Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-books and Augmented Reality learning media for installing contraceptive implants on the knowledge and skills of midwifery students. The method used is experimental, using a one-group pre-test and post-test design, with the development of e-book media products containing text, images, sound, and augmented reality. The research results showed that there was a significant influence on knowledge and skills before and after the use of e-book learning media and Augmented Reality for installing contraceptive implants in midwifery students (p = 0.000). The research conclusion is that e-books and Augmented Reality learning media for installing contraceptive implants are effective in improving the skills of midwifery students. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the communication of the SBAR method in nurse handover that encourages a culture of patient safety and effective communication. The method used is a pilot study starting from the process of identification, analysis, prioritization of problems, plan of action, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up plan. The results showed that the application of guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SPO) with socialization and handover assistance with SBAR method communication had a good effect, as evidenced by the trial application of the guidelines obtained data there was an increase in the percentage of vital sign mentions of 100%, the results of the latest nursing assessment increased to 40%, the delivery of nursing diagnoses and recommendations for further nursing actions by 60%. The hospital organization is in a stage of movement change where after implementation, the Nursing Services Department and the head of the room try to maintain its sustainability and make the organizational culture in the hospital. In conclusion, the activities that have been carried out during the socialization and mentoring process provide a change in behavior and a good mindset for nurses in implementing and cultivating the implementation of handover with SBAR communication in order to realize quality nursing services. Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between glycemic control and lipid profile levels in type 2 DM patients. The research method used in this research is a cross-sectional study. The statistical test used is chi-square. The research showed that of the 50 respondents suffering from type 2 DM, the most significant percentage were women (70%) and in the adult age category (68%). There is a relationship between cholesterol levels (p = 0.010) and LDL (p = 0.012) with glycemic control (HbA1C). ) not related. The research conclusion is that glycemic control (HbA1C) is related to cholesterol and LDL levels. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 DM, Glycemic Control, Lipid Profile

Abstract

This study aims to look at the risk factors for hypertension in adolescents. The method is observational analytical research using a cross-sectional design involving 63 respondents. The research results showed that the 63 teenagers willing to be respondents in this study were aged 14 - 18 years, with the majority being female. The research results showed that the gender variable was not related to the incidence of hypertension in adolescents (p = 0.245), as well as the sleep duration variable (p = 0.477), the BMI variable (p = 0.000), light exposure (p = 0.000) and total cholesterol levels. (p = 0.007) shows a relationship with the incidence of hypertension in adolescents. The research conclusion is that the incidence of hypertension in adolescents is related to BMI, light exposure, and total cholesterol levels. Keywords: Risk Factors, Hypertension, Adolescents

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of planned changes to improve the implementation of stunting risk discovery, through the preparation of guidelines for stunting and wasting risk nursing care. The research method used is a case report which includes problem identification, problem analysis, plan of action (POA), implementation and evaluation activities. Data collection was carried out using interview guides, questionnaires. The results of the research show that the implementation of the planning function in implementing the stunting program is not yet optimal, so guidance is needed so that implementation is more optimal. In conclusion, the preparation of stunting risk nursing care guidelines and clinical pathways is a solution to the problem. PoA implementation was carried out using Kurt Lewin's planned change approach. Keywords: Nursing care, Clinical pathway, Stunting

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the application of primary nursing care methods, which positively impact nursing care services for patients and nurses. This research method uses a case study approach with interviews, observations, document reviews, and surveys and uses fishbone analysis for problem analysis. The research results show that the implementation of primary nursing care methods in hospitals can be optimized by increasing human resources (all nursing staff) in terms of understanding and increasing knowledge, which is updated regularly, improving the organizing, monitoring, and evaluating functions of room heads and increasing the role of primary nurses as preceptors. In conclusion, increasing nursing human resources in understanding and expanding regularly updated knowledge can maximize the application of direct nursing care. Abstract

This study aims to explore barriers to family-centered care (FCC) in the pediatric care area. The method used is a systematic review with literature searches from several online databases. The results showed that parents' perceived knowledge regarding FCC, namely the primary nurse-caregiver relationship, ward structure/policies, knowledge, ethical issues, limited health service resources, limited time in providing services, the nature of chronic disease, medical paternalism and professional mindset influenced FCC implementation. In conclusion, these findings provide strong evidence for understanding what is most important to nurses and the barriers to family-centered care (FCC) in the pediatric care area. Abstract

This study aims to encourage optimization of the implementation of nursing supervision for TB program activities in hospitals. The method used is a case report, which was carried out in one of the inpatient rooms at Hospital X. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews and questionnaires. The total sample was 22 executive nurses. The results of the assessment are analyzed to determine the problem, determine interventions to solve the problem, and prepare a Plan of Action. The results of the survey showed that the planning function of the head of the ward was not optimal, as evidenced by the lack of nursing supervision regarding the implementation of the national tuberculosis program, namely education, recording and reporting as well as Infection Prevention and Control. Nursing supervision guidelines have been prepared and follow-up plans have been made for their implementation. In conclusion, the implementation of nursing supervision needs to be optimized, including nursing supervision of national Tuberculosis program activities, in order to ensure the quality of nursing care. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the FTS intervention affects the baby's pain response when DPT immunization is given at the Community Health Center. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study showed that the frequency of responses to pain in babies before treatment was the highest, namely seven babies with a pain scale of 3, a percentage of 46.7% in the moderate pain category, the frequency of responses to pain in babies after treatment was the highest, six babies with a pain scale of 2, percentage 40% with the mild category. At the same time, the results of the bivariate analysis show that the p-value is 0.000 < 0. In conclusion, family triple support intervention has a significant effect on the baby's pain response when DPT immunization is given at the Community Health Center.
