Abstract

This research examines the crime of extortion in the tourism business in North Sumatra from an Islamic legal perspective. Extortion has become a detrimental problem for the tourism sector due to the practice of illegal levies carried out by certain individuals, including entrance fees without official tickets, illegal parking fees, and administrative fees without permits. This practice not only damages the comfort of tourists and the image of tourist destinations but also hinders regional economic growth. In Indonesian positive law, extortion is regulatedas a criminal act of corruption with strict criminal sanctions. However, weak law enforcement makes this practice difficult to eradicate. From an Islamic legal perspective, extortion is an evil act and a major sin because it takes the rights of others unlawfully and violates the principles of justice, honesty, and trustworthiness. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review, collecting and analyzing data from various sources, such as books, journals, and articles, without direct fieldwork. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the topic based on relevant written sources. Efforts to eradicate extortion in North Sumatra tourism must be carried out comprehensively with synergy between the government, religious leaders, business actors, and the community. Strict law enforcement, tariff transparency, strict supervision, and the implementation of e government are the main strategies. In addition, moral education and community empowerment based on Islamic values can strengthen a clean and just tourism culture. With these steps, it is hoped that the tourism sector in North Sumatra can develop more healthily and sustainably, providing optimal benefits to the community and the nation.

Abstract

Through the creation of wall magazine (madding) about biodiversity materials, this classroom action research aims to improve the activity and desire of fourth-grade elementary school students to learn. A total of 25 students participated in the study. Planning, action, observation, and reflection are the three research cycles used. The tools employed are observation sheets for student activity and a questionnaire about their motivation. The questionnaire was administered in the first and third cycle to assess how much students’ desire to learn has change. The findings showed that students’ activeness improved in every cycle, increasing from 28% in the pre-cycle to 40% in the first cycle, 68% in the second cycle, and reaching 88% in the third cycle. Students learning motivation also significantly increased, with the average score rising from 2.6 in the first cycle to 3.55 in the third cycle. Thus, the use of wall magazine ad a project-based learning medium is effective in improving students’ activeness and learning motivation in science lessons for elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan media konkret dan interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 1B SDN 22 Palu. Data didapatkan melalui observasi, angket motivasi belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media konkret dan interaktif efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika peserta didik. Skor rata-rata motivasi belajar matematika pada fase pra tindakan meningkat dari 56% menjadi 88% pada akhir siklus II. Media konkret secara langsung membantu peserta didik memahami konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan secara konkret, sedangkan media interaktif seperti kuis interaktif, kartu permainan operasi hitung dan lembar kerja cetak interaktif meningkatkan keterlibatan dan minat belajar peserta didik. Abstract

Penyebab kurangnya minat baca peserta didik yakni adanya pengaruh oleh Gadget yang banyak memiliki fitur permainan atau aplikasi yang memicu peserta didik berfokus pada apa yang mereka lihat atau tonton dan kurangnya perhatian orang tua dalam mengatur jadwal anak untuk membiasakan membaca berapa menit di rumah, kemudian kurangnya kreatifitas guru dalam memberikan bahan bacaan yang menarik perhatian peserta didik. Untuk itu, perlu adanya komunikasi yang baik anatara guru dan orang tua untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dan guru dapat menerapkan metode dan strategi apa yang akan digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahn tersebut. Tujuan penelitin ini untuk meningkatkn minat baca peserta didik melalui penerapan metode PAIKEM. Jenis penelitiannya adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK), teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menghitung nilai persentase dari lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik dan lembar observasi minat belajar peserta didik. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus II yaitu sebesar 56,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan penerapan metode PAIKEM dapat meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik di kelas III.A SDN Model Terpadu Madani.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of motivation of students to attend and study at school so that it will have a negative impact on the learning outcomes of these students. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the effect of the Shared Integrated learning model on increasing the learning motivation of students, especially for students who are at the elementary school level. This type of research is qualitative research where researchers collect various information from reviewing journals related to the problem and conducting literature studies. Literature study here researchers do by collecting related data. In its implementation in the learning process, this integrated learning model is generally used by educators at Elementary Schools because this integrated learning model is appointed according to what is needed for the development of students. What is expected in this study is to be able to increase student learning motivation so that it will also have an impact on the learning outcomes achieved by these students.

