Abstract

This training aims to provide knowledge, understanding, and skill to participants about preparing business plans and starting new businesses by utilizing social media. Participants are expected to be able to find breakthroughs in creating job opportunities for themselves and others during the Covid-19 pandemic. This training was attended by 24 participants consisting of members of the Tangerang Mandiri Student Community and housewives. The method of implementing the activities includes the stages of preparation, implementation, and reporting. While the technique of implementing training activities is online. The results of this training activity indicated that the participants were quite satisfied with this training activity. This activity is sufficient to contribute to participants in increasing knowledge, understanding, and skills in establishing new digital-based MSMEs businesses, compiling simple business plans, and being able to find business opportunities. Therefore, in the future, further activities are needed, namely assistance activities for the establishment of new businesses (MSMEs) based on digital and how to design digital marketing using social media.

Abstract

The current paradigm shift in learning has resulted in demands for increased teacher competence, especially in the field of information technology. The Covid pandemic has caused a change from face-to-face learning to online learning. Learning Management System (LMS) is a platform to support online learning. The Open University Lecturer Community Service Program is the development of the Learning Management System (LMS) of SMAN 2 Bogor and online learning training with 85 teachers participating. The first stage of the LMS SMAN 2 Bogor platform that has been developed includes features a) attendance list; (b) learning modules; (c) value; (d) assignment assessment, and (e) feedback. LMS SMAN 2 Bogor will then be developed again in the community service program the following year.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the development of self-potential is felt by various groups, especially the younger generation. This is because all schools carry out online learning so that students and students tend to have difficulty in learning and are more likely to be lazy. This is one of the driving forces for the younger generation so that they are less able to develop their potential. In interviews that the author has conducted in Pemecutan Kaja Village, it turns out that there are still many young people who want to help their parents to earn extra income and many of them don't know what to do. Even though they have a lot of potential enough to be used for entrepreneurship, such as making cakes, making snacks, making various types of fast food, opening writing services or typing services, making crafts, and so on. Through their potential, they will tend to be easier in entrepreneurship. In addition to developing self-potential, entrepreneurship in accordance with the potential, interests, and desires will also feel more fun and easier to develop a business. The purpose of this activity is to find out strategies for empowering the potential of the younger generation in developing an entrepreneurial spirit in Pemecutan Kaja Village. The method used in this service is analyzing the community situation, identifying problems, setting work goals, setting problem solving plans, taking social approaches, carrying out activities, and evaluating related activities that have been carried out. From the service carried out, three young people started to open online-based businesses according to their abilities. The businesses include beef jerky, Balinese order, and crispy snacks. These efforts are carried out through e-commerce and social media to facilitate promotion and maintain health protocols.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is very important in the development of the digital business world in Indonesia, which is currently in a state of the covid pandemic. This community service aims to provide training and digital marketing assistance to the home industry in the village of Bandang Daja to be able to improve the economy of the village community, it is necessary to have knowledge about the use of digital marketing applications in this case Canva and social media. This service method is carried out by counseling, discussing, asking questions and continuing with direct practice of using the application. From the results of this activity, the response of the Home Industry owner to the delivery of the material was 80% very understanding and 20% understood. While at the practice stage, the response of the Home Industry owner to the practice session was 90% very understanding and 10% understood. With this training, it is hoped that it can improve the entrepreneurial spirit during the current covid pandemic and have a positive influence on the knowledge of Home Industry owners and their application in digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to assist the teaching and learning process at Ekasari Kindergarten with digital learning methods. This learning process needs to be carried out because of the determination of distance learning policies due to the covid 19 pandemic. The method or stage of service is by providing assistance and also psychoeducation which is carried out for approximately 1 month to solve the partner's problems. The work programs carried out are non-training psychoeducation, making learning journals, helping the teaching and learning process to students, providing assistance to teachers and guardians of students regarding the use of digital media in the learning process, and psychoeducation which is carried out directly by lecturers as well as parenting students' parents. The result of this activity is that the understanding of partners regarding digital learning has increased and helps the current teaching and learning process, so that it can maximize learning and also the material that will be delivered to students. In addition, this understanding of digital learning can be useful for the sustainability of education in subsequent schools.

Abstract

Day to day, the volume of plastic waste in Indonesia is increasing along with the increasing number of products and people's consumption patterns. According to data in 2021, the total national waste was 68.5 million tons. The main thing that must be done to overcome the case is to reduce the volume of plastic waste from its source through community empowerment about the importance of caring for environmental cleanliness. Problems regarding the management of plastic waste in the islands of South Siberut, among others, most (83.3%) of the community still do not separate organic and inorganic waste. Second, most (61.1%) of the community have not separated plastic waste. Furthermore, most people (83.3%) have never made compost from household waste. Finally, most (77.8%) of the people shopping at the market have not brought their own shopping bags. This community service activity is carried out through lecture presentation methods, discussions and workshops. This activity aims to increase public awareness about the dangers of plastic waste, and transform people's behavior to be able to manage the flow of plastic waste independently. From the results of the community service program that has been carried out, there has been an increase in public interest in the context of changing behavior in managing plastic waste.

Abstract

Bonyoh Village trying to be touritm village with natural potential of orange plantations. The potential is not accompanied by human resources, this is due to lack of tourism awareness and knowledge regarding management of tourism potential. Problems faced by Bonyoh Village are the absence of a driving agency to increase the role of the community in tourism potential, lack knowledge of processing orange into selling value products and their marketing. Based on these problems, service activities implemented in the formation of Pokdarwis by including training on the development of citrus plantation businesses and their marketing as well as training on tourism villages, ticketing, guiding and promoting. The method used is discussion, mentoring and training and development. Evaluation show that 100% of Pokdarwis formation realized, 2 people can process them into products, 1 person can do marketing on social media and 50% of participants' knowledge increases regarding tourist villages, ticketing, guiding and promoting towards a new Tourism Village in Bangli Regency.

Abstract

The teacher can communicate ideas, ideas, results from research through scientific work. Teachers who are able to write scientific papers are the main thing in developing as professional teachers, but in fact there are still many teachers who have low knowledge about writing scientific papers, this is due to the lack of teacher creativity in developing the results of activities carried out in the classroom. The purpose of the service activities carried out is to provide knowledge and writing skills of PAUD teachers of the KKG Tulip Cluster, Banjar Regency regarding the writing of scientific papers. This method of service is through lectures, questions and answers and discussions of problem analysis, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. Mentoring activities are carried out online through zoom cloud meetings. The participants were 29 PAUD teachers of the Tulip Cluster, Banjar Regency. The results of the training showed that participants were able to write scientific papers properly and precisely, at the end of the activity participants produced scientific papers.

Abstract

West Sumatra is one of the disaster-prone areas in Indonesia, due to geographical, climatic, geological and other factors. Padang Pariaman is one area that is often affected by disasters, especially earthquakes. One of the vulnerable groups directly affected by the disaster is school-age children. Psychological problems in school-age children can affect life in the future. This area-based community service activity aims to increase independence, increase health status and community welfare by increasing the ability of school-age children to reduce the prevention of post-disaster psychosocial problems through group supportive therapy and Play Therapy. The target of this activity is school-age children and teachers, totaling 37 people. This activity is carried out from May to November 2021 in Padang Pariaman. The method of activity is education and simulation divided into three stages: (1) planning stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) evaluation stage. There is an increase in the understanding and skills of the community, especially school-age children in the prevention of post-disaster psychosocial problems, as well as an increase in the network of collaboration between the Health Polytechnic, the Ministry of Health of Padang and the District Government of Padang Pariaman.
