<![CDATA[This activity is entitled "Mendeley Training for Teachers and Prospective PAUD Teachers in Jayapura City". The target number who attended the activity was 24 people. The purpose of this activity is to facilitate and train teachers and prospective PAUD teachers in Jayapura City to be able to use Mendeley as a reference manager. The methods applied in this training are presentations, questions and answers, and hands-on practice. In carrying out this activity, the skills and competencies developed are the ability to manage references in scientific writing and the ability to make citations. Based on the results of the evaluation carried out, data were obtained showing that of the 24 participants, there were 20 participants (83.33%) who were in the very good criteria, 3 participants (12.5%) were in the good criteria, and 1 participant (4 ,17%) is in the criteria of good enough. This shows that this training activity can improve the ability and competence of participants in using Mendeley as a reference manager.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the strategies to improve the mothers' well-being of mothers and new-borns is optimizing the first 1000 days after birth starting from preparation for pregnancy. By optimizing pregnancy preparation, mothers are expected to have a healthy pregnancy which will affect the outcome of their pregnancy. The community service aimed to educate the public, including health care staff in Indonesia as main providers of maternal health in order to assist mothers and their partners in preparing for their pregnancy. The output of this community service is the knowledge transfer about pregnancy preparation and pregnancy period in order to optimize the First 1000 Days. The results showed that the majority of participants consisted of midwives, indicating that midwives were still enthusiastic about enhancing their knowledge regarding pregnancy. The evaluation showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with the topic provided. Similar community service is recommended to be implemented in a small scale of community group in order to have an intensive education.]]>

<![CDATA[Healthy homes are characterized by a healthy environment and accompanied by supporting facilities such as the availability of good air sources, besides that the behavior of residents in creating healthy homes is also one of the most important factors. Tanobato Village and Pasar Lama are the locations for the 2022 PKM held by pharmacy, Garut University. One of the flagship programs carried out by the PKM team is to provide education through socialization on how to create a healthy home in order to create a society that is physically and mentally healthy. The activity was preceded by a pre-test, material debriefing both directly and virtual counseling, and post-test to find out the extent to which residents' knowledge of the material provided was increased. The results of the counseling and survey showed that as many as 84 (73.3%) houses belonged to the category of decent houses in terms of physical conditions, a total of 74 (64.9%) houses based on basic sanitation including healthy house criteria, and 84 (73.3%) residents have the behavior to create a healthy home. Through this activity, awareness of the community's awareness to create a healthy home is getting higher.]]>

<![CDATA[Land yard can still be used optimally to fulfill family nutrition. For the people of Daya Makmur Village, plant cultivation in the yard is a common thing that has been done for a long time. But over time, there was a change in habits in rural communities, where they began to leave the activity of growing vegetables in their yards. In fact, most of the yard was left empty and overgrown with grass. The purpose of this service activity is to regenerate public interest and awareness in cultivating vegetables in the yard to meet family nutrition. The method of activities carried out is survey, counseling and discussion. From the results of the activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that the people of Daya Makmur Village already know the techniques of cultivating vegetable crops and the community is motivated again to plant vegetables in their yards.]]>

<![CDATA[Solok is one of the areas in the Province of West Sumatra, Indonesia which is in a very strategic location, located at the intersection of roads between provinces and between districts/cities in West Sumatra. However, the results of the Solok City teacher competency test in 2020 are still low. Coupled with the existence of an independent learning policy that makes teachers and policy makers nervous. This is because many teachers do not understand how to prepare RPP (learning implementation plans) based on independent learning policies and their teaching materials. And for this region there has been no training for teachers on the preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials based on the independent learning policy.The solution to overcome this problem is to conduct training and direct guidance on the preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials based on independent learning policies for teachers. The technical guidance carried out involves education and learning experts. First, will be the transfer of knowledge about the policy of independent learning to teachers. Furthermore, the teachers will be guided and assisted to make plans for implementing learning and teaching materials based on independent learning. In this technical guidance, teachers will also be guided to be able to integrate technology in content creation, find teaching materials online, get interactive learning media used for learning implementation plans as guidelines in carrying out learning. lesson plans and semester learning plans.]]>

