Abstract

This research will analyze the of the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Sidokare 2 Sidoarjo by focusing on the teacher's perspective. As well as describing the various challenges experienced in implementing the 2013 Curriculum and Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, namely research about individuals, groups, and one organization at a certain time. Data collection techniques in this research are (1) observation, (2) documentation, and (3) interviews. Data validation in research is source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research is an interactive model. Interactive model data analysis, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that: Teachers have carried out assessments based on the 2013 curriculum and teachers have also implemented various methods in learning activities to create an active, creative and fun learning atmosphere. Teachers' perceptions are positive and appreciative of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in primary schools. Teachers have a crucial role in the development and implementation of the curriculum in primary schools. The effectiveness of curriculum implementation largely relies on the level of dedication and intensity shown by the teacher in the classroom.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is needed in the learning process at school so that learning objectives can be achieved as expected. Learning motivation This research was conducted on the basis of findings of problems that arise in the school environment, especially in the education of elementary school children, namely related to students' learning motivation. This has been proven at school, where some children show a lack of enthusiasm and even do not want to participate in the learning process, for example children do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations and are busy telling stories with their friends. This problem demands the need for a learning media that provides Achievement Star rewards. The method used is a comparative descriptive method with a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach which aims to compare the motivation of students' learning levels without using achievement stars. This research involved 29 children. Data was collected through classroom observations during learning and documentation. Based on analysis of previous research data, it was found that before there was concrete media with awarding achievement stars, children were less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities. The research results show that using concrete media by giving Achievement Stars can motivate children's learning. For example, children are enthusiastic about learning, active when asking questions or asking questions during learning activities, carrying out assignments given by the teacher until they are finished. By giving this achievement star, educators are helped so that they can increase children's learning motivation. The research results showed that there was an increase from pre-cycle, to cycle 1, then cycles II, and III. It can be seen from the percentage of students' learning motivation in the pre-cycle, 28% was categorized as very poor, in cycle I it was 51.72% categorized as poor, in cycle II it reached 69%, it was categorized as sufficient and in cycle III it reached 93.10%, it was categorized as very good. Thus, it can be stated that the application of learning using concrete media and achievement stars can increase students' learning motivation in class II Elementary School Civics learning

Abstract

To improve students' learning motivation, teachers play an important role in creating an interesting learning atmosphere. One effective media is papinka, a visual aid to understand the concept of multiplication in a concrete way, which helps improve students' motivation and understanding in learning mathematics. This study aims to develop papinka-based media to improve students' learning motivation in grade II in mathematics, especially in multiplication material. The type of research used is the type of research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. With a population of 25 students of grade II SDN Cipeucang 03. The data analysis technique used through quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of the study showed that the validation results from media experts obtained an assessment with a percentage of 90%"very valid", material experts 94.4% "very valid" and language experts 92% "very valid". In addition, the assessment results obtained from the results of educator responses with a percentage of 96% "very practical or feasible", the assessment results from student responses 96.14% "very good" and the effectiveness results obtained were 96.6% "very effective". This shows that papinka media can increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the level of emotional intelligence of grade IV elementary school students; (2) knowing the level of ability to understand science concepts of grade IV elementary school students; (3) knowing the relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to understand science concepts of grade IV elementary school students. This research method is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The population of this study was all grade IV students of SDN 88 Singkawang. The sampling technique in this study is a saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study was all grade IV students of SDN 88 Singkawang consisting of classes IVA and IVB totaling 46 students. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques, which test the ability to understand students' science concepts on Energy and Change material and non-test techniques, namely emotional intelligence questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in the study were descriptive percentage analysis, mean value analysis, and Spearman Rank correlation. The results showed that (1) the level of emotional intelligence of students was high with an overall average percentage of 75.96%, (2) the level of students' ability to understand science concepts was high with an overall average score of 75.88, (3) there was a relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to understand students' science concepts with tcalculate > ttable = 5.52 > 1.38 and a coefficient of determination of 40.96%. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to understand science concepts of grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui kondisi awal kreativitas siswa, proses pemaduan warna siswa, hasil peningkatan kreativitas, dan kendala yang dihadapi serta solusi yang diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pembelajaran seni rupa di kelas III SD 3 Jepang Pakis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh apa kreativitas siswa melalui kegiatan menggambar dan melukis. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala yaitu penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang interaktif, variasi material, dan penguatan motivasi siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengenai peningkatan kreativitas melalui kegiatan menggambar dan melukis membuat siswa lebih tertarik mempelajari karya seni. Kegiatan menggambar ini memungkinkan siswa mengekspresikan pikiran dan imajinasinya.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung is the low results of students' mathematics learning. The test results show that the average grades for classes 6A, B, C respectively are 42.5; 34.8; and 39.9. This research aims to determine the effect of the problem posing learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method, pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung, totaling three classes with classes A and B as samples having the same group. Data processing was carried out using a normality test and paired t-test on the pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class. The normality test results show a figure of 0.200 in the pretest and posttest value data. The results of the paired t-test for the experimental class produced a significance value smaller than 0.001 so that it was concluded that the problem posing learning model had an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at MI Miftahul Huda Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of teachers in implementing learning in the independent curriculum which includes understanding student characteristics, understanding learning theories, implementing learning, utilizing technology and information in learning, and evaluating independent curriculum learning at SDN Kadubungbang 1. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a naturalistic analysis type. The sample of this study was teachers at SDN Kadubungbang 1. The instruments used included interview guidelines, observation sheets, and related documents. Data collection techniques used included interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is that teachers at SDN Kadubungbang 1 have a basic understanding of the principles of the Independent Curriculum, especially related to differentiated learning in recognizing student character and the formation of Pancasila student profiles. Teachers are able to compile learning tools, such as teaching modules that are in accordance with the Independent Curriculum guidelines. However, some teachers still face obstacles in designing learning activities that are fully responsive to the needs, interests, and potential of students. The implementation of learning in the classroom shows that most teachers have tried to apply a student-centered approach. Keywords: Competence; Pedagogy; Independent Curriculum