Abstract

This classroom action research served as a strategic initiative to elevate students’ mathematics achievement by applying the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The research was conducted with 28 fifth-grade learners from class V-B at SD Negeri 22 Palu, comprising 16 male and 12 female students. Data collection involved a combination of classroom observations and assessments of learning outcomes. The results demonstrated a steady and positive trajectory in student achievement from the initial (pre-action) stage through to the second cycle. In the early phase, 18 students met the minimum competency standards. This figure rose to 20 students during the first cycle, and further increased to 23 students in the second. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the TaRL approach in aligning instruction with learners' actual proficiency levels, thereby significantly enhancing mathematics learning outcomes among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 22 Palu.

Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs in grade VIII and IX students at SMPN 3 Pasaman. There are several students who have low learning achievement because they are indicated to have a self-concept that is not optimal and are indicated to have low self-confidence. This study aims to: (1) determine how much influence self-concept has on learning achievement (2) how much influence self-confidence has on learning achievement (3) how much influence self-concept and self-confidence have together on learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative type. The population in this study was 164 students. The sampling technique in this study used a stratified random sampling technique, which means taking tiered random samples so that the sampling per class is evenly distributed according to the number of students per class. The sample in this study was 116 samples. The data collection technique used questionnaires and documentation. The instrument used in this study was a self-concept and self-confidence questionnaire developed by the researcher. The data analysis conducted to test the research hypothesis was simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of self-concept (X1) on learning achievement (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a percentage level of 27.8%. (2) there is a positive and significant influence of the self-confidence variable (X2) on learning achievement (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a percentage level of 23.6%. (3) there is a significant influence of self-concept (X1) and self-confidence (X2) together on learning achievement with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a percentage level of 37.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between physical education and character building of students. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 050707 Telaga Jernih. The sample in the study were all 36 fourth grade students (IVA and IVB). The research method used was a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and distribution of closed questionnaires based on a Likert scale consisting of 30 statements. Data analysis was carried out through instrument validity and reliability tests, normality tests, and Spearman's rho correlation tests because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that the research instrument was declared valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha value > 0.70. The normality test produced a significance of <0.05, so the data were not normal and were analyzed using Spearman's rho. The correlation results showed a coefficient value of 0.418 with a significance of 0.011 (<0.05), which means there is a positive and significant relationship between physical education and character building of students. Thus, this study is the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This confirms that the better the implementation of physical education, the better the character development of students, particularly in the areas of honesty, discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship, and tolerance. Therefore, physical education plays a crucial role not only in developing physical skills but also in developing positive character in elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kata (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik melalui metode permainan mencari kartu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III D SDN Model Terpadu Madani sebanyak 30 peserta didik yang terdiri atas 19 peserta didik laki-laki dan 11 peserta didik perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menghitung nilai persentase dari lembar aktivitas peserta didik dan lembar observasi keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan keaktifan belajar dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus II yaitu sebesar 63,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan mencari kartu dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas III D SD Negeri Model Terpadu Madani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS melalui pemanfaatan game edukasi berbasis Wordwall dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik kelas IIIa SDN Inpres 3 Tondo. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket motivasi belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi berbasis Wordwall efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPAS peserta didik. Terbukti dari peningkatan skor rata-rata motivasi belajar IPAS yang mengalami kenaikan signifikan dari fase pra Tindakan 48,1% hingga akhir siklus II 86,2%. Berbagai jenis game seperti maze chase, kuis interaktif, serta fitur pemberian umpan balik secara langsung mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik secara signifikan.
