Abstract

PORTRAIT OF NON-FORMAL EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN COURSE INSTITUTIONSNonformal education institutions play a strategic role in improving community competencies to adapt to the evolving world of work. This study aims to analyze the operational quality and social impact of the nonformal course institution CV. Aliah Cipta Sarana in Makassar City. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that the institution applies a practice-oriented learning model using modules and syllabi aligned with government standards. Teaching staff possess relevant academic qualifications and additional competency certifications. The facilities are adequate, with clean and well-ventilated classrooms and comprehensive learning media such as whiteboards, projectors, computers, and practice equipment for tailoring and driving courses. Funding sources include leadership capital and participant fees, managed transparently. Although institutional partnerships are still limited, cooperation with the Department of Manpower has been established through a computer training program. The institution has a significant impact on enhancing participants’ skills, contributing to social and economic empowerment, and gaining recognition from various stakeholders. This study confirms that nonformal course institutions like CV. Aliah Cipta Sarana play a crucial role in developing human resources and fostering skill-based education in Indonesia.

Abstract

GENDER EQUALITY IN CHINESE FILM MULANThis study aims to analyze the representation of gender equality in the Chinese film Mulan using a qualitative approach through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The research is grounded in the issue of gender inequality that remains prevalent in China’s patriarchal culture, where women are often placed in subordinate positions and viewed as lacking the same capacities as men. Mulan serves as a compelling case, portraying a female character who defies social systems, fights on the battlefield, and proves that courage and intelligence are not limited by gender. The literature review draws on previous studies relevant to feminism and female representation in media. The findings reveal that Mulan represents gender equality through four main dimensions: access, participation, control, and benefit. The character Mulan is depicted as an independent and courageous woman who possesses existential awareness to determine her own destiny. These results reinforce Simone de Beauvoir’s existentialist feminist view that women can be subjects who are free and responsible for their existence. Therefore, Mulan is not merely a heroic tale but also an ideological manifestation of women’s struggle to uphold gender equality within a patriarchal culture.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF DIGITAL-BASED INTERACTIVE GAME MEDIA (KAHOOT) ON STUDENTS' COGNITIVE LEARNING OUTCOMES IN IPAS MATERIAL FOR FOURTH-GRADE STUDENTS OF SDN KARANGDUWAK 1 This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Kahoot-based interactive digital game media on students’ learning outcomes in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject for fourth-grade students at SDN Karangduak 1. The background of this research arises from the low level of student engagement and motivation in the learning process, which is still dominated by conventional methods. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, using the pretest–posttest control group design model. The subjects consisted of two classes: the experimental class using Kahoot and the control class applying the lecture method. Learning outcome data were collected through multiple-choice tests administered before and after the treatment and analyzed using normality testing and an Independent Sample t-test. The results revealed a significant difference between the average scores of students in the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. This finding indicates that the use of Kahoot effectively improves students’ learning outcomes. Interactive digital game media such as Kahoot have been proven to create an active, enjoyable, and collaborative learning atmosphere while increasing students’ motivation and concentration throughout the learning process.

Abstract

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan merupakan badan hukum yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah untuk menyelenggarakan program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan guna melindungi pekerja dari berbagai risiko sosial ekonomi. Dalam pelaksanaannya, Direktorat Kepesertaan memiliki peran strategis dalam perluasan, pengelolaan, serta penguatan hubungan dengan peserta, khususnya peserta korporasi dan institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh Bidang Kepesertaan Korporasi dan Institusi BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dalam menjaga hubungan dengan peserta serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan partisipasi aktif (participant observation), di mana peneliti terlibat langsung dalam aktivitas operasional Direktorat Kepesertaan Korporasi dan Institusi sebagai Relationship Manager Support. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, partisipasi aktif, wawancara, serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bidang Kepesertaan Korporasi menerapkan strategi komunikasi berbasis Customer Relationship Management (CRM), strategi Supply Chain, dan program SERTAKAN untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan, memperluas kepesertaan, serta membangun loyalitas perusahaan peserta. Sementara itu, Bidang Kepesertaan Institusi mengoptimalkan komunikasi relasional dan kerja sama strategis dengan kementerian dan lembaga melalui koordinasi formal maupun informal guna menyelaraskan kebijakan dengan program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan. Namun, dalam implementasinya, kedua bidang menghadapi berbagai hambatan, seperti perbedaan karakter mitra, rendahnya pemahaman regulasi, tingkat kepatuhan yang belum optimal, penolakan dari lembaga mitra, keterbatasan waktu, serta kesulitan menemukan key person yang berpengaruh. Secara keseluruhan, strategi komunikasi yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan terbukti berperan penting dalam membangun kepercayaan, meningkatkan partisipasi, serta menjaga keberlangsungan hubungan antara BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dengan peserta korporasi dan institusi.

