Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode permainan kalimat berantai terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Jugo Kecamatan Donorojo Kabupaten Jepara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 3 SD Negeri 1 Jugo yang berjumlah 5 peserta didik dengan 2 peserta didik laki-laki dan 3 peserta didik perempuan. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui metode observasi dan metode test (pretest dan posttest). Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode permainan kalimat berantai dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas 3 SD Negeri 1 Jugo Kecamatan Donorojo Kabupaten Jepara, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil keterampilan berbicara peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen tersebut baik peningkatan pada tiap peserta didik maupun pada peningkatan kelas dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan metode permainan kalimat berantai terhapap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas 3 SD Negeri 1 Jugo.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class 4 of SDIT Insan Mulia Semarang in the first semester of 2023 with 20 students. The purpose of this research was to find out information regarding the use of the talking stick learning model, especially in Pancasila Education learning, on the enthusiasm for learning of class 4 students at SDIT Insan Mulia Semarang. With research actions, namely learning activities without using the talking stick method and learning activities using the talking stick method. The research method used is a qualitative method in the form of observation. The research was carried out by observing grade 4 teachers and grade 4 students at SDIT Insan Mulia Semarang. The research results obtained show that class 4 students are more contributing and enthusiastic in learning Pancasila education using the talking stick model.

Abstract

The background to this research is that teacher performance is still low. The less skilled managerial skills of school principals cause low teacher performance. Poor academic supervision also causes low teacher performance and low teacher job satisfaction can influence low teacher performance which leads to the quality of achieving educational goals. This research aims to (1) describe the influence of school principals' managerial skills on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Brebes District; (2) describe the influence of academic supervision on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Brebes District; (3) describe the influence of teacher job satisfaction on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Brebes District; and (4) describe the influence of the principal's managerial skills, academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Brebes District. The population of this research was all state elementary school teachers in Brebes District, Brebes Regency, totaling 440 people, a sample of 210 teachers determined using proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis calculated using the SPSS for Windows version 23. The research results show: (1) there is a significant influence of the principal's managerial skills on teacher performance which is expressed in the equation Y= 104.859 + 0.196X1, the strength of the correlation is 0.593 with an influence of 0.352 or 35.2%; (2) there is a significant influence of academic supervision on teacher performance which is expressed in the equation Y= 108.318 + 0.171X2, the strength of the correlation is 0.473 with an influence of 0.224 or 22.4%; (3) there is a significant influence of teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance which is expressed in the equation Y= 99.285 + 0.217X3, the strength of the correlation is 0.530 with an influence of 0.281 or 28.1%; and (4) there is a significant influence of the principal's managerial skills, academic supervision, and teacher job satisfaction together on teacher performance which is expressed in the equation Y = 80.531 + 0.210X1 + 0.233X2 + 0.651X3, the strength of the correlation between X1 and Y is equal to 0.0593, the correlation of X2 to Y is 0.473 and the correlation of X3 to Y is 0.530 with an influence of 0.678 or 67.8%. The conclusion of this research is that the principal's managerial skills, academic supervision, and teacher job satisfaction have an influence on teacher performance by 67.8%. The author suggests that the principal's managerial skills, academic supervision, and job satisfaction are determining factors for teacher performance, so school principals must take part in training to improve managerial skills, carry out academic supervision well and create job satisfaction so as to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

