Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan (validitas dan kepraktisan) media pembelajara interaktif (MPI) berbasis Canva pada materi rasio untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh anggapan bahwa materi rasio sering kali dianggap abstrak oleh siswa, yang berakibatkan pada rendahnya minat dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli media, ahli materi dan siswa SD. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi dan respons siswa. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan MPI berbasis Canva yang diberi nama “Hebat” memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat tinggi. Uji validasi oleh ahli media menghasilkan rata-rata 95,45%, membuktikan kelayakan desain dan konten. Sementara, uji kepraktisan berdasarkan ahli materi mencapai rata-rata 91,66%, menunjukkan media mudah digunakan, menarik, bermanfaat bagi siswa.

Abstract

The classroom action research aimed to improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at Krandon Lor 01 Public Elementary School through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study had 21 subjects, consisting of 14 male students and 7 female students. The study was conducted in two cycles using Kemmis and McTaggart's spiral design, which included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through observation of student collaboration activities, interviews with homeroom teachers, took documentation, subsequently analyzed by descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative. The result of pre-cycle showed that students' collaboration skills were still low, as indicated by their skills in interacting within groups, taking responsibility for completing tasks, and helping each other in group activities, with all students failing to reach the impressive category. After implementing PBL in cycle I and making improvements in cycle II through the formation of group leaders, division of task responsibilities, strengthening of interactions, and the giving of rewards, the percentage of students in the good category increased significantly. At the end of cycle II, the indicators for interacting with the group reached 85%, taking responsibility for completing tasks shows 80%, and helping each other in group activities shows 85%, being said that those percentage exceeding the success criteria of ≥80% for each indicator. Thus, the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has been proven to be able to improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students at Krandon Lor 01 Public Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen students’ democratic attitudes through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of Pancasila Values, supported by group seating classroom management and academic supervision to create inclusive learning interactions in Grade V of SDN Ngadirejo. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The participants consisted of 23 students, including 8 boys and 15 girls. The research instruments included an observation sheet for democratic attitudes, a checklist for inclusive interaction, an assessment sheet for PBL implementation, and an academic supervision form. The findings indicate that the use of authentic problems in PBL effectively increases equal participation in group discussions, enhances students’ respect for differing opinions, and encourages decision-making through deliberation. The application of group seating successfully fostered more collaborative group dynamics, enabling students to interact more openly and supportively. Additionally, academic supervision helped teachers refine facilitation strategies, strengthen classroom management, and ensure that learning interactions remained inclusive for all students. Overall, the study concludes that the synergy between PBL, collaborative classroom management, and academic supervision is effective in promoting a democratic and inclusive learning culture in elementary schools.

Abstract

Keterlambatan pemahaman pada siswa sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu tantangan serius dalam dunia pendidikan dasar yang dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran secara optimal. Kondisi ini tidak hanya memengaruhi pencapaian akademik jangka pendek, tetapi juga berdampak terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam jangka panjang. Keterlambatan pemahaman sering kali tidak terdeteksi sejak dini karena minimnya evaluasi formatif dan komunikasi intensif antara guru dan orang tua. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi secara dini berbagai faktor penyebab keterlambatan pemahaman serta mendeskripsikan strategi penanganan yang dilakukan oleh guru di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru dan siswa kelas V di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan pemahaman siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti kemampuan kognitif, motivasi belajar, dan kondisi psikologis, serta faktor eksternal, seperti metode pengajaran yang kurang variatif, lingkungan belajar yang kurang kondusif, dan minimnya keterlibatan orang tua. Upaya identifikasi dini dilakukan melalui evaluasi formatif rutin, pengamatan perilaku belajar siswa, serta komunikasi intensif dengan orang tua. Adapun strategi penanganan yang efektif meliputi pembelajaran remedial terstruktur, penggunaan media interaktif berbasis teknologi, dan pendekatan individual. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan dalam mengatasi keterlambatan pemahaman sangat bergantung pada kolaborasi aktif antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua dalam membangun sistem deteksi serta intervensi yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

Learning mathematics in elementary school requires a strong conceptual understanding, particularly in measurement topics such as length, weight, time, and the volume of cubes and rectangular prisms, which are often perceived as abstract by students. This study aims to review and analyze previous research related to the use of concrete media in teaching measurement concepts in elementary schools. This research employed a literature review method by collecting and examining relevant articles from accredited national journals and reputable online journals. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach to identify patterns, similarities, and differences in research findings. The results of the literature review indicate that the use of concrete media, such as measuring tools, unit ladders, Smartbox, Boxes Paper, unit cubes, and other manipulatives, has a positive impact on students’ conceptual understanding, learning engagement, and learning outcomes. Concrete media are effective in helping students understand measurement concepts in a meaningful way, particularly for length and weight, while studies on volume measurement remain limited but show promising results through the use of manipulatives. Therefore, the integration of concrete media in mathematics instruction is strongly recommended to enhance the effectiveness of measurement learning in elementary schools. Abstract