Abstract

MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE MINISTRY OF RELIGION OF LAMONGAN REGENCY Infrastructure management is a crucial aspect in supporting the implementation of government agencies' duties and functions. Adequate infrastructure plays a significant role in creating an effective, efficient, and productive work environment. This article aims to describe the implementation of infrastructure management at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Lamongan Regency and to analyze the extent to which it impacts employee performance effectiveness. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct field observations, and documentation studies of office administration data. The results indicate that infrastructure management involves several stages: needs planning, procurement of goods and facilities, routine maintenance, and the elimination or replacement of unusable assets. This structured and sustainable management approach has been shown to positively impact employee performance effectiveness. Complete, well-organized, and well-conditioned work facilities can improve work morale, environmental comfort, and efficiency in task execution. Furthermore, leadership support in monitoring and budget allocation is also a crucial factor in maintaining the sustainability of infrastructure management. Thus, optimal management of facilities and infrastructure not only improves the quality of public services, but also becomes one of the key strategies in realizing professional and highly competitive governance.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE STYLE IN THE POETRY WORKS OF 10TH-GRADE STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 TALAMAUThis study aims to analyze and describe the figures of speech used in the poetry of 10th-grade novice students at SMA Negeri 1 Talamau. The subjects were selected based on their characteristics as beginner writers who are just starting to develop their creative writing skills, especially in poetry. The data consists of all diction containing figures of speech in a collection of poems written by the students. A qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques was used. The findings show that 10th-grade students are capable of using a variety of figures of speech in their poems, though with different frequencies and variations. The dominant figures of speech were those of comparison, specifically personification and metaphor, which reflect the students' attempts to animate inanimate objects and provide implicit depth of meaning. The study also found the use of figures of opposition like hyperbole and figures of repetition such as anaphora, albeit in smaller numbers.The use of these stylistic elements by novice students demonstrates a level of understanding and mastery of stylistics in poetry, despite some figures of speech being rarely or never used. The implication of this research is the need for more intensive development of learning materials and teaching strategies to enrich the variety of language styles used by students, thereby improving the quality and expressiveness of their poetry in the future.

Abstract

INTEGRATION INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN DIGITAL-BASED MID-SEMESTER SUMMATIVE ASSESMENT: IMPLEMENTATION, EFFECTIVENESS AND OPERATIONAL CHALLENGESThis study aims to describe the form of information technology integration in the implementation of digital-based Mid-Semester Summative Assessment (PSTS) at SMK Negeri 1 Kandanghaur, Indramayu Regency, and evaluate its effectiveness in measuring student competencies and identifying implementation challenges. A qualitative approach with a case study was used, with data collection through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis of the PSTS Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The results indicate that the school has adopted the Google Form platform for multiple-choice questions and the Exambro Android application as a test-taking medium. This system has proven effective in improving administrative efficiency, accelerating feedback, and maintaining exam integrity through an application lock feature that prevents access outside the platform. However, there are still findings that indicate that despite the adoption of technology, the assessment transformation has not yet touched the pedagogical essence, namely holistic, valid, and competency-based assessment. Research recommendations include the development of competency-based technical guidelines, ongoing training for teachers, and the provision of free internet access in schools to ensure the fairness and quality of assessments.

