Abstract

This study aims to develop mobile learning interactive media in fifth-semester students' discrete mathematics courses to motivate students in learning discrete mathematics material via mobile phones anywhere and anytime. The population in this study were all mathematics education students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo and the sample in this study were fifth-semester students. The subjects of this study were VB semester students, totaling 30 students of the mathematics education study program Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo for broad trial and VA semester for trials limited to 7 students. This type of research is developed with the ADDIE stages, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, and feedback. The results of this study show that interactive mobile learning media in discrete mathematics courses for fifth-semester students is feasible to use. This can be seen from the validity test, both material and media validity is stated to be very feasible, practicality reaches a value of 3.70 which is stated to be very practical, and in terms of effectiveness 80% of students meet the predetermined minimum value of 75.Keywords: interactive media, mobile learning, discrete mathematics courses AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media interaktif mobile learning pada matakuliah matematika diskret mahasiswa semester V sehingga mahasiswa dapat belajar materi matematika diskret melalui handphone dimanapun dan kapanpun. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VB yang berjumlah 30 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo untuk uji coba luas dan semester VA untuk uji coba terbatas yang berjumlah 7 mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian adalah pengembangan dengan tahapan ADDIE yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain/perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi/ eksekusi), Evaluation (Evaluasi/ umpan balik). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Media interaktif mobile learning pada matakuliah matematika diskret mahasiswa semester V layak digunakan ini terlihat dari uji validitas baik validitas materi maupun media dinyatakan sangat layak, kepraktisan mencapai nilai 3,70 yang dinyatakan sangat praktis, dan dari segi ke efektifan 80% mahasiswa memenuhi nilai minimalyang suda ditentukan yaitu 75Kata kunci: media interaktif, mobile learning, matematika diskret

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical concepts in the material system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) based on the stages of APOS theory in terms of the learning styles. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class X SMA Negeri 10 Tanimbar Islands Regency. The instrument used in this research is a) observation. Observation aims to observe student activity in understanding mathematical concepts in SPLDV material in applying APOS theory in terms of student learning styles, b) interviews. Interview sheets were used to obtain information related to understanding mathematical concepts in SPLDV material in applying APOS theory in terms of student learning styles c) Tests The test sheets in this study were given to students after being given mathematics learning with an understanding of mathematical concepts in SPLDV material in applying APOS theory in terms of student learning styles. The results of this study indicate that the APOS theory as an elaboration of mental construction from actions (actions), processes (processes), objects (objects), schemes (schema) improves students with visual learning styles, auditory learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles can improve students' abilities. mathematical concepts in the material system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV).Keywords: APOS Theory, Learning Styles and SPLDV Concepts.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan konsep matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) berdasarkan tahapan teori APOS ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar yang berjumlah  32 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah a) observasi. Observasi bertujuan untuk mengamati aktifitas siswa dalam pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi SPLDV dalam menerapkan teori APOS ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa, b) wawancara. Lembar wawancara digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi SPLDV dalam menerapkan teori APOS ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa c) Tes Lembar tes dalam penelitian ini diberikan kepada siswa sesudah diberikan pembelajaran matematika dengan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi SPLDV dalam menerapkan teori APOS ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa teori APOS sebagai suatu elaborasi tentang konstruksi mental dari aksi (actions), proses (processes), objek (objects), skema (schema) meningkatkan siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, gaya belajar auditorial dan gaya belajar kinestetik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan konsep matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Kata Kunci : Teori APOS, Gaya Belajar dan Konsep SPLDV.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively reveal the competence of school principals in Tulang Bawang Regency. This research is a case study research in the field using an analytical perspective. This field research is a collaboration with school supervisors to obtain accurate and reliable data. It was concluded that the highest managerial competence of the principals of SMP in Tulang Bawang Regency was SMP Yapindo with a score of 3.89 followedby SMPN 2 Banjar Agung with a score of 3.86, SMPN 3 Menggala with a score of 3.8, SMPN Satap 2 Gedung Meneng with a score of 3.26, SMP Dwipa Karya Mandiri with a score 3.23, Menggala 4 Middle School with a score of 3.14, Angkasa Middle School with a score of 3.03, Meneng Satap 1 Middle School with a score of 2.87, and the lowest was obtained by Satap 3 Meneng Building Middle School. The average performance of school principals in managerial competence is 3.30. This means that the performance of school principals is classified as good. Key words: Principal, Junior high, Competency, Managerial.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap secara komprehensif kompetensi kepala sekolah di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus di lapangan dengan menggunakan perspektif analitik. Penelitian lapangan ini merupakan kolaborasi dengan pengawas sekolah guna mendapatkan data yang akurat dan dapat dipercaya. Disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah SMP Se-Kabupaten Tulang Bawang tertinggi adalah SMP Yapindo dengan skor 3.89 diikuti SMPN 2 Banjar Agung dengan skor 3.86, SMPN 3 Menggala dengan skor 3.8, SMPN Satap 2 Gedung Meneng dengan skor 3.26, SMP Dwipa Karya Mandiri dengan skor 3.23, SMP 4 Menggala dengan skor 3.14, SMP Angkasa dengan skor 3.03, SMPN Satap 1 Gedung Meneng dengan skor 2.87, dan terendah didapat oleh SMPN Satap 3 Gedung Meneng. Rata-rata kinerja kepala sekolah pada kompetensi manajerial adalah 3.30 ini berarti bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah tergolong Baik.Kata kunci: Kepala sekolah, SMP, Kompetensi, Manajerial

