Abstract

This research examines the important role of Pokdarwis Nyaru Menteng in improving community welfare in Tumbang Tahai sub-district of Palangka Raya city, focusing on ecotourism and its impact on community empowerment, environmental management, and local economic growth. Using a qualitative approach, the research involved direct observation and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including local residents, Pokdarwis leaders and administrators, and government agencies such as the forestry and tourism offices of central Kalimantan province and Palangka Raya city. The findings of this study highlight that Pokdarwis have successfully engaged local communities in tourism activities, leading to improved social and economic welfare. However, challenges related to managerial capacity and economic sustainability remain, particularly in relation to fluctuating visitor numbers. This research underscores the need for continued government support, enhanced managerial training and diversification strategies to ensure long-term economic stability. In addition, better environmental management practices are needed to preserve local biodiversity. This research contributes to a broader understanding of community-based tourism by emphasizing the importance of local participation and sustainable practices in tourism management to achieve improved welfare for the community

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of religious values, social pressure, and product awareness in the ethical consumption decisions of Muslim and non-Muslim communities in Palangka Raya concerning products associated with Israel. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involves in-depth interviews with respondents from both communities. The findings indicate that ethical consumption decisions among Muslims are influenced by a combination of religious values and social pressure. For them, the decision to boycott certain products reflects both religious beliefs and social solidarity. In contrast, the non-Muslim community demonstrates a more pragmatic approach to consumption decisions, which is primarily based on economic factors such as price and product quality. Social media plays a significant role in disseminating information and reinforcing solidarity among Muslims, whereas the non-Muslim community tends to be more selective in the information they consider on this issue. This study contributes to the understanding of how religious values and social pressures can shape ethical consumption behavior within a diverse religious society.

Abstract

The study examines the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) strategy in developing Ka mbariat Tuah Pahoe Campsite as an ecotourism destination in Central Kalimantan. Using a mixed-method approach combining quantitative analysis through logistic regression and qualitative descriptive analysis, this research evaluates the effectiveness of community involvement and environmental sustainability in increasing tourist visits. The quantitative findings, supported by a goodness-of-fit test (Hosmer-Lemeshow test p-value: 0.7861) and model accuracy of 91.34%, demonstrate that both community ownership and management (coefficient: 0.413853) and environmental sustainability (coefficient: 0.664741) positively influences visitation rates. Qualitative analysis reveals that the visitor demographic is predominantly young adults aged 18-22 years, indicating potential for youth-oriented tourism development. The study concludes that CBT implementation at Kambariat Tuah Pahoe shows significant promise, particularly when focusing on community empowerment and environmental sustainability, although requiring strategic planning for optimal economic benefit distribution and sustainable environmental management.

Abstract

Opportunities to increase students' interest in entrepreneurship are still very open. Entrepreneurship training programs, inspirational seminars, and the provision of business incubator facilities at universities can help build a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship. In the Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Palangka Raya University, there are courses such as Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management courses that can be a tool to foster entrepreneurial interest among students, so that through these courses, it can be a driving force for students to become entrepreneurs after completing college. Therefore, the Economics Education Study Program views entrepreneurship not only as an additional skill, but as a core competency that must be possessed by graduates. Students of the economic education study program are expected to understand the principles of economics and be able to apply them in entrepreneurial practices, so that they can become the driving force of economic development in the region and nationally.

Abstract

Gang Lumumba, located in Ngagel Rejo, Surabaya, is known for its socially negative environment characterized by deviant behaviors such as alcohol abuse, gambling, and a lack of attention to children's education. The Pandawa Learning House Community, established in 2009, aims to transform these conditions by providing formal and moral education for children. This study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the community in mitigating social pathology. Using a qualitative approach, the methods employed include interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal positive impacts, including increased community awareness of the importance of education, behavioral changes in children, and strengthened social bonds. Although initially met with resistance, the community has gained support from local residents and collaborates with various stakeholders, such as university students and local organizations. This study aligns with Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory, which emphasizes how individual-environment interactions influence social development. The research highlights the significance of community initiatives in driving social change within marginalized areas

Abstract

This study aims to explore product innovation in MSMEs and the role of human resource management (HRM) in enhancing customer satisfaction. Using a literature review approach, this research collects and analyzes various relevant sources on product development and HRM in the context of MSMEs. Product innovation in MSMEs is considered a key factor in gaining a competitive edge in the market, involving market research, the application of modern technology, and sustainable product improvements. Additionally, effective HRM plays a critical role in enhancing employees' capabilities through competency-based training programs such as skill training, digital marketing, and inventory management. These training programs aim to improve employees' skills in facing dynamic market challenges and enhance customer service quality. The study also shows that a work culture supporting collaboration and creativity, as well as involving employees in strategic decision-making, contributes to product innovation and customer satisfaction. The results indicate that effective HRM can increase customer loyalty and competitive advantage for MSMEs, while continuous product innovation is crucial for achieving sustainable business growth

