build branding in the community. A systematic public relations management strategy through social media publicity, print, electronic, and educational communication packaging, to build a positive image of schools, students, and excellent schools which always have high public interest every year.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the Analysis of the Causal Factors of Delinquency and Their Implications for Counseling Guidance Services for Mts Al-jam'iyatul Wasliyah Teimbung.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely a description of what happened in the field.  The research subjects were counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and several students of Mts Al-jam'iyatul Wasliyah Teimbung, through survey techniques.  The instruments used in this study were documentation, interviews, and observations.  Interviews were conducted with counseling teachers and homeroom teachers and observations were made by observing the condition of the school environment and the existence of the school.  Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, grouping data, analyzing data, and interpreting data which will be concluded as research results.  The conclusion of this study is that the Analysis of the Causal Factors of Juvenile Delinquency and Their Implications for Guidance Counseling Services at Mts Al-jam'iyatul Wasliyah Tembung is in a fairly good category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student achievement and innovation, analyze the efficiency of using technology in Islamic religious education learning programs at FAI UMSU, and analyze the readiness of FAI UMSU in the activities of the Go International KKN program. This study uses qualitative research methods with field study designs, and data collection interview techniques with an unstructured approach. The researcher himself acts as a key instrument. Data analysis using approach domain analysis and content analysis and checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the study are 1) the level of achievement and innovation of FAI UMSU students in the field of Islamic religious education learning programs has experienced good development. Student innovation has also experienced maximum development such as being able to create a corpse bath prop that has received IPR, 2) the level of efficiency in the use of technology in Islamic religious education learning programs at FAI UMSU has been utilized to the fullest, and 3) Readiness of FAI UMSU in implementing the KKN program Go International has been well programmed and runs optimally through cooperation in the form of MoUs from several ASEAN-level countries.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah Lumajang is an excellent vocational school that implements the Merdeka Curriculum for all subjects, including Islamic Religious Education learning. The implementation process of the Merdeka Curriculum runs swiftly, hence demanding educators to master and adapt to the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to examine the process of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, starting from the planning, implementation, and assessment stages. This research uses a qualitative field study approach, with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are the curriculum department vice principal, PAI teachers, and students. The data analysis techniques employed in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning has been realized, including 1) the planning stage that starts from the management of the school principal and curriculum vice principal in applying the Merdeka Curriculum 2) The implementation stage involves the teacher's preparation of the Annual Teaching Plan (ATP) and teaching modules in accordance with the learning outcomes set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Furthermore, the assessment stage of PAI teachers involves the use of summative, formative, and Project-Based Learning (PBL) assessments.

Abstract

Humans were created on this earth for a special reason, namely to be leaders (khalifah) and servants on earth, Allah gave various potentials to humans which are then expected so that humans can and are able to develop these potentials through formal and informal education. So that all the potential that is owned can be put to good use Islamic education is an education that is expected to hone every potential that an individual has. In order to get the position as expected by Allah SWT. This educational process is strongly influenced by several factors in the process of individual development, such as heredity (al-waritsah), environment (al-biah), human freedom (at-taqhayyun) and the guidance of God that students have. The purpose of this study is to see how the relationship between the elements of heredity (al-waritsah), environment (al-biah), human freedom (at-taqhayyun) and God's guidance in contemporary Islamic education. This type of research is library research, namely research that examines material objects, works and then the source of the data obtained from books, journals, and various types of reports and documents. So the elements of heredity, environment, human freedom, and God's guidance are very influential in the development of contemporary Islamic education especially in this era of globalization humans are faced with many educational and individual moral challenges, humans realize that basically, humans have the freedom to choose whatever has been given by Allah SWT, it's just that so that this freedom is not misused, the task of education is to guide, teach, and educate so that individuals are directed to the right path. With the existence of contemporary Islamic education students and educators can become a vessel in learning activities.
