Abstract

This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes through a Role Playing method oriented to local wisdom on the topic of buying and selling in Grade 4 at SDN Bulus. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kurt Lewin's model, involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results showed significant improvements in student motivation and learning outcomes after implementing the Role Playing method. Student motivation increased from 56.62% in the pre-cycle to 81.94% in cycle II, while average learning outcomes improved from 44.28 to 82.85. This indicates that the Role Playing method oriented to local wisdom effectively enhances motivation and learning achievement in elementary school students.

Abstract

The development of this product uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research began with a needs analysis, teacher analysis, student analysis, and product design. The next step was developing the interactive learning media, conducting expert validation, and testing the interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline on the cultural diversity material with the predetermined respondents. The validation results from subject matter experts, language experts, and media experts show that the interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline is highly valid and very feasible for use, achieving an average percentage of 95.5%. In the trial phase, 28 students responded very positively, finding the media highly engaging, with an average score of 84%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline on the topic of cultural diversity for Grade IV developed in this study is proven to be valid, easy to use, engaging for students, and appropriate for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to review various literature discussing the impact of music education on the social skills of elementary school students. Music education is believed to have a positive effect on character development by enhancing students’ communication skills, empathy, cooperation, and self-regulation. This review adopts a literature study approach, analyzing eight national scholarly articles relevant to the topic. The articles were selected based on topic relevance, data completeness, and their contribution to explaining the relationship between music learning and social development in elementary-aged children. The findings indicate that music serves as an effective medium for social interaction. Collective musical activities such as group singing, ensemble instrument playing, and performing arts can foster active participation, empathy, tolerance, and the development of both verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Moreover, music education contributes to the development of self-discipline, responsibility, and appreciation for cultural diversity. Thus, music learning not only influences aesthetic aspects but also plays a significant role in character education and the social development of children. These findings reinforce the importance of integrating music into elementary education curricula as a holistic learning strategy. The study recommends further research exploring the specific effects of different types of musical activities on various dimensions of students’ social skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengapresiasi sebuah karya sastra, khususnya puisi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan hasil peningkatan apresiasi puisi peserta didik dengan diterapkannya media musikalisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, kajian dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa teknik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, kondisi kegiatan pada aspek perhatian sebagian besar peserta didik memperhatikan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik cukup antusias dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II, kegiatan pembelajaran peserta didik dalam mengapresiasi puisi menggunakan media musikalisasi tersebut peserta didik semakin antusias untuk berdiskusi dengan kelompoknya. Selain itu, peserta didik juga terlihat lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran dan lebih senang dalam apresiasi puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi puisi melalui media musikalisasi. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil pretes, siklus I, dan siklus II. Pertama, berdasarkan pretes diperoleh hasil dengan nilai rata-rata 47, 9. Kedua, berdasarkan siklus I diperoleh hasil dengan nilai rata-rata 71, 1. Ketiga, berdasarkan siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata 82, 94. Hasil ini menunjukkan kenaikan sebesar 23, 2 dari pretes ke siklus I, dan naik sebesar 11, 84 dari siklus I ke siklus II. Kata kunci: apresiasi puisi, musikalisasi, penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has had a major impact on the world of education, especially at the elementary school level. One of the growing innovations is the use of interactive learning media in supporting the learning process of mathematics. This study aims to examine the effectiveness and obstacles faced in the application of interactive learning media to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school students. The research method used is a literature study by analysing a number of relevant national and international scientific journals published from 2016 to 2025. The results showed that interactive learning media, such as interactive PowerPoint, educational videos, game-based applications, and quiz platforms such as Kahoot, have a positive impact on improving learning outcomes, motivation, and understanding of abstract mathematics concepts. However, in its application, there are still various obstacles, such as limited technological facilities, lack of teacher competence in operating digital media, and limited internet access in some areas. Therefore, collaborative efforts between schools, government, and educators are needed to provide adequate facilities and continuous training to optimise the use of interactive learning media in primary schools.