Student satisfaction is very important in achieving educational goals. However, student satisfaction is not yet optimal. This is influenced by several factors: the quality of school services, the leadership of the school principal and learning facilities are important factors in determining the level of student satisfaction. The aims of this research are: (1) to determine the magnitude of the influence of school service quality on the satisfaction of Muhammadiyah Vocational School students throughout Jepara Regency; (2) to determine the magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership on the satisfaction of SMKS Muhammadiyah students throughout Jepara Regency; (3) to determine the magnitude of the influence of learning facilities on the satisfaction of SMKS Muhammadiyah students throughout Jepara Regency; (4) to determine the magnitude of the influence of school service quality, school principal leadership, learning facilities on the satisfaction of Muhammadiyah Vocational School students throughout Jepara Regency. This research uses quantitative research with a non-experimental ex post facto type of research. The population in this study were 301 Muhammadiyah Vocational School students in Jepara Regency with a sample of 151 people using proportional random sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, requirements testing and hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression with the SPSS version 20 program. The results of this research state that: (1) there is a significant influence of school service quality on student satisfaction with a large influence of 12% with the school service quality category being quite good; (2) there is a significant influence of the principal's leadership on student satisfaction with an influence of 6.4% and the principal's leadership category is quite good; (3) there is a significant influence of learning facilities on student satisfaction of 10.5% with the learning facilities category; (4) there is a simultaneous influence of service quality, principal leadership, learning facilities on student satisfaction with an influence of 17.8% with the level of satisfaction is quite good; (5) the total effective contribution is 17.73% with relative contribution (SR), SR X1 is 54%, SR X2 is 12% and SR X3 is 34%.

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in the world of education. Improving the quality of education is determined by efforts to improve teacher professionalism. Therefore, the role of the principal is needed in improving teacher professionalism. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the role of the principal as a manager in improving teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Mranggen and to describe and analyze the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Mranggen. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. This type of research is a case study. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that: (1) The principal has prepared a RKAS in which there is a plan to increase teacher competence, competency-based education and training programs, and planning PKB activities. All teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Mranggen have met the educational qualification standard, namely S1, even 15 teachers have S2 certificates. (2) The headmaster together with the curriculum team have prepared a teacher academic supervision program in accordance with the procedure. However, the implementation of teacher supervision at SMP Negeri 1 Mranggen is only carried out once a year, not per semester.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an urgent problem and is deemed necessary to receive serious attention and treatment from various related parties. This is closely related to school leadership and management. Apart from that, in improving the quality of education you must pay attention to all aspects of a school, including input, process and output. The quality of education is deemed necessary to make improvements and changes in various sectors, including leadership and management. The success of a school will only be able to be carried out by effective management, effective management can only be carried out by professional leadership. The things that leaders as managers need to do are: planning and evaluating, organizing, directing and supervising, and monitoring continuous evaluation for further action. This research describes the role of school principals in improving the quality of education through School Based Management implemented at SD Negeri Kubangpari 02, Kersana District, Brebes Regency with the formulation of the research problem: What is the role of leadership in improving the quality of education, How is the management of school principals in improving the quality of education through Based Management Schools, What are the supporting factors and obstacles in improving the quality of education through School Based Management. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a naturalistic phenomenologic type. Research data was obtained using involved observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. Key informants in this research, the principal and teacher.

Abstract

This research aims to describe “The Implementation of Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project Management at SDIT Permata Bunda Demak". Implementation includes: (1) planning; (2) implementation; (3) and evaluation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case study design. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The research informants were the School Principal, District Elementary School Supervisor, Teachers, School Committee and Students. Data obtained from informants and research subjects were analyzed using qualitative data. Meanwhile, checking the validity of the data uses source triangulation. Based on the results of research on the management implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Project, it can be concluded: (1) planning begins with work meetings with teachers, analyzing educational report cards, making KOSP, making P5 modules, preparing the Annual School Work Plan, and determining the P5 team as the person in charge, ( 3) implementation by determining the allocation of P5 time and activities according to the P5 module, (4) evaluation is carried out by the school principal periodically through evaluation meeting. Overall, the implementation of the project to strengthen Pancasila students at SDIT Permata Bunda has been carried out well. What needs to be improved further is teacher understanding regarding P5.

