Abstract

The purposed study is to produced crackers that can expand and produced a good surface appearance when cooked with a microwave oven. The research used a random design of factorial groups.The treatments were the formulations of catfish and tapioca (A) and levels microwave (B) (A1=1:2.5,A2=1.2:2.3,A3=1.4:2.1) and (B1=medium,B2=high). The Specified parameters include volume, texture and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). The results showed that treatment of catfish and tapioca(A)formulations and power levels (B) had a real effect on the Volume and Texture of crackers embedded with microwave ovens. The crackers highest volume and the lowest texture are A3B2 (1.4:2.1, high) with a volume of 948.07% and a texture of 133.47 gf. Result of SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) analysis that samples with the highest fish formulation can produced a smoother surface appearance than other treatments.

Abstract

The Bangga Kencana program is one of the BKKBN programs carried out in Serang City. Family planning instructors provide guidance and counseling regarding the golden pride program to the community. The aim of this research is to see the performance of family planning instructors in Serang City. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research results show that the performance of family planning instructors in Serang City is good in terms of time utilization and performance agreements related to abilities and techniques carried out during KIE, completion of reports and responsibility for completing targets. The obstacle to the performance of family planning instructors is the limited number of family planning instructors compared to the number of sub-districts in Serang City.

Abstract

Poverty alleviation is the main goal in the SDGs, RPJPN 2005 - 2025 and RPJMN 2020-2024. Poverty research has been carried out before, but very rarely has it discussed household poverty in the Riau Islands Province. This research aims to identify variables that significantly influence household poverty status in the Riau Islands in 2023. The data used in this research is Susenas data for March 2023 with binary logistic regression analysis method. The research results show that the age of the head of the household (KRT), number of household members, marital status of the KRT, education of the KRT, employment of the KRT, internet access of the KRT, and residence ownership status significantly influence household poverty status. In overcoming poverty, the government can implement family planning programs, socialize the prevention of early marriage, educational programs such as educational assistance, provide business opportunities, programs to improve farmers' welfare, and expand the internet network.

Abstract

Anemia, defined by a hemoglobin or red blood cell count below 12 g/dl, is one of the most common forms of malnutrition globally. Foods rich in iron and folic acid may help people with anemia raise their blood hemoglobin levels. In this experiment, female students with anemia were given cookies made with beef liver flour and peas to see how their hemoglobin levels changed. The study is quasi-experimental in nature, using a control group design with pre- and post-tests. Quota sampling was employed to determine the study sample, which consisted of 25 treatment and comparison groups. The data was analyzed using paired sample t-test and dependent sample t-test. The average hemoglobin level increased from 10.38 g/dl before the intervention to 12.19 g/dl after it, according to statistical testing. The average change in hemoglobin levels between the two measurements was 1.80 g/dl. Afterwards, the statistical test yielded a p value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Giving beef liver cookies and peas has an impact on boosting hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention, according to this formula.

Abstract

Ethical judgment is a major concern especially in the public sector. Unethical incidents (one of which is a bribery case involving a Supreme Court Judge) hinder the realization of good governance. This article discusses the phenomenon of bribery by taking a perspective from the ethical decision-making model. Ethical decision-making can ultimately encourage the realization of good governance. Through a qualitative approach and using secondary data and related literature, this article explains how the ethical decision-making model according to Jamest Rest's four-component model can help prevent and eradicate corruption. By strengthening ethics education, transparency, accountability, enforcing the law, and encouraging public participation, it is hoped that a strong foundation can be built to realize good governance,

