Abstract

Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is a theoretical approach aimed at helping students embrace and strengthen their cultural identities while enhancing academic performance. The purpose of this article is to describe the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in teaching Indonesian at SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai. The Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach has become a primary focus in educational literature to enhance the quality of teaching that values the cultural diversity of students. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that refers to planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai, with the subjects of the study being third-grade students, totaling 19 children. The data collection techniques used are tests, documentation, and observation. The analysis used in this study is quantitative analysis with the use of LKPD (Student Worksheet). The results of the analysis in cycle I showed a completeness of 42% (19 students), and in cycle II it was 84%. (19 peserta didik).Thus, it can be concluded that the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach can be implemented in Grade III of State Elementary School 066055 Medan Denai.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the picture of increasing students literacy in punctuation material using song media in class IV of UPT SDN 060909 Medan for the 2024-2025 academic year. The research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK), the object of this research is all clas IV students OF UPT SDN 060909 Medan. Next the subjects were determined to be 30 people. The instruments used as data collection tools were tests, observation, and documentation. Then the research data was processed using data analysis techniques, namely the use of the maten song media. Punctuation in class IV of UPT SDN 060909 Medan increased, marked by increased student literacy through the use of media. Song, which can be proven in cycle I obtained a percentage of 46,6 % , in cycle II the percentage was 80 %, from cycle I to cycle II there was increase of 33,4 %, teacher observation through the use of song media in the class IV at UPT SDN 060909 Medan, which can be seen from the percentage of observation of teacher respondets in cycle I of 75 % with the “enoungh” category and cycle II 83,3 % with the “good” category, and cycle I to cycle II experienced an increase of 8,3 % and student learning activities through the ude of song media in cycle I 72,2 % with the “enough” category to cycle II 80,5 % with “good” category, experienced an increase of 8,3 %.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' learning motivation by using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Wordwall Media in Mathematics Subject Class VI SD Negeri 060857 Medan Tembung. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of four steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out collaboratively with classroom teachers and peers. The subjects of the study were 24 students in class VI. The methods used are observation and questionnaires, with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The data collected and organized are then described based on the researcher's views and the support of relevant theories. Observation was carried out for 3 cycles, and the results showed an increase in students' learning motivation: 63% in cycle 1, 73% in cycle 2, 82.1% in cycle. This study shows that the application of the PBL model with the help of wordwall interactive media has a significant impact on increasing the learning motivation of grade VI students, especially in mathematics subjects.

Abstract

The implementation of learning that tends to be monotonous without paying attention to active student participation is one of the causes of low critical thinking skills. This study aims to describe the learning process using interactive Wordwall media with a problem based learning (PBL) learning model. The research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. This study consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Participants in grade III of SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai, totaling 8 males and 11 females. Data collection techniques were carried out by tests, interviews, and documentation. Data collection tools used test questions, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis with percentages. The results of the study showed that critical thinking skills in students increased from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the results of students' critical thinking skills were classified as lacking with a percentage of 48%. Furthermore, in cycle II with a percentage of 84% with a very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that using interactive Wordwall media with the problem based learning (PBL) model can improve the critical thinking skills of grade III students of SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai in the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan pancasila kelas IV di sekolah dasar melalui penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN Gading V Surabaya, yang berjumlah 18 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus dilakukan kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tindakan observasi kelas dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penerapan pendekatan CRT pada pra siklus hanya 37% siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 75, sementara pada siklus pertama 60% dan hasil siklus kedua 87% .Oleh karena itu, pendekatan penerapan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pendekatan yang mengaitkan budaya atau kebiasaan siswa dengan materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the implementation of diorama media in science learning for third-grade students at SDN Layungsari 2. The research problem was the lack of effective learning media to enhance students' understanding of science concepts. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the use of diorama media significantly improved students' active participation, motivation, and understanding of science concepts. Students were more engaged in the learning process and able to construct their own knowledge through hands-on activities with the diorama. However, there were some challenges faced by the teacher in preparing the diorama and managing the learning process. This study recommends that diorama media can be a valuable tool to enhance science learning, and further research is needed to explore its effectiveness in different contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to develop snakes and ladders media material for the system of multiplication and division of whole numbers for class IV SDN. This research was carried out using the ADDIE model development research method which consists of 5 stages starting from Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) but in this research, researchers only limited it to the development stage. Data collection techniques in this research were through interviews and questionnaires. Based on validation results with 5 validators, namely two material experts, two media experts and one module expert, the results were 92% with valid criteria

Abstract

This research is research that uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental type of research using a Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design. The design aims to determine the effect of the ASSURE learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Inpres Tamalanrea V, Makassar City. The independent variable in this research is the ASSURE learning model assisted by audiovisual media, while the dependent variable is science learning outcomes. The sample selection was carried out by Total Sampling type with the results of class IVa as the experimental group with a total of 28 students and class IVb as the control class with 29 students. Data collection techniques in research are observation, tests and documentation. Data was collected from administering tests in the cognitive domain and then analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics using the Independent Sample T-Test. The research results show that there are science learning outcomes with the material Changing Forms of Energy. This can be seen in the posttest average for the experimental class reaching 71.43. while the control class Posttest average reached 56.03. Based on hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t test, the tcount value = 3.471, while the ttable value = 2.004. Based on the results obtained tcount > ttable (tcount = 3.471 > ttable = 2.004). Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of AI-assisted PBL models and Quiziz in the material for the application of grade 4 Pancasila precepts at SDN 01 Kriyan and describe learning outcomes based on the application of AI-assisted PBL, interactive learning videos, and Quiziz on the application of grade 4 Pancasila precepts at SDN 01 Kriyan. The method used was qualitative descriptive, with research subjects as many as 20 students. The learning process involves the use of AI interactive videos to deepen understanding of the material and Quizizz as an interactive evaluation tool. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and grades after the application of the technology-assisted PBL model, with most students achieving or exceeding the Minimum Learning Completeness Criteria (KKTP). This research suggests that the integration of AI and other educational technologies in the curriculum can improve students' motivation and learning outcomes, while better preparing them to practice the values of Pancasila in their daily lives.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of developing comic strip media in Indonesian language learning using anecdotal text material in class X Animation at SMK Negeri 04 Semarang. The comic strip media developed can be used to support the learning process so that it can make it easier for educators to present lesson material in an interesting way. This research was carried out through stages based on the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, including 5 stages, namely, (1) analysis stage, (2) design stage, (3) development stage, (4) implementation stage or trial, (5) evaluation stage. This comic strip media was developed through the Ibis Pain The media that has been developed is tested for feasibility based on the responses of students in class X Animation at SMK Negeri 04 Semarang, a total of 36 students. The results of this research are in the form of comic strip media, anecdotal text material which has been developed using the Ibis Pain the percentage is 91.6% (very feasible), and the final feasibility result by the subject teacher validator is 30 from the ideal score of 32 with a percentage of 93.7% (very feasible). At the implementation stage, the average assessment results obtained based on the responses of trial students were 9.1 out of an ideal score of 10 with a percentage of 91% (very positive). Thus, it can be said that the comic strip media using the Ibis Pain X
