Abstract

Abstract The results of the study show that the implementation of PAI in the formation of the character of students can make a positive contribution to the formation of good and noble character. However, it is necessary to take an appropriate and in-depth approach in implementing this program in order to achieve optimal results, how is PAI's contribution in shaping the character of students and its relevance in the era of society, to obtain research data we searched from sources in the form of articles, books and studies that are in accordance with the research objectives, data analysis uses content analysis by understanding the text from the sources obtained, then describes it objectively, systematically, and in detail. Its relevance to the era of society is the use of e-learning multimedia according to the needs of students, so that students are not bored in learning according to the characteristics of millennial students who like content in the form of videos, pictures so that they are more active and understand the material presented easily. in receiving the material delivered with this material little by little affects the character of students, with the hope of developing positive character and minimizing the character of students. Abstrak Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PAI dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembentukan karakter yang baik dan berakhlak mulia. Namun, perlu dilakukan pendekatan yang tepat dan mendalam dalam melaksanakan program ini agar dapat mencapai hasil yang optimal, bagaimana kontribusi PAI dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik dan relevansinya di era society, untuk memperoleh data penelitian kami mencari dari sumber-sumber berupa artikel, buku, dan penelitian-penelitian yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, analisis data menggunakan konten analisis dengan memahami teks dari sumber-sumber yang diperoleh, kemudian menguraikan secara objektif, sistematik, dan terperinci. Relevansinya dengan era society ialah dengan penggunaan multimedia e-learning yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik tidak bosan dalam pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik millenial yang menyukai konten-konten berupa video, gambar sehingga mereka lebih aktif dan mudah memahami materi yang disampaikan dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan dengan materi tersebut sedikit demi sedikit mempengaruhi karakter peserta didik, dengan harapan mengembangkan karakter positif dan meminimalisir karakter peserta didik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi yang ada dalam manajemen sekolah dan madrasah menggunakan metode penelitian data pustaka. Melalui pendekatan ini, penelitian ini menyelidiki dan mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan dengan topik yang dibahas.Data pustaka yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini mencakup buku, jurnal, artikel, dan sumber lainnya yang membahas tentang komunikasi dalam konteks manajemen sekolah dan madrasah. Dalam proses penelitian, analisis komprehensif dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menggambarkan pola komunikasi yang umum terjadi dalam lingkungan manajemen pendidikan ini.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pola komunikasi yang teridentifikasi secara konsisten dalam manajemen sekolah dan madrasah. Pola komunikasi yang ditemukan meliputi komunikasi vertikal antara pimpinan sekolah dengan guru, komunikasi horizontal antara guru dengan guru, dan komunikasi diagonal antara guru dengan siswa atau orang tua. Setiap pola komunikasi ini memiliki karakteristik dan tujuan komunikasi yang berbeda.Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pola komunikasi yang efektif dalam manajemen sekolah dan madrasah. Komunikasi vertikal yang baik memungkinkan pemimpin sekolah untuk menyampaikan kebijakan dan tujuan dengan jelas kepada staf sekolah. Komunikasi horizontal memfasilitasi pertukaran informasi dan kolaborasi antara guru dalam upaya meningkatkan pengajaran. Komunikasi diagonal memainkan peran penting dalam membangun hubungan yang kuat antara guru dengan siswa dan orang tua, yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif dan partisipasi orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anak mereka.Melalui penelitian ini, ditemukan juga beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi pola komunikasi yang efektif dalam manajemen sekolah dan madrasah, seperti kendala waktu, perbedaan persepsi, dan keterbatasan keterampilan komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi diberikan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini melalui pelatihan, pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi, dan penggunaan teknologi informasi yang tepat.Dalam rangka meningkatkan manajemen sekolah dan madrasah, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya pola komunikasi yang baik. Dengan memahami dan menerapkan pola komunikasi yang efektif, sekolah dan madrasah dapat memperbaiki kinerja organisasi, meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, dan memperkuat hubungan dengan siswa, orang tua, dan anggota staf lainnya. Kata Kunci : Pola komunikasi, Manajemen sekolah, Madrasah, Metode penelitian, Data Pustaka, Komunikasi vertical, Komunikasi horizontal, Komunikasi diagonal, Efektivitas komunikasi, Kinerja organisasi Pendidikan, Kualitas pengajaran, Hubungan dengan siswa dan orang tua, Tantangan implementasi komunikasi efektif, Keterampilan komunikasi, Pelatihan dan pengembangan professional, Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan pelajar menjadi suatu keharusan mengingat peran teknologi dalam transformasi pendidikan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat literasi digital pelajar melalui eksplorasi teknologi pendidikan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online pada 20 November 2023, melibatkan 29 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang, termasuk dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru. Abstrak ini membahas pentingnya literasi digital di era digital, merinci metode pengabdian yang melibatkan pemahaman konsep literasi digital, eksplorasi teknologi pendidikan, workshop, dan penyusunan rencana implementasi di lingkungan pendidikan masing-masing peserta. Hasil kegiatan mencakup pemahaman mendalam peserta terhadap literasi digital, pengembangan keterampilan praktis, dan rencana implementasi yang konkret.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa baik sumber belajar yang menggunakan paradigma SOLE (self-organized learning environment) dalam mendukung pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan adalah pendekatan yang akan diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Model 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate merupakan paradigma pengembangan yang digunakan. Pengambilan data uji coba perangkat pembelajaran dari 100 siswa. Metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, observasi berfungsi sebagai semacam analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, model pembelajaran SOLE (self-organized learning environment) dianggap valid sebagai hasil penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan. Nilai rata-rata lebih dari 90 menunjukkan bahwa kinerja siswa telah mencapai KKM, yang menunjukkan keefektifan sumber belajar yang dibuat.

