Abstract

This study aims to examine the profile of basic volleyball service skills among seventh-grade students at Ma'arif Tukdana Junior High School. This study is descriptive in nature with a quantitative approach and uses testing and measurement methods. The participants in this study were 31 male seventh-grade students at Ma'arif Tukdana Junior High School. The instrument used in this study was the volleyball skills test from Russel-Lange. The results of the analysis showed an average score of 24,19 and a standard deviation of 6,42. The results of the volleyball serve test, which was conducted using the volleyball skill test from Russel-Lange, showed that 3 students were in the very good category, 5 students were in the good category, 14 students were in the fair category, 8 students were in the poor category, and 1 student was in the very poor category. The percentage is 10% in the very good category, 16% in the good category, 45% in the fair category, 26% in the poor category and 3% in the very poor category. It can be concluded based on the overall average results of the students that the level of the Volleyball Service Test at SMP Ma'arif Tukdana, Indramayu Regency, in 2025, which had 31 students, using the Russell-Lange volleyball skills test, falls into the adequate category.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang berperan penting dalam menjamin keberlangsungan hidup secara bermartabat. Salah satu tahapan penting dalam pendidikan formal adalah proses pemilihan sekolah lanjutan setelah lulus dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Namun, kenyataannya banyak siswa yang mengalami kebingungan dan masalah dalam menentukan pilihan sekolah lanjutan karena keterbatasan informasi, pengaruh lingkungan, dan kurangnya bimbingan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap permasalahan siswa SMP 8 Sarolangun dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan dengan menerapkan instrumentasi non tes, seperti angket dan wawancara, sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan angket kepada siswa kelas VII dan VIII. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan siswa dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan serta peran layanan bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap sekolah lanjutan umumnya positif dan penuh harapan, namun diwarnai oleh kekhawatiran dan kebingungan akibat keterbatasan informasi dan tekanan dari lingkungan keluarga maupun teman sebaya. Faktor internal yang memengaruhi pemilihan sekolah lanjutan meliputi kualitas sekolah, cita-cita individu, pertimbangan biaya pendidikan, serta dorongan dan pertimbangan orang tua. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal meliputi pengaruh teman sebaya, akses informasi, dan peran guru bimbingan konseling. Penggunaan instrumentasi non tes terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, harapan, dan permasalahan siswa secara objektif. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya layanan bimbingan konseling yang komprehensif dan penggunaan instrumen non tes untuk mendukung siswa dalam mengambil keputusan pendidikan yang tepat sesuai potensi dan kondisi mereka.

Abstract

Guidance counselors play a vital role in the implementation of guidance and counseling programs in schools and are responsible for shaping students' personalities. They help develop students' personalities through counseling sessions and by utilizing opportunities outside of formal counseling hours. This study is a library research aimed at investigating, analyzing, and synthesizing previous research conducted within this field of study. It involves the collection and evaluation of various journal articles, books, research reports, and other relevant sources related to the topic. Students' personalities vary; some are extroverted while others are introverted. More specifically, students exhibit diverse personality types such as sanguine, melancholic, phlegmatic, and choleric. The study also explores guidance counselors’ understanding of these personality types. Sanguine students are enthusiastic and cheerful in learning, yet may act impulsively based on emotions. Phlegmatic students are self-controlled, observant, and critical, but may also be self-centered. Melancholic students tend to be sensitive and emotionally deep. Choleric students are disciplined and responsible but may lack emotional expression. Assertive students are characterized by being firm, opinionated, and critical thinkers.

