Abstract

Tidak banyak instrumen yang mengukur kepribadian masyarakat muslim di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan skala kepribadian Muthmainnah dengan melakukan rangkaian tes yang memadai. Terdapat 439 responden dari kalangan dewasa akhir usia 40-60 tahun yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan Winstep 3.73 menunjukkan bahwa Instrumen pengukuran Kepribadian Muthmainnah memperoleh 33 item yang fit dengan model dari 42 item. Cronbach alpha yang diperoleh sebesar 0.86 dengan koefisien person reliability sebesar 0.84 dan nilai koefisien item reliability sebesar 0.99. Sehingga secara keseluruhan disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur kepribadian muthmainnah valid dan memiliki sifat psikometrik yang baik sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kepribadian pada individu.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan utama dalam tumbuh kembang anak adalah kemampuan komunikasi. Kesulitan berkomunikasi juga dialami oleh anak down syndrome. Mayoritas komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh anak down syndrome ialah cenderung menggunakan kata yang kurang dapat dipahami oleh orang lain disebabkan pengucapan vokal yang kurang jelas atau kesalahan penggunaan kata sehingga orang lain kurang dapat memahami isi pembicaraan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi anak down syndrome adalah terapi murottal Al-Qur’an. Terapi murottal dapat diberikan pada anak penyandang down syndrome sebagai upaya untuk menunjang perkembangan komunikasi mereka. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji efektivitas terapi murottal dalam meningkatkan perkembangan komunikasi pada anak down syndrome. Adapun variabel sekunder dalam penelitian ini yang akan dikontrol berupa IQ subjek, kebisingan, dan suasana sosial selama penelitian. Teknik analisis penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik non-parametrik. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji Independent Mann Whitney U yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,513. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pemberian perlakuan berupa terapi murottal dan terapi musik terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi pada anak down syndrome. Namun, dari hasil analisis secara kualitatif semua subjek terlihat mengalami peningkatan bahasa baik secara ekspresif/verbal maupun reseptif/nonverbal dan terapi ini mampu memberikan peningkatan bahasa pada subjek.

Abstract

Gratitude is an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT for the favors, gifts, and conveniences given. Gratitude is divided into gratitude in heart, words, and deeds. This study aims to determine the factors that influence gratitude by using a literature review technique. Literature search was carried out on electronic databases, google scholar, and google with the keyword gratitude. The results of this search indicate that there are two factors that influence gratitude. These factors are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of religiosity, remembering God's favors, all favors will be held accountable, seeing people who are lower in rank, praying to be given help to be grateful, emotionality, prosociality, positive affect, good intentions, and the presence of psychopathology within. While external factors in the form of perceptions of peers and family roles.

Abstract

Well-being pada karyawan merupakan faktor penting bagi kesuksesan dan kinerja organisasi. Well-being di tempat kerja disebut dengan workplace well-being. Dinamika well-being di tempat kerja menjadi sangat penting untuk dipahami, karena akan berpengaruh pada pada kesehatan, perilaku dan kinerja. Banyak hal yang berperan dalam pembentukan workplace well-being diantaranya yakni psychological capital dan kebahagiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran dari psychological capital dan kebahagiaan terhadap workplace well-being. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 96 orang pekerja di sebuah Universitas Islam Negeri di Pekanbaru yang ditemui secara kebetulan. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala kebahagiaan dari Argyle Hills (1991), workplace well-being dari Page (2005) dan skala PsyCap adalah psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ) dari Luthans (2007). Berdasarkan analisis regresi menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Psychological Capital dan kebahagiaan terhadap Workplace Well-being dengan nilai signifikasi 0.000 lebih kecil dari P= 0.05 dengan sumbangan efektif kedua variabel sebesar 0.479 (47,9 %) yang artinya Psychological Capital dan kebahagiaan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap Workplace Well-being pada karyawan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi PsyCap dan Kebahagiaan karyawan, maka semakin tinggi pula kesejahteraan yang dirasakan karyawan ditempat kerja. Karyawan yang memiliki harapan yang tinggi terhadap pekerjaannya, selalu optimis, memiliki keyakinan diri untuk dapat mencapai tujuan kerja serta tangguh dalam mengatasi persoalan dan juga karyawan marasa nyaman, dan bahagia menjalani pekerjaan maka akan meningkatkan perasaan sejahtera atau kesejahteraan karyawan ditempat kerja. The Role Of Psychological Capital And Happiness In Workplace Well-Being: A Study Of Workers At The Islamic X University Of Pekanbaru. Abstract Employee well-being is an essential factor for organizational success and performance. Well-being at work is called workplace well-being. The dynamics of well-being in the workplace are fundamental to understand because they will affect health, behavior, and performance. Many things can improve workplace well-being, including psychological capital and happiness. This research examines the role of psychological capital and happiness in workplace well-being. Data are collected on 96 workers at a State Islamic University in Pekanbaru. Data was collected through the happiness scale from Argyle Hills (1991), workplace well-being from Page (2005), and the Psychological capital scale, which is the psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ) from Luthans (2007). Based on the regression analysis, there is an influence of Psychological Capital and happiness on Workplace Well-being with a significance value of 0.000, smaller than P= 0.05 with a practical contribution of both variables of 0.479 (47.9%), which means Psychological Capital and happiness together, has a positive effect on Workplace Well-being among employees. This riset shows that the higher the employee's PsyCap and Happiness, the higher the employee's perceived well-being. Employees with high hopes for their work are always optimistic, have the self-confidence to achieve work goals, and are resilient in overcoming problems. And also, employees who feel happy and happy doing their work will increase the feeling of well-being or well-being of employees at work. Abstract

