Abstract

This study aims to diagnose learning difficulties experienced by sixth-grade students at SDN 08 VII Koto Sungai Sariak. The diagnosis was conducted through direct classroom observation, interviews with teachers, and a literature review on indicators of learning difficulties. The results of the study show that several students have difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts, reading and writing, as well as critical thinking skills. The contributing factors include teaching methods that are not fully aligned with students' learning styles, lack of individual attention, and family background. These findings provide a basis for teachers to design differentiated learning strategies and appropriate interventions so that each student can achieve competencies according to curriculum standards.

Abstract

Physics learning in elementary schools plays an important role in building scientific understanding, logical thinking, and curiosity from an early age. However, physics concepts are often perceived as abstract and difficult by students when taught through conventional methods. This article aims to examine the exploration of physics concepts through play-based activities and simple experiments in elementary schools. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing textbooks, research articles, and relevant educational references. The results of the study indicate that play-based learning and experimental activities can enhance students’ conceptual understanding, motivation, and scientific process skills. Therefore, integrating play and experimentation in physics learning is essential to create meaningful, enjoyable, and effective learning experiences in elementary education.

Abstract

Manajemen berarti mengatur, mengurus atau mengelola suatu dengan berbagai pihak agar mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Manajemen peserta didik merupakan perencanaan untuk peserta didik dimulai dari masuk sekolah hingga mereka lulus. Perencaan ini termasuk minat dan bakat peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai manajemen peserta didik yang seharusnya untuk menumbuhkan karakter peserta didik sendiri dimulai dari perencaan peserta didik baru, penerimaan peserta didik, pengelolaan peserta didik dari masuk sekolah sampai mereka lulus. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan kajian kepustakaan, yang mana hal ini peneliti berusaha untuk menggambarkan pengelolaan atau manajemen peserta didik. Manajemen peserta didik akan memusatkan perhatian pada perencanaan, pengaturan, pengawasan dan layanan siswa baik di kelas maupun di luar kelas seperti: pengenalan, pendaftaran, layanan individual seperti pengembangan keseluruhan kemampuan, minat, kebutuhan sampai ia matang di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the creativity of children aged 5–6 years through the use of kokoru paper media at TK IT Al-Ikhsan Padangmatinggi, Padangsidimpuan City. The research was motivated by the low level of children’s creativity, particularly in expressing ideas, imagination, producing varied works, and showing confidence in presenting their creations. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 15 children in group B. Data were collected through observation sheets, documentation, and assessment of children’s work, and analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations based on the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC ≥ 80). The results showed an increase in creativity achievement from 33.33% in the pre-cycle to 60% in cycle I, and significantly increased to 86.67% in cycle II. These findings indicate that kokoru paper media is effective in enhancing early childhood creativity and can be used as an engaging and meaningful learning medium.

Abstract

Every individual is connected to philosophy in the learning process. Individuals need to be able to think philosophically in the field of education. Philosophy is generally focused on students so they can understand the nature and responsibility of their thinking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the role of educational philosophy on students' mindsets and social behavior. This study applies a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results show that educational philosophy has enormous potential to improve the quality of critical and creative thinking in students. Educational philosophy also plays a crucial role in shaping students' social awareness. The application of ethics creates a constructive learning atmosphere, respects diversity, and encourages students to be responsible, empathetic, and have integrity. Abstract

