Abstract

This study aims to find out how the politeness and ungguh attitude of the 5th grade students of SD Negeri 3 Lebak is a reflection of the use of a variety of Javanese languages. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Lebak, Pakis Aji sub-district, Jepara Regency. The subjects in this study were students and teachers of grade 5 SD Negeri 3 Lebak. This type of research is a case study qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that the polite and polite attitude of SD Negeri 3 Lebak students as a reflection of the use of the Javanese language variety was shown by students using good language when speaking, kissing hands or greeting the teacher, and smiling, greeting, and greeting the teacher. These three things are a form of polite and arrogant attitude of SD Negeri 3 Lebak students.

Abstract

Kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dan pembelajaran yang monoton saat proses belajar mengajar dapat mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah digunakannya media papan diagram. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V SDN Sambonganyar dengan jumlah subjek 25 siswa, penelitian menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus dengan 4 tahapan. 1). perencanaan, 2). Pelaksanaan, 3). Observasi, 4). Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis data meliputi data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian Hasil Belajar siswa ranah kognitif pada prasiklus menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 60% dengan hasil ketuntasan klasikal 56%, penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 73% dan siklus II 90% dengan peningkatan siklus I ke Siklus II 17% dengan hasil ketuntasan klasikan 92%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif siklus I memiliki rata-rata sebesar 67% dan pada siklus II sebesar 81% dengan peningkatan 14%. Hasil belajar ranah psikomotorik siklus I memiliki rata-rata 61% dan siklus II 78% dengan peningkatan 17%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sambonganyar dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan digunakannya media papan diagram dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The low context of students' writing abilities, especially in creative forms like composing traditional rhyming quatrains (pantun), is caused by the students' lack of self-confidence in expressing their creative ideas, as well as feelings of boredom and disinterest in the classroom due to the limited variation and innovation in the instructional models employed by educators. Therefore, in this study, one proposed approach to address this issue is the implementation of an environmental learning instructional model.The method utilized for this research is a quasi-experimental design. Data was gathered through trial tests and data analysis. Pre-test and post-test data were collected from both the experimental and control groups of seventh-grade students at SMPN 6 Lembang. The research findings reveal several significant observations: Firstly, a notable improvement in creative writing abilities concerning traditional rhyming quatrains was observed in the seventh-grade class, particularly within the experimental group. The average scores between the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group increased from 64.5 to 82.33, while in the control group, the scores increased from 59.833 to 74.66. Secondly, students in the experimental group exhibited enhanced mastery of creative writing skills in traditional rhyming quatrains, especially with the aid of the environmental learning instructional model. In this context, the model demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing the creative writing abilities of the students. Lastly, a significant disparity in the utilization of the Canva application within the instructional models was observed between the experimental group and the control group. Statistical table outputs indicate an Asymp.sig value of 0.001, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05. This signifies a substantial difference in the effectiveness of the Canva application in enhancing creative writing abilities in traditional rhyming quatrains between the experimental group and the control group. Consequently, the results of this research substantiate the efficacy of the environmental learning instructional model in conjunction with the Canva application to foster the development of creative writing abilities in traditional rhyming quatrains among seventh-grade students Keywords: Writing, Environmental Learning Model, Pantun, Canva.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning of slow learners and find out the causes of slow learning among students in the class IV B SD Negeri Petir 3 Tangerang city. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the analysis in this study showed that there were three slow learners in class IV B SD Negeri Petir 3 Tangerang city. The three slow learners in learning activities often lag behind their friends, getting grades below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), more passive, less focused when the teacher explains the material, and difficulties in memorizing and understanding. This is because the cognitive slow learning students are limited, so that every time they work on a problem given by the teacher, the answers are not in accordance with the questions and are filled in as best they can. This makes it difficult for teachers, because they do not only focus on students with special needs but also regular students. There are factors that cause the three students to learn slowly in class IV B namely Poverty factor and Parental Intelligence Factor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a film using Tzvetan Todorov's theory which is then used for teaching narrative texts in junior high schools. Film is one of the creations of humans that contains entertainment, education, about messages, about life and films can be a powerful tool to educate and indoctrinate the audience. This study examines a narrative element analysis film, especially the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya. This film depicts a father who lives alone with his daughter. This study aims to analyze the narrative elements contained in the film. Narrative In this film contains a message that a father who fights for his daughter so that all her wishes come true. The method used is a qualitative methodology using Tzvetan Todorov's narrative analysis. The technique of collecting data from this study is in the form of observation and documentation. The results of this study show the initial groove, middle groove and final plot. The conclusion of this study is that the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya is a film with a family theme full of education, depicting the very important role of the father in the family.