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of differentiated learning styles through Project-Based Learning (PBL) on mathematics achievement among fourth-grade students in Harati Public Elementary School Cluster, Kahayan Hilir Subdistrict, Pulang Pisau Regency, during the 2024/2025 academic year. This experimental research employs two groups based on demographic location: urban (Group A) and rural (Group B). Each group is divided into experimental and control classes. Results show higher average mathematics achievement scores in experimental classes compared to control classes. Hypothesis testing yields: Group A (t-table = 0.680 > t-calculate = 0.547) and Group B (t-table = 0.690 > t-calculate = 0.033). Consequently, differentiated learning styles through PBL significantly enhance mathematics achievement among fourth-grade students

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that occur at SDN 5 Kasongan Lama, namely the scores obtained by students are still far from the set KKM. Based on observations, it is also known that one of the causes of the low learning outcomes of Indonesian Language is the lack of interest of students in learning Indonesian Language subjects and the lack of use of media in classroom learning. The purpose of this study is to increase the interest and learning outcomes of grade II students in Indonesian Language subjects at SDN 5 Kasongan Lama by using comic media. This research is included in the type of quasi-experimental research carried out in two classes. The experimental class consists of eight meetings. The control class consisted of six meetings. The subjects of this study were grade II students of SD Negeri 5 Kasongan Lama in the Indonesian Language subject in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, totaling 30 students from the experimental class and 29 students from the control class. Data collection techniques used pretest, posttest, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was quantitative data and Data analysis was calculated using the Chi-square formula, Fisher's formula and T-test formula. The results of the study showed that the average pretest value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 60.5 and the average posttest value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class after participating in learning using comic media increased by 78.83. Based on these data, it shows that there is an influence of the posttest of 18.33. and the average value of p7 student learning interest in the experimental class was 29.23 and the average p8 student learning interest in the experimental class in both meetings used comic media in the learning process, both meeting 7 and meeting 8 and experienced an increase of 2.9 or 7.3%. Furthermore, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence that comic media can increase the interest and learning outcomes of class II students of SDN 5 Kasongan Lama in the 2024/2025 academic year

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' perceptions of students' perceptions of the use of YouTube in learning in higher education. The rapid development of technology, including the YouTube platform, has had a major impact on the education sector, especially in higher education, including the use of platforms in the learning process to support students' academic success. This study uses a qualitative approach using a case study to examine how students of the economics education study program at Tanjungpura University view and utilize the YouTube application in the learning process. The data collected came from 100 students through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The findings show that the majority of students have a positive perception of the use of the YouTube platform that supports students' academic abilities and enthusiasm for learning. However, some concerns are excessive dependence on technology and the accuracy of information. This study shows that although YouTube can be a good tool in the learning process, it must be integrated into the right pedagogical approach to maximize its role as a tool in the learning process. This study provides insight for educators to optimize technology including the YouTube platform in learning in higher education

Abstract

Local cultural wisdom in each region is unique and different; this is why it is important to maintain it. It indicates the unique characteristics of an area, including its social field. The distinctive social culture in each region generally adheres to positive teachings and is worth preserving. This research aims to explore how the snakefruit village festival functions as a tool to maintain and celebrate cultural identity and local wisdom. This research is qualitative research with an ethno-social based phenomenological approach. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, as well as through local figures and residents. Data triangulation is carried out through source triangulation. The research results show that (1) internalizing character values ​​is carried out through five stages: value acceptance, response, selection, internalization, and actualization. On the other hand, the character values ​​that emerge as a form of internalization of the local wisdom of the Snakefruit Village festival include religious values, cooperation, tolerance, and caring for the environment. (2) the community has three forms of social capital, Bonding, Bridging, and Linking, which are forms of community cooperation through various parties for the event’s success. The implication of the results of this research is the need for continuous support in developing and promoting the Snakefruit Festival as a manifestation of cultural values ​​in Rengel Village through collaborative efforts between the government, cultural actors, and the community. In this case, the Snakefruit Festival can effectively strengthen and expand understanding and appreciation of Javanese cultural identity in Rengel Village, Tuban Regency