Data processing is an essential topic in elementary school mathematics learning because it plays an important role in developing students’ statistical literacy, logical thinking, and data-based decision-making skills. However, various studies indicate that elementary school students still experience difficulties and misconceptions in understanding basic statistical concepts such as mean, median, and mode, as well as in interpreting data presented in tables and diagrams. This study aims to review and synthesize research findings related to the concept of data processing in elementary schools. The research employed a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources consisted of national and international journal articles relevant to data processing learning at the elementary school level, collected through academic databases and repositories. The data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns of learning difficulties, misconceptions, and effective instructional strategies. The results of the literature review show that students’ difficulties are influenced by weak conceptual understanding, procedural-oriented learning, and low learning engagement. Furthermore, contextual learning approaches, the use of instructional media, and student-centered learning models have been proven effective in improving students’ understanding of data processing concepts. This study concludes that meaningful, contextual, and concept-oriented instruction is crucial for enhancing elementary school students’ understanding of data processing and statistical literacy. Abstract

Program KKN ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengelolaan UMKM Desa Dogang melalui digitalisasi dan edukasi akuntansi berbasis nilai Islami. Kegiatan meliputi pendaftaran UMKM ke Google Maps serta pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi sederhana. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan digitalisasi mampu meningkatkan visibilitas usaha, kerapian pencatatan keuangan, serta profesionalitas UMKM. Nilai-nilai Islami seperti shiddiq, amanah, dan tabligh turut memperkuat etika pengelolaan usaha. Program ini berdampak positif pada literasi digital dan finansial UMKM serta mendukung pengembangan ekonomi desa.

Abstract

The cultivation of a love for the homeland is an essential aspect of character education that should be instilled from an early age, particularly among elementary school students. SDK Rakalaba, as one of the elementary schools in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, has demonstrated tangible efforts in instilling the values of patriotism through national literacy activities that are part of the school culture. This study aims to describe the implementation of national literacy as a means of fostering a love for the homeland and to identify the forms of activities and their impacts on students. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that SDK Rakalaba consistently conducts various activities that reflect national literacy, such as habituating students to read books with themes of nationalism, singing the national anthem every morning, using the Indonesian language in teaching and learning activities, and organizing arts and cultural events rich in national values. Teachers and the school principal actively serve as facilitators and role models in creating a learning environment infused with a sense of nationalism. These activities have proven effective in fostering a sense of nationalism among students, such as pride in being Indonesian citizens, appreciating diversity, and demonstrating responsibility towards the school environment. Thus, the consistent cultivation of national literacy can be an effective strategy for developing a love for the homeland in elementary school settings

Abstract

In IPAS learning in grade IV at SD Negeri 2 Calang, it was found that student learning outcomes were still low and had not reached the minimum competency standard (KKTP) of 75%. This was due to teacher-centered learning and the failure to relate the material to the cultural diversity of the students. This study aims to determine how the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) can improve teacher activities, student activities, and learning outcomes in the subject matter “Unique Customs of the Community Around Me.” The research used a qualitative approach of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles with 27 fourth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through observation of teacher activities, observation of student activities, and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the application of CRT had a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes. Teacher activities improved from the good category in cycle I to very good in cycle II. Student activities also improved from good to very good, especially in terms of courage to ask questions, sharing family cultural stories, and cooperation in heterogeneous groups. Abstract

This study aims to examine variations in how readers receive the short story “Burung-Burung Manyar” by Y.B. Mangunwijaya and to reveal the process of meaning formation through the interaction between text and reader. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive analytical method, based on Hans Robert Jauss and Wolfgang Iser's theory of literary reception. The primary data is the text of the short story “Burung-Burung Manyar,” while the secondary data is obtained from in-depth interviews with seven informants. The findings show that readers' reception of this short story varies greatly, influenced by expectations, literacy skills, socio-cultural backgrounds, and the personal experiences of each individual. The dialogue between the text and the reader creates dynamic meaning, confirming that literary texts are open to diverse interpretations. This study makes an important contribution to the study of Indonesian literary reception while confirming the relevance of reception theory in understanding the process of reading contemporary literary works.
