Abstract

The Hadrah Dance tradition in Gresik Regency embodies a unique blend of Islamic values and local culture. Beyond serving as entertainment and cultural expression, Hadrah Dance conveys moral and spiritual messages. This study aims to reveal how the Hadrah Dance tradition reflects Islamic values and the local wisdom of the Gresik community in fostering social harmony and interfaith tolerance. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, the research explores the meaning, function, and role of Hadrah Dance in Gresik society. Data collection was conducted through direct observation of Hadrah performances and interviews with artists, religious leaders, and local residents. Findings indicate that Hadrah Dance acts as an effective medium for Islamic teachings, promoting values of brotherhood, peace, and respect for diversity. Additionally, it strengthens social bonds among Gresik residents of diverse religious backgrounds, symbolizing a harmonious blend of local culture and Islamic teachings. The study concludes that the Hadrah Dance tradition holds significant value in maintaining social harmony and tolerance within a multicultural society, underscoring its importance for sustaining social cohesion in an increasingly diverse modern era.

Abstract

Pesantren are growing rapidly and are among the most popular choices for learning to improve Islamic values in the digital era in maintaining social harmony. However, there has been no research on the reasons for walisantri in making decisions to choose pesantren as a place of learning for their children. This study aims to explain the motivational needs survey of walisantri (parents of students) in determining the choice of Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Situbondo pesantren in the perspective of McClelland's theory. The research method used a survey approach with cluster sampling of 613 people. The survey results showed a high score for the need for achievement of 4.69 or strongly agree and the need for belonging of 4.66 or strongly agree. This is consistent with the pesantren's slogan, "Mondhuk entar ngajhi ben ngabdhi (mondok to learn and do service)," which can mean mondok to learn to deepen knowledge and maintain social harmony. McClelland's theory shows that walisantri's need for achievement and belonging significantly influences their decision to send their children to pesantren. This research provides valuable insights that can help pesantren and other educational institutions meet the needs of parents and students, and increase the effectiveness and relevance of pesantren education in maintaining social harmonization. The research also contributes to the literature on pesantren and motivation theory.

Abstract

Ritual Rokat Bhumih di Bondowoso merupakan tradisi keagamaan yang kaya akan makna dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis makna yang terkandung dalam ritual ini, serta kontribusinya terhadap pelestarian lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap masyarakat lokal yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan Rokat Bhumih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ritual ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ungkapan syukur kepada Tuhan, tetapi juga sebagai media untuk memperkuat hubungan sosial di antara komunitas serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan. Melalui simbol-simbol yang terdapat dalam ritual ini, masyarakat Bondowoso mengekspresikan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan dan harmonisasi dengan alam. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan studi kearifan lokal dan praktik keberlanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Sharia banking can significantly contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic growth. This article explores strategies to enhance sharia banking management through a community-based approach in people's markets. By leveraging local market potential, Islamic banks can increase community engagement, strengthen customer relationships, and develop tailored financial products. The research identifies various initiatives, such as financial education programs, collaborations with micro-businesses, and the creation of sharia-compliant financial products. A community-based approach can improve both internal bank management and local economic growth. The article recommends a community-based strategy as a crucial step to enhance sharia banking management in people's markets. It underscores the importance of collaboration between sharia banks and communities to achieve shared goals in sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The era of globalization is expected to be able to integrate all aspects of human life more easily with the development of technology, especially in the practice of religious moderation. This research aims to analyze the integration of local wisdom in moderate Islamic practices to build social harmony in the era of globalization. The research method used PRISMA 2020 systematic literature review, based on Google Scholar and e-resources of the National Library, 122 articles were found, but only 20 articles were analyzed. The results show that in the current era of globalization, Indonesia is not yet optimal to integrate local wisdom in moderate Islamic practices, and a life of social harmony has not been created comprehensively in Indonesia. Local wisdom and moderate Islamic practices shouldy synergize each other to create moderate social harmony, the role of various stakeholders; tribal leaders, community leaders, governments and communities who participate in each other.

