Abstract

Based on the results of the interviews, information was found that the building of the congregation's faith and the physical construction of the church were issues faced by the GMIT Efata Oetfo congregation. The building of the faith of the congregation in question is related to the ministry, among others: 1). The absence of categorical worship of the fathers; 2). The absence of youth categorical worship; 3). Mothers are less active in categorical worship. The physical development in question is related to the completion of the construction of the church building, in this case the installation of ceramics that has not been carried out. Responding to these issues, the PKM implementation team conducted a needs analysis and found a solution to the problem, namely by conducting seminars and installing ceramics. The objectives to be achieved in this PKM activity are: 1). PKM participants can gain some knowledge as a form of education that can open their horizons of thinking about the importance of building faith through worship in service. The participants were also able to gain some knowledge about the role of the church in the economic empowerment of the congregation as a strategic way to increase the income of the congregation; 2). The church building of the GMIT Efata Oetfo congregation is progressing. The method of implementing the activity consists of several stages, namely: 1). Welcoming and reception of the congregation; 2). Opening; 3) Implementation of Seminar Activities; 4). Implementation of Ceramic Installation Activities; 5). Closing; 6). Activity Evaluation.

Abstract

Online learning (on the network) is a demand in the 4.0 era (current industrial revolution. This is because of the development of technology and information so that learning must be carried out using technology. In addition, the Covid-19 outbreak gave birth to implementation policies learning carried out at home using online methods. For this reason, teachers are required tohave today's digital literacy competencies in order to be able to do online learning. However, the current problem is that there are still many teachers who do not understand technology digital, namely 97.5% of teachers. This is as known from the results of interviews in Malalak District Agam Regency, West Sumatra that there are still many teachers who have not been able to implement learning using digital technology. And also there are still many teachers who are not able to carry out online learning. There are still many teachers who have not been able to evaluate online learning. The solution to overcome these problems is to transfer knowledge through online learning guidance for teachers. The first step is to do testing digital literacy competence of teachers through a questionnaire. After that give understanding to the teacher about online learning. Then the next stage is conducting technical guidance on the manufacture of innovative and interactive learning media for learning. Next, technical guidance is carried out about the implementation of online learning evaluation for teachers. The last stage is to evaluate about the digital literacy competence of teachers regarding the implementation and evaluation of online learning using a questionnaire. The output of the results of this community service activity are scientific publications, namely: articles on Journals with ISSN / Proceedings of National journals, namely colloquium journals, video service activities, and publication in print/online mass media, namely the Haluan newspaper. And also activity report.

Abstract

Efforts to improve and improve the quality of the learning process cannot be separated from the role of professional teachers and principals. In the context of efforts to improve the quality of educational resources, especially teachers, it is necessary to carry out programmed and continuous supervision by school principals who also have competence in carrying out supervision. The purpose of this training is to provide knowledge and skills to school principals in implementing teacher category-based supervision. The method of implementing this training is through lectures, discussions, case studies, and assignment methods (recitation). Supervision competency improvement training in this proposal is grouped into 2 major activities, namely the delivery of material and guided assignments. Supervised assignments are carried out for three months after the training is given. In this guided assignment the school principal implements the supervision program documents that have been prepared at the training stage. During its implementation, the principal is guided by the service team and resource persons with an agreed schedule. Activity evaluation is carried out 3 times, namely before the main activity, during the process, and after the activity. Evaluation prior to core activities is carried out in the form of a pre-test. The results of the Pre-test and Post-Test of Solok city school principals showed that there was an increase in the principal's understanding of 27.5% in the aspects of: (1) supervisory competence, (2) understanding of curriculum content, approaches, and assessment based on literacy and numeracy, and (3) understanding related to the psychology of communication in the implementation of supervision.

Abstract

This service activity is entitled Mandarin Skills Training for Implementing Employees and Leadership Employees at PTP. Nusantara IV Persero North Sumatra. This service will be carried out in the form of debriefing training activities in the form of basic Mandarin language skills and Mandarin in the field of agriculture. The purpose of carrying out this service activity is as a debriefing for implementing employees and leadership employees considering the rapid development of investors from China, especially in the agricultural sector in Indonesia. This is in accordance with the development of the industrial world which has reached the stage of the industrial revolution 5.0. This training is considered important because it is expected to be a medium in an effort to improve the quality of human resources (HR) working in PTP. Nusantara IV Persero North Sumatra. Another purpose is to provide an introduction to Chinese cultural values that are considered necessary for employees to know so that they are expected to assist in efforts to improve the quality of performance and establish good communication between investors and the Business Entity which in this case is PTP. Nusantara IV Persero North Sumatra. The method used is distance learning method (synchronization method and asynchronous method). After participating in this training, it is hoped that it will help improve the quality of work by implementing employees and leadership employees who are built through Mandarin language skills and knowledge of Chinese culture as a medium of communication at work. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it was found that 93% of the training participants were able to master basic Mandarin. These results were obtained through an assessment process in the form of pre-test and post-test so that it can be concluded that this service activity is able to improve human resources in PTP. Abstract

Many factors accelerate the incidence of diabetes and hypertension, getting taller the level of sugar in the blood, the easier it is to have a stroke. Uncontrolled hypertension is one of the most risk factors for stroke incidence. Health problems that cause disability and death are still high, this is probably due to community habits that are difficult to change, such as food and drink consumption. This community service method is carried out by counseling through audio-visual-based media in the form of video. The results of this community service showed an increase in participants' knowledge from 19.23% to 84.61%. This increase in knowledge was supported by the role of cadres who tried to guide participants with educational videos. It is necessary to maintain knowledge in order to increase awareness of the diabetes and hypertension community in Pauh Barat Village in preventing stroke by following innovations in healthy eating patterns, carrying out regular physical activities and managing stress and emotions well.

