Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: The poverty level in Indonesia will increase at the end of 2022, while the growth in the realization of distribution of ZIS funds, Sharia Financing, Social assistance program Program and I-HDI, represented by IPM, will experience good growth and increase significantly in 2022.Purpose/Objective Study: This research aims to determine (1) the influence of distribution of ZIS funds on poverty, (2) sharia financing on poverty, (3) social assistance program funds on poverty, and (3) Islamic human development index as a mediator between the influence of ZIS, sharia financing, and social assistance program for poverty alleviation.Design/Methodology/Approach:The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with a sample of 10 provinces with the largest Muslim population in Indonesia. The data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of the relevant institution. Data were processed using Smart PLS 4.0.9 software and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach.Findings: The results of this research show that (1) the distribution of ZIS funds has a significant negative effect on poverty, (2) sharia financing has a significant negative effect on poverty, (3) social assistance program has a significant positive effect on poverty, (4) the Islamic human development index is able to mediate the effect of distribution ZIS funds, sharia financing, and social assistance program towards poverty alleviation.Paper Type: Research Article

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: Most Indonesians understand that waqf only applies to certain assets that are not growing, nowadays waqf management must begin to shift in a more productive direction so that it can provide wider benefits. The concept of productive waqf is a new paradigm in developing waqf assets where the proceeds from these assets can empower the community.Purpose/Objective Study: This research aims to measure the impact of utilizing mauquf 'alaih funds managed by Rumah Wakaf to help business actors, micro, small and medium (MSMEs) in the process of their business activities so that they become better and can increase income..Design/Methodology/Approach: This research uses Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis, the method used is a mix method by combining qualitative and quantitative. The sample was determined using purposive sampling and data collection through field observations, in-depth interviews and document studies, while determining the SROI ratio value using the equation of Net Present Value of Benefit and Net Present Value of Investment.Findings: The findings of this research show that the impact of utilizing mauquf 'alaih funds provided in the form of business carts based on SROI calculations is 1.95 : 1, meaning that every Rp 1 contribution will produce a benefit of Rp 1.95. So that the mauquf 'alaih funds generated from productive waqf have an impact on business actors and can be categorized as a feasible and targeted program.Paper Type: Research Article.

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: Management of Human Resources (MSDI) plays a very important role in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of zakat programsPurpose/Objective Study: This research aims to analyze Human Resource Management Strategies in zakat management at Lazismu Sidoarjo.Design/Methodology/Approach: using both qualitative and quantitative methods, along with field research.Findings: The findings of the IFAS analysis indicate that Lazismu Sidoarjo possesses several significant strengths, especially in terms of legitimate legal status and accreditation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. However, the research also identifies a primary weakness, which is the limitation in Human Resources (HR), still posing a constraint on the effectiveness of zakat management. Furthermore, the EFAS analysis highlights various opportunities that Lazismu Sidoarjo can leverage, including the certification of zakat administrators recognized at national and international levels, as well as technological advancements supporting zakat operations. On the flip side, there are threats that need vigilance, especially in the context of economic crises such as those encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic. The SWOT analysis places Lazismu Sidoarjo in Quadrant 1 (SO), indicating its position as an organization with robust legality and readiness to adapt to environmental changes by utilizing zakat administrator certification and technology. Therefore, the recommended strategy is to capitalize on existing strengths to address weaknesses while harnessing opportunities and confronting threats through a growth-oriented and innovative approach in zakat management.Paper Type: Research Article

