Abstract

The rapid development of technology has a positive impact on the ease of communication between speakers and speech partners. Speech is not only directed by one person to 1 person, but one speech can be directed to a speech partner. One of the applications that is currently familiar is using social media. The social media used is WhatsApp. Students of SMP Negeri 5 Randudongkal often use WhatsApp status to convey an intention to other students. Based on the data on student WhatsApp statuses that researchers have collected, it turns out that there are perlocutions with various types such as: representative perlocutions, directive perlocutions, expressive perlocutions, commissive perlocutions, and declarative perlocutions. The purpose of this study was to analyze perlocutionary speech acts in the WhatsApp status of class VIIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Randudongkal in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, with data collection techniques that researchers use using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data population used was class VIII students with samples from classes VIII A to VIII E. The results of the study showed that in the students' WhatsApp status there were examples of perlocutionary acts with various types, including: 9 representative perlocutionary acts, 1 directive perlocutionary act, 14 expressive perlocutionary acts, 17 commissive perlocutionary acts, 1 declarative perlocutionary act. From these data, it can be concluded that the WhatsApp status of class VIII A to VIII E students is dominated by the type of commissive perlocutionary act. Commissive perlocutionary acts are speech acts that give the effect of doing what is stated or said by the speaker.

Abstract

This article discusses the integration of Ibn Khaldun's pragmatism values ​​in the Independent Curriculum and the role of teachers in driving social transformation through education. In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, education must adapt to technological developments and the needs of society. The Independent Curriculum provides flexibility for students and teachers, and emphasizes the relevance of education to local social and cultural conditions. Ibn Khaldun's thoughts, which emphasize practical and contextual education, are very relevant to support this approach. Teachers act as facilitators and agents of change who shape students' character and create innovative and socially responsible individuals. The research method used is library research with a qualitative approach, which aims to explore and analyze the role of teachers in the perspective of Ibn Khaldun's pragmatism. Through this research, it is hoped that insights can be generated regarding the strategy for implementing pragmatism values ​​in education, with the hope of producing a generation that is not only competitive in the digital era, but also contributes to a just and inclusive society.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of the integration between Islamic values and Minangkabau traditions on women's education, as well as its effects in the face of globalization. Using a literature study approach, this research collects and analyzes relevant literature to explore how these two factors complement each other in shaping women's educational patterns. The research findings show that despite the challenges posed by globalization, such as gender stereotypes and limited access to education, the integration of Islam and tradition provides a strong foundation for women's education. Educated women play an important role in the social and economic development of Minangkabau society, and there has been a positive shift in the perception of their roles in both family and society.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Kemampuan Menyimpulkan Isi Cerita melalui Media Buku Cerita Bergambar Siswa Kelas IV SD Inpres Macciniayo. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Inpres Macciniayo sebanyak 8 peserta didik. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah hasil Analisis Kemampuan Menyimpulkan Isi Cerita melalui Media Buku Cerita Bergambar Kelas IV SD Inpres Macciniayo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif jenis pendekatan deskriptif yang digunakan untuk menggali data secaara mendalam. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari penggunaan media buku cerita bergambar sangat efisien dalam menyimpulkan isi cerita pada kelas IV, media buku cerita bergambar membantu siswa mengaitkan teks dengan visual, dan membantu siswa memahami alur cerita, mengidentifikasi tokoh dan menangkap pesan moral dengan baik.