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the role playing activities carried out by students on the concept of rights and obligations at home, how the attractiveness of the application of role playing models for students in grade IV SD Balfai, how learning outcomes after applying role playing models and Quizwhizzer media. With the aim of describing the course of role playing activities carried out by students on the concept of rights and obligations at home, describing the attractiveness of the application of the role playing model for fourth grade students of Balfai Elementary School, describing learning outcomes after applying the role playing model and Quizwhizzer media. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, teacher activity observations, learner activities and documentation. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Balfai, Kupang Regency, totaling 24 students consisting of 15 boys and 9 girls. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes. Learning completeness increased from 33% in the pre-cycle to 71% in cycle I, and reached 88% in cycle II. Thus, the Role Playing learning model assisted by interactive media such as Quizwhizzer can be an effective alternative learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes in schools.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat industri kuliner mendorong pelaku usaha untuk terus berinovasi dalam menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat. Salah satu strategi umum yang digunakan adalah diversifikasi produk, yaitu upaya menciptakan berbagai varian produk baru yang masih relevan dengan produk utama guna menarik minat konsumen dan memperluas pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan efektivitas efektivitas strategi diversifikasi produk yang diterapkan oleh Elna Cake and Bakery di Kota Bukittinggi dalam meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pemilik, manajer, staf, serta konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diversifikasi produk yang dilakukan oleh Elna mencakup penambahan berbagai varian kue ulang tahun, kue tradisional, kue kering, roti, dan dessert kekinian. Strategi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan menjaga stabilitas penjualan sepanjang tahun. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam menjaga konsistensi rasa, efisiensi produksi, serta pemahaman terhadap preferensi konsumen yang terus berubah. Oleh karena itu, Elna perlu melakukan evaluasi secara berkala terhadap produk, meningkatkan pelatihan sumber daya manusia, serta mengoptimalkan pemasaran digital. Kesuksesan Elna menjadi contoh praktik diversifikasi produk yang relevan dan berkelanjutan, serta mencerminkan pentingnya adaptasi terhadap tren dan kebutuhan pasar. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pelaku usaha kuliner lokal lainnya dalam merancang strategi produk yang kompetitif, inovatif, dan berbasis kearifan lokal untuk memenangkan persaingan pasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence teacher performance, namelycompensation, work motivation, and work environment at MI Miftahul HudaTegalsambi Tahunan Jepara. Teacher performance is a key factor in the successof education, so it is important to understand the aspects that support it. Thisresearch uses a qualitative approach of case study type with data collectiontechniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showthat adequate compensation, high levels of work motivation and a conducive workenvironment have a positive influence on improving teacher performance. Thefindings provide strategic recommendations for policy makers and schoolmanagement in an effort to improve the quality of education in a sustainablemanner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving the learning outcomes of class X Accounting and Institutional Finance (AKL) students at SMKS Labor Fostered by FKIP Universitas Riau Pekanbaru on the Trial Balance material. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles, with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages in each cycle. Learning outcome data were collected through assessment and analyzed quantitatively using the paired samples t-test. The results showed an increase in the average value from 87.15 in cycle I to 94.07 in cycle II. The paired samples t-test statistical test produced a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.002 <0.05, which indicates a significant difference between learning outcomes in cycles I and II. As many as 74.1% of students experienced an increase in value, while the rest maintained or experienced a slight decrease. In addition, students showed an active attitude and positive response to the implementation of PBL. In conclusion, the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in improving accounting learning outcomes, while encouraging active involvement and critical thinking skills of students. Therefore, this model is recommended to be applied in accounting learning and other subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah strategi persaingan yang dilakukan pedagang pakaian tradisional jadi di pasar Lansek Kodok ditengah berkembangnya platform penjualan online yang telah menggeser perilaku belanja konsumenyang sebelumnya setia berbelanja di pasar tradisional, kini lebih memilih berbelanja secara online , hal ini berdampak pada penurunan pendapatan pedagang pasar Lansek Kodok secara signifikan selama tiga tahun terkhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam strategi yang diterapkan oleh pedagang pakaian jadi dan bagaimana penerapan strategi bersaing dari perspektif bisnis syari'ah yang fokus pada prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis Islam yaitu kejujuran dalam melakukan penjualan beli, keterbukaan atau transparansi, keadilan dalam melakukan transaksi, serta tanggung jawab sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur dengan pedagang dan konsumen, serta dokumentasi. Metode penganalisis data yang digunakan adalah metode interaktif menurut Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan/ Verivikasi Data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedagang pakaian tradisional jadi di pasar Lansek Kodok menerapkan beberpa strategi bersaing yaitu strategi fokus pada pelanggan lokal dari kalangan biasa-biasa saja yang menjadi pilihan utama dengan mengutamakan loyalitas pelanggan melalui pendekatan personal, layanan fleksibel, dan hubungan sosial yang erat. Pedagang juga menerapkan strategi diferensiasi layanan seperti kemudahan dalam proses tawar-menawar, memberikan kelonggaran pembayaran, serta kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan produk dengan selera lokal dan kebutuhan musiman.
