Abstract

Critical thinking skills can be pursued in various ways, one of which is by applying innovative learning models. The purpose of this study was to examine how the Wordwall-assisted Project-Based Learning Model was applied to the gravity material for Class IV SDN Ciracas 10. There were 64 participants in this study: 32 from the experimental group IV-C and 32 from the control group IV-B. The data passed the normality test which was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk Liliefors distribution before being analyzed and the homogeneous test with Fisher's test with homogeneous results. Statistical results in this study the control class obtained 70.13 and the experimental class 79.78, which means that there was an influence on the research

Abstract

The main objective of the research is to analyze the effect of e-service quality, price and consumer trust on the loyalty of online transportation users. The research method uses quantitative research. Based on the results of data analysis, e-service quality, price and consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of online transportation users. The implications of this research confirms that efforts to provide satisfactory user experience, fast and efficient service, good communication, qualified drivers, effective problem solving, and create a good reputation, online transportation platforms can strengthen user loyalty.

Abstract

Roti gambang is a traditional Betawi food that has a high historical value. The study aims to identify the identity of the roti gambang as a traditional Betawi food and to show the attractiveness and interest of the public in consuming roti gambang as the Betawi traditional food. Descriptive qualitative research methods are used in this research with observational data collection techniques, library studies, interviews, and questionnaires. Research shows that Roti Gambang has existed since the Dutch colonial era but many people still do not know about it. However, the community has an interest and attraction in roti gambang so it has the potential to develop.

Abstract

Maritime Mandar sailor in kalindaqdaq with semiotic trichotomy approach (icon, index, and symbol) by Charles Sanders Peirce.This study aims to determine the maritime icons, indices, and symbols of Mandar seafarers in maritime-themed kalindaqdaq. This type of research uses qualitative methods with applying Pierce's semiotic theory. In this study, the objects to be studied are 10 kalindaqdaq texts. The results of the study conclude that in the Kalindaqdaq Mandar with a maritime theme, there is a very important meaning in the delivery of kalindaqdaq. The meaning contains moral messages, conveys many messages of love, and information about the anatomy of the shape of the boat.

Abstract

Maintaining a culture s existence is not easy, the existence of a culture-based organization becomes essential for its existence. This makes the Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia (WHDI) Organization have a role in maintaining the existence of Balinese culture. The aim of this research is to find out how the background, contribution, and impact of the WHDI organization on the existence of Bali culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with observational data collection techniques, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. The results of this study show that the existence of the Wanita Indonesian Hindu Dharma organization has an impact on the Bali culture s existence through programs run from the respective fields ranging from social, cultural, religious, economic, and organizational.

Abstract

The ability to explain material to students is one of the basic teaching skills that must be mastered by a teacher. Teachers must be familiar with various learning strategies in order to choose the one that is most effective for teaching their students. The purpose of this research is to find out how the teacher s strategy in explaining the material in order to increase the value of student subjects. This study used qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the teachers basic teaching skills in explaining there are several strategies that are carried out, namely the teacher explains by attracting students attention, the teacher behaves humorously and is not rigid in starting learning, the teacher explains the learning objectives, the teacher carries out learning activities outdoors, the teacher changes the learning atmosphere, the teacher applies various learning models and methods. It is hoped that the results of this research can be useful for the academic world and of course also for society and can be used as relevant reference material.

Abstract

The use of cartoons and comic strips in cross-cultural and language instruction has significant advantages for Thai students' learning abilities. This study aims to: (1) determine Thai students at Muhamadiyah University in Jember's level of Indonesian comprehension through the use of cartoon and comic strip learning materials; ( 2) Using cartoons and comic strips as educational tools to introduce Thai students at Muhamadiyah University of Jember to Indonesian culture; 3) Provide a description of the cartoon and comic strip formats utilized in this study; also (4) Portray the aftereffects of further developing language picking up utilizing animation and funny cartoon gaining media for understudies from Thailand at the Muhamadiyah College of Jember. Descriptive statistics and qualitative descriptive analysis methods were used to analyze the data. The study's findings assign a BIPA level to Thai students enrolled at Muhammadiyah University of Jember. Additionally, the trial's findings demonstrate a rise in Indonesian language proficiency and cross-cultural awareness.

Abstract

Tourism development at the Ngalang River Geosite has not been maximized. The purpose of this study is to find the new concept of tourism development in the region. The method used is deductive research which is qualitative in nature carried out in a descriptive which is exploratory in nature. The result of the research is the concept of geosciene center which refers to geotourism in Kali Ngalang. This concept emphasizes zoning aspects which are important for science and education.

Abstract

The researcher’s search in the field is expected that the listeners and chanters of dzikir appreciate the contents of Dikili that are chanted. But in reality, many people let the dzikir singers because they do not understand what the value and meaning contained in Dikili, therefore. The study seeks to depict the community’s perception of local wisdom value symbols in the Dikili tradition of Patilanggio. District utilizing qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The sources of data are the Dikili singers and respondents. The study revealed a nearly equal distribution of community acceptance towards the significance of the symbol of local wisdom’s value in the Dikili tradition of Patilanggio subdistrict with 54,59% agreeing and 45,41% disagreeing, the influential factors that affected the community’s acceptance of the meaning and value of local wisdom in the mentioned tradition were their level of knowledge and age. The study’s findings indicate that the residents of Patilanggio subdistrict mostly concur regarding the symbolism and local wisdom values

Abstract

This article discusses the process of derivational affixation in both English and Arabic. It aims to describe the affix derivation process, which results in changes in the meaning of some words attached by affixes. This is a qualitative research and all examples of words attached by affixes come from books, dictionaries, and other sources. The data collection results show that English and Arabic are very productive in the formation of new words when these words are attached by affixes, which can also cause changes in meaning. The obvious distinction between English and Arabic is in the root word. In Arabic, all basic words are verbs, whereas in English, the basic words that affixes can attach to are verbs, nouns, and adjectives.
