Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the PAI curriculum is developed in pesantren, madrasah, and schools in the millennial era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research approach. The research results show that the curriculum is an essential component of the education program because it functions as a system and as a tool to achieve educational goals. In curriculum development, it must be adjusted to the conditions of students, schools, and the surrounding socio-cultural community, other parties related to the school. That is relevant to the needs and characteristics of the millennial generation will help them become individuals who are faithful, pious, and have noble character, which can be developed through intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Madrasah and pesantren prioritize in-depth Islamic education, while schools focus on general education in their curriculum development.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of civic education on the formation of students’ religious character in the digital era through a Library Research approach. The findings of the literature show that civic education not only acts as a conveyor of knowledge of the rights and obligations of citizens, but also as an initiator of moral values, ethics and religious tolerance which are part of a religious attitude. Social interactions strengthened by civic education shape empathetic attitudes and increase understanding of social diversity. In the digital age, additional complexities arise regarding digital ethics, online responsibility and changes in the dynamics of online social relationships. Thus, this study provides insights into how digital literacy can be integrated into citizenship education to shape adaptive and ethical characters in the digital world.

Abstract

This research aimed to critically understand how to build the quality of Islamic university graduates and the needs of the world of work. Researchers used qualitative research with the type of library research to implement the method in this research. The research results showed that there was a gap between the skills taught in universities and those needed in the workplace. Therefore, it was necessary to strengthen soft skills and hard skills while students were studying at university. At this point, Islamic universities needed to actualize their curriculum system by basing it on the needs of the realities of the contemporary world of work. These findings provided an important contribution for Islamic universities and industry to increase their collaboration in preparing professional graduates who were more ready to work in order to meet the quality of civilization of the next generation of the nation.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the integration of Islamic sciences according to Prof. M. Amin Abdullah and its implications for Islamic universities. The research methods used were library research and bibliographic research. According to Amin, the integration of Islamic knowledge was an essential issue in the development of Islamic knowledge in Indonesia, especially in Islamic religious universities. Amin's reflections emphasized the need for an integrated and interconnected approach to Islamic science, which until now was still fragmented and disconnected from contemporary issues. Amin's theory was based on the classification of Islamic knowledge into four categories: al Qur'an, Sunnah, 'Ulum al Din, al-Fikr al Islamy, and Dirasah al Islamiyyah. These categories corresponded to the concept of a four-layer spider's web, which combined all social and religious principles to solve contemporary problems.

Abstract

Character has been a serious issue that has been pursued for improvement since the 2003 curriculum until the independent curriculum. However, these efforts have not yet resulted in significant achievements. The purpose of writing this article is to describe efforts to penetrate Acehnese cultural values in learning to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students so that they have a sense of pride in their own local culture. The researcher used a qualitative research type, with a literature study method. The results found that narit maja can be used as one of the sources to foster noble character values in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Of course, through a review of the theme or subject matter to match the narit maja to be given. Educational methods that can be used by teachers to strengthen noble moral character through narit maja are storytelling, exemplary, advice, habituation, reward, discussion, and the introduction of rules that must be agreed upon so as not to violate religious norms and general customs. The recommendation of this research is that narit maja can be included in the Aceh education curriculum, as local content. So that students are not unfamiliar with their own local culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description, implementation and evaluation of the student service program (khidmah) at Al Irsyad Islamic Boarding School in instilling independent and responsible characters. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method by: documentation, interviews and observations. The subjects are student who graduated from Aliyah level in 2022 and 2023. The results of the study include: [1] The cultivation of independent and responsible characters is realized through inauguration in the pesantren mission and the basis for organizing service programs, daily routine assignments, incidental activities, exemplary, as well as training and coaching. [2] The implementation is carried out by: debriefing khidmah candidates, giving positions and job descriptions, designing activities and budgets, dealing with solving santri problems, giving khidmah pocket money, exemplary, social interaction, preaching and taking part in the community. [3] The evaluation results still found obstacles: limited experience of khidmah students, initial adaptation to service, environmental influences, and parental interference. Solutions taken: strengthening the knowledge and skills, mentoring ustadz, preparing SOP, emphasizing the authority of santri khidmah, providing education and assistance in handling problem students, motivation and routine coaching.

