Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Gender and Product Design on Purchase Decisions of Scoopy motorcycles in Mekar Sari Village. The research method used is a quantitative approach with SmartPLS version 3.0. Questionnaires were distributed to 96 respondents. The data analysis methods used in this study include the measurement model (outer model), which consists of validity and reliability tests, and the structural model (inner model), which includes the coefficient of determination (r²) and hypothesis testing using the t-test and f-test (simultaneous test). The results from SmartPLS 3.0 in this study indicate that: Gender influences the purchase decision of Scoopy motorcycles in Mekar Sari Village. Design influences the purchase decision of Scoopy motorcycles in Mekar Sari Village. Gender and product design both influence the purchase decision of Scoopy motorcycles in Mekar Sari Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Employee Engagement and Work Life Balance on employee performance through job satisfaction. The variables studied include Employee Engagement and Work Life Balance as independent variables, Employee performance as dependent variables, and job satisfaction as intervening variables. The study was conducted on employees of PTPN VI Kebun Pabatu, Dolok Merawan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The number of research samples was 51 people, determined using the Taro Yamane formula. This study uses primary data obtained by using questionnaires distributed to employees. The data analyzed using the path analysis method. The results of the study showed that Employee Engagement did not have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, while Work-Life Balance had a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Furthermore, Employee Engagement was proven to have a significant effect on Employee Performance, while Work-Life Balance did not have a significant effect on Employee Performance. This study also found that Job Satisfaction had a significant effect on Employee Performance. In addition, Job Satisfaction was able to mediate the effect of Employee Engagement on Performance, but was unable to mediate the effect of Work-Life Balance on Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of cultural factors, social factors, and perception factors in making purchasing decisions for Sedaap instat noodle products. The basic method of this research is quantitative method. The location determination in this study was carried out purposively, namely at the Modern Market in Sukoharjo Regency. Data collection methods are carried out by observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) software version 21. The results of this study indicate that cultural factor variable has a negative and insignificant relationship to the purchasing decision of branded instant noodle products “sedaap”. The social factor variable has a positive and significant relationship to th purchasing decision of the “sedaap” brand instant noodle product. The perception factor variable has a positive and significant relationship to the “sedaap” instant noodle purchasing decision. Keywords : Consumer Behavior, Modern Market, Instant Noodles

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of vocabulary size on students' ability to comprehend TOEFL Reading Comprehension texts among Accounting students at Institut Teknologi Bisnis AAS Indonesia. A quantitative method with a correlational approach was employed in this research. The sample consisted of 40 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using two instruments: the Vocabulary Size Test (VST) to measure students' vocabulary knowledge and the Reading Comprehension scores from the TOEFL Prediction Test to assess their reading comprehension ability. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, which revealed a positive and significant relationship between vocabulary size and TOEFL Reading Comprehension scores, with a correlation coefficient of 0.613 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that students with a larger vocabulary size tend to achieve higher performance in understanding academic English texts. This research provides practical implications for developing English learning strategies, particularly vocabulary enhancement programs to help students achieve optimal results in TOEFL tests. Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of the implementation of environmental accounting in PTPN IV Unit Bah Butong with the basic framework of PSAK 1 of 2013 and to determine the obstacles of environmental accounting as a form of social responsibility to the community, especially in waste management and the environment. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis method used in this study is descriptive comparative, meaning that researchers describe the findings of the data obtained. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) PTPN IV Unit Bah Butong is in accordance with PSAK No. 1 of 2013 paragraphs 82 and 94, correctly recognized for waste management cost items and waste processing cost measurements in accordance with PSAK No. 1 of 2013 paragraphs 99 and 101 where in the presentation of waste processing costs PTPN IV Unit Bah Butong is in accordance with a clear presentation in the financial position. PTPN IV Bah Butong Unit should create its own account for all activities related to waste management costs, so that the company knows how much the costs are covered for the waste management.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of the variables of leadership style, level of professionalism, ethics, and workload on the performance of employees at the Department of Education and Culture of Sukoharjo Regency. This research was conducted at the Department of Education and Culture of Sukoharjo Regency. It is a correlational study, which seeks to explain asymmetric relationships among the variables studied. The research sample consisted of 98 employees of the Department of Education of Sukoharjo Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include multiple regression analysis, F-test, t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study show that leadership style, level of professionalism, ethics, and workload have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Department of Education and Culture of Sukoharjo Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The higher the leadership style quality, professionalism, ethics, and workload, the better the performance of the employees at the Sukoharjo Regency Education Department. Abstract