This study examines the ethnopedagogical practices of the Baduy indigenous community as a model of traditional education that emphasizes the values of resilience and simplicity. Education in the Baduy community is not conducted through formal institutions, but through an intergenerational learning process rooted in customs, daily activities, and ancestral spirituality. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving community members and traditional leaders. The findings reveal that cultural values are transmitted through exemplary behavior, oral traditions, and direct involvement in communal life, which collectively shape character, self-discipline, environmental awareness, and social responsibility. The Baduy educational model prioritizes harmony with nature, adherence to customary law, and moral integrity over academic achievement. These ethnopedagogical practices demonstrate that local wisdom can function as an effective educational framework in forming resilient and value-oriented individuals. This study contributes to the discourse on alternative educational models by highlighting the relevance of indigenous knowledge systems as a foundation for character education and sustainable learning practices in the contemporary context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti kesenjangan antara ideal pendidikan Islam dan realitas implementasinya di Indonesia, yang terlihat dari dominannya kurikulum berorientasi hafalan, keterbatasan penguatan STEM dan literasi AI, tingginya pengangguran lulusan, serta capaian pembangunan manusia yang belum optimal. Untuk merespons persoalan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei pada 100 pesantren modern pada tahun 2025. Analisis dilakukan dengan model regresi prediktif guna mengukur relevansi integrasi AI–STEM dengan nilai tauhid dan maqasid syariah dalam kerangka digital terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembangunan manusia, inovasi ekonomi syariah, dan ketahanan sosial, sekaligus merumuskan rekomendasi revitalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI–STEM berbasis tauhid dan maqasid syariah dinilai relevan untuk mendorong penguatan pembangunan manusia berbasis digital, meningkatkan pertumbuhan inisiatif kewirausahaan syariah, dan memperkuat kohesi sosial. Penguatan kurikulum STEM yang lebih proporsional diproyeksikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan capaian pembangunan manusia digital, pertumbuhan startup syariah, penurunan konflik identitas, serta penurunan tingkat pengangguran lulusan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa revitalisasi kebijakan pendidikan Islam kontemporer menjadi langkah strategis untuk membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif terhadap transformasi teknologi, tanpa melepaskan fondasi nilai tauhid, sehingga berperan sebagai pilar holistik bagi kemajuan bangsa menuju Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Social communication skills play a crucial role in early childhood development. However, in early childhood education (PAUD) learning practices, children still experience difficulties interacting socially, expressing opinions, and participating in group activities. This study aims to identify barriers to social communication in early childhood, examine the strategies teachers employ to address these barriers, and analyze the impact of these strategies on children's social communication development at Permata Bunda PAUD. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with teachers and children experiencing barriers to social communication. Data were analyzed descriptively through qualitative data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, ensuring data validity through triangulation. The results indicate that barriers to social communication in children are evident in low levels of peer interaction, limited speaking skills, lack of participation in group activities, and suboptimal responses to teacher direction. The application of interactive, adaptive, and child-centered learning strategies, such as role-playing, group games, interactive storytelling, and individual mentoring, has been shown to gradually improve children's social communication skills. This study confirms the crucial role of teachers in creating a learning environment that supports the development of social communication in early childhood. Abstract

Industri makanan dan minuman merupakan pilar utama ekonomi Indonesia yang memiliki daya tahan tinggi terhadap gejolak ekonomi, namun tetap menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menjaga efisiensi dan profitabilitas di tengah persaingan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi literatur komprehensif mengenai penilaian kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan sub-sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (Library Research) terhadap sepuluh artikel ilmiah terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perusahaan di sektor ini memiliki kondisi likuiditas yang baik, namun sering kali menghadapi tantangan pada rasio profitabilitas dan solvabilitas yang berada di bawah standar industri. Temuan ini juga mengungkapkan adanya variasi kinerja antar perusahaan, di mana faktor eksternal seperti pandemi COVID-19 memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap daya beli masyarakat dan labaperusahaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efisiensi penggunaan aset danpengelolaan struktur modal yang tepat merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkankinerja keuangan dan menciptakan nilai tambah bagi para pemegang saham.

Abstract

This study discusses the increasing vulnerability of adolescents to hoaxes and radical ideologies along with the rapid development of digital media. The study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) in countering hoaxes and radicalism among adolescents. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and secondary school students, classroom observations, and documentation studies including syllabi and lesson plans. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education plays an important role in shaping moderate religious attitudes, fostering critical thinking skills, and increasing students’ awareness in responding to religious information. Through the internalization of religious moderation values, the principle of tabayyun, and contextual learning approaches, students become more selective and responsible in receiving and disseminating information. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education has strategic potential as a means of preventing hoaxes and radicalism in the digital era.
