Abstract

Pesantren is one of the education centers that promotes the values of Islamic law, aiming to form a generation that is ready to fight in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith. Islamic boarding schools not only provide values education, but are also very effective in shaping children's character. The parenting pattern is a way of providing care to shape the character of the younger generation with good character and strong personalities. However, the current condition of the nation's character often deviates from the values of Pancasila. In an era that lacks morals, Islamic boarding schools are the main solution for parents to educate their children to become noble individuals. Al-Muqoddasah Islamic Boarding School seeks to guide, foster, and educate students to maintain good character. This study aims to analyze the parenting patterns of adolescent students in Islamic character building at Al-Muqoddasah Islamic Boarding School in Ponorogo. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the parenting pattern at Al-Muqoddasah Islamic Boarding School applies democratic parenting through direction, training, assignment, habituation, supervision, and uswatun hasanah. Special programs every Monday night, such as the study of fiqh, hadith, mahfudzot, as well as tausyiah from senior teachers and seminars, support the formation of Islamic character. Supporting factors include role modeling, motivation, and a good environment while inhibiting factors include activities, friends, parents, intention to enter the hut, and emotional instability

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategies used by MA Ulul Albab to improve the learning of Tahfidz al-Qur'an. This research uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques. Observation, Interview, and documentation. The research location is at Madrasah Aliyah Ulul Albab Lubuk Linggau. The research results explain that the strategy formulation carried out by MA Ulu Albab was the formulation of a vision and mission, formulation of school goals and objectives, and planning strategies for learning Al-Qur'an Tahfidz. The strategy evaluation carried out by MA Ulu Albab is context evaluation, evaluation, input, evaluation, process, and product evaluation. Context evaluation shows that the institution has clear goals in the Tahfidz learning program, the institution also provides adequate supervising teachers, for every ten students there is one teacher who guides the input evaluation shows that the institution already knows the students' abilities with the placement test, students who want to take The takhosus program must first test its capabilities to see if it can meet the memorization targets. The process evaluation shows that the suitability of learning time is considered good because it runs according to the planned schedule.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the Implementation of Merdeka Curriculum Management to Improve Education Quality. The research approach uses a qualitative approach descriptive method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Research results: Planning stage with 1) Identification of Local Needs, 2) Organizing a Curriculum Planning Team. 3) Socialization of Understanding the Independent Curriculum Concept. 4) Determination of CP and ATP Learning Objectives. 5) Selection of teaching materials and project modules: 5) Planning Extracurricular Activities and Practical Learning. 6) Teacher Training. 7) Student and Community Engagement. 8) Evaluation and Renewal. The organizing stage begins with the formation of a curriculum committee consisting of experienced teachers from various fields of study. This committee is tasked with planning and overseeing curriculum implementation by the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum at SMPN 154 Jakarta involves the application of intracurricular and co-curricular learning. Within this framework, project-based learning is organized according to the themes set by the government. The evaluation process of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum at SMPN 154 Jakarta is carried out by compiling learning assessments which serve as an evaluation tool to assess the success and effectiveness of the curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Effective conflict management is an important factor in developing work productivity in an institution. Conflict that is not handled well can disrupt collaboration, reduce motivation, and affect the quality of teaching and relationships between individuals. Therefore, this research aims to explore the implementation of conflict management as an effort to develop work productivity in Islamic educational institutions. This research uses library research, based on literature search methods or using content analysis methods to identify patterns, themes, and results related to the implementation of conflict management, and then develop and analyze them to reach conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of effective conflict management has a positive impact on work productivity in an Islamic educational institution. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the importance of implementing effective conflict management in Islamic educational institutions. By managing conflict well, educational institutions can increase work productivity, teaching quality, and student participation, and create positive relationships between teaching staff, students, and related parties. The implications of the results of this research provide better knowledge about the role of conflict management in the context of Islamic education and provide a basis for the development of effective conflict management strategies in these educational institutions.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong is currently experiencing a significant educational transformation with the introduction of the Independent Learning Curriculum. Educational supervision at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong is a key instrument in ensuring teacher understanding and conformity of teaching methods with the Independent Learning Curriculum. The author uses a quantitative research approach, a type of research that collects data through questions in the form of questionnaires with a sample of 65 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong. The data analysis technique used can determine the measurement scale of each variable, so that hypothesis testing can be carried out appropriately. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence between the principal's supervision on the understanding and implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong. The conclusions obtained are (1) Principal supervision influences the understanding of the independent learning curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong, this can be seen from the significance of principal supervision of 0.917, which means it is greater than the significance level used, namely 0.05; (2) The principal's supervision influences the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong. This can be seen from the significance of the principal's supervision of 0.829, which means it is greater than the significance level used, namely 0.05. It can also be seen from the coefficient of determination of principal supervision of 0.687, that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected; (3) There is an influence between the principal's supervision on the understanding and application of the independent learning curriculum at SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong, the principal's supervision has an effect of 84.1% on the teacher's understanding of the independent learning curriculum and the teacher's application of the independent learning curriculum by 68.7 %.