The problem formulation in this study is as follows does compensation affect teacher performance?, does motivation affect teacher performance?, does organizational culture affect teacher performance?, does the work environment affect teacher performance?. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The research was conducted at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. A total of 46 respondents were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research findings indicate that compensation does not have a significant effect on teacher performance. This suggests that the teachers at SMPIT Nur Hidayah are not primarily driven by financial factors in carrying out their duties. Their performance tends to remain consistent despite differences or changes in the compensation they receive. Motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance. High motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, has been proven to increase teachers’ work enthusiasm, sense of responsibility, and dedication in the learning process. Organizational culture also significantly affects teacher performance. A work culture that is religious, cooperative, and aligned with the school’s vision and mission has been shown to support teachers in improving their performance, both in teaching and in guiding students. The work environment does not have a significant effect on teacher performance. This may be due to the fact that the school’s work environment is generally perceived as sufficiently supportive, and thus is not a determining factor in the improvement or decline of teacher performance. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of principal leadership behavior on teacher loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah. To examine and analyze the influence of work environment on teacher loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah. To examine and analyze the influence of job satisfaction on teacher loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah. To examine and analyze the influence of work compensation on teacher loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The location of this research was conducted at SMA IT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo. The sample consisted of 81 people or respondents. The sampling technique was total sampling technique (census). The results of this research are: The t-test related to Leadership Behavior (X1) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Sukoharjo obtained results t count = 9.290 > t table = 1.991, so there is an influence between Leadership Behavior (X1) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y). The t-test related to Work Environment (X2) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y) obtained results t count = 6.667 > t table = 1.991, so there is an influence between Work Environment (X2) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y). The t-test related to Work Motivation (X3) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y) obtained results t count = 3.053 > t table = 1.991, so there is an influence between Leadership Behavior (X1) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y). The t-test related to Compensation (X4) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y) obtained results t count for Compensation (X4) = 4.417 > t table = 1.991, so there is an influence between Compensation (X4) on Teacher Loyalty at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo (Y). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how price, free shipping, and cashback affect TikTok Shop on impulsive buying behavior of consumers in Surakarta City. The sample used in this study consisted of 100 respondents who had made at least one purchase through the TikTok Shop app. Primary data from surveys was used in this investigation. The dependent variable in this study is impulsive buying, while the independent factors are cashback, price, and free shipping. The sampling technique used instrument testing, With the aid of SPSS version 26, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (f-test & t-test), and R2 coefficient of determination test were conducted. The study's findings indicate that the factors of price, free shipping, and cashback have a favorable and substantial impact on Impulsive Buying among TikTok Shop marketplace users in Surakarta City.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore how knowledge regarding QRIS, the ease with which it can be accessed, and users’ perceptions of its usefulness shape the interest of Generation Z university students in Yogyakarta to use QRIS for financial transactions. This investigation uses a quantitative method, gathering first-hand data through a questionnaire distributed to 100 university students belonging to Gen Z in Yogyakarta. The data were then processed using multiple linear regression techniques. The analysis indicates that familiarity with QRIS significantly boosts students' willingness to use it. Likewise, both the simplicity of access and perceived utility play crucial roles in increasing their interest. These findings underline the need to raise awareness, improve accessibility, and amplify the perceived advantages of QRIS in order to promote its broader use among today’s digital-native youth.