Abstract

In an effort to address the problem of drug addiction, individual counseling services play a very important role. This service enables counselors to provide direct, face-to-face, and personalized assistance to clients, thereby creating a deep and trusting relationship (rapport). Individual counseling aims to help clients understand themselves, identify their problems, and develop self-regulation and self-control skills in order to overcome addiction and prevent relapse. This journal employs a literature study approach. The findings indicate that individual counseling plays a crucial role in the recovery process of drug addiction. Through a personal and structured approach, this counseling helps build a trusting relationship between the counselor and the client, allowing the client to feel comfortable opening up and addressing their addiction-related problems. The counseling process includes stages of assessment, problem identification, therapy, evaluation, and commitment reinforcement, all of which are designed to support changes in negative behaviors and thought patterns. The factors causing narcotics addiction are highly complex, involving internal aspects such as personality, psychological conditions, and family environment, as well as external factors such as social influences and the easy accessibility of drugs. Therefore, effective individual counseling must be able to accommodate these various factors in a holistic manner. Individual counseling services have been proven effective in the rehabilitation process of clients with drug addiction. Through a personal approach, emotional support, identification of underlying problems, development of coping skills, and periodic monitoring, individual counseling provides a strong foundation for clients to achieve sustainable recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic-based group and individual counseling in strengthening students’ character and morals at MTs Muhammadiyah Curup. Islamic counseling integrates psychological principles with Islamic spiritual values to shape students' behavior and personality in accordance with Islamic ethics. The findings indicate that while Islamic counseling approaches have been included in the school’s guidance programs, their implementation remains suboptimal. Contributing factors include low frequency of counseling sessions, a lack of participatory methods, and limited competencies among counselors in systematically applying Islamic counseling techniques. Furthermore, parental and community involvement in the counseling process is minimal. The study recommends specialized training for school counselors, increased frequency of counseling services, and stronger collaboration between schools, parents, and communities to support character development through Islamic counseling. By enhancing the spiritual and emotional dimensions of counseling, the formation of students’ moral character can be achieved more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Puspita, Sinatrya Tyas. 2026. Improving Mutual Cooperation Character Values Through the Use of Animated Video Media in 3rd Grade Students of SD Negeri 3 Pandean Ngemplak Boyolali. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas PGRI Semarang.This research is motivated by the low mutual cooperation (gotong royong) character values among 3rd-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Pandean, as evidenced by students' egocentric attitudes, lack of cooperation in groups, and the use of conventional and monotonous learning methods. The main objective of this study is to determine the improvement of mutual cooperation character values through the utilization of animated video media in 3rd-grade students of SD Negeri 3 Pandean Ngemplak Boyolali during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 29 students from the 3rd grade. Data collection techniques were carried out through behavioral observations, knowledge tests, and skill assessments. The media used in the intervention included the animated video "Adit Sopo Jarwo" and animated fables from the "Riri Cerita Anak Interaktif" channel, which focus on themes of helping others and mutual cooperation.The results showed a significant improvement in each cycle. In the initial condition (Pre-cycle), the average score for students' knowledge was 55.2, attitude was 58.4, and skills were 53.9, with a completion rate of only 13.8%. After the action in Cycle I, the average scores increased to: knowledge 65.5, attitude 67.1, and skills 60.7. In Cycle II, the improvement reached satisfactory results with an average knowledge score of 80.2, attitude of 83.4, and skills of 85.7. The conclusion of this research is that the use of animated video media effectively improves students' mutual cooperation character values in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan metode studi kasus terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Matur. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pre-test dan post-test, sedangkan untuk sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian kelas control berjumlah 33 siswa dengan menerapkan metode ceramah, kelas eksperimen sebanyak 37 siswa dengan menerapkan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai T tabel = 2,05 < T hitung = 5,288, nilai signifikan 0,417 > 0,05, H0 di tolak, Ha diterima dan hasil uji N-Gain kelas eksperimen78.93%, N-Gain kelas kontrol 25.59% yang menandakan kelaskontrol kurang efektif. Berdasarkan hasil uji T dan uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen lebih unggul dari pada kelas kontrol, sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang signifikan.

Abstract

Character buildingis a fundamental aspect of education at the elementaryschool level as it shapes students attitudes and behaviors. This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by teachers in developing students character values at SD Negeri 2 Bulu Rejo and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation process. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal and fifth-grade teacher. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that character education strategies were integrated into daily school activities through role modeling, habituation, enforcement of school regulations, and contextual learning. The character values developed include religiosity, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, integrity, discipline, andresponsibility. Supporting factors include institutional commitment, active teacher involvement, and a conducive school environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in students family backgrounds, limited instructionaltime, and varying levels of student awareness. These findings indicate that character education requires collaboration between schools, teachers, and families to be implemented effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlu dikembangkannya media pembelajaran kreatif yang dapat meningkatkan semangat dan rasa ketertarikan peserta didik dalam belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada materi Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) khususnya pada siklus air. Dengan adanya media pembelajaran yang menarik, proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rasa semangat peserta didik dan rasa ketertarikan peserta didik dalam belajar dan mengatasi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisa serta mengetahui respons guru dan siswa terhadap Media Animasi Berkearifan Lokal Tri Hita Karana pada Materi Siklus Air Muatan IPA kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, pengumpulan dokumen, dan angket. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah (1) Produk yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini adalah media video animasi kearifan lokal Tri Hita Karana pada materi siklus air. (2) Validitas media pembelajaran secara umum memperoleh penilaian dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, yaitu berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. (3) Ditinjau dari respons guru, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan secara umum memperoleh penilaian dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 4,5. (4) Ditinjau dari respons siswa, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan secara umum memperoleh penilaian dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor dari siswa kelas VA sebesar 4,4 dan siswa kelas VB sebesar 4,6

Abstract

The construction industry is characterized by high occupational risks, where employees simultaneously face physical hazards on-site and psychological pressure due to project deadlines. Two factors considered to have significant influence in this context are Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Job Burnout. This study aims to analyze the influence of OHS and Job Burnout on the performance of construction employees at PT. Widy Kencana Jaya, Kuala Tanjung, North Sumatra, both partially and simultaneously. The study employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative research design. The population and sample consist of all 56 construction employees of PT. Widy Kencana Jaya, selected using saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale 1–5 questionnaire, field observations, and interviews. Instrument tests include validity using Pearson Product Moment correlation (r table = 0.361) and Cronbach's Alpha reliability, all of which were declared valid and reliable. Classical assumption tests include Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, multicollinearity test (Tolerance & VIF), and heteroscedasticity test (Scatterplot). Multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26.0 For Windows yielded the equation Y = 29.709 + 0.449X₁ – 0.528X₂ + e. Results show that: (1) OHS has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t-count = 4.704 > t-table = 2.006; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), thus H₁ is accepted; (2) Job Burnout has a negative and significant effect on employee performance (t-count = 4.508 > t-table = 2.006; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), thus H₂ is accepted; (3) Simultaneously, OHS and Job Burnout significantly influence employee performance (F-count = 53.300 > F-table = 3.172; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05) with Adjusted R² = 0.655, indicating that both variables explain 65.5% of the variation in employee performance, thus H₃ is accepted. These findings imply that improving employee performance in the construction sector requires an integrated approach that strengthens OHS management systems while simultaneously managing employees' psychological conditions to prevent burnout.
