Abstract

Ona Marta Iyarmasa, 2025. Using the Role Play Method to Improve Students' Speaking Skills at Senior High School (Supervised by Muliaty Ibrahim and Abdul Malik Iskandar). This study aims to examine the effect of using the role play method on the speaking skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 13 Makassar in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research design employed a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The study population consisted of 72 students divided into two classes: a control class and an experimental class. The research involved administering a pre-test and post-test, followed by four treatment sessions using the role play method. Data were collected through the pre-test and post-test, in which students' speaking performance scores were evaluated. The results showed that the average pre-test score of the control group was 63.00, increasing to 73.50 in the post-test. In the experimental group, the average pre-lest score was 68.36, rising to 78.86 in the post-test. There was a significant difference in the mean scores of the experimental class, with an increase of 7.9 points after the treatment. The significance level was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (HO) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (HI) was accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the role play method significantly improved the speaking skills of eleventh-grade students (classes XI-5 and XI-6) at SMA Negeri 13 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pembinaan kepribadian di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIB Tanjung Pati dengan menggunakan model evaluasi Discrepancy oleh Malcolm M. Provus. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pembinaan kepribadian narapidana dalam mendukung proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial pasca-pemidanaan, serta belum optimalnya pelaksanaan program yang ada akibat berbagai kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, serta tidak adanya mekanisme evaluasi yang sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari petugas pembinaan, dan narapidana yang mengikuti program kepribadian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara standar yang ditetapkan dengan pelaksanaan program, khususnya pada aspek desain program, operasionalisasi, proses pelaksanaan, dan hasil akhir. Beberapa hambatan utama yang ditemukan antara lain adalah tidak adanya SOP tertulis, ketidakberaturan jadwal kegiatan dengan waktu kunjungan, penggunaan fasilitas yang tidak representatif, serta keterbatasan tenaga pengajar yang profesional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembinaan kepribadian belum sepenuhnya berjalan sesuai harapan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan dalam perencanaan, penguatan regulasi, serta pengalokasian sumber daya yang lebih tepat agar tujuan pembinaan kepribadian sebagai bagian dari sistem pemasyarakatan dapat tercapai secara optimal.

Abstract

Poor waste management remains a major environmental problem, including in elementary schools. Students' lack of understanding of how to separate organic and inorganic waste can negatively impact their health and the cleanliness of the surrounding environment. Therefore, the goal of this community service activity was to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of waste management among students at SDN 15 Sumanik by providing them with direct instruction and practice in sorting waste. Teachers and students in grades IV, V, and VI of SDN 15 Sumanik were partners in this activity. Outreach, field practice, interactive materials, and waste sorting demonstrations were among the methods employed. The results of the activity showed that students had a better understanding of waste types and were more adept at sorting waste independently. Furthermore, educators stated that this activity made a positive contribution to enhancing environmentally conscious character education in schools. This education not only increased environmental awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility in students for maintaining the cleanliness of their school environment. These results are essential because contextual education in elementary schools will develop a young generation that cares about the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of anti-bullying socialization in improving students’ understanding and empathy in schools. The background of this research is the persistence of bullying cases that cause negative impacts on students’ psychological, social, and academic development. Schools, as formal educational institutions, have an important responsibility to conduct preventive efforts, one of which is through anti-bullying programs. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The population consisted of junior high school students, with 80 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The questionnaire consisted of 10 items measuring aspects of understanding, social awareness, and students’ assessment of the program. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution and percentages. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents, more than 80 percent, chose strongly agree and agree across all indicators. Most students stated that they understood the definition and types of bullying, knew appropriate actions to take when witnessing bullying, and perceived the material as easy to understand. Furthermore, respondents admitted to feeling more empathetic toward peers and committed not to engage in bullying after the program. The success of the socialization was also influenced by the clarity, communicative delivery, and engaging presentation of the material. Another key finding is that students strongly supported the idea of conducting such programs regularly in schools