Abstract

Abstract The ability of mathematics representation os one of the basic skill (ability) that must be had by students. This ability is the ability to tell the mathematics idea as a tool to find solution of mathematics problems. This ability needed by students to understand mathematics concept and to communicate mathematics idea. The purpose of the research was to describe the ability of mathematics representation of male and female students in finishing divergent mathematics problems. Library research was used to complete this research. The result was male students were able to complete divergent mathematics problems in symbolic representation indicator correctly and precisely, but they tend to be difficult in completing verbal representation. Whereas, female students were able to complete divergent mathematics problem on verbal representation indicator correctly and precisely, but they thend to be difficult in completing symolis representation.  Keywords: representation, divergent msthemstics problem, gender Abstrak Kemampuan representasi matematika merupakan salah satu keterampilan (kemampuan) dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Kemampuan ini merupakan kemampuan mengungkapkan ide matematika sebagai alat untuk mencari solusi dari masalah matematika. Kemampuan ini diperlukan oleh siswa untuk memahami konsep matematika dan mengkomunikasikan gagasan matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematika siswa putra dan putri dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika divergen. Penelitian kepustakaan digunakan untuk melengkapi penelitian ini. Hasilnya adalah siswa laki-laki mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika divergen indikator representasi simbolik dengan benar dan tepat, namun mereka cenderung kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan representasi verbal. Sedangkan siswa perempuan mampu menyelesaikan soal matematika divergen pada indikator representasi verbal dengan benar dan tepat, namun kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan representasi simbolis.Kata kunci: representasi, masalah msthemtics divergen, gender

