Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of acupressure on changes in Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) values in patients with decreased consciousness. The research design used was a quasi-experiment, one group pre-test, and a post-test design. The results of the univariate analysis showed that before the acupressure intervention, the majority of respondents (23.3%) were at the somnolent level of consciousness, and after the intervention, the majority of respondents, six people (20.0%), were at the delirium level of consciousness. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the p-value (0.004). In conclusion, acupressure has an effect on changes in GCS values in patients with decreased consciousness. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between stride length, stride width, and walking speed on the risk of falls in older people at the Tresna Werdha Tulus Kasih Dan Budi Pertiwi Social Home, Bandung City. The method used is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional research design. The study showed a relationship between step length and the risk of falling, p-value = 0.002 (p ≤ 0.05). There is a relationship between step width and fall risk, p-value = 0.002 (p ≤ 0.05). There is a relationship between walking speed and the risk of falling, p-value = 0.002 (p ≤ 0.05). In conclusion, stride length, width, and walking speed are physical factors that influence the body's balance and coordination. Abstract

This research aims to implement education on fatigue in hemodialysis patients. The method used was a Randomized Controlled Trial with a quasi-experimental research design. The results showed a significant difference in the average total Fatigue score in the experimental and control groups after participating in the program (P < 0.001). There were also statistically significant differences between age, gender, disease duration, dialysis frequency, and Fatigue level (p<0.05). In conclusion, the educational intervention aims to increase knowledge so that patients can comply with the educational intervention provided and can help reduce fatigue levels in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Abstract

This study aims to implement Evidence-Based Nursing Practice (EBNP) with educational interventions on self-management, self-efficacy, and blood sugar values in DM patients at Tarakan Hospital, Jakarta. This research method uses quasi-experimental. The research results show that the p-value of self-management with self-efficacy is (r=0.464, p=0.001). The conclusion is that fasting blood sugar changes will impact postprandial blood sugar changes, and self-management will influence changes in respondents' self-efficacy. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Early Warning Score (EWS) in hospitals. The method used is a case report including assessment, problem identification, problem analysis using fishbone, preparation of plan of action (PoA), implementation and evaluation. Data collection was carried out using interviews and field observations. The results showed that the hospital had implemented a system to prevent worsening to patients using a tool called Early Warning Score (EWS), but the application of EWS was still not optimal. The problem was solved using Kurt Lewin's planned change approach with the implementation carried out by making training, case discussions, quizzes and monitoring and evaluating the implementation of EWS in the hospital. In conclusion, increasing competence by providing training, discussions about EWS and conducting monitoring and evaluation can optimize the implementation of EWS in hospitals. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of an educational model by combining alarms and reminder notifications to consume blood supplement tablets based on a mobile application called EDUMA to change pregnant women's knowledge and compliance with consuming blood supplement tablets. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The research results showed that the knowledge difference test obtained a p-value of 0.045 and compliance of 1.000. The conclusions of this research show that the only thing that has a significant difference before and after using the "EDUMA" mobile application-based educational model for 21 days is the knowledge variable.