Internet addiction merupakan penggunaan internet berlebihan dan tidak terkontrol yang dilakukan oleh seseorang. Mahasiswa seringkali terkena internet addiction dikarenakan mahasiswa banyak menggunakan waktunya untuk berinternet. Internet addiction banyak memberikan dampak negatif bagi mahasiswa. Mahasiswa perlu mengetahui faktor-faktor pendorong terjadinya internet addiction agar terhindar darinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara fear of missing out dan emotional intelligence terhadap internet addiction pada mahasiswa. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 400 orang mahasiswa aktif yang berkuliah di Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga alat ukur untuk mengukur masing-masing variabel, yaitu: Internet Addiction Test (IAT), Online Fear of Missing Out (ON-FoMO) dan Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire Short Form (TEIQUE-SF). Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan kedua variabel berpengaruh terhadap internet addiction pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini juga menemukan hasil bahwa sumbangan efektif dari FoMO terhadap internet addiction lebih besar dibandingkan sumbangan efektif emotional intelligence terhadap internet addiction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai keputusan childfree dari sudut pandang Psikologi dan Islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara mendalam bagaimana fenomena childfree ditinjau dalam perspektif Islam dan Psikologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi literatur dan wawancara untuk memperoleh informasi secara mendalam. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dari sudut pandang islam tidak menganjurkan untuk childfree, dalam Al-Qur’an, hadis, dan konsep-konsep dalam Islam menganjurkan manusia untuk mempunyai anak karena beragam manfaat menuju kemaslahatan yang bisa diraih darinya. Sedangkan dari sudut pandang psikologi, keputusan seseorang untuk childfree itu merupakan hak masing-masing atau hak dari kedua belah pasangan sehingga sebagai seorang manusia kita perlu menghargai keputusan tersebut.

Abstract

Nowadays, students often face interpersonal conflicts caused by conflicting behaviors such as differences of opinion, interests or conflicts between individuals. Some previous studies have shown that the way to deal with a conflict is to forgive the person. This study aims to find out the relationship between emotional intelligence and forgiveness in Bangka Belitung and Central Java students. A total of 109 students studied in Bangka Belitung and Central Java obtained through purposive sampling techniques. The measurement used in this study is a short-form trait emotional intelligence questionnaire (TEIQUE-SF) scale with an alpha cronbach coefficient of 0.981 and a forgiveness scale of 0.935. The results of the study showed a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and proven forgiveness of a significant (2-tailed) result of 0.048 (p 0.05). However, the results of the analysis also showed that there was no difference in the level of emotional intelligence and forgiveness among students studying in Bangka Belitung and Central Java. The results also showed no difference in forgiveness between students from Central Java Province and Bangka Belitung Province with a probability value of forgiveness variable (sig.) of 0.467 (p .05)

Abstract

The primary objectives of this research are to assess the religiosity of female students in the Quran memorization program at Pondok Pesantren Muntasyirul Ulum and to evaluate the improvement of their psychological well-being. This study seeks to fill the gap in existing literature by providing empirical evidence on how religious practices, specifically Quran memorization, influence the mental health of students in a pesantren setting. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research involved documentation, interviews, and observations with 31 selected female students. Data analysis was conducted through condensation, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, with data validity strengthened through triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings indicate that students exhibit high levels of religiosity across five key dimensions: belief, practice, knowledge, experience, and consequences. Additionally, significant improvements were noted in various aspects of psychological well-being, including self-acceptance, positive relations, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth. This research underscores the integral role of a supportive religious environment in fostering both spiritual and psychological well-being, offering valuable insights for the development of educational practices that holistically address the needs of students. The study contributes to the broader understanding of how religious education can enhance mental health and provides a foundation for future research in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between optimism and parental social support concerning students' academic achievement in English language learning. A psychological approach is employed in this study to comprehend how psychological factors such as optimism and parental social support can influence students' academic attainment in English. A quantitative research method involving 317 high school students as research subjects is utilized. The research findings reveal a positive correlation between students' level of optimism and their academic achievement in English language learning. Students with higher levels of optimism tend to attain better academic performance in English. Furthermore, the social support provided by parents is also found to have a positive association with students' academic achievement in English. Students who feel emotionally and practically supported by their parents tend to achieve higher scores in the English subject. This study also underscores the importance of psychological factors such as optimism and parental social support in enhancing students' academic achievement in English. The practical implications of these findings highlight the significance of emotionally supporting students and providing concrete support in the process of English language learning. Educators and parents can play an active role in motivating students and creating a supportive environment to enhance students' academic achievement in English. This research also contributes significantly to understanding the factors influencing students' academic achievement in English language learning and provides guidance for the development of effective intervention strategies in educational contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of gratitude on students' academic flow at MAN 2 Hulu Sungai Tengah. Academic flow, defined as a state of total immersion and enjoyment in tasks, is essential for students’ engagement and concentration. However, many students struggle to achieve this state consistently. Gratitude, a key aspect in positive psychology, is believed to enhance emotional stability, which can support academic flow. Employing a quantitative method with survey and questionnaire tools, this study sampled 70 students aged 15 to 18. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Findings reveal a significant positive relationship between gratitude and academic flow, with gratitude accounting for 66.4% of the variance in academic flow (R² = 0.664). These results highlight that gratitude may foster a positive emotional state conducive to focused learning. This research offers insights for Islamic education, suggesting that cultivating gratitude in students can potentially enhance their academic experiences and outcomes.
