Abstract

Application of Number Posters to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Grade 1 Mathematics at the UPTD of SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nahdlatul Ulama University, Lampung, January 2026. Mathematics learning in grade 1 at the UPTD of SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo still shows low learning outcomes due to the teacher-centered learning process, which makes students experience difficulties in understanding the material. Therefore, the application of creative and appropriate learning media is needed, one of which is through the use of number posters. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics through the application of number posters in grade 1 at the UPTD of SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 20 grade 1 students at the UPTD of SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis used a mixed methods approach. The results showed that the implementation of number posters improved the mathematics learning outcomes of first-grade students at the UPTD SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo. Initial data obtained from daily test scores showed that 50% of students completed the course, with completion increasing to 55% in the first cycle. In the second cycle, this increased significantly to 85%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of number posters improved the mathematics learning outcomes of first-grade students at the UPTD SD Negeri 1 Hargomulyo.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in science and social studies (IPAS), particularly in teaching the human digestive system in Grade V elementary school. Learning activities were still dominated by lectures and textbooks, resulting in low student engagement and difficulties in understanding abstract concepts. This research aimed to develop a Mystery Box learning media assisted by QR Code that meets the criteria of validity and practicality. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research was conducted at SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung involving expert validators, teachers, and Grade V students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. The validation results indicated that the media was categorized as very valid, with a score of 96.66% from media experts, 96.66% from material experts, and 100% from language experts. The practicality test showed that the teacher’s response reached 94.28%, categorized as very practical. These findings demonstrate that the QR Code-assisted Mystery Box media is feasible and practical to be implemented in IPAS learning on the human digestive system topic in Grade V elementary school.

Abstract

Regional autonomy as regulated in Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government gives regional governments broad authority in administering educational affairs as a basic service. In East Kalimantan, geographic challenges, disparities between regions, and the distribution of educational resources demand adaptive and responsive policies. This research aims to analyze the role and policies of the East Kalimantan Regional Government in equalizing access to education through the perspective of State Administrative Law, by examining aspects of authority, discretion, general principles of good governance (AUPB), as well as monitoring and accountability mechanisms. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory and conceptual approach. Data was obtained through literature study of regulations, regional policies, and educational planning documents. The analysis was carried out qualitatively to assess the suitability of regional policies with the principles of legality, effectiveness and administrative justice. The research results show that local governments have a strategic role in planning, budgeting and supervising secondary education services, including the construction of infrastructure, distribution of teachers and the provision of educational assistance. However, policy implementation still faces coordination obstacles, budget limitations, and disparities in remote areas. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen governance based on transparency, public participation and continuous evaluation in order to realize equitable and sustainable access to education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited use of mathematics learning media in third-grade elementary schools, which is still dominated by textbooks and whiteboards. Consequently, it has not fully facilitated active student participation or supported the needs of the concrete operational stage of cognitive development. Therefore, this study aims to develop and examine the validity and practicality of Smart Box learning media on the topic of relationships between standard units of length for third-grade elementary school students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, etation, and evaluation. The results of the study show that the Smart Box media was considered valid based on the media expert assessment with a percentage of 77.5%, highly valid according to material experts with 96.67%, and highly valid according to language experts with 100%. In addition, the practicality test results based on teacher responses reached 100%, while student responses reached 96.04%, both categorized as highly practical. Thus, the Smart Box learning media meets the criteria of validity and practicality, making it feasible to be used as mathematics learning media in elementary schools

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the low level of students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes in Bahasa Indonesia subject, as well as the limited use of innovative learning models in elementary classrooms. The research aimed to determine the effect of the Cooperative Learning Model of Mind Mapping type on students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two fourth-grade classes at SDN IV Krangkeng, with 27 students in the control class and 28 students in the experimental class. Data were collected through tests and observation sheets. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality and homogeneity tests, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The average N-Gain score of the experimental class was 75.29% (moderately effective), while the control class obtained 54.77% (less effective). Observation results also indicated higher improvement in students’ creative thinking skills in the experimental class. Therefore, the Cooperative Mind Mapping model significantly improves students’ creative thinking skills and learning outcomes in Bahasa Indonesia learning.

Abstract

Early habituation is an important step in building character education and school culture through the implementation of values within the school environment. In the current era, students’ character values tend to decline. Although scouting activities at the school are conducted regularly every Thursday, students’ character development has not been formed optimally, thus requiring an in-depth analysis of the characters emerging through these activities. This study aims to describe the religious, creative, disciplined, honest, and responsible character traits of fifth-grade students during scouting activities. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources consisted of the scouting instructor, the fifth-grade homeroom teacher, and 20 fifth-grade students participating in scouting activities. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that scouting activities at SD Negeri 1 Air Gegas have successfully fostered students’ character through hands-on practices conducted every Thursday, such as habituation of prayer, cheer creation, and adherence to rules. The character values developed include religiosity, creativity, honesty, discipline, and responsibility. These activities also contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive school environment while strengthening students’ sense of identity toward their school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of children's interests and talents through activities at Sanggar Deli Nusantara Jaya. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of trainers, parents, and children of studio participants. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the development of children's interests and talents takes place through a process of exploration, structured exercises, performance experiences, and parental support. A family studio environment forms children's confidence, discipline, responsibility, communication skills, and mental resilience. Internal factors such as motivation and curiosity as well as motivation and curiosity as well as external factors such as family support, coach coaching, and a conducive learning environment have a significant effect on the development of children's potential. This study concludes that collaboration between coaches, parents, and non-formal education environments plays an important role in optimizing the development of children's potential.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of intellectual capital, leverage, and firm size on firm value, with dividend policy as a moderating variable, in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2020 and 2024. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling, selecting 12 companies. The analysis method used moderated regression analysis with Eviews 13.Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that intellectual capital has a significant effect on company value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Leverage has a significant effect on company value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Company size does not have a significant effect on company value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Intellectual capital does not have a significant effect on company value with dividend policy as a moderator in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Dividend policy is able to weaken the influence between intellectual capital on company value. Leverage does not have a significant effect on company value with dividend policy as a moderator in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Dividend policy is able to weaken the influence between leverage on company value. Company size does not have a significant effect on company value with dividend policy as a moderator in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2024. Dividend policy is able to weaken the influence of company size on company value.

Abstract

About this study examines the reinforcement of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika values in fostering tolerance and peace among elementary school students. Indonesia’s diversity of ethnicities, religions, and cultures requires early internalization of unity and respect for differences, yet these values are often understood only symbolically. Using library research, this study analyzes primary and secondary literature on multicultural and character education, guided by Thomas Lickona’s theory of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. Findings reveal that strengthening Bhinneka Tunggal Ika values contributes significantly to shaping tolerant attitudes, preventing bullying, and creating inclusive school environments. Effective approaches include participatory and contextual learning activities such as group discussions, collaborative projects, and creative media. These strategies encourage students not only to recognize diversity but also to practice empathy, cooperation, and peaceful conflict resolution. The study concludes that consistent integration of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika into curriculum and school culture is crucial for building democratic, responsible, and harmonious future citizens.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Edpuzzle media in improving fantasy story listening skills in seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 22 Makassar. Using a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, the study involved 40 students divided into an experimental class (using Edpuzzle) and a control class (using YouTube). The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, proving a significant difference between the two groups. The posttest average for the experimental class (90.15) was higher than that of the control class (88.15). These findings confirm that Edpuzzle, with its interactive features such as integrated questions and anti-skip, effectively increases students' cognitive engagement and comprehension of oral literary texts. This research provides a practical contribution to the development of digital learning media in Indonesian language education.
