Abstract

Student learning motivation is influenced by the state of the classroom climate. This journal will discuss the meta-analysis of the effect of classroom climate on student learning motivation by comparing the correlation coefficient (r) values in existing research. This study aims to analyze the relationship between classroom climate and student learning motivation based on the grouping of correlation coefficient values consisting of very low, low, medium, strong, and very strong categories based on existing studies. The research carried out starts from the formulation of the topic of the problem, after which it compares the results of relevant research to be analyzed. Meanwhile, the method used is meta-analysis, which is a method that involves the use of secondary data from previous research results by searching journals through Research Gate and Google Scholar. Then proceed with analyzing the product-moment correlation category of the research results found based on the percentage presented in the form of a statistical diagram. From the search results, 12 journals were obtained, consisting of 3 international journals and 9 national journals. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, 34% of the journals showed a strong mutual influence relationship between classroom climate and student learning motivation. Building a conducive learning atmosphere is the responsibility of the teacher. With careful lesson planning, a comfortable physical classroom setting, and the creation of a positive socio-emotional climate, teachers can help students learn effectively and increase their motivation to learn so they can reach their full potential.

Abstract

Knowledge of curriculum management is crucial in determining the direction of education. Managing the pesantren curriculum is one of the key foundations for improving students' Arabic language skills. Therefore, research on pesantren-based curriculum management should be conducted. This study aims to understand the general concepts, characteristics, and scope of curriculum management in general and pesantren-based curriculum management. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with field research. The primary data for this study was obtained from Madrasah Aliyah Attanwir Bojonegoro, while secondary data was sourced from relevant literature. The purpose of this research is to identify the concepts, characteristics, and implementation of pesantren-based curriculum management in enhancing students' Arabic language skills. After conducting an in-depth analysis, this study found that the concept of pesantren curriculum management still adheres to the basic principles of general curriculum management, but there are differences in the objectives, which focus more on the curriculum of Arabic language learning, and Islamic studies. In its implementation, the pesantren curriculum management at Madrasah Aliyah Attanwir Bojonegoro adopts a semi-modern pesantren curriculum, thus positively impacting students' Arabic language learning. Moreover, the semi-modern pesantren curriculum also enhances students' Arabic language skills both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

Sexual deviance among students is a serious challenge in today's world of Education. This study aims to evaluate and detail the implementation of the book "Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam" in SMK Al-Ikhlas as an effort to deal with sexual perversion among students. The research method used is a qualitative approach by observing, interviewing, and analyzing documents related to the implementation of the book in schools. The results obtained are (1) deviant behavior of adolescents in SMK Al-Ikhlas of particular concern is the deviation of sexual behavior in the form of excessive courtship, verbal-nonverbal sexual harassment, viewing and storing pornographic videos that affect one of the students who are pregnant out of wedlock. (2) the development process of learning the book of Tarbiyatul Aulad at SMK Al-Ikhlas began in 2018, with the flow of the school formulating problem-solving, determining the books used, determining the methods used, determining the lessons to be made collaboration, ensuring the contents of the book can be applied effectively, involving parents in the process, seeing the challenges and obstacles in the process, involving all teachers and staff employees as effective facilitators, and periodic evaluation and review. (3) the implications of the implementation of the book of Tarbiyatul Aulad in deciding deviant behavior among adolescents SMK Al-Ikhlas very successful and got a lot of positive responses from various parties and will be evaluated and defended as an alternative character education material in practical, theoretical, philosophical and academic for students SMK Al-Ikhlas and other teenagers in general

Abstract

To improve the discipline of teachers, a brave head of school and forward-thinking is very important to motivate teachers so that teachers in educational institutions are more disciplined. Then a teacher must be cylindrical so that the student can follow the teacher's example. In some cases, researchers observed that the researchers wanted to research how the head of the school's strategy in motivating teachers to improve the discipline of teachers at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This study describes the head of the school's approach to motivating teachers to improve teacher discipline. This research was done at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi. This research uses qualitative descriptive methodology with a case study approach. The data collection methods used in this study involve the use of observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Activities involved in data analysis include data minimization, data display, and conclusion/verification. The research is located in SMAN 3 Bukitinghigh. Research findings show that the head of school uses six ways to motivate teachers to improve teacher discipline. These strategies include inspiring techniques, leading by example, setting orders, giving supervision, issuing warnings or punishments, and offering incentives.

