Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts based on gender after participating in Realistic Mathematics Education learning with the props, "Papan Pecahan dan Sudut" (PANDU). This research method was qualitative with quantitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were fourth-grade elementary school students in Singkawang city. Data collection instruments were the researcher and the documentation of the results of the students' mathematical concept understanding ability tests. Data analysis techniques were scoring, assessment, categorization, description, and conclusion. The results showed; 1) the ability of male students to understand mathematical concepts after participating in RME learning with PANDU teaching aids had an average score of 80.35, which was in the high category; and 2) the ability of female students to understand mathematical concepts after participating in RME learning with PANDU teaching aids had an average of 78.52, which was in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is no difference in the ability to understand mathematical concepts between male students and female students after participating in RME learning assisted with PANDU teaching aids.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas III di SDN 23 Singkawang pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Perubahan Wujud Benda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan seberapa besar Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Media Pembelajaran Konkret Terhadap Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda peserta didik kelas III. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 23 Singkawang. Jenis penelitiannya yaitu kuantitatif eksperimen dengan metode nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas III SDN 23 Singkawang, dan sampel peserta didik kelas III C berjumlah 28 peserta didik yang menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa :   (1) Adanya perbedaan hasil belajar IPA materi perubahan wujud benda pada ranah kognitif  peserta didik  antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (2) Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media pembelajaran konkret memberikan  pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi perubahan wujud benda pada ranah kognitif peserta didik sebesar 1,21 (kriteria tinggi). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media pembelajaran konkret memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif pada pembelajaran IPA peserta didik kelas III SDN 23 Singkawang. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing; media konkret; hasil belajar. ABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the problem of the low of SDN 23 Singkawang 3rd grade students learning outcomes  at Science subject about changes of state. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference and how much the effect of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model assisted by Concrete Learning Media on the Material Changes in the Form of Objects of grade III students. This research was conducted at SDN 23 Singkawang. The type of research is quantitative experiment with the method of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were all grade III students of SDN 23 Singkawang, and a sample of grade III C students totaling 28 students who used a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The results showed that: (1) There are differences in science learning outcomes in the material of changes in the form of objects in the cognitive domain of students between experimental classes and control classes analyzed using the mann-whitney u-test test with tabel> hitung which is 9.013>3.528; (2) The guided inquiry learning model assisted by concrete learning media has a high effect on the science learning outcomes of material changes in the form of objects in the cognitive domain of students by 1.21 (high criteria). So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model assisted by concrete learning media has a significant influence on cognitive learning outcomes in science learning for grade III students of SDN 23 Singkawang. Keywords: guided inquiry learning model; concrete media; learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' intensive reading skills in terms of high, medium and low learning interest in grade III SDN 62 Singkawang. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The collection technique uses written test techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Data Analysis is Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusions. The results of this study are 1) Students who have a high interest in learning have skills Sufficient intensive reading, 2) Students who have sufficient interest in learning have sufficient intensive reading skills, 3) Students who have low interest in learning have sufficient intensive reading skills. It can be concluded that students' interest in learning can greatly affect the success in students' intensive reading skills. Intensive reading skills are important for successful learning in Indonesian subjects, and all subjects in school.

