Abstract

Green Coffee Beans (Coffea canephora P.) and Roasted Robusta Coffee (Coffea canephora L.) contain compounds including caffeine, polyphenols, flavonoids, chlorogenic acid. Chlorogenic acid is a phenolic compound contained in coffee beans which functions as an antifungal and antibacterial. Some infectious diseases caused by Staphylococcus aureus are boils, acne and wound infections and have the ability to inhibit biofilm. Biofilms are aggregates of microorganisms covered by an extracellular polymer matrix produced by microorganisms. This study aims to test the antibiofilm inhibition and destruction of green coffee bean extract (Coffea canephora P.) and roasted robusta coffee (Coffea canephora L.) against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923. The antibiofilm activity test consists of a biofilm formation test, a biofilm inhibition test, and a destruction of biofilm using the Microtitter Plate Biofilm Assay method on extract samples macerated with 96% ethanol. The antibiofilm activity test used concentrations of 2, 4.8, 16 mg/mL. The results of testing the antibiofilm activity of green coffee bean extract and roasted robusta coffee had inhibitory activity with calculated IC50 values of 4.14 mg/mL and 2.13 mg/mL. The results of the crushing activity of green coffee bean extract and roasted robusta coffee with calculated EC50 values were 10.18 mg/mL and 19.32 mg/mL.

Abstract

Determining the leading sector is very important as a basis for policy making to improve the economy of a region. This research aims to identify leading sectors before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in South Sumatra using the Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), Klassen Typology Analysis and Shift Share methods. This research groups districts/cities based on their GRDP contribution using K-Means Clustering. This research shows that the leading sectors before the pandemic were Mining; Water Supply, and Real Estate. During the pandemic, the contribution of agriculture actually increased from the previous year. So after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, the Agriculture, Mining and Real Estate categories became the leading sectors. Grouping districts/cities produces three clusters. The cluster that has the lowest GRDP contribution is in cluster 1 with 14 members from 17 districts/cities in South Sumatra, the cluster that has the very highest GRDP contribution is in cluster 2 with 1 district/city and the rest with high GRDP contributions are in cluster 3 as many as 2 districts/cities. The agricultural category is the basic and prospective category for 64 percent of members in cluster 1. The government should prioritize increasing leading sectors, especially agriculture, to boost the economy in South Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Light Rail Transit (LRT) which has been operated since 2018 in Palembang City has Teman Bus as its feeder. Based on service condition, LRT has fix timetable on every its station but Teman bus does not have timetable. Teman Bus has not provided departure or arrival time on every its halte. This condition concludes that public transportation has lack of adequate service for passengers. Therefore, optimizing timetable scheduling of LRT and Teman Bus is required as one of efforts for improving good public transport facilities. This paper aimed creating simulation of Teman Bus timetable based on real condition with headway and trip time data distribution method with case study in 2021. In addition, Program Linear Method will be used for syncrhonizing Teman Bus timetable and existing Light Rail Transit timetable based on passenger’s behavior to minimize waiting time. The result shows that passengers need 27 second of waiting time while transferring from LRT station to Teman Bus Stop and 60 second of waiting time while transferring from Teman Bus Stop to LRT station.

Abstract

Web-based tuition payment management applications are currently widely used by several educational foundations. The use of web-based applications helps foundations in processing SPP records. In 2022, the school payment application was created with the aim of making it easier for the education entity to pay school tuition bills. This research aims to determine the weaknesses and strengths of the school payment application by evaluating the information about, functions, work systems and controls on the school payment application. The analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses PIECES analysis indicators, namely: Performances, information, economy, control, efficiency, service. From the results of what researchers conducted through interviews and observations, it can be stated that the existence of a school payment application can make it easier for educational foundations to record cash books. However, there are several indicators that still have weaknesses, including control and information systems that need to be developed

Abstract

The aim of this research is to compare the completeness and accuracy of the 2022 BUM Desa financial reports, compare the readiness of organizational commitment, human resources, supporting facilities, salaries/incentives, other aspects, and the BUM Desa strategy in implementing the Guidelines. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research uses a case study method with locus of four Village BUMs with different classifications based on the BUM Desa Ranking. The research results show that all BUM Desa that are the focus of the research have not prepared 2022 financial reports. They just make a cash in and cash out report or a sales and expense report book. All BUM Desa that are the research locus do not have organizational commitment readiness, do not have human resources readiness, do not have supporting facilities readiness and do not have salary/incentive readiness. All Village BUMs that were the research focus mentioned training as another aspect that helps readiness.