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 2 Waingapu. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design using nonequivalent control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling. The population in this study were class VIIIE students at SMP Negeri 2 Waingapu in the odd semester of 2022/2023. The sample of this research is 32 students of class VIIIE as an experimental class. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained showed that the pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class were 69.19 <76.28 while the pretest and posttest scores for the control class were 63.50 <69.56. Further testing the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test produces an Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 means that the value is less than 0.05 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has an influence on learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Model, Cooperative, Jigsaw Type, Learning OutcomeAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Waingapu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIIIE di SMP Negeri 2 Waingapu pada semester ganjil 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 32 peserta didik kelas VIIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen 69,19 < 76,28 sedangkan nilai pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol 63,50 < 69,56. Lebih lanjut pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 artinya nilai tersebut kurang dari 0,05 (< 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Kooperatif, Tipe Jigsaw, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the form of politeness language in conversation classroom. Interaction between the students and the teachers. The approach which is used qualitative descriptive. Thi at s research activity uses data collection methods, namely competent free involvement methods, and notes. Data of this research is the language expressions in the form of words and sentences of the speakers. The data source of this research is used oral data source in the form of speech event between the speakers, namely between the students to their teachers. The politeness language for an interaction with the teachers in classroom learning is very dominant in the three modes of speech, they are 1) request; 2) application; and 3) expect. Asking is a directive politeness act that has the goal of expecting the speech partner to be given something as requested by the speaker.Key Words : Politeness, Politeness Language, Students, Teachers. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mengkaji kesopanan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris, khususnya interaksi antara siswa dan guru di kelas bahasa Inggris. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan dan catatan keterlibatan kompeten independen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data untuk penelitian ini. Ungkapan bahasa berupa kata-kata dan kalimat penutur merupakan data penelitian. Sumber data lisan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tindakan berbicara antara penutur, khususnya siswa dan guru. Etiket bahasa mendominasi interaksi dengan dosen dalam tiga bidang: 1) permintaan, 2) implementasi, dan 3) harapan. meminta adalah kesantunan pribadi yang mengharapkan lawan bicara menyampaikan sesuatu sesuai permintaan penutur.Kata kunci: kesantunan, kesantunan berbahasa, siswa, guru.

Abstract

Implementation of learning is based on effective learning planning so that students can absorb the material being taught. The problem in this study is the use of a realistic mathematical approach based on the local wisdom of burning stones in the Tanimbar community. The purpose of this study was to instill students' thinking concepts in solving the local wisdom problems of the Batu Bakar community in Tanimbar by paying attention to a realistic mathematics learning approach. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Implementation of learning conducted in Class VIII, SMP N 1 Kormomolin. The results of learning in this class can be concluded that (1) students' reasoning abilities are very good in understanding mathematical problems contained in the local wisdom of the Tanimbar community. (2) the use of a realistic mathematics learning approach based on tanimbar local wisdom is very good for use in mathematics.Keywords: Ethnomatematics, PMRI, Batu BakarAbstrakPelaksanaan pembelajaran didasarkan pada perencanaan pembelajaran yang efektif agar siswa dapat menyerap materi yang diajarkan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pendekatan matematis realistik berbasis kearifan lokal pembakaran batu pada masyarakat Tanimbar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menanamkan konsep berpikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kearifan lokal masyarakat Batu Bakar Tanimbar dengan memperhatikan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan di Kelas VIII SMP N 1 Kormomolin. Hasil pembelajaran pada kelas ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) kemampuan penalaran siswa sangat baik dalam memahami masalah matematika yang terkandung dalam kearifan lokal masyarakat Tanimbar. (2) penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis kearifan lokal tanimbar sangat baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika, PMRI, Batu Bakar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students after applying the model Mind Mapping. The research method used in this research is quasi-experimental design research Pre-experiment One Group Pre-test and Post-test. The data collection technique was carried out using a test technique in the form of an essay with 5 questions. Data analysis techniques with steps: calculating the average, standard deviation, normality test and hypothesis testing. The population in this study were fourth grade students with a total sample of 22 students taken using a saturated sampling technique. The average score of student learning outcomes in the initial test was 40.31 and in the final test it was 86.41 and students with an average increase of 46.1. on datapost-test it was found that there were students who completed the standard of 65 out of the total class IV students with a learning completeness percentage of 100%. Based on the calculation results of the z-test analysis. known Z valuecount (8,63) WITHtable (1.64). Thus it can be concluded that after applying the modelMind Mapping in the social studies subject, the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 23 Lubuklinggau are significantly complete.Keywords: Mind Mapping, Model, Social Studies Learning, Elementary SchoolAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV setelah diterapkan model Mind Mapping. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik (pre-test dan post-test). Metode nya Pre-Experimental design. Instrument yang digunakan berbentuk soal essai. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 siswa. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada tes awal sebesar 40,31 dan pada tes akhir menjadi 86,41 dan siswa dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 46,1. Pada data post-test didapatkan ada siswa yang tuntas mencapai standar 65 dari total siswa kelas IV dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil hitung atau analisis uji-z. post-test dengan Zhitung (8,63) Ztabel (1,64), data post-test meningkat menjadi 100% atau semua siswa tuntas mencapai dari total siswa kelas IV yaitu 22 orang. Demikian,dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah diterapkan model Mind Mapping pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV secara signifikan tuntas.Kata Kunci: Mind Mapping, Model,  Pembelajaran IPS, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The ability to receive and process information is included in cognitive abilities. This ability is a basic ability that everyone should have well because almost every day human life is surrounded by information. However, not all individuals can immediately understand the information provided to them, including students. For this reason, this study aims to find out how students' abilities in receiving and processing information in educational statistics courses. In addition, it is also to find out what causes differences in students' abilities in receiving and processing information in educational statistics courses. The method used is a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach. Data collection was carried out by observing, filling out questionnaires, and documentation. The research was conducted in Class PAI 5E FAI UIKA Bogor. The results showed that student's ability to receive and process information in educational statistics courses was quite good. This can be seen from the results of student learning which shows that the average is at A-B grades. The causes of differences in student abilities in receiving and processing information on educational statistics courses are caused by 3 things, namely interest and motivation to learn, focus on learning, and supporting facilities in learning these courses.Keywords: cognitive ability; learning outcomes; educational statistics AbstrakKemampuan menerima dan mengolah informasi termasuk dalam kemampuan kognitif. Kemampuan ini merupakan kemampuan dasar yang seharusnya dimiliki setiap orang dengan baik karena hampir setiap hari kehidupan manusia dikelilingi dengan adanya informasi. Akan tetapi tidak semua individu bisa langsung memahami informasi yang diberikan kepada mereka termasuk mahasiswa. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerima dan mengolah informasi mata kuliah statistika pendidikan. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui apa penyebab perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerima dan mengolah informasi mata kuliah statistika pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan grounded theory. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, pengisian kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelas PAI 5E FAI UIKA Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerima dan mengolah informasi mata kuliah statistika pendidikan dapat dikatakan cukup baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar mahasiswa yang menunjukkan rata-rata berada pada nilai A-B. Adapun penyebab perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerima dan mengolah informasi mata kuliah statistika pendidikan disebabkan oleh 3 hal yaitu minat dan motivasi belajar, fokus belajar, serta fasilitas penunjang dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah tersebut.Kata kunci:Kemampuan kognitif, hasil belajar, statistika pendidikan