Abstract

The point of this study is to look into how the role-playing learning model affected the schoolwork of fourth-grade students at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya who were taking a Pancasila Education class with the theme of working together. A quasi-experimental strategy with a non-equivalent control group is used in this study, which combines a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The experimental and control groups will take a pre-test before the intervention and a post-test after the intervention as part of this plan. Based on the findings of this study, fourth-grade students' learning outcomes in Pancasila Education about working together have improved significantly. This group's average score before the test was 51, and their average score after the test was 85. The experimental group also had an average pre-test score of 51, but after the role-playing learning model was used, the average post-test score went up to 88. This way of teaching really helps students learn better in Pancasila, especially when it comes to grade IV joint partnership at SDN Margorejo 1/403 Surabaya during the 2024–2025 school year.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the educational values of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) embodied in the Sekujang tradition of the Tapak Gedung Village community, Tebat Karai District, Kepahiang Regency. The Sekujang tradition is a form of local cultural heritage that is still preserved today and contains important social values that contribute to character building, especially in terms of cooperation, care, and togetherness. This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using Spradley’s model of data analysis, which consists of four stages: domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis. The results show that the Sekujang tradition contains several educational values of mutual cooperation, such as the value of togetherness, social responsibility, solidarity among citizens, and respect for culture and ancestors. These values are reflected not only in physical activities but also in the attitudes and emotional involvement of the community in carrying out the tradition. Although facing challenges such as decreasing youth participation and lack of documentation, the Sekujang tradition still plays an essential role as a medium for character education based on local culture.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital telah memicu transformasi dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya melalui pembelajaran berbasis web mobile. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan teknologi jaringan 5G dalam meningkatkan inovasi pembelajaran digital. Dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai jurnal dan laporan teknologi pendidikan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jaringan 5G memberikan kecepatan tinggi, latensi rendah, dan kapasitas koneksi yang besar sehingga memungkinkan integrasi teknologi seperti Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam proses pembelajaran. Keunggulan ini mendorong pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, personal, dan real-time. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi 5G, antara lain keterbatasan infrastruktur di wilayah tertentu, biaya investasi yang tinggi, serta kesenjangan digital antar daerah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe the educational values embedded in the Melemang tradition as a form of local wisdom among the Padang Guci community in Tanjung Kemuning District, Kaur Regency. Melemang is a cultural heritage passed down through generations and contains noble values that can serve as a source of learning, both formally and informally. This research uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method based on James Spradley's model, which emphasizes in-depth interviews, participant observation, and domain, taxonomic, componential, and cultural theme analyses. The findings reveal that the Melemang tradition encompasses several important educational values, including religious values, social values, cooperation, responsibility, and cultural preservation. These values are reflected in the implementation of the tradition, cultural symbols, and community participation in preserving Melemang. Thus, the Melemang tradition serves not only as a customary ritual but also as a medium for character education and the strengthening of local identity among younger generations.

Abstract

Comic media development research to determine the validity and practicality of the comic media developed. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE method consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Comic media is a fun and affective method to convey in science learning. By using interesting images and text, comics can make fifth grade students easier to understand the material through more relaxed and simple dialogue, so that students feel entertained and not bored while learning. The results of the research from the development of comic media are stated to be valid and practical as seen through expert validation questionnaire data with an average value of 90.1% it is said that the comic media that has been developed can be categorized as very valid. very practical through student response questionnaires with an average value of 96,8% at the one to one stage, an average percentage value of 90.2% at the Small Group stage, and an average percentage value of 90.6% at the field test stage with very practical criteria.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce valid, practical, and effective lift the flap book media for grade V elementary school students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This development research produced lift the flap book media which is a printed learning medium. Data analysis techniques are carried out by validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The results of the analysis of data on the development of the elevator the flap book media of flora and fauna diversity material in Indonesia developed by the researcher were categorized as valid from the validation questionnaire sheet of experts with an average score of 88.7% with the criterion of "Very Valid". The media lift the flap book material on flora and fauna diversity in Indonesia developed by the researcher was categorized as practical from the student questionnaire sheet in the one-to-one trial with an average score of 93.9%, while the response of students in the small group trial with an average score of 95%, and the response of students in the large group trial with an average score of 93% with the criterion of "Very Practical". The media lift the flap book of flora and fauna diversity material developed by the researcher was categorized as effective with a pre-test score of 78.3% and a post-test score of 97.3% with the criterion of "Very Effective". Based on the results of validation and trials, it was concluded that the lift the flap book media of flora and fauna diversity material is suitable for use in the learning process.
