Abstract

One of the consequences of limiting face-to-face learning in the pandemic era is the implementation of distance learning. At the elementary school level, the application of distance learning is carried out in various ways, one of which is by applying online learning. This article aims to analyze how important the role of parents in learning for elementary school-aged children is in the pandemic era. This research method uses a literature study approach. Data was collected by browsing research articles through Google Scholar. The article analyzed is a research article that discusses the involvement of parents in distance learning in the pandemic era. The results of the analysis of various kinds of literature show how important the role of parents in supporting the online learning process is. In online learning, the learning process cannot run optimally without collaboration between teachers and parents. Most of the teacher's tasks in online learning have been taken over by parents. Parents function as facilitators, motivators, and become the main guides in the learning process. Another role that is no less important than parents is as a learning supervisor, through this supervision control of the quality of learning can be carried out even though it is constrained by distance from the schoolKeywords: online learning, learning quality, parental involvement AbstrakSalah satu akibat dari terbatasnya pembelajaran tatap muka di era pandemi adalah penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Di tingkat sekolah dasar, penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran daring. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa penting peran orang tua dalam pembelajaran bagi anak usia sekolah dasar di era pandemi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan dengan menelusuri artikel penelitian melalui Google Scholar. Artikel yang dianalisis merupakan artikel penelitian yang membahas tentang keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di era pandemi. Hasil analisis berbagai literatur menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran daring. Dalam pembelajaran daring, proses pembelajaran tidak dapat berjalan maksimal tanpa adanya kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua. Sebagian besar tugas guru dalam pembelajaran daring sudah diambil alih oleh orang tua. Orang tua berfungsi sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan menjadi pemandu utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Peran lain yang tidak kalah penting dari orang tua adalah sebagai pengawas pembelajaran, melalui pengawasan ini dapat dilakukan pengendalian mutu pembelajaran meskipun terkendala jarak dengan sekolah.Kata kunci: pembelajaran online, kualitas pembelajaran, keterlibatan orang tua

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students’ learning process and learning outcomes on their reading skills using PAIKEM approach at Second Grade Students of SDN Wowong. The study is done in 2 (two) cycles, through 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research data are obtained through interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data are analyzed descriptive qualitatively and quantitatively. The study shows that PAIKEM approach is effective in improving the learning process and outcomes on the students’ reading skills. This can be seen from the students' attitudes during the learning process; students are active, enthusiastic and enjoy the class. Besides, there is an increase on students’ learning outcomes in cycle II; each student with a score above the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) with an average score of 78.09. It is hoped that this study will provide theoretical benefits, namely adding insight into knowledge about how to apply PAIKEM approach. While practically, this study can contribute ideas and information for schools, teachers and students.Keywords: Skills; Early Reading; PAIKEM Approach. AbstrakPendidikan dasar merupakan fondasi awal bagi anak-anak dalam mempersiapkan diri melanjutkan pendidikan pada tingkat selanjutnya. Salah satunya adalah menyiapkan siswa memiliki kemampuan membaca yang mumpuni. Hasil pengamatan di SDN Wowong, Kecamatan Omesuri, Kabupaten Lembata menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa di kelas-kelas awal bahkan kelas atas belum mampu membaca dengan baik dan lancar. Siswa masih mengeja kata saat membaca dan terbata-bata. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan pendekatan PAIKEM pada siswa kelas II SDN Wowong. Penelitian telah dilalui dalam 2 (dua) siklus pembelajaran dengan tiap siklus memiliki 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, pengamatan, tes, dan dokumentasi dengan prosedur analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PAIKEM efektif memberikan peningkatan proses dan peningkatan hasil pembelajaran membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SDN Wowong. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan sikap siswa saat proses pembelajaran; siswa begitu aktif, antusias dan menyenangkan saat proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II; masing-masing siswa dengan nilai di atas KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) dengan rata-rata nilai 78.09.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan; Membaca_Permulaan; Pendekatan_PAIKEM

