Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pesan pada materi dongeng di kelas III SD Negeri Kemijen 03 Kota Semarang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran wayang hewan dalam materi dongeng untuk siswa kelas III. (2) Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media pembelajaran wayang hewan dalam materi dongeng untuk siswa kelas III. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseach and Development) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan. Menggunakan langkah-langkah penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validasi ahli media memperoleh hasil validasi 98% sedangkan hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh hasil validasi 98%. Kesimpulannya pengembangan media pembelajaran wayang hewan termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” dan memenuhi kriteria layak. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan dengan menggunakan angket kepraktisan guru kelas 3A diperoleh 100% sedangkan guru kelas 3B memperoleh 100% dan berdasarkan angket tanggapan siswa kelas 3A dan 3B memperoleh 100%. Kesimpulannya pengembangan media pembelajaran wayang hewan termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” dan dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai media pembelajaran di dalam kelas untuk memahami amanat dalam kelas.

Abstract

The normalization of harsh and abusive language on social media has become a significant social phenomenon in contemporary digital communication. This study aims to analyze the normalization of offensive speech on social media from the perspective of Islamic moral education and to examine its implications for moral development, particularly among young users. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using library research as the primary method. Data were collected from books, scholarly journals, and credible digital sources related to Islamic ethics, moral education, and social media communication. The analysis was conducted through content analysis to identify patterns, themes, and moral implications of harsh language usage in digital spaces. The findings indicate that the normalization of abusive speech is influenced by the openness, anonymity, and rapid interaction patterns of social media, which gradually shift social norms and reduce sensitivity toward ethical communication. From the perspective of Islamic moral education, such practices contradict fundamental principles of akhlak, particularly the obligation to maintain respectful speech and self-control in communication. The study highlights the urgent need for strengthening Islamic moral education that emphasizes ethical digital communication, self-discipline, and moral awareness in social media usage. This research contributes theoretically to Islamic education studies by offering a moral framework for addressing communication challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Understand the description of the application of the Round Robin type cooperative learning model at SMPN 1 Makale Selatan, 2) Understand the description of the public speaking abilities of class VII students after implementing the Round Robin type cooperative learning model and 3) Understand the influence of the Round Robin type cooperative learning model on public speaking abilities. The research used a quantitative experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 60 students divided into experimental classes and control classes. The research results show that 1) The implementation of the Round Robin type The research results show that 1) The implementation of the Round Robin type cooperative learning model is effective, demonstrated by the students' ability to wait their turn to speak, convey ideas in turns, listen to each other and the active involvement of all group members so that learning participation is even. 2) Class VII students' public speaking abilities increased significantly in the experimental class with an average post-test score of 76.63. This increase is reflected in indicators of public speaking ability, namely speaking fluency, accuracy in word choice, understanding of content/themes, flow of delivery, intonation and eye contact. 3) The application of the Round Robin type cooperative learning model has a significant influence on students' public speaking abilities as proven through the independent sample t-Test with a significance value of 0.003.

Abstract

This study aims to the determine the significance of the influence of the role playing learning model on self confidence and learning outcomes of mathematics subjects in grade III of elementary school. This study uses a quasi experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. This study used an experimental class and a control class with a total of 44 student. The experimental class uses a role playing learning model and the control class uses a lecture learning model. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 22. The results of this study showed that the experimental class had an average (mean) of 67.63 while the control class had an average (mean) of 59.35, based on the results of the t-test obtained student self confidence showed a Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 furthermore, on the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class had an average (mean) of 84.00 while the control class had an average (mean) 0f 75.00, based on the results of the t-test obtained student learning outcomes showed a Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 this proves that the role playing learning model significantly influences the self confidence and learning outcomes of third grade student a public elementary school 1 Panunggul.

Abstract

This research was conducted at RA Ummul Quro Wijaya in Percut Sei Tuan District. This research discusses the role of Hajj simulation activities in shaping the religious values of early chilhood. This research aims to determine the role of the Hajj simulation activity on children’s religious values at RA Ummul Quro Wijaya. This research uses descriptive qualitative research involving two teachers. Data was collected thru interviews, observations, and documents. The data was analyzed qualitatively thru data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the positive impacts observed from this Hajj simulation activity are that children are able to learn about the fifth pillar of Islam, children are able to perform the pillars of Hajj, children are able to learn about religion from an early age, and this will accustom children to doing good deeds. The Hajj ritual activity in shaping religious values in children is also influenced by supporting and hindering factors.