Abstract

Penekanan keterampilan hidup kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus sebagai bekal mereka untuk mandiri adalah kelebihan yang di miliki SLB dibandingkan sekolah lain untuk ABK. Mata pelajaran program khusus adalah mata pelajaran yang hanya ada dalam kurikulum di SLB. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pelatihan origami untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan khalayak sasaran yaitu siswa yang ada di SLBC Dharma Miranti Singkawang. Hasil karya yang telah dibuat oleh masing-masing siswa, diberikan untuk dibawa pulang agar dapat ditunjukkan kepada orang tua dan keluarga di rumah serta dapat memotivasi mereka untuk belajar membuat bentuk lainnya.Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan origami ini menunjukkan bahwa demonstrasi melipat kertas origami menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang interaktif karena terjadi interaksi yang baik antara tim pengabdian dengan siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using the card sort learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade civics on the subject of ethnic and religious diversity in my country. This research was conducted at the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment with a quasi-experimental design method. The research design used is a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency, with the sampling technique being in the form of a saturated sample (total sampling). The study was conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class using the card sort learning model with 30 students and the control class using the direct learning model with 30 students. The data collection technique in this study used multiple-choice objective test techniques. The results of the research can be concluded that: (1) There are differences in the learning outcomes of Civics Education aspects of material knowledge of ethnic and religious diversity in my country on the card sort learning model compared to the direct learning model in class IV the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency, which was analyzed using the t-test with t_count> t_table is 6.139>2.00172; (2) There is an increase in PPKn learning outcomes in terms of material knowledge of ethnic and religious diversity in my country on the card sort learning model compared to the direct learning model in class IV the State Elementary School 03 Rambayan, Sambas Regency by 0.54 (medium criteria); (3) The card sort learning model has a high influence on student Civic Education learning outcomes on the subject of ethnic and religious diversity in my country, grade IV, which is 2.41 (high criteria).

Abstract

Motivasi belajar memainkan peran peting dalam menentukan hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa, untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa, dan mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian assosiatif yaitu hubungan antara variabel bebas yaitu motivasi belajar dengan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar kognitif IPA. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SDN 11 Singkawang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil/II tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN 11 Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh, yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN 11 Singkawang dengan jumlah sampelnya adalah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berdasarkan teknik angket dan pengukuran, yaitu menggunakan angket motivasi belajar siswa dan tes hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tingkat motivasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi berdasarkan perhitungan presentase nilai siswa dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 67,06%, 2) Tingkat hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata keseluruhan skor siswa yaitu 6,11%, 3) Terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa kelas V SDN 11 Singkawang dengan koefisien determinan sebesar 61,5%. Jadi dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa.

Abstract

The primary goals are as follows: 1) to compare the mathematical concept understanding of students taught using direct learning versus the TGT learning model with the help of PAPAR learning media; 2) to measure the impact of the TGT learning model with PAPAR learning media on students' mathematical concept understanding; and 3) to observe students' reactions after implementing the TGT learning model with PAPAR media on their mathematical concept understanding. A quantitative and experimental approach is used in this study. The research methodology for this study was a quasi-experimental design using a Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control type. Fourth graders from SDN 10 Singkawang participated in the research, which used a non-probability sampling approach based on a saturated sample. The results of this research show that: (1) compared to students whose math lessons used the direct learning model, those whose classes utilized the TGT learning model with the help of PAPAR learning media had a stronger grasp of mathematical ideas. While t_hitung is greater than t_tabel. The following are the reasons why: (1) We reject Ho and accept Ha; (2) The TGT learning model with the help of PAPAR learning media has a significant impact on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts; (3) The average response rate of 77% from students to the TGT learning model with the help of PAPAR learning media is very high.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe giving question and getting answer terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 8 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, bentuk penelitian yang digunakan quasi exsperiment dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Post-test Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yang berjumlah 56 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas IV A (28 Siswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B (28 Siswa) sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji-t dan persentase angket respon positif siswa. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer dengan yang menggunakan pembelajaran langsung pada materi sumber energi kelas IV SDN 8 Singkawang dan terdapat respon positif siswa terhadap strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer pada pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN 8 Singkawang Sangat Baik mencapai 80,13 persen.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement in Social Studies. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a sample of 24 students. Data were collected through a motivation questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple correlation to identify the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement. The findings indicate that most students have moderate to low learning motivation, which aligns with their academic performance, which also falls within the moderate category. A positive correlation was found between learning motivation and student achievement, where students with higher motivation tend to achieve better results. The study recommends implementing more interactive and engaging teaching methods to enhance learning motivation and learning outcomes.