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of motivation in learning mathematics in grade IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. This research was conducted to increase student learning motivation in mathematics by using image media in class IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. The method used is class action research conducted by planning, enforcement, and reflection. The analysis uses a picture of student learning outcomes seen from the absorbency and completeness of student learning described descriptively. The results showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes through image media, as seen in the average student activity from cycle I reaching 51.01%, and experienced an increase in cycle II, reaching 54.5% to 83%. The increase is also found in students' learning absorption starting from procyclical, reaching 51.36% increased to 80.9% in cycle III.Keywords: learning outcome, math.AbstrakPenellitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan media gambar di kelas IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan perencanaan, penindakan, dan refleksi. Analisis menggunakan gambaran hasil belajar siswa yang dilihat dari daya serap, ketuntasan pembelajaran siswa yang dijabarkan secara desktiptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil pembelajaran matematika melaui penggunaan media gambar tampak pada rerata aktivitas siswa dari siklus I mencapai 51,01% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II mencapai 54,5 % meningkat menjadi 83% pada . peningkatan juga terdapat pada daya serap siswa dalam pembelajaran dimulai dari prasiklus mencapai 51,36% meningkat menjadi 80,9% pada siklus III.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, media gambar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw-type cooperative model assisted by paired card media on the learning outcomes of class VII students on the interaction of living things with the environment at Payeti Christian Middle School. This type of research is an experiment using a pretest-posttest control group design, sampling using purposive sampling. The population in this study were all students of class VII IPA at Payeti Christian Middle School in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample of this research was 30 students of class VII C as the control class and 30 students of class VII B as the experimental class. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained showed that the pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class were 59.50 < 77.00 while the pretest and posttest scores for the control class were 45.50 < 72.97. Further testing the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test produces an Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 means that the value is less than 0.05 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by paired card media affects learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Model, Cooperative, Jigsaw, Paired Cards, Learning OutcomesAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media kartu berpasangan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan di SMP Kristen Payeti. Jenis penelitian ini ialah eksperimen menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design, Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII IPA di SMP Kristen Payeti pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 30 siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dan 30 siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen 59.50 < 77.00 sedangkan nilai pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol 45.50 < 72.97. Lebih lanjut pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 artinya nilai tersebut kurang dari 0,05 (< 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media kartu berpasangan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Kooperatif, Jigsaw, Kartu Berpasangan, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar Pendidikan. setelah disampaikan model discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain the non equivalentcontrol grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD semester 1 universitas Triatma Mulya tahun akademik 2022/2023. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen. analisis data Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t yang dianalisis menggunakan spss versi 16. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi dan soal pre-test post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam matakuliah pengantar Pendidikan menggunakan model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran. Hal Ini Terlihat Dari Hasil Uji Independentsample T-test Yang Menunjukkan Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) Kurang Dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Final year students are prone to stress, especially academic stress in thesis writing. This study aimed to find out the academic stress scale of final year English students at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB) English Language Education Study Program in writing a thesis during the Covid-19 pandemic and to determine the most dominant academic stress scale among final year students at the English Language Education Study Program UMB in writing a thesis during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study, researchers used descriptive quantitative research method to obtain data. The subjects of this study were even semester English students at UMB who were working on their thesis. The sample of this research was 57 students of the UMB English Education Study Program who were doing their thesis writing and guidance. The instruments used in this study were a Google form questionnaire and an interview guide. Questionnaire was used to obtain data about students' academic stress levels. There are two findings from this study, namely: (1) there are three academic stress scales for final year English students writing their thesis during a pandemic at UMB, namely; low stress scale (9.21%), moderate stress scale (32.46%), and high stress scale (58.33%); and (2) The most dominant academic stress scale for final year English students in writing their thesis during the Covid-19 pandemic was a high stress level. For final year students, they can reduce stress levels to avoid adverse effects on their mental and physical health such as asking for help from close friends or family to always support them during thesis writing. Keywords: academic  stress scale; writing thesis; final year english studentsAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui skala stres akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir Bahasa Inggris di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UMB dalam menulis skripsi di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan untuk mengetahui skala stres akademik yang paling dominan di kalangan mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Prodi Pendidikan UMB dalam penulisan skripsi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif untuk memperoleh data. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa bahasa Inggris semester genap Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 57 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UMB yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi dan bimbingan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Google form dan pedoman wawancara. Kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang tingkat stres akademik siswa. Ada dua temuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) ada tiga skala stres akademik untuk mahasiswa bahasa Inggris tingkat akhir yang menulis tesis mereka selama pandemi di UMB, yaitu; skala stres rendah (9,21%), skala stres sedang (32,46%), dan skala stres tinggi (58,33%); dan (2) Skala stres akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir bahasa Inggris yang paling dominan dalam menulis skripsi selama pandemi Covid-19 adalah tingkat stres yang tinggi. Bagi mahasiswa tingkat akhir dapat mengurangi tingkat stres untuk menghindari dampak buruk bagi kesehatan mental dan fisik mereka seperti meminta bantuan teman dekat atau keluarga untuk selalu mendukung mereka selama penulisan skripsi.Kata Kunci: skala stres akademik; menulis tesis; siswa bahasa inggris tahun terakhir

Abstract

This study aims to describe how big the science process skills of students in class VIII SMPN Makassar city. This research is descriptive correlative with a population of all students of class VIII SMPN Makassar which amounted to 4178 students while the sample amounted to 364 students. The instrument used is a test of science process skills on the material of the human respiratory system in the form of multiple choice. The data collection technique is giving tests to students via google form on even semester VIII class material. The results obtained are the scientific process skills of students in class VIII SMPN Makassar in the human respiratory system material are in the low category.Keywords: science process skillAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN sekota Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN sekota Makassar yang berjumlah 4178 peserta didik sedangkan sampel berjumlah 364 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan proses sains pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pemberian tes kepada peserta didik melalui google form pada materi kelas VIII semester genap. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN sekota Makassar pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia berada dalam katagori rendah.Kata Kunci: keterampilan proses sains

