Abstract

Formative assessment is carried out to continue the learning of students during the learning process, then to provide feedback (feedback) for the improvement of the learning program. This research uses the qualitative type of literature study (library research). Formative assessment can improve student learning or lectures. Six key elements informative discussion are cultural class discussion that can support conversation and use of discussion, plan learning and support students in achieving these goals, use appropriate learning methods to meet diverse student needs in the class, use respect for student understanding, provide feedback towards students and adjust learning according to the needs of students in class, and active involvement of students in the learning process. Based on this opinion, every Buddhist lecturer can use Formative Forms to improve the results of his lectures. This means that it is really important to be done by lecturers of Buddhist Education students.

Abstract

The aim of this research to determine the effect of the pedagogical and teachers' personality competencies on the formation of loving-kindness character among Buddhist junior high school students in Temanggung regency. The research method used ex post facto. The research samples totaling 156 students taken by simple random sampling. The data collection used questionnaires. The validity instrument is calculated using product moment formula and the reliability test uses Alpa Cronbach formula. Data research was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the research showed there was a significant influence in the formation of loving-kindness character among junior high school Buddhist students in Temanggung regency through pedagogical competence and personality of the teacher. This is indicated by sig value. 0,00 < 0,05. The magnitude contribution pedagogical competence and teacher's personality to the formation of loving-kindness is 20,8% and the regression line equation is Y = 14.588 + 0.476 X1 + 0.424 X2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian guru terhadap pembentukan karakter cinta kasih peserta didik Buddhis SMP di Kabupaten Temanggung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ex-post facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 156 peserta didik yang diambil dengan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Validitas instrumen dihitung menggunakan rumus product moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpa Cronbach. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter cinta kasih peserta didik Buddhis SMP di Kabupaten Temanggung melalui kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian guru. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig. 0,00 < 0,05. Besarnya sumbangan dari kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian guru terhadap pembentukan karakter cinta kasih sebesar 20,8% dan persamaan garis regresinya Y = 14,588 + 0,476 X1 + 0,424 X2.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the successful improvement of the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence of students at PAUD Adhicitta through dance movements. This research is a class action research applying Kemmis & McTaggart model. The research was performed at PAUD Adhicitta Semarang Regency. The research subjects were ten students, and parents. The techniques and data collection instrument included observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments utilized student and teacher observation sheets. The data analysis of this research applied qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the Puja Bakti Kumandang dance movement was very effective to improve the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence of PAUD Adhicitta students. The effectiveness of the results of the study showed an increase in the intelligence of kinesthetic bodies of students from Cycle I to Cycle III. In Cycle I the kinesthetic intelligence of students was 165 and in Cycle II it had increased to 305. In this second cycle, students' kinesthetic body intelligence increased by 84.84%. In Cycle III the intelligence of students' kinesthetic bodies increased to 327 and to put in percentage, it increased 7.21% from Cycle II. The success of the activities undertaken in this study research was influenced by several factors, such as the student’s condition, attendance, dance movements, environment, peers, teachers, and the support of their parents. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan peningkatan kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa PAUD Adhicitta melalui gerakan tari. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Kemmis & McTaggart. Penelitian dilakasanakan di PAUD Adhicitta Kabupaten Semarang. Subjek penelitian yaitu sepuluh siswa dan orang tua siswa. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi siswa dan guru. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerakan tari Puja Bakti Kumandang sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa PAUD Adhicitta. Keefektifan dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa dari Siklus I hingga Siklus III. Pada Siklus I kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa adalah 165 dan Siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 305. Pada Siklus II ini kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 84,84%. Pada Siklus III kecerdasan badan kinestetik siswa meingkat menjadi 327 dan jika dipersentasikan meningkat 7,21% dari Siklus II. Keberhasilan tindakan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain kondisi siswa, kehadiran, gerakan tari, lingkungan, teman sebaya, guru, dan dukungan dari orang tua.

