Abstract

This research aims to map the trends in international scientific publications related to solfeggio-based music education during the period 2016–2025 and to identify its implications for learning in non-music vocational high schools. The method used is a bibliometric study by analyzing data from the Scopus database using the keywords solfege, ear training, sight singing, sight reading, and music pedagogy. The data were analyzed using the VOSviewer tool to map trends, keyword clusters, and research focus. The results show that publications during the period 2021–2025 experienced a significant increase and formed three main clusters, namely music pedagogy and learning design, aural skills, and formal educational contexts such as conservatories. However, there is no focus on non-music vocational education contexts, indicating a research gap. These findings emphasize the need for the development of an inclusive, adaptive, and contextual solfeggio learning model, particularly for vocational high school students who do not have a formal music education background. This study provides an initial contribution in bridging the gap between formal music education studies and the need for musical learning in non-music vocational environments, as well as opening opportunities for the development of applied research in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between principal leadership, school culture, work motivation, and teacher creativity in private elementary schools located in the Central Bogor District, West Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and data analysis using a Structural Equation Modeling approach with the Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS) method. The research sample consisted of 118 respondents, who were assessed using a rating scale for the variables of Teacher Creativity and Principal's Leadership, and a Likert scale for the variables of School Culture and Work Motivation. The results of this study show that the leadership of school principals has a significant role in encouraging teacher creativity in elementary schools. Additionally, the principal's leadership and school culture have been shown to enhance teachers' work motivation. However, work motivation does not directly contribute to increasing teacher creativity. It does not function as a mediator in the relationship between the principal's leadership or school culture and teacher creativity. The implications of this study suggest that there is a need for a leader who can apply a transformational and participatory leadership style, enabling teachers to feel more motivated to develop their skills. In addition, teachers need to actively manage their intrinsic motivation so that they exhibit curiosity, critical thinking, flexibility, a desire to create new ideas, and a practical problem-solving approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for Children with Special Needs (ABK) at SLBN Autis North Sumatera, focusing on three main aspects, namely planning, implementation, and learning assessment. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies, with informants consisting of Islamic Religious Education teachers, principals, and their deputies. All data obtained were analyzed using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning planning begins with an initial assessment to understand the characteristics of students, but the teaching modules prepared by Islamic Education teachers are still general and not fully individualized. Learning implementation is conducted twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, with a flexible and differentiative approach. Teachers use individual and small group strategies, as well as varied learning media such as pictures, videos, and Islamic songs. Teaching and learning activities are also supported by regular principal supervision. Learning assessment is carried out adaptively through written, oral, practical methods, attitude observation, and student involvement in religious activities. However, teachers still face challenges in assessing.