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the applying of the type cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing in the process of learning students about the Digestive Organs in grade students SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Mamasa Regency and to find out the application of the type cooperative learning model Snowbal Throwing in improving learning achievement about the Digestive Organs in grade V SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Mamasa Regency. The focus of this research is in the of learning processes and achievement. The applying of the action was carried out for 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 1 meeting. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in grade V, totaling 20 students. In the first cycle the results of teacher observations were in sufficient qualification (C), the results of student observations were in the sufficient qualification (C) and student learning achievement showed an average qualification (C). In the second cycle the results of teacher observations were in the good qualification (B), the results of student observations are in the good qualification (B) and student learning achievement show an average qualification (B). This shows that the process and learning achievement students in grade students V SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Mamasa Regency after applying the type cooperative learning model snowball throwing experienced a significant increase.Keywords: Snowball Throwing Type Cooperative Learning Model,learning achievement. AbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowbal Throwing dalam proses belajar siswa tentang Organ Pencernaan di kelas V SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Kabupaten Mamasa dan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowbal Throwing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang Organ Pencernaan di kelas V SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Kabupaten Mamasa. Fokus penelitian adalah proses dan hasil belajar. Pelaksanaan tindakan  dilakukan selama 2 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri 1 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni kondensasi data, Penyajian data, dan Penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru dan  siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 orang. Pada siklus I hasil observasi guru berada pada kualifikasi cukup (C), hasil observasi siswa berada pada kualifikasi cukup (C) dan tes hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan dengan kualifikasi cukup (C). Pada siklus II hasil observasi guru berada pada kualifikasi baik (B), hasil observasi siswa berada pada kualifikasi baik (B) dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan dengan kualifikasi baik (B). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa proses dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 012 Barra-Barra Kabupaten Mamasa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing, Hasil belajar.

Abstract

R.A Kartini and Malala Yousafzai are women who are very vocal in fighting for women's rights, including in terms of education. But what's more interesting, they live in very different times and environmental backgrounds but have their own passion and thoughts about education. The purpose of this research is to compare the thoughts of the two figures. This type of research is library research. While the method of analysis is content analysis, reduction and interpretation. This research shows the similarity of Kartini's thoughts with Malala, namely one of them is pro towards educational equality while what distinguishes them is their basis and approach in formulating the concept of the urgency of education for women. R.A Kartini and Malala are two smart and brave girls who have high empathy and social sensitivity. Namun yang lebih menarik, mereka hidup di zaman dan latar belakang lingkungan yang jauh berbeda namun memiliki semangat serta pemikiran masing-masing tentang pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan pemikiran kedua tokoh tesebut. Jenis penelitan ini adalah libtary research. Sedangkan metode analisisnya adalah content analisys, reduksi dan interpretasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan kemiripan pemikiran Kartini dengan Malala yakni salah satunya pro terhadap kestaraan pendidikan sedangkam yang membedakannya dasar dan pendekatan mereka dalam merumuskan konsep urgensi pendidikan untuk perempuan. R.A Kartini dan Malala adalah dua gadis cerdas dan pemberani yang memiliki empati serta kepekaan sosial yang tinggi. Abstract

This research is a pseudo-experimental research that aims to find out whether there is an influence of collaborative learning models and learning interests on the learning outcomes of economic  students in SMAN 11Wajo. The free variables in this study are collaborative learning models such as Numbered Heads Together (NHT)  and interest in learning, while the bound variables are students' economic learning outcomes. The population in this study consisted of a set of SMA Negeri  11 Wajo students, while the sample was Class XIIIS 1 as an experimental class of 26 students and Class XI IIS 2 as a control class of 26 students. The  research data was collected by carrying out  learning performance tests with materials on economic growth and economic development in the form of pre- and post-tests as well as questionnaires to measure the students' interest in learning. Data analysis techniques use tests for normality, tests for homogeneity, and t-tests.According to the results of the data analysis in the statistical t-test, there were significant values for the cooperative learning model Heads Numbered Together (NHT) type 0.307> 0.05 and the significant value of learning interest 0.242> 0.05, so the hypothesis test results showed that H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant impact between the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) collaborative learning model and  interest in learning on the learning outcomes of economic  students in SMAN 11 WAJO, Takkalalla District, Wajo Regency, returns.Keywords: Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Interest In Learning, Learning Outcomes.AbstrakPenelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang dirancang demi mendeteksi apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dan minat belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa di SMAN 11 Wajo. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini merupakn model pembelajaran kolaboratif tipe NHT serta minat belajar, untuk variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah siswa SMA Negeri 11 Wajo, sedangkan sampelnya merupakan Kelas XI IIS 1 untuk kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 26 siswa  serta kelas XI IIS 2 untuk kelompok kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilaksanakan  dengan melakukan tes kinerja pembelajaran terhadap materi pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembanguand ekonomi berupa pretest serta posttest dan kuesioner agar menetahui tingkat minat belajar. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan pengujian normalitas, homogenitas, serta uji-t. hasil analisis data pada uji-t statistik, nilai Sig. untuk NHT sebanyak 0,307>0,05 serta nilai Sig. untuk minat belajar  yaitu 0,242>0,05 sehingga hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa H0 diterima serta Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered  Heads Together (NHT) dan minat belajar  terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran ekonomi pada SMAN 11 WAJO, Kecamatan Takkalalla, Kabupaten Wajo.Kata kunci: Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar.
