Abstract

Cantang grouper is a grouper species produced from the hybridization of Kertang grouper and Tiger grouper. The hybridization, besides increasing species diversification, also has the prospect of cultivation that has the opportunity to increase fishery production in the future. The technique of maintaining grouper larvae needs to be known to be able to increase the production value of the grouper larvae and create technological opportunities in the production process. The embryonic development phase of cantang grouper egg consists of multicellular phase, blastula, gastrula, separation of the tail from the egg sac, the movement of embryo, internal organ formation and the hatching eggs. During the two months maintenance period, the Hatching Rate (HR) larvae were found to be 80%.

Abstract

The PKM program that is a partner is Hendrosari Village, Menganti District, Gresik City. Villages that have the potential to be developed into tourist villages. The vast land and other economic potentials seem to have been built by this village. However, this potential is not yet optimal in practice. Because through this PKM program we focus on renewing, and some training related to maximizing the potential of villages that become tourist villages. Based on observations and results of field interviews, there are two issues considered by partners namely; 1) not yet optimal knowledge of village communities who are members of the Village Economic Business Group (KUEMDes) related to the potential that exists in the village as a tourist village; 2) Movement of community economic activities in the form of economic business is still in the arrangement of (traditional) home management yet not oriented to agro-industry and siwalan agro-tourism which actually has great potential as an agro-industrial and agro-tourism village. In this PKM program we try to provide alternatives and solutions that provide modern and agro-based business support by providing seminars and workshops related to agro-based business management, change management (change from traditional culture to modern culture in the management of business management. It is expected that the existing potential can be optimized in increasing the economic efforts of the community through agro-tourism based KUEMDes and the use of technology that produces potential resources that can become a source of income for rural communities. This activity was created successfully in the form of creating successful collaborative programs until the end of the PKM, building a family atmosphere between the different and solving problems related to shared problems so that they can be used together to find solutions and find out how to increase the economic benefits of this village if used moderately based on agro-industry and siwalan agro-tourism, of course the hope is to achieve the expected benefits, namely increased knowledge, increased productivity and competitiveness, independence and welfare of the community through the utilization of the potential of villages as lontar tourism villages. Abstract

In essence, road access to Kalialo Village is still very difficult due to the dark terrain and street lighting (PJU), this is because the PJU electricity in the village has been cut off since the last 6 months. Kalialo Village has provided information to PLN regarding the cut off of public street lighting but has not received any response to date.To help and facilitate this access, we as the Center for Engineering and Energy Studies feel the need for a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) or Solar Cel. Which will be installed at certain vital points or locations on the road access to Kalialo Village.

This research was conducted in January-September 2016 in the coffee plantation in Tlogosari village, Tirtoyudo sub-district, Malang district which is located at an altitude of 560 m above sea level. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design. which consisted of 6 treatments and 4 replications. While the treatment is P0 (without spraying), P1 (Spraying once a week with a concentration of 150 ppm), P2 (Spraying once a week with a concentration of 300 ppm), P3 (Spraying once a week with a concentration of 450 ppm), P4 (Spraying 1 week once with a concentration of 600 ppm), P5 (Spraying once a week with a concentration of 750 ppm). Giving pyraclostrobin with a concentration of 600 ppm can increase the number of fruits compared to the treatment without pyraclostrobin.

Abstract

In this PKM program, our partner is residents in Rungkut Barata, Surabaya, East Java Province. This community has generated the production of citronella oil. However, the product only in the form of citronella oil in a simple package. Citronella oil from the refining process is one of the jobs for the people in Rungkut Barata where to improve welfare, a product diversification process is necessary. Seaweed is forms of algae that grow in the sea and has the biological activity for health. Carrageenan is the product result of seaweed extraction that have several function as thickener, emulsifier, suspension, and stabilizer. The pharmaceutical industry uses carrageenan for the manufacture of drugs, syrups, tablets, toothpaste, and shampoo. The cosmetics industry uses it as a gelling agent or binding agent. Based on interviews and observations in the field, there are 2 main focuses of the problems currently faced by partners, namely: 1) lack of knowledge about non-consumption seaweed and 2) product diversification of seaweed and citronella oil which have an added value. Some of the things planned by the PKM team are innovating citronella oil to be aromatic soap as well as providing training and mentoring for financial analysis, soap packaging and marketing.
