Abstract

This study aims to uncover the symbolism of Islamic-Javanese values in the lyrics of the Jamjaneng performing art songs in Kebumen using Roland Barthes' five narrative codes. A qualitative method with an ethnographic approach was employed to analyze two song lyrics: “Dzikirullah” and “Pumpung Urip Pada Amal-amalan”. The findings reveal that Islamic-Javanese cultural acculturation is reflected through: (1) hermeneutic codes that create spiritual enigmas, such as the urgency of dhikr (remembrance of God) and critiques of materialism; (2) semic codes connoting gender equality and the balance between knowledge and practice (ilmu-amal); (3) symbolic codes manifesting contradictions between worldly and afterlife realms and theological hierarchies; (4) proairetic codes illustrating educational stages from ritual practice to theological understanding; and (5) cultural codes through the use of the Javanese language, pegon script (Arabic-Javanese writing), and references to the Shafi’i school of thought. The Jamjaneng song lyrics not only serve as entertainment but also as a medium for spiritual education, integrating Islamic teachings with Javanese local wisdom while critiquing reductive religious practices. This study emphasizes the importance of harmony between knowledge, practice, and transcendental awareness in the context of Islamic-Javanese society.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan gerak dasar manipulatif pada siswa kelas V-B di SD Negeri Babatan IV/459 Surabaya dengan menggunakan permainan bola halilintar. Sebanyak 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswi perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif bersama guru PJOK. Tahapan proses penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus yang memiliki empat kegiatan utama: perencanaan, kegiatan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi, sedangkan untuk teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif selama pelaksanaan tes dari setiap siklus, dengan hasil yang disajikan berupa deskripsi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus siswa menunjukkan rata-rata persentase sebesar 45%, pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata persentase 62%, dan pada siklus II mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 83% yang berarti sudah memenuhi target yang diinginkan oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penerapan permainan bola halilintar dapat meningkatkan gerak dasar manipulatif pada pembelajaran PJOK.

Abstract

The background of this study stems from field observations showing that students’ writing skills have not reached optimal results. This is due to the lack of student-centered learning activities, as the teaching process remains teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ descriptive writing skills through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Grade V at SD Negeri 05 Kubang Putiah, Banuhampu District, Agam Regency. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, tests, and non-test techniques, focusing on learning outcomes using the PBL model. The research subjects included the students, the classroom teacher as observer, the researcher as practitioner, and 24 Grade V students at SD Negeri 05 Kubang Putiah. The results indicate significant improvements: First, the average score for the teaching module increased from 79.16% (Fair) in Cycle I to 91.66% (Very Good) in Cycle II. Second, the teacher’s performance improved from 85.71% (Good) to 92.85% (Very Good). Third, student participation rose from 80.35% (Good) to 92.85% (Very Good). Fourth, students’ writing skills improved from an average of 79.25 (Fair) to 93.14 (Very Good). Fifth, students’ knowledge scores increased from 65.06% (Poor) to 84.81% (Good). These findings demonstrate that the Problem-Based Learning model effectively enhances students’ descriptive writing skills in Grade V at SD Negeri 05 Kubang Putiah.

Abstract

Discovery learning model Learning or discovery is understanding concepts, meanings and relationships through an intuitive process to finally arrive at a conclusion. Discovery occurs when individuals are involved primarily in using their mental processes to discover several concepts and principles.This education aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on student learning outcomes on the theme VIII of the area where I live in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 035938 Renun. The model used in this study is a survey type quantitative research method. The instruments used to collect data are in the form of questions and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing is done by using the "t" test. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes using the discovery learning model are in the good category with an average of 77.9. The results of this study indicate that the results of the correlation test can be seen in the correlation coefficient value of 0.380 meaning rcount (0.380) rtable (0.374 then Ha is accepted. Then there is a strong influence between discovery learning learning models on student learning outcomes with the theme of the area where I live in class IV SD Negeri 035938 Renun.. It can also be seen from the results of the t-test where t_count t_table is 5,648 1,706, thus stating that Ha is accepted. This indicates a significant positive effect from the use of discovery learning learning models on student learning outcomes with regional themes where I live in grade IV SD Negeri 035938 Renun 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning activity of grade III students of SD Negeri 1 Barongan by using the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model. This research is included in the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research subject of grade III students of SD Negeri 1 Barongan in the 2024/2025 school year with a total of 15 male students and 13 female students. This research step uses a research model developed by Prof. Dr. Suharsimi Arikunto. The data collection method used observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The method of data analysis uses observation sheets of observed students. The results of this study can be seen from the observation sheet of students' learning activity in each cycle, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The average learning activity percentage of students in cycle 1 was 73% and cycle 2 was 84%. In addition, the implementation of learning using the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model in cycle 1 reached 86.5% and cycle 2 reached 97%. From this study, the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model was able to increase the learning activity of grade III students of SD Negeri 1 Barongan. This is evidenced by the average learning activity score of students in each cycle.