<![CDATA[The Community Service Program was implemented with partners of the governments of Padukuhan Beneran, Purwobinangun, Pakem and the Students Community Service Program. The Community Service Program Team assisted the Padukuhan Beneran community in utilizing their yard for planting vegetables in pots. This is done to achieve food security in the form of the community being in a position where food needs for their households are adequately met. The goal of this Community Service Program is to encourage the community to make good use of their yards in order to maintain family food self-sufficiency. Yard land utilization is a strategy for increasing food independence because yard land has the potential to provide family food. This Service Program consists of three activities: counseling on community food security, counseling on the use of yard land for vegetable cultivation, and training on planting vegetables in pots.]]>

<![CDATA[The density of flies outside the house in settlements around TPA Air Cold which tends to be high can cause environmental-based diseases, especially diarrhea. Diarrhea is a threat to the community in the landfill area because the seeds of the disease can be carried by flies from the garbage and then contaminate food. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and motivation of the community in the Air Cold TPA area of Padang City in preventing diarrheal diseases. The service method used is providing education through counseling activities, discussions, and holding questions and answers about the material to get door prizes. Participants in this activity include people who live in the TPA area, totaling 160 people. The results obtained in this activity showed encouraging things because the participants responded positively and were very enthusiastic about participating in the counseling activities. Based on the results of the discussion, it was also seen that there was a change in the form of increasing participants' knowledge, this was proven by the correct answers given by the participants in the questions and answer session.]]>

<![CDATA[Since the Government launched the prototype curriculum in 2022, the need for integration of project-based learning models into student worksheets (LKPD) has become very important. In fact, there are still many science teachers in Langsa City who do not use LKPD, especially LKPD based on PjBL (Project based learning). Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide training and assistance in the preparation of PjBL-based LKPD. The method used is the presentation method and guided exercises in the form of mentoring during the practice of preparing PjBL-based LKPD. At the training stage, participants are provided with 16 meeting hours (JP) of materials related to the concept of PjBL-based LKPD, patterns and standards for the preparation of PjBL-based LKPD. Then in the mentoring stage, the teacher is guided by a service team for 16 meeting hours to compile PjBL-based LKPD, which is guided by aspects of appearance, content, and presentation as well as objectives and conclusions. The results of the design were evaluated jointly through a question and answer response after the results of each group's work were presented.]]>

<![CDATA[Community Service Activities are carried out with Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) partners in the Ngawi Regency environment. Service activities are carried out in the method of technical guidance for BUM Desa accounting and assistance in preparing financial reports. From the evaluation of technical guidance activities, it is known that guidance activities provide an increase in the average test scores of activity participants. Technical guidance activities have been carried out since the introduction of the BUM Desa financial report, the financial report preparation cycle and simulation of the preparation of financial statements. Participants are trained since recognizing transactions, analyzing transaction evidence, recording journals, posting ledgers, compiling trial balances, and compiling BUM Desa financial reports. The simulation was carried out either manually or using a Microsoft Excel-based application. During the discussion process, participants also conveyed many transaction cases they faced in accordance with the BUMDesa business field. The results of this community service activity can provide added value to teaching activities and community service activities in the same field regarding the need for early partner identification, a combination of learning models, and the use of more real examples of transactions as case-based studies.]]>

<![CDATA[STEM education is a way out to create quality and competitive human resources in the 21st century world of work. However, the current STEM movement in Indonesia is still minimal. This is partly due to the lack of understanding of teachers about STEM education itself. Obtained from the results of interviews with the head of the Langsa City High School Physics MGMP, teachers do not yet know how to integrate STEM into learning, and there are no workshops or trainings that provide knowledge about STEM. Therefore, in this activity, a workshop by STEM integration training in Physics learning will be held for teachers in the Physics MGMP (Senior High School) group at Langsa City. Activities are carried out by providing STEM-related materials, preparing STEM-based learning tools by teachers, and evaluating activities. Measurement of the achievement of this activity is carried out through data collection using a questionnaire. The results from this training activity are an increase in the understanding of Physics teachers about the concept of STEM education and the selection of models for STEM learning.]]>
