Abstract

This article is a review of the results of research and follow-up studies of the results of research on the Effects of Lecturer Qualifications and Lecturer Academic Achievement on the Quality of Learning in 2019 at Muhammadiyah University Makassar. This type of research is the Library Research (qualitative research) qualitative approach by making the results of quantitative research on the Effects of Lecturer Qualifications and Lecturer Academic Achievement on Learning Quality in 2019 at Muhammadiyah University Makassar as the main reference. The results of this study and follow-up study found two main points that deserve the attention of academic people, namely: 1) efforts to improve the quality of PAI learning, so in appointing Lecturers and giving lecturers of PAI, it is necessary to consider factors related to the quality of learning, 2) learning is a complicated process, including in PAI learning, it is necessary to pay attention to the principles and indicators of learning quality in accordance with UNESCO guidelines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kajian pustaka (Library Researce) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pemikiran K.H Ahmad Dahlan Tentang Pembaharuan Pendidikan di Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, Analisis deskriptif atau penelusuran literatur dengan jalan mengumpulkan data, menganalisis, menarik kesimpulan dan menyusun, yang dipokuskan pada penelusuran dan penelitian literature. Hasil penelitian ini buah pemikiran K.H Ahmad Dahlan yang corak pemikirannya menjadi dasar pembaharun pemahaman Islam yang masi ortodoks. Di Indonesia Ahmad Dahlan telah berhasil dalam bidang kesehatan, sosial, pilitik keagamaan dan juga berhasil dalam pembaharun di bidang Pendidikan atau modernisasi pendidikan yang bersifat stagnan atau statis, disisi lain konsep yang tidak mengarah pada pembentukan nilai akhlak dan moral yang dulunya pendidikan masi bersifat umum dan diperuntukkan pada kalangan tertentu saja yang sudah berhasil diperuntukkan kepada siapapun yang menginginkan pendidikan. Keberhasilan ini tentunya sangat dirasakan manfaatnya masyarakat saat sekarang ini.Kata Kunci: Pemikiran K.H Ahmad Dahlan; Pembaharuan Pendidikan

Abstract

Research on the Urgency of Islamic Moderation in the Aspect of Da'wah and Communication Between SARA, motivated by the escalation of inter-religious conflicts in Indonesia after the 1998 reform, such as in Ambon, Poso, Situbondo and Sambas. This study aims to determine the Theological Basis of Moderation, the Urgency of Ethnicity, Religion and Race (SARA) Da'wah and the Urgency of Cross-SARA Communication. Knowledge of these three aspects is very important as an effort to prevent conflict, because the conflict is like a malignant cancer that at any time inflames and damages one's own resilience joints. Kind This research is included in the category of library research The results of the research obtained include, 1) The Theological Basis of Islamic Moderation is explained in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 143 (wa kadzalika ja'alanakum ummatan wasathan) which is used as a theological basis or starting point for religious moderation. There are three main keys in the application of wasathiyyah, namely correct knowledge, controlled emotions and vigilance. 2) The urgency of Ethnicity, Religion and Race (SARA) Da'wah is to care for a tolerant religious character, to strive for universal peace in the midst of differences in Ethnicity/Nation, Religion and Race/Group. Da’wah Suku, Agama dan Ras (SARA) is a da'wah that reconciles, enlightens and edifies. 3) Poor communication will cause miscommunication even the worst can be a trigger for conflict, while conflict is like a malignant cancer that at any time can damage the body's immune system and nervous tissue, so you must always maintain and maintain the body's immunity to stay healthy. Herein lies the importance or urgency of cross-SARA communication to prevent miscommunication and discommunication that has the potential to trigger conflict in Indonesia.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan bagian integral dari kehidupan keluarga. Komunikasi bukan hanya alat bertukar informasi, tetapi juga sarana untuk mengungkapkan rasa sayang, mempererat tali silaturahmi dan menciptakan keharmonisan dalam keluarga. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Islam dalam membangun keluarga harmonis menurut Alqur’an. Kajian ini akan menjadi landasan teori yang kokoh untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Islam dalam kehidupan keluarga muslim sesuai ajaran Alqur’an. Prinsip-prinsip komunikasi Islam yang bersumber dari Alqur'an dan Hadits menekankan pentingnya bahasa yang baik, kejujuran, mendengarkan dengan penuh perhatian, menghindari fitnah, dan memberi nasehat dengan lemah lembut. Dengan menerapkan konsep komunikasi Islam setiap anggota keluarga dapat merasakan kehangatan dan kedamaian yang terpancar dari harmoni dalam berinteraksi satu sama lain. Islam mendorong anggota keluarga untuk menghindari bahasa kasar, menghina, atau merendahkan satu sama lain. Komunikasi dalam Islam harus dilandasi dengan kelembutan dan rasa hormat agar tidak menyakiti perasaan atau menciptakan permusuhan. Keharmonisa keluarga dapat dnilai dari kesiapan setiap anggota keluarga menerima perbedaan dengan lapang dada dan saling menghormati perbedaan pendapat dan pandangan orang lain. Prinsip-prinsip komunikasi yang penting dalam membina hubungan keluarga yang harmonis, antara lain; Kejujuran, kelembutan berbicara, saling memaafkan, penuh perhatian, menghindari ghibah, saling menasehati, menjaga rahasia, saling mendukung dan memotivasi antara satu dengan yang lain.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki posisi sentral dalam ajaran Islam karena berfungsi sebagai sarana pengembangan potensi manusia secara menyeluruh, baik aspek spiritual, intelektual, moral, maupun sosial. Islam sejak awal kemunculannya telah menempatkan pendidikan sebagai perintah agama, sebagaimana tercermin dalam wahyu pertama yang memerintahkan manusia untuk membaca dan belajar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan dalam perspektif Islam, pandangan Islam terhadap pendidikan, serta model-model pendidikan Islam yang berkembang di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan, seperti Al-Qur’an, hadis, buku, dan artikel ilmiah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dalam Islam bersifat holistik dan berorientasi pada keseimbangan kehidupan dunia dan akhirat. Model pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, seperti pesantren dan madrasah, berperan strategis dalam membentuk generasi yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan berpengetahuan luas. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer ilmu, tetapi juga sebagai proses pembentukan karakter dan peradaban manusia.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of Islamic guidelines for living in guiding the development of Islamic-informed arts and culture. Through a qualitative approach, analyzing texts from the Quran, Hadith, and related literature, this study outlines the basic Islamic principles that serve as the foundation for creating and evaluating works of art and cultural expression. The results indicate that Islamic guidelines for living emphasize truth, beauty, moral truth, and the unity of form and content in art, while avoiding elements that are offensive, demeaning, or contrary to religious values. The paper also discusses examples of the application of these principles in various forms of art and culture, such as architecture, music, performing arts, and literature, as well as their contribution to building a harmonious and characterful society. This study concludes that Islamic guidelines for living do not hinder artistic and cultural creativity but rather provide a profound framework for creating meaningful, useful works oriented toward human well-being and divinity.

