Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to improve students' writing skills in Indonesian. One effort that can be made is to increase the variety and attractiveness of learning media used by teachers so that the learning process becomes more enjoyable and effective. In relation to the problems above, this study aims to improve the writing skills of class II students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Parang Tambung 1 by utilizing visual media in the form of images. This study adopts the Classroom Action Research method with two cycles. Research data were collected through direct observation and evaluation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively to understand the meaning behind the data, and quantitatively to get a general picture of improving students' writing skills. This study proves that the application of image media at UPT SPF SD Negeri Parang Tambung 1 has succeeded in improving the writing skills of class II students. This shows that image media can be an effective solution to improve the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of home visits in the education of autistic children at SKH Galuh Kinanti. Home visits, also known as home visits, are one of the methods used to provide a calm environment for family members and autistic children outside the school environment. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach, employing data collection techniques such as observation, documentation, and interviews. The subjects of the study are autistic children who participate in the home visit program, tutoring, and education at SKH Galuh Kinanti. The research results show that home visits have a positive impact on the social development, communication, and quality of life of autistic children. In addition, continuous interaction with others during the visits also strengthens teamwork between schools and the community in fostering the child's development. This study shows that home visits can be an effective strategy to help autistic children achieve optimal growth in various areas of their lives, especially by involving them in the educational process.

Abstract

Autism is a behavioral disorder in which sufferers are only interested in their own mental activities such as daydreaming or fantasizing. Behavioral disorders can change lack of social interaction, Avoidance of eye contact, difficulty in developing language, and repetitive behavior. Autistic children are children who experience severe developmental disorders which, among other things, affect the way they communicate. interact and live life Autism is a complex developmental disorder that involves problems with communication, social interaction and imaginative activity. Abstract

This study aims to understand the understanding of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) after receiving religious guidance at the Dhira Suman Tritoha Foundation Rehabilitation Center, Serang Banten. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and descriptive method, involving interviews with research subjects consisting of ODGJ, psychological guidance, and nurses. In addition, supporting factors such as adequate infrastructure and the support of medical personnel play an important role in the guidance process. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as the frequent recurrence of mental disorder symptoms that cause decreased motivation to participate in activities.

Abstract

Autistic children are children who experience growth and development disorders which have an impact on problems in optimal social, communication and emotional development. This research aims to ilustrate the role of teachers in improving the social skills of young autistic children at skh Elmyra Shanum. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The subject of this research was an early-age autistic was in the Therapy class at skh . Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that there is a teacher's role as a facilitator, namely providing a platform for autistic children to improve the social development of autistic children at an early age through playing together as a form of interaction with friends around them at school. Teachers also provide stimulation that suits the needs of autistic children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman menyimak informasi pada teks deskripsi dan menguji keefektivan dalam penerapan E-Flipbook berbantuan Wordwall dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas III SD Negeri 6 Lengkong. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri 6 Lengkong dengan jumlah siswa 11 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi (mix method). Metode penelitian kombinasi merupakan gebungan antara teknik kualitatif dan teknik kuantitaif sehingga akan mendapatkan hasil yang lengkap. Penerapan E-Flipbook berbantuan Wordwall di terapkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL). E-Flipbook berbantuan Wordwall efektif digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman menyimak informasi pada teks deskripsi kelas III. Hasil penilaian pemahaman menyimak informasi pada teks deskripsi menunjukkan peningkatan dengan rata-rata nilai 60 menjadi 83,63. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dengan selisih 23,63.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-BigBook berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca teks narasi siswa kelas 3 SDN 2 Todanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran, yang menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman membaca sebelum dan setelah penggunaan e-BigBook , sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui hasil wawancara dan observasi selama proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berlangsung. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman membaca siswa, serta respon positif terhadap media yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa e-BigBook berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa, serta dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This article analyzes the socio-emotional development of children with special needs with autism in SKh 02 Al-Ihsan. With a focus on a child with the initials "D," the study includes observation of behavior, social interaction, and emotional management in the context of inclusive education. The methodology used includes direct observation, interviews with accompanying teachers, and analysis of child behavior data. The results showed that although "D" showed progress in academic understanding, he still faced challenges in social interaction and emotional management. The treatments applied, such as behavioral therapy and emotional support from the family, contribute positively to their social-emotional development. This article emphasizes the importance of a structured approach and ongoing support in improving the social and emotional skills of children with autism, and provides recommendations for more effective intervention programs in the school environment.

Abstract

Inclusive education plays a crucial role in providing equal opportunities for children with special needs, including children with intellectual disabilities. At SKH Al Ihsan 2 in Cilegon, the educational program for children with intellectual disabilities aims to develop their potential through a holistic approach that encompasses academic, social, and emotional aspects. The title "Melangkah Bersama: Menumbuhkan Kepercayaan Diri Anak Tuna Grahita di SKH Al Ihsan 2" reflects the school’s efforts to create a supportive, inclusive, and compassionate environment for children with intellectual disabilities. Through individualized learning, social activities that encourage interaction, and consistent emotional support, SKH Al Ihsan 2 focuses on fostering self-confidence in children with intellectual disabilities, helping them become more independent and resilient in facing life’s challenges. Furthermore, the program emphasizes the importance of parental and community involvement in the educational process to create a sense of togetherness and sustained support. With this approach, children with intellectual disabilities at SKH Al Ihsan 2 are expected to realize their full potential and step forward towards a brighter future.

Abstract

Down syndrome is a disorder of the chromosome structure characterized by mental retardation ranging from moderate to severe and is a congenital syndrome that appears at birth, due to abnormal fetal development. Down syndrome children have special characteristics that can be immediately seen as differences from normal children. Research on children with Down syndrome is very important to improve their quality of life. It is important to understand that children with Down syndrome are unique individuals with their own interests and desires. They have the same right to be treated fairly and respected as an important part of society. This research is qualitative in nature with a content analysis approach with data sources from research materials from several Scopus-based national and international literature with a total of 22 articles related to the theme to be discussed. The results of this research are about children with Down syndrome to understand that children with Down syndrome are unique individuals with their own interests and desires. They have the same right to be treated fairly and respected as an important part of society. With greater knowledge, understanding and inclusion, we can create a supportive environment for all children, including those with special needs such as Down syndrome.