Abstract

The development of lecturer professionalism in this research refers to education and training based on Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning the duties and functions of lecturers in implementing the tri dharma of higher education, responding to social change, and the era of globalization. This research aims to analyze and discover the education Leadership Style in Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang, Higher Education Leadership Strategy in Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang Lecturer Responses to Developing Lecturer Professionalism at UNHASY Jombang This research uses a qualitative approach, type of case study with a multisite design (case study). Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes single-case and cross-case data analysis, using the Miles Huberman model of data analysis techniques: data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. Data checking for data validity is carried out through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this research are as follows; The leadership style applies formal, charismatic symbolic leadership, the indicators are recognition of legality, clear direction of vision, knowing one's strengths, and giving authority to subordinates. Leaders behave as: communicative, motivative, visionary educators, managers, and leaders; who can build an optimistic spirit, Leadership strategies through persuasive approaches, communication, motivators, delegation, education, training to internalize Islamic boarding school values, improving welfare, partnerships, optimizing lecturer administration SOP systems and infrastructure; building trust to produce subordinate staff who have loyalty and integrity; Response to the development of lecturer professionalism carried out by leaders; first, the lecturer's response supports the indicators: loyalty, need for achievement, doing the best, work is worship; secondly, the lecturer's response is not supportive, the indicator is that they are not happy: it is difficult to accept change, transition, maintaining bad old traditions, low levels of increasing one's potential. Based on the substantive findings above, the formal findings in this research are "Formal Charismatic Symbolic Leadership.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, innovation in education is the key to increasing the professionalism of educators. Educators are faced with the challenge of continuing to develop their skills to meet the demands of the times and the increasingly dynamic needs of students. Therefore, innovation in teaching methods, the use of technology in learning, and the development of relevant and adaptive curricula are very important. Three main aspects of innovation strategies need to be considered in increasing the professionalism of educators, namely: a) self-development strategies, b) scientific publication strategies, and c) innovative work strategies. This research uses the literature review method, identifying and highlighting relevant themes, and documenting important results, frameworks, and instruments from previous research that can serve as a basis for further work. This research aims to evaluate educational innovations in Indonesia to increase the professionalism of educators in the digital era. The research results show that many benefits can be obtained from educational innovation for the professionalism of educators and that several strategies are needed to improve educational innovation, such as self-development as an educator, scientific publications, and innovative work that trains the abilities of educators so that they can further develop in the future.

Abstract

Listening ability is receptive oral language ability, a simple morphological and syntactic ability where individuals can retell fairy tales or stories they have just listened to. Digital storytelling is telling stories or narratives using digital technology, such as video, animation, interactive applications, or social media. In digital storytelling, stories can be enriched with multimedia elements such as images, sound, music, and special effects that are impossible in traditional storytelling. The field facts found by researchers are that the listening skills of children aged 4-6 years still appear to be quite low based on the results of initial observations. This research aims to identify the listening abilities of young children through the use of digital storytelling videos. In the current digital era, traditional learning methods are starting to shift towards being more interactive and interesting for children. This study involved 3 children aged 4-6 years from various educational backgrounds in Kindergarten at Labora Islam Mulia Kindergarten. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through direct observation. Direct observation involves observing children as they listen to storytelling videos presented in class. How children respond to stories verbally (e.g., asking questions or making comments) and non-verbally (e.g., facial expressions, gestures). Conduct interviews with educators regarding teachers' views about the effectiveness of using video storytelling in improving children's listening skills, observing teachers about how children's listening skills are, and including the challenges they face and the strategies children use to understand stories. The research results showed a significant increase in children's listening abilities after using digital storytelling videos. Children are better able to understand stories, identify characters, and remember storylines better. In addition, children showed higher enthusiasm in the learning process and had better attention during storytelling sessions. This research concludes that digital storytelling videos are an effective tool for improving the listening skills of young children, and recommends their use in early childhood education curricula to support the optimal development of listening skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the 21st century has greatly affected education. In education, technology has become very important to support the teaching and learning process. Teachers play an important role in this, and they must have strong skills to make students want to learn. However, many teachers at SDN 03 Pakan Kurai still have difficulty using learning technology, which ultimately hinders the learning process. The focus of this descriptive qualitative research is how technology is used in learning in grade 5 of SDN 03 Pakan Kurai and how the digital school programme is assessed. This research uses the CIPP evaluation method with a descriptive qualitative approach oriented towards case studies. The results show that technology has been used well in learning overall. However, there are some major barriers. These include unstable internet networks, teachers' inability to use technology, and lack of variety in the use of learning applications. As a result, some students lack motivation to learn, which impacts on their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of the Role-playing method in learning material of Khalifa Umar bin Khattab in PAI subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Mondokan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects of the study included PAI teachers and grade VII students. The results showed that the use of the Role-playing method is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Cognitively, there was a significant increase from pre-cycle with an average value of 58.00 and a success percentage of 58.00%, as well as classical completeness of 40.00%, to cycle I with an average value of 69.33, a success percentage of 69.33%, and classical completeness of 66.67%, and cycle II with an average value of 76.22, a success percentage of 76.22%, and classical completeness of 93.33%. The affective aspect also increased from pre-cycle 50.00% to cycle II 80.55%, while the psychomotor aspect showed an increase from pre-cycle 52.00% to cycle II 82.92%. Learning outcomes on affective and psychomotor aspects have also met or exceeded KKM 65.