Abstract

Every student inherently possesses multiple intelligences across various types, though some are more developed than others. The current independent curriculum grants freedom to schools, teachers, and students to maximize their respective competencies. A challenge in the learning process is that many teachers in Indonesia do not yet understand the appropriate methods to highlight the strengths of each student's intelligence. Due to this lack of understanding regarding the implementation of multiple intelligences, teachers are not able to optimally develop each student's unique intelligences. This research aims to develop a product in the form of student worksheets (in Bahasa called LKPD) based on multiple intelligences within the independent curriculum, which is suitable for use in elementary schools. The research methodology adapts the Borg & Gall R&D method but only utilizes seven stages: data collection, planning, product draft development, field testing, product revision, final product, and dissemination. Based on the research findings, the multiple intelligences-based LKPD meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable for use in science education at the fourth-grade level of elementary school. This multiple intelligences-based LKPD can interpret various multiple intelligences, thereby optimizing the talents, interests, and intelligences of each individual character, which in turn will impact the overall quality of education.

Abstract

To achieve learning objectives, teachers must choose the right learning media to teach students the material. This study aims to determine the development of learning media, find out the results of feasibility tests, teacher and student responses, and find out the learning outcomes of students to the application of Economic Monopoly Board (ECOMO) learning media in social studies learning material for grade IV economic activities in elementary schools. The method used in this study uses the design and development method with the ADDIE research model uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Participants in this study were material expert validators, media experts and linguists, and involved 24 students and 1 grade IV teacher at elementary school 4 Cipaku. Based on the results of material expert validation, a score of 87.5%, media experts of 97.14%, linguists of 98%, teacher response questionnaires of 98%, student response questionnaires of 93.8% with the category of "very feasible". Student learning outcomes are calculated using the N-Gain score formula, a result of 0.856 with a high category and interpreted in the form of a score of 85.6% with an effective classification. Then, the Learning Media ECOMO in social studies learning material for grade IV economic activities in elementary schools is good, feasible, and effectively used in learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the application of technological literacy and the development of educational innovation on students' interest in learning at the Kerinci State Islamic Institute (IAIN). This research uses quantitative methods with a simple linear regression approach. Data was obtained from 120 respondents using a questionnaire. The sampling technique uses Random Sampling. The research results show that from the "F" value at a significance level of 5%, the Ftable is 22.70 and the Fcount is 59.148, which is much larger than the Ftable. Because Fcount > Ftable, the alternative hypothesis is accepted while the null hypothesis is rejected. Thus, there is a significant influence between the digital literacy variable (X1) and the development of educational innovation (X2) on interest in learning (Y).

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, socio-cultural changes occur rapidly, affecting various aspects of life, including education. This research aims to analyse how changes in values, norms, and social structures affect the education system and vice versa, and how education can act as an agent of socio-cultural change. The research method used is a literature study and secondary data analysis from various relevant sources. The results show that education has an important role in shaping individual character and personality to the demands of socio-cultural change. In addition, education has proven to be an important tool in facilitating social change, encouraging technological innovation, and strengthening social cohesion in the digital era. changes in curriculum, teaching methods, and educational policies are needed to face the challenges and needs of an ever-evolving society.

Abstract

Kitab Kuning is one of the primary sources in Islamic education, and it contains the teachings of Islam and Islamic law. However, the traditional methods used in Islamic boarding schools often do not effectively facilitate the understanding and mastery of the kitab kuning. The main objective of this research is to improve the ability to read kitab kuning through the application of the Arba'in method, which is assisted by Interactive PowerPoint media. This research also aims to measure the effectiveness of this method in helping students understand and master the kitab kuning. The research approach used is qualitative, while the research type is a case study, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. This research is expected to produce a more effective learning method in improving the ability to read the kitab kuning in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the research: The process is then continued by guided memorization of page 1 by the teacher, which has been read and explained, and uploaded on Facebook to be watched by parents, teachers, and friends. In the evaluation stage, students practice reading the kitab kuning in front of the teacher and answer some questions posed. The effectiveness of using the Arba'in method assisted a success rate of 85% among students or alumni of Nurul Huda 2 High School. Meanwhile, kitab kuning learning using the Arba'in method among students at the junior and senior high school levels achieved a success rate of 50%, attributed to constraints in electronic and social media for depositing memorization results from learning.

Abstract

This research discusses student management to improve the quality of students at SMA Darul The Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) How the implementation of student management at SMA Darul Qur'an The Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto can contribute to improving the quality of students; and 2) What factors affect the success of the implementation of student management in improving the quality of students in schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) The application of student management is very important to improve the quality of students because good management, schools can more easily achieve this quality improvement. 2) Factors that affect the success of the implementation of student management include a holistic and inclusive school approach supported by Islamic values, strong and visionary leadership, continuous support from leaders in the implementation of student management, active participation of students in decision-making, quality, and development of teacher staff, and close partnerships with parents.