Abstract

This study examines the perception of religious harmony in the Banyuwangi and Blitar communities, East Java. The aim is to find out about the level of acceptance of Banyuwangi and Blitar people on the reality of diversity of beliefs and religions in Indonesia. In addition, this paper also looks at how the attitudes of the two communities face various impacts on diversity to create inter-religious harmony. With a quantitative descriptive approach through analysis of minimum and maximum frequency (number) and comparison of relative frequencies (percentages) of two data groups, namely Blitar and Banyuwangi communities, this study shows that people in these two cities: (1) are increasingly critical in seeing problems in relations between-religion; (2) see that maintaining relationships, togetherness, and mutual assistance is an obligation in social life; In addition, (3) insights about other religions are very important to develop religious harmony by not only avoiding prejudice, but also building empathy for people of other religions or beliefs. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan Sekolah Minggu Buddhis (SMB) di Griya Samadhi Santighosa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, member check, dan ketekunan pengamatan. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta pengambilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) SMB merupakan kegiatan pendidikan nonformal untuk anak-anak dan remaja Buddhis yang didalamnya diajarkan pendidikan agama Buddha yang dikolaborasikan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan umum dan ketrampilan melalui penyampaian yang menarik bagi siswa. SMB sebagai tempat belajar sambil bermain; (2) Siswa memahami SMB sebagai sarana untuk memperoleh: pengetahuan agama dan umum, keterampilan, sarana bermain, bersosialisasi, dan menambah keyakinan, serta untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang ajaran Agama Buddha. SMB merupakan hal yang penting dan apa yang diperoleh dari kegiatan SMB harus dipraktikkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari; dan (3) SMB mengalami penurunan intensitas kegiatan. This study aims to analyze the activities of the Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) at Griya Samadhi Santighosa. This type of research is a qualitative study with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation study. The validity test of the data is done by triangulation, member check, and persistent observation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of the study show that (1) SMB is a non-formal educational activity for Buddhist children and adolescents in which Buddhist education is taught in collaboration with the improvement of general knowledge and skills through the interesting delivery to students. SMB serves as a place to learn while playing; (2) Students understand SMB as a means of obtaining: general and religious knowledge, skills, means of playing, and socializing, increasing confidence, and finding out more about the teachings of Buddhism. SMB is important and what is obtained from SMB activities must be practiced in daily life; and (3) in reality, SMB, has decreased the intensity of activities.