Abstract

Low internalization of character values and increasing learning distractions such as lack of focus, student chatter, and declining discipline have become significant challenges in madrasah learning. To address these issues, MTsN 2 Kota Tangerang developed and implemented the Love-Based Curriculum (Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta/KBC), a curriculum that emphasizes values of compassion, empathy, responsibility, and love for God, others, and the environment. These values are integrated into both classroom learning processes and daily school culture. This study aims to describe the process of character formation among seventh-grade students through the implementation of KBC, analyze the pedagogical challenges faced by teachers, and identify strategies for strengthening character through the written curriculum and the hidden curriculum. The research employs a qualitative- descriptive approach through direct classroom and school environment observation, in-depth interviews with curriculum coordinators and seventh-grade teachers, and documentation of learning interactions based on love-oriented values. The data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of character internalization within students’ learning experiences. The findings show that the implementation of KBC has positive effects on students’ spiritual and social character development. Most students understand the concept of KBC, perceive teachers as role models, and experience improved emotional regulation, empathy, responsibility, and cooperation. Field observations also indicate increased learning motivation, improved discipline in religious practices, and greater care for environmental cleanliness. However, challenges such as lack of focus and verbal distractions remain. To address these issues, teachers apply reflective learning strategies, consistent habituation, peer appreciation, and an affective approach that positions students as the central subjects in the character formation process.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of social media and popular culture on the behavior of fifth-grade students and explores strategies for strengthening media literacy at SDN 24 Batangase. In the digital era, elementary school students are increasingly exposed to various social media platforms and popular culture trends that shape their communication patterns, learning motivation, and social behavior. The objectives of this research were to analyze the level of social media use among students, identify its positive and negative impacts on student behavior, determine factors contributing to low media literacy, and formulate recommendations for media literacy reinforcement in schools. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative data, using observations, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade students, classroom teachers, and parents. The findings indicate that social media and popular culture significantly influence students’ language use, learning concentration, social interaction, and self-confidence. While some students benefit from educational digital content, many experience decreased focus and tend to imitate viral trends without critical evaluation. The results also reveal that students’ media literacy skills are still limited, particularly in evaluating content credibility, digital ethics, and online safety. Therefore, strengthening media literacy through collaborative efforts involving schools, teachers, and parents is essential. Integrating media literacy into learning activities, utilizing popular culture positively, and providing continuous guidance are recommended to help students develop critical, responsible, and character-based digital behavior.

Abstract

The implementation of Project Based Learning (PJBL) in Cultural Arts and Skills learning at MI Darul Ulum 02 Kudus aims to overcome student boredom with conventional methods and enhance creativity and artistic talent potential. This qualitative descriptive study involved 33 third-grade students, employing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. PJBL was applied through stages of preparing students and lesson plans, executing the project-based activities including comic creation in groups, monitoring progress, and reflecting on the outcomes. Results indicate increased student engagement, collaboration, and creativity, with the comic project serving effectively to develop artistic skills and foster responsibility. This study confirms that PJBL enhances learning quality by making art education more meaningful and motivating for elementary students.

Abstract

Rapid social change and the development of digital technology have created serious ethical challenges in social life and among students. Declining social awareness, unethical communication practices, and the misuse of social media indicate the importance of strengthening moral personality attitudes as the foundation of ethical behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of moral personality attitudes in fostering ethical social life among society and students. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by examining relevant academic articles obtained from Google Scholar published over the last ten years. Data were analyzed through identification, selection, and narrative synthesis of research findings. The results indicate that moral personality attitudes play a crucial role in shaping responsible, tolerant, and ethical behavior in both real-life and digital social interactions. Strengthening moral personality through moral education and digital literacy contributes significantly to reducing unethical behaviors such as the spread of misinformation, hate speech, and intolerance. Therefore, continuous development of moral personality attitudes through education, family, and community involvement is essential to create ethical and civilized social and student life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning problems experienced by third-grade students at Antonius V Private Elementary School Medan in their daily learning activities using a descriptive qualitative approach. The background of this research is based on classroom findings indicating that students’ learning problems are not only related to academic aspects but are also closely associated with learning motivation, attention, and daily learning behavior. This study was conducted in a private elementary school in Medan City. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with the classroom teacher, and documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the main learning problems in students’ daily learning include gaps in basic literacy and numeracy skills, low learning motivation, short attention spans, passive learning behavior, and students’ dependence on teacher directions. These problems are influenced by both internal student factors and external learning factors. This study provides empirical and contextual classroom-based evidence on the interrelation between literacy, learning motivation, and learning behavior among lower elementary students.
