Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 and 3 students at UPT SDN 21 Barru in listening to Indonesian reading texts through the application of innovative learning strategies. The problem identified is the low ability of students to understand the content of reading texts which is caused by a lack of variety in learning methods and less than optimal use of learning media. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method carried out in two cycles, where each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that there is an increase in learning outcomes as seen from the average student score which has increased in each cycle and the increase in active participation of students during the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the development of non-carbon and carbon bettechnology in table tennis games. Table tennis as a sport that relies on speed,accuracy, and strategy has undergone significant evolution in the development ofequipment, especially the bet which is the main instrument of the player. Themethod used in this research is a comprehensive literature study by analyzingfindings from 70 reliable references, consisting of 40 international sources and 30national sources, regarding material developments, manufacturing processes, andthe impact of bet technology on athlete performance. The results show that thedevelopment of non-carbon bet has diversified in the use of wood materials withinnovations in lamination techniques, while carbon bet has revolutionized with theapplication of nanotechnology and advanced composite fibers. A comparison ofthe two technologies shows that carbon bet offers advantages in terms of strength,durability and high-level performance, while non-carbon bet is still relevant forbeginner players and certain styles of play. Recent innovations have led to theintegration of sustainable materials and hybrid technologies that optimizeperformance while taking into account environmental aspects. In conclusion, theselection of the optimal bet technology depends on the players characteristics,playing technique, and level of competition, and future development trends will beoriented towards personalization, environmental friendliness, and materialefficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of collaborative learning through group discussions in improving the academic achievement of class X students of Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) in the subject of Social Sciences at SMKS Labor Pekanbaru, University of Riau. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results of the study showed an increase in the average value of students from 79.73 in cycle I to 85.06 in cycle II. Statistical tests with paired sample t-test showed a significant increase with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), and an average increase in value of 4.97 points. As many as 81.8% of students experienced an increase in learning outcomes, and correlation analysis showed a significant positive relationship between values before and after treatment with a significance value of 0.018. In addition to having an impact on academic improvement, collaborative learning also strengthens students' social skills such as cooperation, communication, and responsibility. Thus, collaborative learning through group discussions has proven to be effective and worthy of being applied sustainably in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran moral berbasis wordwall pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas V sekolah dasar. Media pembelajaran ini dirancang untuk mengatasi keterbatasan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang menarik dan kurang efektif dalam membangun keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) yang dimodifikasi pada tahap pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah 10 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 111 Pekanbaru yang telah menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Validasi oleh ahli materi dan media memperoleh indeks validitas Aiken,s sebesar 0.91 untuk aspek media dan 0.90 untuk aspek materi. Uji coba respon guru diperoleh persentase rata-rata skor 99% degan kategori sangat praktis. Uji coba terbatas diperoleh persentase rata- rata skor 94% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba validasi, uji coba rspon guru, dan uji coba terbatas, maka media pembelajaran moral berbasis wordwall untuk siswa sekolah dasar sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with a differentiation approach in improving student motivation and cooperation in class XI , Senior High School 15 Pekanbaru. The background of this study is the initial observation that shows low motivation and level of student cooperation in learning. The differentiation approach is integrated into the PBL stages to accommodate the diversity of student characteristics. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires, observation sheets, actions, and student reflections. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the PBL learning model with a differentiation approach succeeded in improving student motivation and cooperation. The results of this study showed a significant increase in learning motivation. In the pre- cycle, the average total student motivation was only 2.54. After the implementation of PBL in Cycle I, the average motivation increased to 3.12, and in Cycle II it increased again to 3.88.

Abstract

Technological developments in the world of sports have brought significantchanges in the training methods and skills development of athletes, including inbadminton which requires intensive and structured training to achieve optimalperformance. This study aims to examine the development of a modifiedshuttlecock launcher as an alternative technology to support badminton trainingthat is efficient and affordable for various sports participants. As a sportstechnology innovation, the modified shuttlecock launcher is designed to meet theneeds of independent training, improve consistency, and provide a moremeasurable and systematic variation of training programs. The research methoduses a research and development approach with a focus on modifying mechanicaland electronic components to create an affordable tool that still performsadequately for training needs. The results showed that the modified shuttlecocklauncher was able to increase training efficiency in terms of time, energy, and costcompared to conventional methods or the use of commercial tools, as well asproviding significant benefits in increasing the consistency of strokes and theaccuracy of players technical skills. This study concludes that the development ofmodified shuttlecock launching technology is an innovative solution that bridgesthe gap in technology accessibility in badminton, providing an efficient andaffordable alternative for athletes, coaches, and sports institutions with limitedresources. The implications of this research provide a basis for the furtherdevelopment of adaptive and inclusive sports technology, as well as encouragingan ecosystem of innovation in improving the quality of badminton training inIndonesia and the world.

Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the flood phenomenon in Medan City, focusing on its causes, social impacts, community responses, and the role of local government in disaster mitigation. Utilizing a qualitative approach with descriptive- analytical methods, data were collected through in-depth interviews and literature review. The findings reveal that floods in Medan are driven by a combination of natural factors such as high rainfall and human factors like land-use change and poor drainage systems. The social impacts include economic losses, health issues, disruption of education, and increased social tensions. Community responses show strong solidarity but also reveal disparities in access to aid. While the local government has implemented various mitigation efforts, they remain suboptimal due to weak inter-agency coordination, budget constraints, and limited community participation. The study recommends a more participatory and sustainable approach to disaster mitigation planning.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the SQ4R strategy during the 2023/2025 academic year. The type of research employed is a non-equivalent control group design involving two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The subjects of this study were Class VB as the control group, consisting of 21 students, and Class VA as the experimental group, also consisting of 21 students. The researcher implemented the SQ4R strategy in the experimental class, while conventional teaching methods were applied in the control class. Students' reading comprehension skills were measured using a test based on reading materials. The results of the study showed that the hypothesis tested using the t-test yielded a significance value of 0.024 < 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. These findings suggest that the SQ4R strategy has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase students' interest in learning Economics by utilizing web-based educational media, specifically Blooket. The research employs the Kurt Lewin model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study was Class X-8 students at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Data were collected through observations, student interest questionnaires, interviews, and supporting documentation, and were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning interest between the first and second cycles. In the first cycle, the average student interest score was 70.80% (categorized as good), and it increased to 77.07% in the second cycle. The highest increases were recorded in the indicators of enjoyment (82.15%) and enthusiasm (79.44%). These findings suggest that the integration of Blooket in the learning process not only fosters a fun and competitive learning atmosphere but also encourages student motivation and active engagement, especially in learning Economics. Therefore, Blooket proves to be an effective and innovative tool in enhancing students' learning interest.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the learning process that is not optimal so that it has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students' mathematics, which is marked by the acquisition of students' daily mathematics test results where only 1 person reaches the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). In addition, the teacher has not used a varied learning model so that students' learning outcomes are low. This study aims to determine the effect of the Card sort type Active Learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 160 Barru. This study used a Quantitative research method pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design model. Pretest was carried out before being given treatment to see the initial ability of students, after being given treatment in the form of an Active Learning type Card Sort model, a posttest was carried out to see the learning outcomes after being given treatment. The samples in this study were 10 fourth grade students of SDN 160 Barru. Data obtained through pretest-posttest and observation were then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that the application of the Card Sort type of Active Learning model had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of mathematics class IV SDN 160 Barru. In the pretest, the average student score was 54.5 with a 10% completeness rate. While in the posttest, the average student score increased to 82.8 with a 100% completion rate. Observations also showed that students were more active in the learning process. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Card Sort type Active Learning model has an effect in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 160 Barru