How is the process of implementing the TGT method in developing listening skills in folklore texts for students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar? And what are the learning outcomes of listening skills in folklore texts after the application of the TGT model to students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar. The purpose of the study was to determine the process of implementing the TGT method in developing listening skills in folklore texts for students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Selayar and to determine the learning outcomes of listening skills in folklore texts after the application of the TGT method to students of class XI IPA 1 SMA 1 Selayar. The research method used is a qualitative method with this type of research being classroom action research (CAR). Classroom action research (CAR) can be used in the research process of improving the learning outcomes of students of SMAN 1 Selayar class XI IPA 1 with the TGT learning model. The results of the study The data above show that there is a significant difference in the number of students who have a range of scores 0-59, 60-74 and 75-85 experienced differences. For student scores 0-59 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 3 people, student scores 60-74 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 7 children, scores 85-75 in cycle I there were 5 children and for cycle II it became 14 children, for scores 86-100 from cycle I to Cycle II not a single student got that score.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether implementing Big Book media can improve social studies learning outcomes in Grade IV Students of UPT SD Negeri 21 Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of using big book media on social studies learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 21 Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency.This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design research type and One Group pretest-posttest design technique. The population and sample in this study were all grade IV students totaling 15 people with details of 4 males and 11 females. Data collection techniques include pretest-posttest, observation and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis technique formulas.After analyzing the data, the author found that there was a significant influence on the use of big book media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 21 Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency. This is evidenced by the results of the calculated t value obtained, which is 37.41, which is greater than the t table value, which is 2.14 on the basis of a significant 5% taken from the learning outcomes of Social Sciences (IPS) of fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 21 Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency, so it can be concluded that the use of big book media on learning Social Sciences (IPS) can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 21 Bontoramba, Jeneponto Regency.

Abstract

Basic teaching skills are essential competencies that prospective teachers must master to ensure effective classroom instruction. One widely used training method is microteaching. However, conventional microteaching still faces limitations in terms of media variation, teaching documentation, and data-based reflection. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital media integration in microteaching on improving the basic teaching skills of prospective teachers. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 30 students from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. Data were collected through an observation sheet covering seven components of basic teaching skills. The results showed a significant increase in teaching skill scores after participating in media-integrated microteaching. The highest improvement was found in the skills of explaining and questioning. The study concludes that the integration of digital media in microteaching is effective in enhancing basic teaching skills and provides a richer reflective learning experience for prospective teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of traditional games bebentengan in sprint running material in physical education lessons class V SD Negeri 060871 Medan. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used is Experiment with One Group Pretest and Posttest Design design. The population used was class V SD Negeri 060871 Medan which amounted to 76 students. The sample used was purposive sampling technique, namely V-B 25 students. Data collection techniques used are test techniques, test scores. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was an effect of traditional games bebentengan. This is tested from the value of the average difference in sprint running time in the pre-test 3,76 and post-test 3,44. Based on the data obtained from the hypothesis test results for the data, namely 3,22 > 1.70, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that “There is an Effect of Bebentengan Traditional Games on Sprint Running Material in Physical Education Class V State Elementary School 060871 Medan”. The results of the research on the traditional game method bebentengan obtained an increase in students' sprint running time so that it gave an influence on the ability to run sprints in students' running speed.
