Fokus publishes original research or theoretical papers about teaching and learning in Guidance and Counseling study program of IKIP Siliwangi Bandung on current science issues, namely: Guidance and Counseling educator in elementary, secondary and high school level. Guidance and Counseling observers and researchers. Educational decisions maker on regional and national level. We recommend classroom action research, qualitative, descriptive, or quantitative. We may process manuscript of didactic development research (DDR) or research and development (RnD). Our publication could be research on teaching method, an experiment of teaching aid or media, and even effectiveness of lesson study. We accepted any manuscript derived from research of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia. We will not process manuscript from research approach of school management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of self-efficacy at SMK Mahardika Batujajar class XII Accounting and Financial Institutions (AKL) during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive methodology. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this study were 2 Class XII students majoring in AKL. The source of the data was obtained based on the results of recommendations through interviews with BK teachers. The results showed that 2 AKL Class XII students at Mahardika Batujajar Vocational School had low self-efficacy in facing the Expertise Competency Test (UKK) during the covid-19 pandemic, which were generally less confident in their abilities, less able to manage situations, not confident, fear, lack of self-awareness, anxiety, and doubt in making structured plans.Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Pandemic Covid-19

Abstract

For students who have problems regarding academic procrastination at school, this service is very appropriate, because the problems they experience are related to a sense of laziness in procrastinating assignments on the series. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation, responses, constraints, and difficulties in implementing group guidance services for students who have problems regarding academic procrastination. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative using the phenomenological method, in this study the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that group guidance services using self-management techniques for students who experienced academic procrastination carried out in groups were effective because they provided information about the importance of changing student behavior in lazy learning which caused task delays to become better, after carrying out group guidance services students were more can be active, can adjust the time in doing tasks, and have good self-controlKeywords: Academic procrastination, group guidance services

Abstract

This research is motivated by the corona virus pandemic that affects the provision of guidance and counseling services in schools. Group guidance services are provided to students who have learning motivation problems. To support group guidance services, the right technique is needed, namely group discussion techniques. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were class XI students with a sample of 5 students based on the recommendations of the BK teacher and homeroom teacher who tended to have learning motivation problems. The results of the study showed that there was a change in students after being given group guidance services with group discussion techniques compared to before the service was carried out. So that the application of group guidance services can increase student motivation in class XI MIPA 8 at SMAN 2 Cimahi.  Keywords: Group Guidance Service, Group Discussion Technique, Motivation to Learn

Abstract

Conformity is conformity to attitudes and behavior with the values of the rules that apply in the Conformity is conformity to attitudes and behavior with the values of the rules that apply in the individual's social environment. Conformity in adolescent peers seeks and obtains information about the group with the aim that the individual can behave in accordance with the norms that apply in the group. Conformity in the peer environment has two characteristics, namely positive conformity and negative conformity. The purpose of the study was to find out how the implementation of group guidance services was carried out, to find out how students responded during the implementation of group guidance and to know the results of the implementation of group guidance services. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this research are interview, observation and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study were one teacher of guidance and counseling and five students of class XII MIPA 1. Based on the results obtained by researchers, it can be concluded that students have performed conformity behavior, both in a positive direction and in a negative direction. The provision of self-management technique group guidance services is useful for students in adding insight and information about conformity behavior, increasing students' awareness of which conformity behavior is good to do and good to leave. Keywords: : Peer conformity, group guidance, self management techniques

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a tendency to end a task or work until the end of a predetermined time limit. Academic procrastination results in several unfavorable impacts for the perpetrators, such as being left behind in learning. This study uses research and development methods. This study focuses on presenting the results of  validity and reliability of the academic procrastination questionnaire. The results of the validity test of 35 statements given to 85 grade 9 junior high school students showed that there were 32 valid statements with a validity test value of 0.911 where the number was included in the very high category. With this very high category, the questionnaire can be used to collect information about academic procrastination anywhere and anytime. Keywords: Academic Procrastination, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

The learning process will run well if students have good motivation. This study aims to determine the illustration of student motivation in class VIII at Nurul Hidayah Middle School, Pasundan, Cianjur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative case study. The data collection is using interview, observation and documentation techniques. From the results of the data analysis, group guidance services have been provided with role playing techniques through several stages and are going well. In this problem the counseling guidance service used is group guidance service. The description of group guidance service activities with role playing procedures or role games is a learning strategy as part of a coordinated recreation in creating various opportunities for social-social change, creating real events or events that may arise in the future. By using the process of imagination, all students can be involved in the execution, besides the strong developments made by students will make it easier for students to understand the core of the material given.Keywords: Group Guidance, Role Playing Techniques, Learning Motivation

