Abstract

This research plays an important role in contributing to Islamic economics in realizing tolerance and harmony between religious communities. The purpose of this study is to explore how Islamic economic principles can facilitate positive interactions between different communities. The method employed is a literature review, analyzing pre-existing written sources to address the research problem. The results indicate that Islamic economics, through the practices of sharing, social justice, and transparency, fosters an environment conducive to harmony among people. The discussion reveals that the implementation of Islamic economics can reduce the potential for conflict and enhance collaboration between religions. The conclusion confirms that Islamic economics is not merely an economic tool, but also a means to strengthen tolerance and harmony in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This study examines the development of inclusive economy in the mualaf community through the application of Islamic values and local wisdom, with a case study of the Alyumna Candi Kuning Foundation in Bali. Previous studies have less explored the mualaf community in the context of economic development, especially in non-Muslim areas such as Candi Kuning Bedugul, thus this study fills this gap. This research offers a new approach by combining Islamic values, such as the development of inclusive economic empowerment, the contribution of zakat and infaq implementation concepts, and Balinese local wisdom such as gotong royong and tri hita karana to strengthen the economy of the mualaf community. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to understand the application of Islamic values and local wisdom in economic mentoring activities for the mualaf community. The research shows that the integration of religious values and local wisdom can strengthen the community economy, create social solidarity, and support inclusive economic development. The religion and local culture-based approach has proven effective in addressing the economic challenges of the Alyumna Foundation's mualaf community. Research recommendations include the development of policies that support inclusive economic models based on religious and local cultural values. Governments and organizations can adopt this approach to assist other communities in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the decline in the culture of the use of Javanese Krama language in the era of mosdernization.This research uses qualitative methods with the type of research study of documentary research or research through sources of books, journals, articles, and other documentation materials sourced from libraries. data analysis researchers use content analysis or methodologies that utilize. using a set of procedures to draw a conclusion sourced from books or documents and done objectively. The results of this study indicate a decline in the culture of using Javanese Krama in the era of modernization indicated by the transition of Javanese language users or mixing with other languages and adjusting the language used. There are 5 factors affecting the decline in the culture of Javanese Krama language use, namely bilingualism, migration, economic development, the existence of a language status that is considered high or social strata and colonization.

Abstract

This study examines the values ​​of Islamic religious education contained in the reliefs of the tomb of Sunan Sendang Duwur in Lamongan, East Java. The object of this study is the reliefs found in the site of the tomb of Sunan Sendnag Duwur located in Sendang Duwur Village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency, East Java Province. The purpose of the study was to identify and analyze Islamic teachings represented through the symbols and ornaments found in the reliefs. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with caretakers, and literature reviews. The results of the study indicate that these reliefs contain values ​​of faith, piety, and noble morals, which are represented through geometric, flora, and fauna motifs. The discussion reveals that these ornaments have symbolic meanings that teach monotheism, the importance of morals, and the relationship between humans and nature and others. The conclusion of this study is that the reliefs of the tomb of Sunan Sendang Duwur serve as a medium for Islamic education, which conveys spiritual and moral teachings to the community.

Abstract

The research is based on religious traditions joined by other religions. This is unique since the fact, there are various religions adherents, and they join and participate towards the parade of “ogoh-ogoh” and “takbir”. This research is aimed to describe tolerance and harmony between religious communities. The research used qualitative methods with a sociological and anthropological approach, the data was collected by interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis is descriptive. The results of the research was the majority of people were involved in the “ogoh-ogoh” and” takbir” parade, they tidied up the roads during the activity. All of society have high tolerance towards other people and always maintain harmony towards Hindu, Buddhist, Islam, Christian and so Javanese communities is able to live side by side without religious conflict. Even, the people like different traditions.

Abstract

This research aims to uncover the construction of tolerance through the Kalpataru symbol in Sunan Bonang's artwork. Through a semiotic approach, this study will analyze the meanings contained in the Kalpataru symbol in various artworks associated with Sunan Bonang. The analysis will cover iconic, indexical, and symbolic aspects of the Kalpataru symbol to reveal how this symbol functions as a representation of the values of tolerance, diversity, and unity. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of art in building an inclusive and tolerant society, as well as the relevance of the Kalpataru symbol in the contemporary Indonesian context.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the pager gesek tradition in the sedekah bumi ceremony of Srikandang Village, as well as the Islamic values integrated within it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings show that the pager gesek tradition is not just an annual ritual but also a representation of religious values and local wisdom that strengthens social harmony. The study also reveals that this tradition enhances social solidarity and serves as an expression of gratitude to God for the blessings of nature, while preserving the village's cultural identity. The discussion highlights the role of this tradition in promoting harmony by integrating religious values and local practices. The conclusion emphasizes that the tradition fosters mutual respect, cultural sustainability, and unity within the community.

Abstract

This research examines the role of traditional games in teaching tolerance through a combination of local values and Islamic teachings. The objective of the study is to analyze how games like Engklek, Congklak, and Sepak Takraw can develop students' cooperation and respect for others, in line with Islamic concepts of brotherhood (ukhuwah) and cooperation (ta'awun). Using a qualitative research method, including observations and interviews with educators, the study reveals that traditional games help to foster social interaction while also imparting moral values, enhancing students' understanding of tolerance. The discussion emphasizes the importance of integrating traditional media into Islamic education, merging local wisdom with Islamic principles to build a culture of tolerance and collaboration. The study concludes that traditional games serve as an effective tool for character education in Islamic contexts.

Abstract

Digital literacy is very important to do today. This is because fake news, especially those related to religion, spreads quickly and easily through social media. If digital literacy is strong, fake news will be easily recognized, the credibility of the source will be tested, and the context of the content viewed will be understood. This study uses a qualitative methodology and literature review to show the function of digital literacy in the context of religious moderation education. Data collection was carried out by analyzing various related libraries, including books, journals, papers, and trusted internet sources. The findings of this study indicate that digital literacy can increase a person's critical awareness of circulating information and strengthen a person's capacity to distinguish between fiction and reality. This study concludes that increasing digital literacy in strengthening religious moderation can encourage respect for diversity, tolerance, and positive interfaith communication and can help create a more inclusive and peaceful society and limit the spread of religious-based fake news. Therefore, strengthening digital literacy in teaching religious moderation is a step that must be taken to build a more critical and tolerant society

Abstract

Indonesia is a very large country and has a lot of cultural diversity in various regions. In terms of tradition, Islam also upholds traditions that develop among society. Not least, the traditions and customs that the majority of Muslims in Indonesia adhere to are in accordance with Islamic teachings. Like the tradition of mbarak during the Eid al-Fitr holiday carried out by the Tutul Tegalsari Ambulu Jember community. This tradition has been preserved for generations by the Tutul Tegalsari Ambulu Jember community as an effort to maintain and strengthen ties of friendship as well as harmony and tolerance. This article discusses the traditional practice of mbarak in Tutul. This article explains the Islamic values of hablum minannas contained in the Mbarak tradition which is the local wisdom of the Tutul community, the benefits and objectives contained in the Mbarak tradition, as well as efforts to maintain and preserve it. This mbarak tradition has been carried out for generations and has very high relevance in efforts to maintain harmony and tolerance in the Tutul community. By implementing the Islamic values of hablum minannas, it turns out that society can become more unified, harmonious, harmonious, peaceful, tolerant, and able to make society far from conflict and strife.