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out if the application of the Jigsaw learning model could significantly improve the results of learning history for class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. At this time it is very important for the world of education to continue to improve its ability to teach with the latest learning models so that the teaching and learning process is not boring. The method used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study were all of class VII, totaling 265 students and the sample taken in this study was class XI MIA 4, totaling 32 students. Samples were taken by simple random sampling. The conclusion from this study is whether there is a significant increase in the results of studying history in class XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau after being given learning using the Jigsaw learning model. This can be seen from the results of the analysis with the t-test obtained t-count> ttable (7.20> 2.567) this means that H0 is rejected Ha is accepted. From the research that has been carried out by researchers, it is clear that the application of the Jigsaw learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. These results are in accordance with the research objectives so that learning outcomes continue to increase and become an alternative for teachers in the future to continue to innovate.Keywords: Application, Jigsaw learning model, Learning Outcomes AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau secara signifikan. Pada saat ini sangat penting bagi dunia pendidikan untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam mengajar dengan model pembelajaran terbaru agar proses belajar mengajar tidak membosankan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 265 siswa dan sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 4 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan simple random sampling. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adakah peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah yang signifikan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Jigsaw. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil analisis dengan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (7,20 > 2,567) hal ini berarti H0 ditolak Ha diterima. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan peneliti, terlihat bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. Hasil tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian agar hasil belajar terus meningkat dan menjadi alternatif bagi guru ke depan untuk terus berinovasi.Kata kunci : Penerapan, model pembelajaran Jigsaw, Hasil Belajar