Abstract

Global health and nutrition issues highlight the importance of nutritional literacy, which involves understanding food substances and making appropriate dietary decisions. The Ethnostem approach, integrating local knowledge with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), is expected to provide a comprehensive perspective on nutritional literacy. This study aims to map trends and perspectives in food substance research through bibliometrics, focusing on Ethnostem and nutritional literacy. The method used is a literature review with keywords 'ethnostem food testing nutritional literacy' via Publish or Perish and Google Scholar, covering publications from 2018 to 2024, and analysis using VOSviewer. Results indicate a significant increase in publications on nutritional literacy and Ethnostem, particularly in 2023. Bibliometric analysis identifies key clusters, such as the application of Ethnostem education, integration of scientific literacy with indigenous knowledge, and the use of technology in ethno-science education. Data visualization shows interconnections and the temporal evolution of this research. In conclusion, integrating Ethnostem into nutritional education enriches teaching methods and enhances nutritional literacy, emphasizing the need to bridge traditional and modern scientific knowledge for a holistic understanding of nutrition. Further efforts are needed for the practical implementation of ethno-STEM in scientific literacy curricula to improve understanding and health.

Abstract

Air bersih memiliki indikator secara fisik, kimia dan mikrobiologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan indikator air fisik dan mikrobiologi yang menggunakan parameter bakteri Coliform, seperti keberadaan E.coli per ml air sampel. Pemeriksaan air dilakukan setelah menyaring air dengan menggunakan prinsip teknik Gravity Fed Filtering System dan penambahan arang aktif batok kelapa untuk mendapatkan air bersih. Pemberian Arang aktif menggunakan 4 perlakuan dalam penyaringan yaitu penambahan arang aktif sebanyak 50 g, 100 g, 250 g dan 500 g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada takaran 50 g arang aktif dengan komposisi 2 kg pasir dan 2 kg kerikil dan pemakaian spons dapat menyaring air sungai dan sumur dengan karakteristik fisika nya yaitu airnya jernih, tidak berwarna dan tidak berbau. Sedangkan pemeriksaan secara kimianya yaitu memiliki nilai pH 7,33–7,46 yang menunjukkan bahwa pH air memenuhi standar air bersih. Kemudian hasil penyaringan akan dilanjutkan dalam pemeriksaan mikrobiologi. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan mikrobiologis, diketahui bahwa air sampel hasil saringan pada takaran arang aktif 50 g dengan menggunakan media LB dan BGLG tidak mengandung bakteri E. coli dan Coliform. Air hasil penyaringan dengan arang aktif pada takaran 50 g diasumsikan dapat digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food that consumed by 90% of the Indonesian people. Rice producing countries are expected to be able to meet their country's rice needs. The purpose of this study to describe the potential of land for rice farming. Describe the trend of rice productivity development. Analyze the output and outcome of rice agribusiness development system, describe production and consumption trend are felt. Analyze the Farmer Exchange Rate of rice. Analyze the factors that influence farmers' rice production. Analyze the factors that influence farmers' rice consumption. Analyze the strategy of the Design and Construction of the Rice Agribusiness System Development in the PALI Regency area. The research method used accidental sampling with a total of 75 respondents. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The results of this study are he land to be used is first tested for soil, the next step is to carry out the design of potential suitability class. In the actual land suitability class, it is dominated by limiting factor of Production Temperature. Abstract

Local products have distinctive and original flavors from various regions. Bengkulu City is known for producing durian, which is commonly processed into products such as lempok, dodol, pancakes, curry, and chili sauce. Sambal tempoyak, a popular dish, is often stored for extended periods. However, the storage process typically involves refrigeration, which requires special handling when serving. Removing the tempoyak from cold storage can lead to contamination and a reduction in nutritional content due to repeated heating. Therefore, it is important to explore the addition of certain ingredients and determine optimal storage durations to preserve sambal tempoyak. The purpose of this study is to analyze the microbiology and protein levels in sambal tempoyak during storage. The research method used is a completely randomized design (CRD) with treatments at 0 days (A0), 2 days (A1), 4 days (A2), and 6 days (A3).The results of the study showed that the total plate count after 6 days remained within the SNI standard, which is less than 1x104. The protein content was consistent, with an increase in protein levels observed on the third day from 1.52% to 1.64%.The study recommends that sambal tempoyak can be stored for more than 6 days at room temperature. The addition of specific ingredients can act as natural preservatives, supporting the preservation of local products and contributing to a sustainable agroindustry.