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is group guidance services with sociodrama techniques to improve the discipline of class VIII students. The approach in this study uses quantitative research with experimental methods. The design used in this study was pre-experimental with the type of one group Pre-test and post-test design. This study used 7 subjects in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cipatat T.A 2020/2021. The type of instrument used is a student discipline questionnaire. The results of the study on the final pretest score showed a score of 519 with a percentage value of 62%. While the posttest results showed a final score of 717 with a percentage value of 85%, thus an increase in students after being given treatment. The results of the calculation of the normality test using SPSS 20.0 for windows using a pretest value of 0.200 and a posttest value of 0.200. So it can be shown that the significant value of the pretest is 0.200 0.05 and the posttest is 0.200> 0.05. So it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed (effective). Thus the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads "Group Guidance Services with Effective Sociodrama Techniques, Due to the Positive and Significant Influence on Improving Discipline of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Cipatat for the 2020/2021 Academic Year". Keywords:Group Guidance Services, Sociodrama Techniques, Student Discipline.

Abstract

AbstractSelf-confidence is an main component for the adolencents to grow up to be a person who has good quality life. In the process, the adolencents are often faced with situations what made them have crisis of confidence. Therefore, be required appropriate of instrument which has been tested validity and realibility. The subject of this research were 32 students in grade 7th of Pasundan Tanjungsari junior High School. From the result, there are 7 statement declared valid out of 40 statements and has realibility score 0,652. That way the questionnaire is included in the moderate category, which means that the results obtained will tend to be the same and not much different when tested at different times and subjects. AbstrakKepercayaan diri merupakan komponen penting bagi remaja dalam membentuk pribadi yang memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik. Dalam proses perkembangannya, remaja sering dihadapkan pada situasi yang membuatnya mengalami krisis percaya diri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah alat ukur kepercayaan diri yang tepat dan telah di uji validitas dan relibilitas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan 32 orang siswa kelas VII di SMP Pasundan Tanjungsari. Hasil dari uji validitas terdapat 7 pernyataan yang valid dari 40 penyataan dan memiliki nilai realibilitas sebesar 0,652. Dengan begitu angket termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, yang artinya hasil yang didapat akan cenderung sama dan tidak jauh berbeda apabila di uji cobakan di waktu dan subjek yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of group guidance services with discussion techniques to increase career maturity using google meet media, to find out the responses of teachers and class XII students to group guidance services, discussion techniques using google meet media, to find out the obstacles faced by teachers and students when implementing services. group guidance with discussion techniques using google meet media. The research method used is qualitative method. The sample in this study was 4 students from class XII at SMAN 6 Garut. The data of this study were obtained from the results of observations, documentation, and interviews with BK teachers and students on group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media. The results showed that the implementation of group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media was carried out well. The responses of teachers and students to group guidance services with discussion techniques using google meet media got good results. Obstacles faced by teachers and students in group guidance services with discussion techniques are the absence of quota subsidies from schools and students are sometimes constrained by an inadequate network, BK teachers are also still adjusting to learning using media. So that the delivery of the material that is conveyed is not optimal and students do not understand what the teacher is saying.Keywords: Career Maturity, Group Guidance Services, Discussion Techniques.

Abstract

Social interaction is a reciprocal relationship between individuals with individuals, individuals with groups, and groups with groups, in this study the subjects taken were 5 students at the junior high school level (Junior High School). Students at the junior high school level are generally included in the adolescent phase which is carrying out their developmental tasks for their environment, both in the family environment, around the house and at school. One of the student environments is the school environment where these students have social interactions with teachers, as well as with their classmates. The purpose of this study is to describe how the process of good social interaction for students who have low social interaction in class VIII SMP Ummul Quro Cihampelas during the pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the techniques used for data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the factors of low social interaction in students were having a shy nature, avoiding crowds, limiting friendships, having a psychosomatic history due to being abandoned by their parents, indifferent, happy to be alone, then the results obtained in this study are social interaction profiles. lower grade VIII at Ummul Quro junior high school.Keywords: Social Interaction,  Students