Abstract

The success of teacher professionalism is largely determined by the success of the principal in managing the teaching and educational staff in the school. The school principal is one component of education that has an influence in increasing teacher professionalism. The school principal is responsible for organizing educational activities, school administration, developing teaching staff, utilizing and maintaining facilities and infrastructure. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the influence of academic superstition on teacher professionalism (2) to determine the influence of job satisfaction on teacher professionalism (3) to determine the influence of academic supervision and job satisfaction together on teacher professionalism of elementary school teachers in Kembang District, Jepara Regency. The population of this study were teachers at 42 elementary schools in Kembang District, Jepara Regency, totaling 310 people, a sample of 175 teachers selected using proportional random sampling technique at each school. Validity, reliability and descriptive data analysis tests, single regression and multiple regression tests using the SPSS for Windows version 23 program. Research findings: (1) the influence of academic supersition on teacher professionalism is 14.4% with the regression equation Ŷ = 70,987 + 0.328 X2. (3) the influence of academic supervision and job satisfaction together on on teacher professionalism is 22% with the regression equation Ŷ = 42.655 + 0.206X1 + 0.403X2, Based on the findings above: (1) the principal intensifies the evaluation of supervision results, (2) the principal increases supervision in the main work tasks of teachers, (3) teachers increase involvement in school activities.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is that teachers experience difficulties in stimulating problem-solving abilities in terms of symbolic thinking, including mentioning number symbols. Children experience confusion when the teacher asks the child to name the number symbols on the number cards provided by the teacher. In stimulating critical thinking skills in children, teachers experience difficulties in generating children's interest in asking questions during learning activities. Children tend to be quiet when teachers stimulate them during scientific activities and/or other activities during the teaching and learning process. The problem in this research is whether loose part learning media is effective in improving the problem solving and critical thinking abilities of Al Mubarok Kindergarten children. The aim to be achieved in this research is to determine the effectiveness of loose part learning media on children's problem solving and critical thinking abilities. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were students at Al Mubarok Kindergarten. The sample from this research was group A students at Al Mubarok Kindergarten. The number of respondents consisted of 14 students from group B1 and 15 students from group B2. The data in this research was obtained through questionnaires and observations.The research results show the following correlation values: The t test for the control group's problem solving ability shows a sig. 0.06 > 0.05, meaning there is no significant difference in the average value of the control group's problem solving abilities. The t test of the experimental group's problem solving ability showed a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there is a significant difference in the average value of the experimental group's problem solving ability. The t test of the average critical thinking ability value of the control group shows a sig value. 0.06 > 0.05, meaning there is no significant difference in the average value of the control group's problem solving abilities. The t test for the average critical thinking ability of the experimental group shows a sig value. 0.000 > 0.05, meaning there is a significant difference in the average value of the critical thinking ability of the experimental group. Thus, it can be concluded that loose part learning media is effective in improving children's problem solving and critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) Describe students' learning motivation in learning with the PBL and PjBL models, 2) Describe students' critical thinking abilities in learning with the PBL and PjBL models, 3) Analyze the differences in learning motivation and students' critical thinking abilities in learning with PBL and PjBL models. The population in this study was class V students at SDN Tumbrep 01, SDN Tumbrep 02 and SDN Toso 02 in 2022/2023, totaling 67 students, with a total sample from the population. Data collection techniques use test, questionnaire and documentation techniques. . The analysis used includes quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Analysis to test the hypothesis used the ANOVA test, where previously the data was tested for normality, homogeneity and linearity. Qualitative data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results obtained from qualitative analysis show that there is a significant difference between the PBL model and the PjBL model on students' critical thinking abilities and learning motivation. This can be seen from the average value of critical thinking skills and learning motivation of experimental class students who study with Problem Based Learning which is greater than the average value of the class which studies with the Project Based Learning model. This proves that the Problem Based Learning model has a positive influence on students' critical thinking abilities and learning motivation.The conclusions of this research are (1) there is a difference in the influence of the PBL and PJBL models on the critical thinking abilities of class V students at SDN Tumbrep 01, SDN Tumbrep 02 and SDN Toso 02, (2) there is a difference in the influence of the PBL and PJBL models on the learning motivation of class V students SDN Tumbrep 01, SDN Tumbrep 02 and SDN Toso 02, (3) the PBL model has a greater influence than the PjBL model on the critical thinking skills and learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Tumbrep 01, SDN Tumbrep 02 and SDN Toso 02.