Abstract

Inclusive education at the elementary school (SD) level is an approach that aims to provide learning opportunities for all students, including those who have special needs. The implementation of inclusive education allows children with special needs to learn together with normal students at school. This research aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Rawu. The research methods used involve class observations, interviews with class teachers and analysis of school policies. To check the validity of the data, researchers used data triangulation techniques. The research results show that there are various strategies and approaches implemented by teachers to support the success of inclusive students. It was found that support from the school, involvement of parents, and teacher training were key factors in optimizing the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Rawu. In implementing inclusive education, the school has provided teachers appropriate to the department and special accompanying teachers who are tough and great at providing services according to the diagnostic needs of children with special needs. Obstacles such as a lack of resources and a curriculum that is not always supportive need to be a common concern to increase the effectiveness of inclusion at the primary education level. This research provides valuable insights for the development of inclusive education policies and practices at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research was motivated by various students' problems in making collage works using origami paper. Problems that occur will affect the final result of the collage work that has been created. The aim of this research is to determine students' creativity in sticking techniques using origami paper. Fine arts have a very important role in basic education and can develop students' visual skills, imagination and creativity. This research method includes observation, interviews, document analysis and documentation. This type of research uses qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 20 class IV teachers and students. The results of research at SD N 5 Cendono showed that students had different creativity in cutting origami paper and students had difficulty sticking the paper neatly. Making collages can increase student creativity and students are given the freedom to be creative so that the results are maximized. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of origami paper can increase the creativity of class IV students in arts and culture lessons on collage material. Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that students' interest in studying mathematics is still relatively minimal, because learning mathematics is still considered difficult. In the case of multiplication calculation operations, you can not only apply multiplication learning using rote memorization methods and arithmetic methods, but you can also use the finger method. By implementing the use of the Jarimatics method, it is hoped that it will have an impact on the speed and accuracy of carrying out multiplication calculation operations. The aim of the research was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in learning through the Jarimatika method assisted by audio-visual technology media on multiplication material for class III of SD Negeri 009 Palembang. The researcher applied experimental quantitative research in research with research subjects on 19 respondents who focused on student learning outcomes. Data is obtained through activities pretest and posttest. From the results of activity research pretest resulted in an average completeness of learning outcomes of 56 and in activities posttest resulting in an average completeness learning outcome of 72. So it was concluded that students' learning outcomes in multiplication material had increased through the Jarimatika method.