Abstract

This article examines the integration of local wisdom values in Islamic education at Pesantren Tebuireng as an effort to build social harmony, using Pierre Bourdieu's Theory of Cultural Socialization as an analytical framework. Bourdieu emphasizes that educational institutions, such as pesantren, play a crucial role in the reproduction and preservation of culture through habitus, which refers to patterns of thinking, acting, and feeling shaped by the social environment. This study explores how Pesantren Tebuireng implements local values such as tolerance, mutual cooperation, and respect for cultural diversity in its educational process, and how these values are reproduced and preserved in the daily lives of the students. The philosophy of education at Pesantren Tebuireng, influenced by the thoughts of Hadratussyaikh KH Hasyim Asy'ari, plays a key role in shaping the habitus of students, enabling them to accommodate differences, maintain interfaith harmony, and contribute to social harmony. The results of this study show that education based on local wisdom at Pesantren Tebuireng not only strengthens the cultural and religious identity of the students but also contributes to creating a more tolerant and harmonious society amidst diversity.Keywords: Local wisdom, Pesantren Tebuireng, habitus, Pierre Bourdieu, social harmony, tolerance, Islamic education.

Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of local wisdom spread across cities and regions. Each has its own values and characteristics that distinguish one region from another. However the progress of time has brought the local wisdom values to experience challenges and opportunities. The effort that can be made to maintain these local wisdom values remain sustainable is through integration in differential learning, especially in the elementary school level. This research is descriptive study that used a library research approach to examines various sources and relevant literature. The result of this study is to carry out the process of integrating wisdom values in the elementary schools learning practice through several steps, which are planning, identifying the readiness, determining the themes and time allocation for compiling teaching materials or modules, and developing the assessments. Furthermore the implementation of differential learning can be performed by accommodating four aspects, namely content, process, product and learning environment of students by paying attention to three domains, which are the readiness, the students' interests, and characteristics of students.Keywords: integration, local wisdom values, differential learning

Abstract

Arus digitalisasi dalam dunia teknologi telah masuk ke dalam praktik dan wacana keagamaan Islam. Hal ini pula yang melahirkan berbagai platform di media sosial yang membawa isu dan wacana perempuan Muslim dan gender. Atas dasar tersebut, media sosial memainkan peran penting dalam menyebarkan wacana tersebut dalam ruang publik. Berbagai platform berbasis perempuan Muslim dan gender menjadi bagian dari otoritas baru dalam Islam. Artikel ini berupaya mengeksplorasi dan mengkaji wacana aktivisme perempuan dan gender di media sosial. Beberapa media sosial tersebut diantaranya, yakni Rahma.id, Bincang Syariah, Neswa.id, dan Bincang Muslimah. Platform tersebut menyuarakan wacana perempuan dan diskursus gender dalam ruang publik. Melalui teori critical discourse analysis dan fenomenologi, peneliti berupaya meneliti, mengkaji dan menelaah postingan di beberapa platform tersebut di media sosial sejak tahun 2021-2023, terutama mengenai suatu permasalahan keagamaan tertentu, khususnya terkait isu perempuan, gender, dan persoalan keagamaan Islam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa berbagai platform perempuan Muslim tersebut, di mana mereka menyuarakan diskursus keseteraan gender dan menjadi otoritas keagamaan baru dalam konteks keagamaan di Indonesia. Mereka telah menjadi alternatif baru dalam mengakses dan mencari jawaban atas persoalan keagamaan kontemporer, yang mana selama ini untuk mendapatkan jawaban-jawaban atas problematika keagamaan harus ke kiai, ustadz, ustadzah atau tokoh agama secara langsung.

Gaprang Village Subdistrict Kanigoro Regency Blitar get nickname of Pancasila village. Giving the nickname of Pancasila village is based on existence three religions; Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. There is no multi-religion in Pancasila village cause dispute, but become character unique tied in harmony life multicultural. Form harmony is immortalized in A building masgapur, acronym from Mosques, Churches, and Temples. Research This aiming take a picture management strategic actions taken religious figures for strengthening moderation religious acculturation setting culture . Research methods use qualitative descriptive. Research results show; 1) formulation of strengthening strategies moderation religious done through preservation culture wisdom local as acculturation culture. 2) Implementation of strategy through carnival culture, development gate masgapur (Mosque, Church, and Temple). 3) Acculturation culture become settings strengthening moderation religion in the Pancasila village of Gaprang Village Regency Blitar.

Abstract

Halal certification is one of the important elements in ensuring product quality and safety, especially for Muslim consumers. This study aims to optimize halal certification assistance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products in the Pulau Merah Beach area, Banyuwangi. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Informants in this study consisted of MSME actors in Pulau Merah with interactive model analysis. The results of the study indicate that optimal assistance is needed to increase MSME participation in the halal certification process. An effective assistance program includes ongoing education about the importance of halal certification, providing easier access to information and procedures, and collaboration with the government and related institutions in facilitating certification costs. With the right assistance, MSME products in Pulau Merah Beach can compete in a wider market, including the international market.