Abstract

ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP MODEL OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN FACING EDUCATIONAL DISRUPTION IN THE DIGITAL ERAThe digital era has generated a profound wave of disruption that has reshaped multiple dimensions of human life, including the educational sector. The rapid advancement of information and communication technologies compels school principals to assume roles beyond administrative functions, positioning them as adaptive leaders who are visionary and responsive to the dynamics of digital transformation. This study seeks to elucidate the model of adaptive leadership among school principals in addressing the challenges of educational disruption in the digital age. Employing a qualitative approach through a comprehensive literature review, this research examines diverse academic sources—such as scholarly journals, articles, and books—to identify the principles, strategies, and practices underpinning adaptive leadership in educational institutions. The findings indicate that adaptive leadership emphasizes the principal’s capacity to flexibly navigate technological shifts, articulate a coherent digital vision, foster continuous professional development among teachers, enhance collaborative engagement across the school community, and leverage data-driven decision-making. Adaptive principals serve as agents of change who strategically integrate technology into school management and instructional practices through approaches such as blended learning, digitally oriented project-based learning, and the utilization of Open Educational Resources (OER). Furthermore, adaptive leadership necessitates the preservation of core educational values, including the incorporation of Islamic principles within faith-based school contexts. In conclusion, adaptive leadership constitutes a pivotal factor in enabling schools to successfully navigate educational disruption in the digital era. Principals who embody adaptive leadership are able to transform challenges into opportunities, sustain educational relevance, and cultivate an innovative, collaborative, and competitive school culture amidst the dynamics of global change.

Abstract

FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF THE WALESI CASCADE MINI-HYDROPOWER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN TERMS OF POWER SECTOR ECONOMIC VALUE AND CARBON CREDIT POTENTIALThe development of the Walesi Cascade Mini Hydropower Plant (PLTM) in Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Province, represents a strategic initiative in supporting Indonesia’s energy transition agenda toward achieving the Net Zero Emission (NZE) 2060 target. As part of the renewable energy mix, mini hydropower has significant potential to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, enhance regional energy resilience, and lower carbon emissions in the electricity sector. This study aims to evaluate the economic feasibility and carbon trading potential of the Walesi Cascade PLTM, while assessing its contribution to clean energy provision and climate change mitigation. The economic analysis utilizes several key indicators. The Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) is used to assess total electricity generation costs and demonstrates competitive cost efficiency. The financial analysis shows a positive Net Present Value (NPV), indicating that the project’s benefits outweigh its investment costs. The high Internal Rate of Return (IRR) reflects an attractive investment return. Additionally, the Break-Even Point (BEP) is estimated to be achieved in approximately 8.9 years, and the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) greater than 1 signifies that the economic benefits substantially exceed total expenditures. A favorable Rate of Return (RoR) further strengthens the long-term financial sustainability of the project. From an environmental perspective, this study identifies opportunities for carbon trading through the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM). The potential generation of carbon credits from emission reductions in the Walesi Cascade PLTM plays an important role in accelerating Indonesia’s transition toward sustainable clean energy.

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CHEMICAL LEARNING INNOVATIONS IN THE USE OF E-LKPD EQUIPPED WITH AUGMENTED REALITY BASED ON PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of chemistry learning innovation through the use of e-Student Worksheets (e-LKPD) equipped with Augmented Reality (AR) and developed based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). This innovation is implemented to help students understand abstract chemical concepts and increase their interest and involvement in the learning process. The research method used is a mixed method with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The research subjects included students and teachers at the high school level, namely SMAN 4 Jambi City who have used the e-LKPD in teaching and learning activities. The results of the analysis show that the use of e-LKPD based on AR and PBL is considered effective in supporting the learning process, indicated by increased conceptual understanding, positive student responses to the media, and active involvement in problem solving. This study shows that the integration of technology and contextual learning approaches can be an innovative alternative in developing more interesting and meaningful chemistry learning media.