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the symptoms of low levels of independent learning and student learning motivation. This is because there are still many students who only memorize mathematical formulas but do not understand mathematical concepts. This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and learning independence on mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary school students. The analysis used in this survey method is multiple regression analysis. The reachable population in this study were all fourth graders of Pakulonan 01 Public Elementary School, South Tangerang City. The sample studied was 30 students consisting of grades IV A and IV C. Data collection techniques used test instruments and questionnaires. The hypothesis testing shows that: (1) There is a significant influence between learning motivation on the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary school students by 17.1%. (2) There is a significant influence between learning independence on mathematical reasoning abilities in elementary students of 16.2%. (3) There is a significant influence between the influence of learning motivation and learning independence on the mathematical reasoning abilities of elementary students by 14.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the intrinsic elements in the novel Rembulan Sinking di TFacemu by Tere Liye. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a structural approach. Data collection techniques used include recording and reading techniques, as well as documentation. The results of the study are, (1) the intrinsic elements contained in Tere Liye's novel The Moon Sinks in Your Face include theme, plot (early stage, middle stage, and final stage, setting (place, time, and atmosphere), characters and characterizations, point of view (third person), and language style (sarcasm, hyperbole, personification, metaphor, simile, parallelism, allegory, metonymy, and repetition), (2) the conflicts of characters contained in the novel Rembulan Sinking di TFacemu by Tere Liye include inner conflicts and physical conflicts, as well as internal conflicts and external conflicts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning outcomes in mathematics among students who are taught using the methodproblem solving with students who are taught using conventional methods. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with a research designnonequivalent control group design. The population subjects in this study were all of class IV at SDN Petir 3, by taking samples of two classes, namely class 4A and 4B which consisted of 30 students from class 4A as the experimental class and 28 students from class 4B as the control class. Data collection techniques using a mathematical test instrument in the form of multiple choices. To test the pretest hypothesis in this study using a testindependent samples test from the t test obtained a significance value of 0.757 > 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the average pretest scores of the control class and the experimental class. Whereas for testing the post-test hypothesis from the results of the t test obtained a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class. This can be interpreted that the results of student learning by using the methodproblem solving higher than using conventional learning methods.

Abstract

Learning mathematics is one of the subjects that students are less interested in. One of the reasons is that mathematics is a subject that is difficult to understand or understand. The low interest of students in learning mathematics causes low student learning scores in mathematics. This study aims to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties in fifth grade students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of kuesioner interviews. and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation. Data is analyzed through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects in this study were students and teachers of class V with a total of 16 respondents, namely teachers of class V and students of class V. Based on the results of the study it was found that there were factors of learning difficulties in mathematics that caused low student learning scores.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Role of Teachers in Motivating Learners in Learning Mathematics Class V SD Negeri Kalideres 05 Pagi West Jakarta, the purpose of this research is to find out the role of teachers in motivating student learning in learning mathematics class V SD Negeri Kalideres 05 Pagi West Jakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 1 teacher, 2 students, and 1 parent of grade V students. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Kalideres 05 Pagi West Jakarta. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation of the role of teachers and students' learning motivation, then interviewing 1 teacher, 2 students, and 1 parent, and supported by documentation. The results of the research conducted show that the role of the teacher in motivating students' learning has basically tried to carry out its role to arouse students' learning motivation by providing encouragement in the form of praise and encouraging words to students. However, the way teachers provide motivation is not enough to generate motivation to learn mathematics.