Abstract

Different from education in general, nursing education is dominated by the female gender both in Indonesia and in the world. There is still debate about whether gender has an influence on student achievement, including in nursing education. Research objective is to find out the influence of gender on the achievement of nursing diploma level students who are dominated by female gender. This research is a quantitative research, namely retrospective descriptive. The population in this study were students of the Nursing Diploma Three Study Program with a sample size of 93 students. The sampling technique used in the research was total sampling. The instrument used in this research is secondary data, namely by looking at the documentation of student gender biodata, and learning achievement is the Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) from the student’s Study Result Card after graduation. The statistical test used in analyzing this research is the independent t test; with a significance level of 0.05. Based on bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a relationship between gender and learning achievement with a significance value of 0.03 <0.05. The results indicate that there is a difference in the achievement of female students compared to male students. Female students have an average Grade Point Average of 3.51 with honors, while male students have an average Grade Point Average of 3.44 with a satisfactory grade. From the research it is concluded that there is an influence of gender on the achievement of nursing diploma program students.

Abstract

Quality culture is a value sistem that creates an atmosphere that supports continuous quality improvement in educational institutions. In this article, quality culture is defined as a combination of values, thoughts, symbols, and practices that influence behavior and beliefs within educational institutions. The process of forming a quality culture involves important elements such as ethics, integrity, teamwork, appreciation, and communication, all of which aim to improve the overall quality of education. Factors that shape a quality culture include the environment, values, role models, routine rituals, and communication networks. Strategies for creating a quality culture include understanding, habituation, and giving rewards and sanctions. Through quality culture-oriented management, the five pillars of educational quality—focus on students, total involvement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement—become the foundation for transforming the education sistem. This article also emphasizes the importance of implementing quality culture values ​​in building an education sistem that is ready to face future challenges, based on the principles of fairness, integrity, and continuous learning.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in building quality human resources. An effective and efficient education management system is needed in accordance with the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). This study aims to analyze the integration of the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles with the results of Madrasah Self Evaluation (EDM) assessment as a strategy to realize quality education. This research uses a qualitative method that takes data from a literature review of recent scientific articles related to the principles of TQM and the implementation of EDM. The results show that TQM principles-customer satisfaction, comprehensive involvement, and continuous improvement-can be effectively operationalized through data-based EDM applications. Although the integration of TQM principles with data-based technology such as EDM has not been widely explored empirically in madrasahs, data-based management is considered necessary to be the main foundation of TQM implementation in the madrasah environment. As EDM is one of the tools to support TQM in education, this research seeks to explore the relationship in the context of educational evaluation. The results of this study are expected to make a theoretical contribution to education management.

Abstract

This service activity is intended to explore the potential use of technology to improve digital literacy among students by utilizing the Kinemaster application as an innovative learning tool. Digital literacy is a crucial factor in individual success in a society that relies on information technology, and multimedia applications such as Kinemaster are considered to have a significant role in achieving this goal. The approach applied in this PKM is to provide training to participants, especially students and teachers, on the use of Kinemaster applications to create multimedia content that supports learning. They are taught how to edit videos, add multimedia elements, and produce interesting learning materials through this application. The positive impact of this activity involves improving participants' digital literacy skills, increasing their ability to use technology for learning, and increasing their interest in creative exploration through multimedia. The positive contribution of this PKM is reflected in the development of digital literacy among students, supporting a more interactive and technology-based learning process, and creating opportunities for participants to become more skilled and responsible multimedia content producers.

Abstract

Human resources' capacity and competence greatly determine a nation's competitiveness and ability to compete. The performance of its human resources greatly influences organizational performance. The competitiveness of a country is greatly influenced by the quality and performance of its population. Realizing the importance of the quality of human resources, educational institutions, especially schools and teachers, have a crucial role in preparing students as assets and future successors of the nation. This study uses a qualitative methodology, including interviews, observations, literature analysis, and previous research. The main focus of this study is to investigate educators or teachers in Indonesian schools with similar variables and objects. The unit of analysis in this study involved teachers working in five major cities in Indonesia, while the observation unit included principals, students, and parents of students. A correlation exists between implementing quality management, transformational leadership style and educator performance. Based on the results of interviews, observations, studies of literature and previous studies, implementing quality management that runs well and a transformational leadership style positively affects teacher performance. Suppose schools can design a quality management system and implement a good quality assurance process, where the quality assurance process focuses on administrative and quality processes in academic activities such as learning and teaching. In that case, it will certainly have an impact on teacher performance.