Abstract

The role of teachers in improving the quality of education include teaching, educating, mentoring and administering. The shortage of teachers in a school will certainly have an impact on the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the adequacy of school operational assistance in meeting the needs of teachers. This study uses a mixed method, the data used are primary and secondary data. Technical data collection using interviews and documentation. From the data obtained, it shows that the monthly payment of SD honoraria in the Telomoyo Cluster Getasan District is in accordance with the implementation guidelines (technical guidelines) and technical guidelines (technical guidelines), although the reality obtained by the average monthly salary received by the PTT GTT still cannot be said to be feasible. It is hoped that this research can provide input for policy makers to always consider the adequacy of BOS Funds in each school, especially in the monthly honorary financing component. The lack of PNS teachers and the number of non-permanent teachers influences the adequacy of school operational assistance, besides the existence of teachers influences the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of making Buddhist song and moves as character education learning media based on the 2013 Curriculum for students of Kenteng 1 Elementary School Susukan Sub district, Semarang Regency. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD) level 4. The techniques for collecting data used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The credibility of the data used is qualitative and quantitative methods. The data analysis technique used a combination of Exploratory Sequential Mixed Methods. Based on the research and discussion that had been carried out, the process of making moves and song based on 2013 Curriculum consisted of several stages as follows: (a) analyze, the teacher needed student-centered learning media and which contains character values. This need was followed up so as to produce two Buddhist song and moves products. (b) design, the steps taken include the creation of musical instruments and song lyrics; development of moves; recorded music, vocals, and moves. (c) develop, products that were developed contained character values ​​such as obedience to worship, tolerance, caring, confidence, responsibility, discipline, and concentration. (d) implement, the product was tested on the first and second grade students, as many as nine students. (e) evaluate, improvements that needed to be considered were musical arrangements and expressions of the performer and song. The end result is the Buddhist song and moves with the title "Namaskhara" and "Learning Mudra" tested in the form of videos on DVD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan gerak dan lagu Buddhis sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan karakter berbasis Kurikulum 2013 bagi siswa SD Negeri Kenteng 1 Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) level 4. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kredibilitas data yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Adapun teknik analisis data yang menggunakan metode kombinasi tipe Exploratory Sequential Mixed Methods. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan maka proses pembuatan gerak dan lagu berbasis Kurikulum 2013 terdiri dari beberapa tahap sebagai berikut: (a) analyze, guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan mengandung nilai karakter. Kebutuhan ini ditindaklanjuti sehingga menghasilkan dua produk gerak dan lagu Buddhis. (b) design, langkah-langkah yang dilakukan meliputi penciptaan instrumen musik dan lirik lagu; pengembangan gerak; rekaman musik, vokal, dan gerak. (c) develop, produk yang dikembangkan mengandung nilai karakter seperti ketaatan beribadah, toleransi, peduli, percaya diri, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan konsentrasi. (d) implement, produk diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas satu dan dua yang berjumlah sembilan anak. (e) evaluate, perbaikan yang perlu diperhatikan yaitu aransemen musik dan ekspresi pelaku gerak dan lagu. Hasil akhirnya adalah gerak dan lagu Buddhis dengan judul “Namaskhara” dan “Belajar Mudra” teruji berbentuk video dalam DVD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasikan masalah yang dihadapi guru PAB dalam proses pembelajaran di SMP Kabupaten Semarang, dan dampak yang ditimbulkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, member check, dan ketekunan pengamatan. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta pengambilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masalah yang dihadapi guru PAB dalam pembelajaran dapat diidentifikasikan sebagai berikut; (1) sedikitnya jumlah siswa beragama Buddha dan memiliki sikap pasif; (2) masalah kesehatan, keluarga, dan rendahnya minat siswa untuk sekolah; (3) tidak tersedianya ruang pembelajaran khusus; (4) keterbatasan sarana prasarana; (5) tidak meratanya droping buku pegangan siswa dan guru; (6) kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap karakter siswa; (7) kurangnya kedisiplinan mengajar dan pembuatan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (8) tidak dilaksanakannya evaluasi hasil belajar siswa secara intensif; (9) tugas tambahan di sekolah; (10) kurangnya dukungan morel dari lingungan sekolah; (11) tidak ada pengawas dan penyelenggara PAB; dan (12) revisi kurikulum serta materi berulang dalam tahun yang sama. Secara umum dampak dari permasalahan tersebut adalah tidak maksimalnya ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran PAB dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence the interests of prospective students to register at Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Getasan. The technique used in this research is to analyze and process the data based on Ishikawa diagram techniques. The results of this study were to determine the strategies that were formulated including: (1) Implementing additional learning and tutoring for students who have prominent academic potential;(2) Developing a local curriculum on entrepreneurship related to food processing subjects such as making geplak waluh; (3) Completing classroom facilities; (4) Optimizing Multimedia and Computer laboratories by organizing their use for Junior High School that do not yet have facilities; (5) Enacting policies that take into account the economic capabilities of surrounding communities for children who attend SMA Negeri 1 Getasan; (6) Implementing policies by considering cross-subsidies especially for students whose parents come from the environment around the school; (7) Establishing better cooperation with the community around the school, especially with regard to certain events; and (8) Scheduling activities targeting junior high school students such as the Festival Band for junior high school or holding an open house on high school anniversaries.

Abstract

The study aims to learn the learning of music creativity.This research uses qualitative methods of descriptive. The subject of this study was the chief of the Temple, the head of Buddhist youth, and members of the band Vijjadara at the Buddhist temple of Bhumika, precisely in the village of Thekelan. The techniques and data collection instruments used are using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data collection instruments using interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and camera or recording device. The way to guarantee the validity of data obtained through persistent observation, triangulation, member check, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data obtained is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method which includes data collection (data collection), data reduction, data presentation (data display), and withdrawal of conclusions or conclusion or verification. The results of the study included three things, namely (a) the process of learning the creativity of the Buddhist youth Thekelan in the band Vijjadara, (b) The creativity gained through the band Vijjadara, and (c) the impact of Thekelan Buddhist youth in the creativity of the group A. The first is concerned with the learning process of music creativity consisting of three phases, namely before (the music personnel prepare the instrument that will be used before the musical practice begins, when (the music personnel did the discussion together afterwards Music exercises and music personnel who are not able to play musical instruments smoothly ask for help to other advisers or personnel), and after the process of learning music creativity (evaluate it together and Back up the instrument that has been used). The results of the second study explained what creativity the young Buddhist youth had acquired through the band Vijjadara.