Abstract

This article examines the ideology of the Muhammadiyah movement as the foundational framework that shapes its da’wah orientation and socio-religious activism in Indonesia. The study addresses the problem of how Muhammadiyah’s ideological principles function not only as normative religious doctrines but also as operational guidelines that sustain the movement’s relevance amid social change. The research aims to analyze the construction and role of Muhammadiyah’s ideology in guiding organizational consistency, social engagement, and modernization efforts. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from primary sources such as official Muhammadiyah documents and authoritative works of Muhammadiyah thinkers, as well as secondary sources including academic books and peer-reviewed journal articles on Islamic movements and ideology. Data analysis was conducted through qualitative content analysis by identifying key concepts, interpreting their meanings, and examining their interrelationships within the ideological framework. The findings show that the ideology of the Muhammadiyah movement is integrative in nature, combining theological foundations, rational reasoning, and social praxis. The principles of tawhid, amar ma‘ruf nahi munkar, and tajdid function as a coherent value system that guides Muhammadiyah’s educational, health, and social service initiatives. This ideology enables Muhammadiyah to maintain organizational consistency while remaining adaptive to modern social dynamics. The study concludes that ideological consistency plays a crucial role in sustaining Muhammadiyah as a modern Islamic movement oriented toward social progress and the welfare of society.

Abstract

Morality is the core of Islamic teachings and the main indicator of the quality of a Muslim's faith. The Prophet Muhammad SAW was sent to perfect human morality, as emphasized in various hadiths. This article aims to analyze the concept of morality from an Islamic perspective based on the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and its relevance in modern society. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to the hadiths of the Prophet and classical and contemporary Islamic literature. The results of the study show that morality in Islam encompasses three main dimensions, namely morality towards Allah SWT., morality towards oneself, and morality towards fellow human beings. Values such as sincerity, patience, gratitude, honesty, trustworthiness, justice, compassion, and guarding one's tongue form the foundation for the development of faith and civilization. Thus, ethics not only function as individual ethics but also as the main pillars for the formation of a civilized and just society.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of transforming the tajdid movement as a key determinant of the success of Islamic da'wah in the era of disruption, which often faces challenges in the relevance of strategies and adaptation of information technology. This research aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the historical roots, the vision of "A True Islamic Society," the mission of enlightenment, and the strategic role of the autonomous Muhammadiyah organization in responding to contemporary dynamics. The method used is descriptive qualitative through library research. Data collection techniques include reviewing official organizational documents, congress manuscripts, and scientific journal articles related to Muhammadiyah's development. The results show that the management practices of the Muhammadiyah movement have been running very well, where the vision of Progressive Islam is implemented transparently through strengthening Muhammadiyah's Amal Usaha (AUM) and reflective-dialogical digital da'wah. This finding implies that the integration of the purification of faith and the dynamism of muamalah through institutional innovation is key to organizational sustainability. The novelty of this research lies in the analytical model of Muhammadiyah's da'wah strategy, which integrates aspects of critical digital literacy and strengthening economic independence as organizational culture in the cyber era. This research contributes to providing a best practice model for the governance of modern, inclusive and progressive religious organizations at the national and international levels.

Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) in the modern era has had a significant impact on human life, both positive and negative. The advancement of IPTEK is often accompanied by moral decline, spiritual crisis, and environmental damage. This article aims to analyze the Islamic Life Guidelines for Muhammadiyah Members (PHIWM) as a normative and ethical framework in responding to the development of IPTEK and environmental management. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a literature study method from official Muhammadiyah documents, the Qur'an, hadith, and relevant scientific literature. The results show that PHIWM positions IPTEK as a strategic tool for community welfare that must be developed responsibly, based on faith and morals. In addition, environmental management is seen as a theological mandate that demands a conservative, just, and sustainable attitude. Thus, PHIWM plays a crucial role in building integration between the advancement of IPTEK, individual piety, and environmental sustainability towards the realization of a truly Islamic society.