Abstract

The Association Between Student Learning Outcomes and Self-Efficacy for Class IV Theme 1 Sub-theme 1 SDN Cikaret 1 Bogor City. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Pakuan University, Bogor 2022, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. This study is quantitative and uses a correlational research methodology. In this study, grade IV topic 1 sub-theme 1 Elementary School Cikaret 1 Bogor City students' learning results will be compared to their level of self-efficacy. 120 participants, who were SDN Cikaret 1 fourth graders, made up the study's sample. In this investigation, 56 samples were collected. Between July and August of 2022, this study was conducted. The study's findings demonstrate that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and student learning outcomes to the extent of 25.4%, and the remaining 74.6% is influenced by other factors, according to statistical analysis of the correlation coefficient (rxy) 0.504 and coefficient of determination (r2) 0.254, or 25.4%. Through the regression equation = 33.94 + (0.40X), which states that each increase in one unit of self-efficacy will boost learning outcomes by 0.40, self-efficacy can influence the average student learning outcomes by as much as 25.4%. With a significance level of 0.05, the coefficient tcount 4.265 is calculated to be significantly more significant than ttable 2.045.Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and student learning outcomes for Class IV Theme 1 Sub-theme 1 SDN Cikaret 1 Bogor City, Academic Year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Partisipasi merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam suatu proses pembelajaran karena dapat merangsang keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik untuk berpartisipasi dalam berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran. Salah satu masalah yang sering muncul adalah kurangnya partisipasi peserta didik dalam kegiatan di kelas. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan metode Index Card Match. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III A SDN Model Terpadu Madani sebanyak 32 peserta didik yang terdiri atas 13 orang laki-laki dan 19 orang Perempuan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hail penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran di kelas dengan menggunakan metode Index Card Match (ICM) yang dapat dilihat pada tabel peningkatan partisipasi belajar peserta didik kelas III A SDN Model Terpadu Madani. Pada siklus I, partisipasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 43,24% dan pada siklus II sebesar 65,42%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan penggunaan metode Index Card Match (ICM) dalam pembelajaran di kelas III Sekolah Dasar dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study examines the low initial reading skills and abilities of students in second grade at SDN 108/II Perumnas Muara Bungo. This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of second grade students' beginning reading skills using the SAS (Structural Analysis and Synthesis) method.This research method is Classroom Action Research (CLRS). This study consists of two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were second graders, consisting of one teacher and 22 students at Public Elementary School 108/II Perumnas. The results of this study show that teacher participation in the learning process was 76% in cycle I, meeting I, and increased to 80% in cycle I, meeting II. Furthermore, in cycle II, meeting I and II, the teacher participation increased again to 100%.The results obtained by students during the learning process in Cycle I, meeting I, were 52%, but in Cycle I, meeting II, they increased to 64%, which was considered unachievable. Furthermore, in Cycle II, meeting I, they increased to 88%, and in Cycle II, meeting II, they increased again to 100%, which was considered achieved. Observations of the assessment of students' beginning reading tests in Cycle I showed that only 9 students, or 60%, achieved the target. In Cycle II, 11 students, or 82%, achieved the target and were declared successful.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade IV at SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya, this can be seen from the results of initial observations conducted by the researcher that during the learning process there were students who were sleepy because the learning was not interactive and participatory. This has an impact on student learning outcomes, namely only 12.5% ​​who obtained grades in the achievement criteria. The purpose of the study is to increase interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education using the scramble learning model.The research method used in this study is classroom action research, the subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. In the implementation of the research conducted by the researcher consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings, each meeting consisting of four stages: planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. The research data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation.The results of the study indicate that the use of the scramble learning model can increase interest and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in class IV of SDN 186/II Kuamang Jaya. This can be seen from the increase in the results of educator observations in cycle I with an average percentage of 78.12% and in cycle II with an average percentage of 90.62% with the Very Good category. The increase in students' learning interest, in cycle I reached 72.88% in the sufficient category and in cycle II increased to 95.8% with the Very Good category. The increase in students' learning outcomes in cycle I reached 58.3% in the Very Poor category and cycle II reached 83.3% with the Good category.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this study is whether the truth or dare card media assisted by a game-based learning model has an effect on learning outcomes in Pancasila learning for third-grade students of SDN Limbung Puteri. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of truth or dare card media assisted by a game-based learning model on learning outcomes in Pancasila learning for third-grade students of SDN Limbung Puteri. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type. The results of the study showed a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in achieving learning outcomes. In the experimental class, the average posttest score reached 96.48, while in the control class it was only 72.96. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of Truth or Dare Card Media Assisted by a Game-Based Learning Model can improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students of SDN Limbung Puteri.

Abstract

This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the study were students of grade IV of Cipatat State Elementary School, Bogor Regency, consisting of 20 students, the study was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. The purpose of this study was to develop and determine how to test the feasibility of the Development of E-Evaluation Assisted by Wordwall in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the study showed that the Development of E-Evaluation Assisted by Wordwall has a feasibility criterion of "Very Feasible" for use. This can be seen from the results of the validity test from the experts, namely media experts with a percentage of 95%, material experts 97.5%, and language experts 97.5% with the category of "Very Feasible" criteria in the range of 80% -100%. In addition, the students' response to the Development of E-Evaluation Assisted by Wordwall obtained a percentage result of 98.3% with the category of "Very Eligible" for use. Then the results of the Pretest and Posttest obtained an N-Gain result of 0.61 with the criteria of "Moderate" between the range of 0.30 ≤ G < 0.70. Thus, it can be concluded that the Development of E-Evaluation Assisted by Wordwall is very feasible for use.
