Abstract

This research aims to analyze how campaign props are implemented to control general elections in Bandung Regency, because there are still many findings of campaign props installed in places where they should not be. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method with data collection techniques through field observations, in-depth interviews and analysis of relevant documents. The research results concluded that coordination through work guidelines, forums and conferences did not run optimally due to the large number of meetings held, while coordination through authority had results that were in line with the theory used, as well as coordination through consensus running as it should. It is also recommended that there be increased coordination in work guidelines, forums and conferences so that enforcement coordination can be carried out effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the reward system on organizational performance at the Sports Activity Unit (UKOR) of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. An effective reward system is considered a key factor in motivating members to achieve optimal performance. The study uses a qualitative method with a survey approach, gathering data through interviews with UKOR members. The results show that the salary and incentives do not reflect the responsibilities, are inadequate, and inconsistent, which negatively affects motivation. While sports facilities support performance, limitations, especially in health benefits, hinder productivity. The lack of interpersonal recognition and unstructured feedback also reduces morale and performance. The study recommends improving the reward system and enhancing facilities to boost organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between various human resource practices, such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation, performance appraisal, and succession planning, with employee performance in the current economic and organizational context. Using a literature review, this study will formulate hypotheses about the relationships between these factors. The research method will involve analyzing previous studies and developing a research model to test the formulated hypotheses. It is expected that the results of this study will provide a deeper understanding of how HR practices can affect employee performance, as well as offer new insights for practitioners and academics in the field of HR. The practical benefits of this research include providing valuable contributions to organizations in designing effective HR strategies and offering useful guidance for relevant stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the relationship between human resource practices and employee performance. The findings are expected to provide insights for developing effective HR strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of maturity of occupational safety culture at PT Khotai Makmur Insan Abadi as part of the evaluation of the Mining Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3P). The concept of maturity level in safety culture is used as an innovative approach to improve safety culture in high-risk companies. The method used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis, where data is collected through a questionnaire containing 30 questions covering psychological, behavioral, and situational aspects in five dimensions: information communication, commitment, organizational learning, leadership and engagement, and competence. The results showed that most employees paid less attention to the OSH aspect, with a greater focus on improving production compared to safety. As a recommendation, it is recommended to make SOPs related to the punishment system that needs to be applied by superiors to subordinates, as well as the development of an easily accessible K3 information system. Companies also need to prioritize reminders of the importance of safety and the impact of violations on the safety of the surrounding environment. The results of this evaluation are expected to help PT Khotai Makmur Insan Abadi in developing a mature work safety culture and increasing the effectiveness of SMK3P in its work environment.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of human resource quality, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of expert members of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. This type of research is a quantitative research with a research location in the secretariat building of the House of Representatives office, which was carried out from November 2023 to June 2024. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 51 randomly selected people. Data analysis uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) which uses the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results showed that work motivation did not have a significant effect on performance, while HR discipline and competence had a positive influence. Work discipline plays an important role in improving performance, and competence provides sufficient influence. The suggestions of this research include improving discipline, competence, and attention to the welfare of experts through adjustments to working hours. Further research is needed to deepen these findings for wider benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Pandawara Group social movement in supporting the blue economy and the sustainability of coastal ecosystems in Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through literature review and document analysis from various sources. The study results indicate that the Pandawara Group successfully mobilized public support and engaged multiple stakeholders, including the private sector and government, in collective actions to clean up coastal areas and sustainably manage marine waste. The discussion reveals that this movement's success not only contributes to environmental cleanliness but also serves as an inspirational model for strengthening cross-sector collaboration. The conclusion of this study is that the Pandawara Group demonstrates significant potential as an example for other social movements in supporting the blue economy and raising public awareness of the importance of marine ecosystem conservation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Teamwork, and Individual Characteristics on employee performance at PT. Bella Agung Citra Mandiri. This research utilized a quantitative approach method with a descriptive design, involving 95 respondents as a sample determined by the population. Collect the required primary data through questionnaires, as well as secondary data from related literature. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 25, including classic assumption tests, validity, reliability and hypothesis testing. Employee performance is partially influenced by occupational health and safety (K3), teamwork, and individual characteristics. These findings indicate that improving these aspects can contribute to improving performance in the company. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of implementing K3 and good teamwork, as well as understanding individual characteristics to achieve optimal organizational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Metro Swalayan customers' purchase decisions are influenced by pricing, promotions, and amenities, which are in turn influenced by product variations. Nowadays, a lot of individuals desire their requirements to be addressed promptly and efficiently. As a result, a lot of individuals would rather buy at supermarkets to satisfy their necessities. This study's research methodology is quantitative. With a sample size of 100 responders, the population is infinite and includes all Metro Swalayan Malang customers. The sampling procedure employs the accidental sampling strategy, which is a non-probability approach. A questionnaire is used in the data collection process, and the Partial Least Square (PLS) method is used to test the results using SmartPLS 4 software. The study's findings indicate that (1) pricing significantly influences consumers' decisions to buy. (2) Purchase decisions are not much impacted by discounts. (3) Purchase decisions are not much impacted by facilities. (4) The impact of price on purchasing decisions cannot be moderated by product variety. (5) The impact of discounts on purchasing decisions cannot be moderated by product variety. (6) The impact of facilities on purchasing decisions cannot be moderated  by product variety..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the public service strategies implemented in the Kwandang District, with a focus on effectiveness, efficiency, and community satisfaction. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. The results of the study show that digitization of services, humanist approach by apparatus, and coordination between institutions are the main strategies implemented. However, obstacles such as limited infrastructure, especially in remote areas, and low digital literacy among the community are still significant challenges. To overcome this, the Kwandang District government has made efforts such as training for officials and the community and increasing collaboration with the private sector to improve technological infrastructure. In conclusion, the success of the public service strategy in Kwandang District is highly dependent on improving infrastructure, human resource competence, and active community participation in utilizing digital-based services. Innovation in public services is important in realizing inclusive and efficient services in this region.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the implementation of digital transformation on public administration services in Garapia Village, North Gorontalo Regency, which is included in the category of Frontier, Remote, and Disadvantaged (3T) areas. Digital transformation is implemented through an online document registration system and a mobile application for health services. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness, challenges, and impact of digitalisation on public services in this village. The qualitative research method used in examining the effects of digital transformation on the efficacy of public administration services in the 3T Region of North Gorontalo Regency involves an in-depth approach to understanding the phenomenon as a whole. This research combines various qualitative data collection techniques, while the object of this research to be interviewed in-depth is stakeholders at the village level, such as village heads, village government heads, community members, and community leaders. The study results show significant challenges in implementing digital transformation, including limited internet access, low digital literacy among the community, and lack of training and technical support for village government employees. Limited technological infrastructure hinders people's ability to access digital services optimally, while low levels of digital literacy slow down technology adoption. Efforts made by village governments, such as digital literacy training and collaboration with internet service providers, have shown positive results but still do not fully overcome all challenges.