Abstract

The PKM STAIN Mandailing Natal team carried out a workshop with the theme “Environmental Education Based on Islamic Concepts in Reducing Ecological Damage Activities in Kec. Hutabargot Kab. Mandailing Natal". This workshop activity aims to provide education to the community regarding good environmental management according to Islamic concepts. The idea of implementing this workshop activity refers to the problem of low ethics and public understanding in managing the environment, excessive exploitation of nature through illegal gold mining activities so that the environment is polluted and low attention to environmental hygiene. The method used in this service is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which is in the form of a workshop to socialize Environmental Education through a community movement that cares about the environment to strengthen public understanding in managing the environment. Based on the evaluation of activities, the results obtained, first, the formation of cooperation between the environmental service and the district government. Hutabargot to form a waste bank management team; second, the establishment of an environmental care movement in every village to promote the importance of a healthy and clean environment; third, the creation of cooperation with religious leaders in each village to include environmental education materials in their da'wah activities as an effort to educate the community in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The abundance of potential resources from the oil palm plantation business creates business opportunities from upstream to downstream. Palm oil stick waste has not been explored optimally for its utilization so far it is only burned or thrown away to rot. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide counseling and training on the use of palm oil stick waste into creative products of environmentally friendly woven crafts to a group of women in Kecepatan District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau to increase family income. The limited knowledge and skills of the partner groups in Kecepatan District, Rokan Hulu, Riau is a problem that limits the perception of business opportunities for partner groups in capturing potential business opportunities from palm oil stick waste. Basic counseling and training on making woven plate crafts from palm oil stick waste was carried out as a solution to the problems of the partner group. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partner groups in utilizing palm oil stick waste into environmentally friendly creative products with high economic value so that they have the potential to increase family income.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain how to increase community knowledge for management homestay based local community in Sungai Pinang, West Sumatra. This problem interesting because Sungai Pinang is one of the villages that has great potential to become a mainstay tourism village for West Sumatra and one of the locations that is quite attractive to local and foreign tourists. However, the development of Nagari Sungai Pinang tourism has not been accompanied by the readiness of the community to become a tourism community. One of the indicators is the issue of participation in supporting important tourism infrastructure, such as lodging/ homestays. In Sungai Pinang there is currently only one inn, and even then it is managed by a private sector which is commercialized, so it does not have an impact on the economy of the local community. Whereas residents' houses are an important resource that can be used as homestays. This problem is the reason for the importance of fostering the Sungai Pinang community. As a solution to the problems encountered by the partners above, community-based homestay management training is carried out according to standards, by utilizing local residents' homes. The community needs to be given education about homestay management standards that pay attention to service and comfort to visitors, because lodging is one of the factors that can influence tourist interest, including the welfare of local communities. The form of activity provided is socialization and training in managing residents' houses to become homestays. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the knowledge and ability of the community to managing homestays, including knowledge of homestay management that supports tourism development in Sungai Pinang.

Abstract

Online learning and blended learning require teachers to prepare all learning materials in digital form that are easily accessible to students. However, student interaction, interest, and interest in the learning process is still low because the teacher uses information technology-based learning media that is not interactive. The implementation of this community service activity was prepared based on the willingness letter of the Regional VII Education Office Branch of West Sumatra No. 420/216/Cabdin.VII/KP-2022, which requires competency development for SMA/SMK teachers in designing information technology-based learning media or digital media in the learning process. The solution offered is a program to increase teacher competence in designing interactive technology-based or digital learning media and fostering student interest in the learning process. One form of learning media needed is interactive power points and digital-based teaching materials using flipPDF Professional. The forms of activities carried out are seminars and workshops. Service activities are carried out by looking at the teacher's initial knowledge regarding the learning media that will be developed. During this community service program teachers are facilitated and trained to design instructional media. The expected output is that teachers are able to produce interactive power points and FlipPDF Professional digital teaching materials in one Basic Competence (KD) for each subject in SMA/SMK.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to improve the knowledge, understanding and skills of elementary school teachers in Batang Gasan District, Padang Pariaman Regency based on Community Service activities that have been carried out. This program is carried out in the form of training and meetings. Presentation materials include the nature of learning media, interactive multimedia Articulate Storyline 3, with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in integrated thematic learning. The method used in the interactive multimedia training of Articulate Storyline 3 is the lecture method, question and answer, assignment and discussion. This program is focused on training in the creation and use of learning media in accordance with the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, namely media that are in accordance with the times and technological involvement, with the introduction of an understanding of the media can increase teacher motivation for technology-based media users to be able to support creativity and new innovations. for teachers in designing media. This training can improve the skills and professionalism of teachers to design media used in learning practices so that learning messages are conveyed and attract the attention of students.