Abstract

This research focuses on Ibn Khaldun's thoughts about education and its relevance to the basic education system. In the development of education in Indonesia, secular thinking dominates, which results in the breakdown of the unity of personality. Ibnu Khaldun, apart from being a scientist and historian, was also a phenomenal figure in Islamic education. This research describes the concept of education according to Ibn Khaldun, including educational objectives, students, educators, learning methods, curriculum, and educational environment. The research method used is literature study with reference to Ibn Khaldun's phenomenal work, namely the book "Al-Muqaddimah," as well as other books that examine his thoughts. The main conclusion from this research is that there is relevance between Ibn Khaldun's concept of education and the national education system, especially basic education, so that this idea can be a reference for the development of basic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology needs to be exploited in the world of education and learning. The research aims to develop interactive learning media through Classpoint applications on fikih chapter Mawārits subjects. This research uses the research and development (R&D) methodology with the development model of Robert Maribe Branch namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. (ADDIE). The research was conducted during the month of March until April 2024 at MTs N 4 Bantul. Subjects in this study are students of grade 9H MTs N 4 Bantul TA 2023/2024. The quality of the media developed according to the validation of the material expert was 90%. According to the media expert validation results were 95%. As for the percentage of elevation results of the teacher's response to the subject was 87.5%. The elevation result of the student response was 90.33%. Therefore, the interactive learning media through the application Classpoint on the subject fikih chap Mawārits deserves to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of accountability on the level of trust of Muzakki in Paying Zakat at PWNU Care LAZISNU DIY (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, the influence of transparency on the level of trust of muzakki in paying zakat at PWNU Care LAZISNU DIY, the influence of professionalism on the level of trust of muzakki in paying zakat at PWNU Care LAZISNU DIY, and the influence of accountability, transparency, and professionalism on the level of trust of muzakki in paying zakat at PWNU Care LAZISNU D.I.Y. This research falls under the category of quantitative research, where the study is associated with numbers, tables, and graphs, utilizing the SPSS 26 tool to determine the results of validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination (R2). The sample used consisted of 83 Muzakki with a random sampling technique, and a questionnaire was employed as the data collection method. The results of this research indicate that accountability, transparency, professionalism, and accountability have a significant negative effect on the level of trust of Muzakki. Additionally, the variables of Accountability, Transparency, and Professionalism of the institution collectively and significantly influence the Level of Trust of Muzakki.

Abstract

Financing income at Islamic Banks during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia decreased by 0.6%. It is due to consumer demand for restructuring. The net acquisition of Islamic returns also decreased significantly from 7.41% to 6.12% due to the pandemic. This research aims to determine whether there is a difference in the Financial Performance of Islamic Commercial Banks during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative with the object of research at Islamic Commercial Banks. The researchers took samples through the purposive sampling method. The researchers also used descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing using the paired sample t-test. In the test, the researchers used SPSS 25. The research results indicate that there is no significant difference in the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks during and after the Covid-19 pandemic with a calculated t value < t table of 0.320 < 2.265 with a significance of 0.756 > 0.05 in the liquidity ratio, with a calculated t value < t table of -0.574 < 2.265 with a significance of 0.580 > 0.05 in the profitability ratio, with a calculated t value < t table of 0.524 < 2.265 with a significance of 0.613 > 0.05 in the solvency ratio, with a calculated t value < t table of 1.410 < 2.265 with a significance of 0.192 > 0.05 in the business efficiency ratio, with a calculated t value < t table of 1.444 < 2.265 with a significance of 0.183 > 0.05 on leverage ratio.