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: The issue of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) develops along with the occurrence of several types of conflicts that occur between groups of stakeholders. Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: The role of MSMEs in the Indonesian economy is very important, including contributing to labor absorption, driving economic growth, GDP and investment as well as economic equality. However, there is a gap in information about MSMEs regarding their characteristics, business scale and distribution, causing information regarding MSMEs to be less detailed, less up to date and difficult to obtain for the development of MSMEs themselves.Purpose/Objective Study: This research aims to collect and analyze data on MSMEs in Tasikmalaya City based on their characteristics and business scale.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research method was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. This research collected primary data through interviews and questionnaires and secondary data through databases from related agencies and the entrepreneurial community in Tasikmalaya City. After that, the data is verified and classified based on the characteristics and scale of the business which is presented in table and info graphic form.Findings: This research finds that the number of MSMEs in Tasikmalaya City obtained from primary and secondary data in 2023 will reach 3751 MSMEs. However, only a small portion of MSMEs have complete data and information. The district with the largest number of MSMEs is Cihideung District with 2761 MSMEs and the district with the smallest number of MSMEs is Purbaratu District with 7 MSMEs. The three most common types of business fields are trade, industry and services. The results of this research can be used as information in making decisions regarding MSME research and development programs in Tasikmalaya City.Paper Type: Research ArticleKeywords: MSMEs; Characteristics; Business Scale; Development

Abstract

AbstractIntroduction to The Problem: Technological advances, especially the internet, have driven the rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia. So, examining the suitability of transactions on platforms such as Zalora with the principles of Islamic sale and purchase contracts is essential.Purpose/Objective Study: This article explores the suitability of the sales and purchase contract in Zalora Indonesia's e-commerce platform with Sharia principles.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research utilizes a qualitative method with an exploratory, descriptive analysis approach. This study's primary and secondary data sources are primary and secondary sources. Primary data sources were obtained directly from participant observation within the Zalora e-commerce application, where the researcher was directly involved as a buyer on Zalora Indonesia's platform. The observed data included the application of contracts in Zalora Indonesia and then comparing their suitability with Islamic contract principles. Secondary sources were taken from books and articles based on the Open Journal System (OJS) regarding contracts and e-commerce. The data obtained will be processed through a framework analysis method, and then the data will be organized into sentences corresponding to the findings. The techniques used in analyzing the collected data include classification, exploration, verification, and conclusion.Findings: The research findings indicate that e-commerce transactions in Zalora, Indonesia, are based on the principles of sales and purchase contracts in Islam. Principles such as godliness, permissibility, honesty, equality, trust, commitment, welfare, keeping promises, willingness and agreement, transparency, and convenience have been applied in e-commerce transactions on Zalora Indonesia's platform..Paper Type: Research ArticleKeywords: Akad; Principle; Zalora Indonesia

Abstract

AbstractIntroduction to The Problem: The waqf land disputes which occurred on Jl. Keranggan, Palangka Raya City with an area of 580,000 m2 occurred because of the inter-Nazhir case, where the old Nazhir brought the certificate of the donated land so that the new Nazhir could not carry out his duties optimally. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze the role of Nazhir in overseeing the settlement of waqf land disputes on Jl. Keranggan, Palangka Raya City.Design/Methodology/Approach: This field research used qualitative methods. There are 1 nazhir subjects and 2 informant. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. It applied source triangulation for data validation. The data analysis covered data collection, reduction, display, and concluding drawing.Findings: The result of this study is that the role of nazhir in over seeing the settlement of waqf land disputes has been role in carrying out their duties and obligations to care for and maintain the ridht to the waqf land, because the nazhir is the person who is responsible for maintain the rights to the waqf land, because the nazhir is the one who is responsible for the waqf land.Paper Type: Research Article or General ReviewKeywords: Dispute settlement, roles of nazhir

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: During the Covid-19 period, the financial world experienced obstacles in achieving net profit, including Islamic banks. How is the current net profit trend of Islamic banks seen from various trend analysis methods.Purpose/Objective Study: To determine the trend of Bank Muamalat's net profit using linear, quadratic and exponential trend methods.Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach.Findings: The research findings show that there is a downward trend in net Profit from Bank Muamalat in all three trend analysis methods and the quadratic trend method is the most accurate method with the largest R Square value compared to the linear trend and exponential trend.Paper Type: Research Article
